2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Defect. This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, drivers should adjust their seat to allow clearance between the driver's knee and the ignition key, and remove all items from their key ring, leaving only the vehicle key. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2005-2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured February 11, 2004, to July 5, 2007, and 2006-2007 Jeep Commander vehicles manufactured January 31, 2005, to July 5, 2007. In the affected vehicles, the driver may accidentally hit the ignition key with their knee, unintentionally knocking the key out of the run position, turning off the engine.

Risk. If the ignition key inadvertently moves into the OFF or ACCESSORY position, the engine will turn off, which will then depower various key safety systems including but not limited to air bags, power steering, and power braking. Loss of functionality of these systems may increase the risk of crash and/or increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ignition switch, free of charge. Chrysler sent interim notifications to owners in September 2014. The recall began on October 9, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P41.

Defect. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured February 11, 2004, through March 9, 2010; and 2006-2010 Jeep Commander vehicles manufactured January 31, 2005, through March 10, 2010. A transfer case electrical failure may result in an unintentional shifting of the transfer case into the neutral position.

Risk. If the vehicle shifts into neutral, it may roll away increasing the risk of a crash or personal injury.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the final drive controller which governs the transfer case, with new software, free of charge. The recall began on August 15, 2013. Owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753. Chrysler's recall campaign number is N23.

Defect. ROCK KRAWLER IS RECALLING 44 PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION SYSTEMS SOLD AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR USE ON THE VEHICLE LISTED ABOVE. THESE SUSPENSION SYSTEMS WERE PRODUCED WITH GRADE 2 CARRIAGE BOLTS INSTEAD OF THE PROPER GRADE 5 CARRIAGE BOLTS. THE IMPROPER GRADE 2 CARRIAGE BOLTS COULD EXPERIENCE A LOSS OF CLAMPING FORCE FOR THE BOTTOM STRUT FORK.

Risk. THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF EFFECTIVE LIFT AND LOWERING OF THE AFFECTED VEHICLE, POSSIBLY CREATING THE DRIVER TO PANIC WHICH COULD POSSIBLY LEAD TO A VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy. ROCK KRAWLER WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND PROVIDE A FREE REMEDY. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 15. 2008. ALL THE AFFECTED UNTITS HAVE BEEN REMEDIED. OWNERS MAY CONTACT ROCK KRAWLER AT 1-518-270-9822.

Defect. SABERSPORT IS RECALLING 16,270 COMBINATION CORNER AND BUMPER LAMP ASSEMBLIES OF VARIOUS PART NUMBERS SOLD FOR USE AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THESE LAMPS DO NOT CONTAIN THE REQUIRED AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS.

Defect. ON CERTAIN SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS IN A CERTAIN LOT MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED FROM GRAY IRON INSTEAD OF DUCTILE IRON AS DESIGNED AND COULD FRACTURE WITHOUT WARNING.

Risk. THIS WOULD INCREASE THE VEHICLE'S STOPPING DISTANCE AND COULD CAUSE A CRASH.

Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS TO SEE IF THEY FALL INTO THIS LOT AND, IF SO, WILL REPLACE THEM FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 22, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 MPH and exiting an expressway, the vehicle stalled while the brake pedal was depressed to decelerate. The contact shifted into Neutral (N), and the engine was restarted to resume driving. Less than 5 miles later, the failure recurred while making a right turn. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failed throttle body and replaced the component. Following the repair, the failure persisted and increased in frequency, occurring while decelerating or coming to a complete stop. The dealer was contacted and confirmed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was 124,981.

I was driving and wrecked into a sign because I was unable to stop and the vehicle caught on fire under the hood.

I was pulling into the gas station to get some gas. I'm used to use a 2-ft drive so what I could not lift my left foot to put pressure on the brake I used my right foot. It slipped off the brake and after the accelerator and I hit a small Pole stopping me from going into the gas station front door. Just could have been raised up to a work accident I had a couple weeks prior.

When I'm driving down the road my car won't shut off. I have to pull over to the side of the road turn my key completely off and take it out put it back in and start it. It takes a couple of times to get it started as I have to move the key back and forth and then it will start. I did a check engine light check. And it is saying something about a Anti-Theft ignition problem. My headlights stay on all the time and blink when it is shut off.

I have a warning light telling me to check my gas cap. I check out and nothing seems to be wrong. But I do go through a lot of gas. I don't know if there needs to be a new gas cap put on or if it's part of the fuel system

The contact's granddaughter owns a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with Cooper Tires, Tire Line: Discoverer EnduraMax, Tire Size: P245/65/R17, DOT Number: [XXX] . The contact stated while the driver was driving at 70 MPH, the rear passenger's tire had a blowout. The driver was able to pull to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the residence, where the tire was inspected, and the contact became aware that the tire had blown out at the sidewall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the defective tire was shipped to the manufacturer for inspection. The manufacturer later informed the contact that the tire failure had been caused by a pinhole that gradually deflated the tire until the tire had the blowout; however, the contact stated that the TPMS did not indicate a loss of tire air pressure prior to the blowout, and that the failure had occurred abruptly. The manufacturer offered to partially reimburse the cost of the tire. The contact purchased a new tire from the dealer and replaced the tire himself. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 189,000, and the tire failure mileage was approximately 4,000. The VIN was not available. Intermittent starting issues for 5+ years, multiple repairs with no resolution

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee inside door handles cannot be open any of the doors from the inside you have to open it from the outside because the plastic of the inside door handles are made of cheap plastic and Chrysler knows about it ever since 2005 to 2011 and never had a recall what concerns me with people have small children that you can't get out of the vehicle in a time of the emergency and it really concerns me if the vehicle ever caught on fire or flooded or underwater you can't get out and it's the death trap

Vehicle will not start randomly. The battery has been checked, the relays and fuses have been checked, the starter has been replaced, and the fuel pump and fuel filer have been checked. The issue continues sporadically and leaves the driver stranded. There is an known issue with the ignition switch on these Jeeps as my 2008 Jeep Cherokee was recalled for this reason but there is no recall for the 2007 for this same reason.

When I am driving, all of the lights on my dash come on. Seatbelt, check engine, brakes, low tire pressure etc. The stay on for a couple of seconds. Then EVERYTHING turns off for about half a second. Gas gauge, rpm, speedometer all go down to zero, which is how it is when I turn the jeep off. While I'm still driving and going 45 mph! Then every thing turns back on. It happened about 5 months ago once. Then today it happened about 15 times as I drove home from my mother's house, which is about 7-9 miles from my house.

Went in for inspection and found out my vehicle has a small gas leak and turn signal and stomp lamps not working brake lights not working and emission system -obdii system faults

WHILE DRIVING THE JEEP ON THE INTERSTATE AT 65 MPH LOST ALL POWER WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND AFTER A MINUTE IT RESTARTED IT HAS DONE IT NUMEROUS TIMES SOMETIMES SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT SOMETIMES DRIVING 25 MPH THROUGH TOWN THERE IS NO WARNING NO DASH SIGNS OF ANYTHING WRONG VEHICLE JUST SHUT OFF LOSE ALL POWER TERRIFYING TOOK IT TO A JEEP DEALER COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM ALSO THE RADIO PLAYS AND THE DASH DISPLAY DOES NOT LIGHT UP MY POWER WINDOWS WILL GO UP AND DOWN BY THEMSELVES AND END UP HALFWAY. I ONLY BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR SHORT DISTANCES BECAUSE OF THE FEAR OF DEATH LOSE BREAKING AND STEERING. HAVE SEEN OTHER COMPLAINTS WITH THE SAME ISSUES ON THE INTERNET WHY IS THIS VEHICLE ALLOWED TO BE ON THE ROAD

I WOULD BE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY JEEP WILL SHUT OFF ALL BY ITSELF AND THEN TURN BACK ON ALL WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE EXPRESSWAY DOING 75MPH MY STEERING WHEEL AND LIGHTS AND BREAKS WOULD ALL LOCK UP THEN THE JEEP WOULD JUST POP BACK ON AND THEN THE RPM'S WOULD BE REALLY HIGH SO I WOULD HAVE TO HIT THE BREAKS TO SLOW WAY DOWN SO MY JEEP WOULDN'T BLOW UP ON ME . I'VE TAKEN IT TO LIKE 5 MECHANICS AND THEY CAN NOT FIGURE WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT . ENGINE TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING.IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE , INTERMITTENTLY. FEBRUARY 3RD, 2021, JANUARY 17TH, 2021, AND SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE.

THE 4-WHEEL DRIVE TRANSFER CASE CAN DIRECT ENGINE POWER TO THE REAR WHEELS ONLY, ALL FOUR WHEELS, OR IN ITS NEUTRAL POSITION, NON AT ALL. THESE VEHICLES ARE BEING RECALLED BECAUSE THE TRANSFER CASE CAN SHIFT INTO ITS NEUTRAL POSITION WITHOUT WARNING. IF THIS WERE TO OCCUR, ENGINE POWER WOULD NOT REACH ANY OF THE DRIVE WHEELS AND THE VEHICLE COULD NOT MOVE UNDER ITS OWN POWER. DEALERS WILL REPROGRAM THE FINAL DRIVE CONTROLLER WHICH GOVERNS THE TRANSFER CASE TO CORRECT THIS CONCERN.

JEEP IS HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES. IT WILL RANDOMLY GO INTO LIMP MODE AT START, BUT TURNING IT OFF AND RESTARTING IT FIXES THAT ISSUE. IT'S DONE THIS THREE TIMES IN THE 2 YEARS WE HAVE HAD IT. I AM NOW HAVING AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE WHERE SOMETHING IS CAUSING A DRAW ON THE BATTERY WHILE THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR, STARTER, AND NOW THE BATTERY.IT IS CAUSING THE BATTERY TO SWELL, AND THE JEEP IS HAVING TO BE JUMPED TO START MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK. THE BATTERY WAS PUT ON A DEEP CHARGE, AND IT HAD TO BE JUMPED THE NEXT DAY. ALSO THE AIR CONDITIONING BACK LIGHTING GOES OFF AND ON WHEN YOU TURN THE KNOBS OR ADJUST THE FAN SPEED WHILE BOTH DRIVING AND STATIONARY. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ROUGHLY A MONTH.

THE JEEP HAS ELECTRICAL STUFF HAPPENING SPORADICALLY AND DOES NOT START BUT WITH POWER BUT AFTER 3 TO 6 ATTEMPTS STARTS RIGHT UP. I TURN KEY ALL POWER AND BELLS GO OFF AND IT MAKES A HUMMING NOISE AND 1 CLICK NOISE DASH SAYS ' TRANSMISSION OVER TEMP' THE JEEP IS COLD SO NOT OVER TEMPERATURE. I'VE SEEN A LOT OF POST ABOUT RECALL AND ALSO ABOUT IGNITION SWITCH OR MODULE. I'VE ONLY OWNED FOR 2 YEARS AND DEALER SAID CAR HAD NO RECALLS WHEN I PURCHASED. THIS HAPPENS STATIONARY AND ALSO AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO DESTINATION AND WHEN I WENT TO LEAVE IT TOOK SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE STARTING. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR LAST 3 DAYS BUT FEW MESSAGES RANDOMLY POPPED IN INFORMATION CENTER FEW TIMES BEFORE THIS HAD AT DEALER ON COMPUTER NO CODES SAID IT WAS OKAY

I HAD GOTTEN UP TO TAKE A RIDE TO THE STORE AND THE DAY BEFORE I DIDN'T SEE ANY SMOKE. BUT BEFORE I MADE IT TO MY STOP SIGN THERE WAS SMOKE ROLLING AT MY DRIVER DOOR SO I RUSHED BACK TO THE HOUSE AND COULDN'T EVEN OPEN MY DOOR. BY THIS TIME FLAMES WHERE COMING OUT THE DRIVER DOOR AND I TRIED PUTTING IT OUT AFTER I CALLED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WITH A BUCKET OF WATER BECAUSE THE WATER HOSE WOULDN'T REACH AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WOULDN'T BE IN A RUSH. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 175,500.

SOMETIMES WHEN I PUT MY VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND START DRIVING MY VEHICLE WILL GO INTO NEUTRAL FORCING ME TO PULL OVER, PUT IT IN PARK AND TURN IT OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON IN ORDER FOR ME TO DRIVE IT AGAIN. THIS HAPPENS ABOUT TWICE A MONTH.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN JUST CALLED ADVISING THE FRONT CONTROL MODULE HAS TO BE REPLACED WITH TOTAL BEING $1096.41. THE PART IS CURRENTLY ON BACK ORDER.

THE HEAT OF THE SUMMER MONTHS TEND TO MAKE THE CAR ENGINE SPUTTER AS YOU HEAD DOWN THE ROAD. THIS HAPPPENED AGAIN YESTERDAY ONLY THIS TIME AS WE PREPARED TO MAKE OUR TURN THE VEHICLE TOTALLY SHUT OFF, ALLOWING ME TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE STEERING WE WERE FORTUNATE NO ONE WAS BEHIND US OR PULLING OUT WHERE WE WERE TURNING . BEEN HAVING STARTING ISSUES FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS. IT STARTS SOMETIMES AND OTHER TIMES HAVE TO WAIT A FEW HOURS TO A FEW DAYS. THE LAST 2 DAYS WON'T START AT ALL AND HAS DRAINED MY LESS THEN A YEAR OLD BATTERY. 3 WEEKS AGO WINDOWS WILL ROLL DOWN OR UP WHENEVER THEY WANT. DOORS LOCK AND UNLOCK AT RANDOM. I BELIEVED MY CAR IS POSSESSED. READING MORE AND MORE I REALIZED MY TIPM IS BAD. I HAVE LEARNED WITH ALL THE RANDOM THINGS WITH THIS JEEP THAT I WILL NEVER BUY ONE AGAIN. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY

I HAVE A 2007 GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE TAKING MY KIDS TO SCHOOL, I WAS SLOWING DOWN WHEN THE JEEP JUST DIED. I COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND WAS ABLE TO START THE CAR AGAIN. ANYTIME SINCE THEN, MAINLY WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO STOP, IT WOULD DO THE SAME THING. TRIED REPLACING ECM, SENSORS, ETC. NOTHING HAS WORKED YET. JEEP DEALER TOLD US IT COULD BE THE WIRING HARNESS...WHICH WE CANT FIND ANYWHERE.

I HAVE 2 ISSUES. 1ST IS JEEP INTERMITTENTLY DOESN'T START. WHICH SOMETIMES CAUSES IT TO SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING LUCKILY I HAVE BEEN ON SIDE STREETS. IT CRANKS BUT DOESN'T FIRE. WAS TOLD IT COULD BE A BAD FUEL PUMP RELAY. NEXT ISSUE IS IT INTERMITTENTLY PUTS IN SELF IN ALL GEARS SOMETIMES WHEN I START IT AND SOMETIMES WHEN DRIVING. I HAVE TO TURN JEEP OFF AND RESTART IT. WORST HAS BEEN WHEN I'M ON HIGHWAY AND IT DOES THIS I GO FROM 75MPH TO 20MPH AT A DANGEROUS RATE. I THEN HAVE TO PULL OVER AND TURN OFF AND RESTART AGAIN. IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS ON AND OFF FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. AND PROGRESSIVELY GETTING MORE OFTEN.

THE LOCAL DEALER GATEWAY JEEP/CHRYSLER(4103 INTERSTATE 10E, ORANGE TX) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000.

THE DASH, INTERIOR LIGHTS, SPEED ODOMETER, AC/HEATER ARE GOING OUT WHILE DRIVING. IT BLINKS OFF FOR A FEW SECONDS AND COMES BACK ON FOR A FEW SECONDS REPEATEDLY WHILE DRIVING. MY IGNITION WAS REPLACED DUE TO THE PREVIOUS RECALL. WHEN THE DASH COMES BACK ON THREE LIGHTS ARE LIT UP: ESP BAS, CHECK ENGINE AND THE STABILITY CONTROL.

VEHICLE SHUTS OFF WHEN GOING DOWN THE ROAD AND WHEN STARTING IT IS IN CONTINUOUS TURN OVER AND NOT STARTING

DOOR HANDLES BREAKING ON ALL INTERIOR DOORS. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR PASSENGERS IN THE CAR. ESPECIALLY IN THE BACK WHEN YOUR CHILD CAN NOT GET OUT!!! IT STARTED ON THE PASSENGER REAR DOOR AND HAS CONTINUED TO BREAK ON THE OTHERS.

ENGINE STALLS NO MATTER WHAT SPEED I'M GOING. HAPPENS MORE OFTEN WHEN COMING TO A STOP. IT'S AS IF I JUST TURN THE KEY OFF. WHEN IT STALLS, I STOP AND PUT IT IN PARK, TURN THE KEY OFF AND START IT RIGHT BACK UP AND TAKE OFF. IT'S BECOMING A DANGEROUS SAFETY CONCERN.

CAR WOULDN'T START TRANSMISSION OVERTEMP ERROR. DRIVE TO WORK 20 MIN PARKED CAR FLAT SURFACE CAME OUT TO LEAVE AFTER 8 HOUR SHIFT THAT ERROR MESSAGE AND WON'T START. 2ND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED NO WARNING WAS TOLD COMMON ISSUE PIGTAIL TO STARTER BECAUSE OF PLACEMENT IT GETS WET OR MOISTURE. WHICH MAKES THIS CAR QUESTIONABLE TO DRIVE.

ON SEPTEMBER 9 I WAS DRIVING BACK FROM MY GRAND DAUGHTER SCHOOL AND AS I WAS PULLING ON MY STREET, THE JEEP SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING. I HAD NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON OR ANY TYPE OF WARNINGS. I HAD TO COAST INTO MY DRIVEWAY. IT DOESN'T START AT ALL. IT HAD AN OIL CHANGE AND FLUIDS IN JEEP. IT DID IT WITHOUT WARNING

ANYTIME I GO 50+ MPH ALL I CAN HEAR IS A ROARING NOISE. WE HAVE REPLACED THE WHOLE REAR END ALMOST 3 WEEKS AGO THINKING MAYBE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM TURNS OUT IT NOT. WE BOUGHT THIS CAR ALMOST A YEAR AGO SO WE ARE UNSURE IF ANY RECALLS ON IT HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF.

CAR WILL STAY AT 40 MPH AS IF LOCKED INTO THAT SPEED. I PRESS DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL BUT THE CAR WILL NOT GO ANY FASTER. I HAVE TO PULL OVER AND TURN THE CAR OFF, WHEN RESTARTED IT WORKS FINE FOR A WHILE. THEN RANDOMLY IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. THIS HAS OCCURRED ROUGHLY ONCE A MONTH FOR THE PAST YEAR. ON LINE THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF JEEP OWNERS REPORTING THE SAME ISSUE. I CALLED JEEP BUT THEY SAID CAR WAS OUT OF WARRANTY SO TOUGH LUCK. I HAVE OWNED 23 CARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A CAR DO THIS TO ME. OTHER PEOPLE HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR WITH THE SAME ISSUES. THIS HAS HAPPENED BOTH ON THE HIGHWAY AND ON RURAL STREETS.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TUMBLER IN THE IGNITION NEEDED TO BE LUBRICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.

I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO THE MECHANIC SEVERAL TIMES NOW, AND EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING SHOWING BUT AN EMISSIONS CODE. I'M TOLD IT IS THE GAS CAP TO REPLACE IT. MY JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2007 LAREDO ABOUT 149,000 MILES ON IT. NORMALLY, IT RUNS LIKE A CHAMP. I GET OIL CHANGES LIKE CLOCKWORK, AND EVERY TIME IT'S SUGGESTED TO FIX SOMETHING, I DO IT. IT STALLS VERY FREQUENTLY AT STOP SIGNS / STOP LIGHTS, AND I NEED TO LEAVE LOTS OF ROOM BETWEEN ME AND OTHER CARS SO I CAN STEADILY INCH FORWARD WHILE WAITING AT THE RED LIGHT, OTHERWISE IT WILL DIE. IT STARTS UP FINE, BUT STOPPING AGAIN AND IT WILL DIE AGAIN. IT'S TO THE POINT NOW THAT I'M SCARED TO DRIVE MY OWN VEHICLE. STALLS / DIES, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE A/C IS ON MECHANIC SAYS THEY'VE RUN DIAGNOSTICS ON THE CAR AND THE ONLY THING IT SHOWS IS THE EMISSIONS CODE. I'M TOLD YET AGAIN TO REPLACE THE GAS CAP. THIS HAS HAPPENED SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE. IT IDLES ROUGH AND HAS DONE ALL OF THIS SINCE I PURCHASED IT IN DECEMBER OF 2016.

THE TRANSFER CASE HAS NOT WORKED PROPERLY AND THE CAR LURCHES AND STUTTERS WHILE DRIVING. THERE WAS A RECALL INVOLVING THE TRANSFER CASE AND THE COMPUTER, BUT THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE FOR THE TRANSFER CASE ITSELF, WHICH I BELIEVE WAS COMPROMISED FROM DUE TO THE COMPUTER ISSUE BEFORE IT WAS FIXED.
