Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Wagoneer L, 2025-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, and 2026 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. Due to a software error, the tire pressure monitoring system may fail to detect low tire pressure and/or fail to illuminate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System."

Risk. A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of low tire pressure increases the risk of a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2023 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and Jeep Wagoneer L vehicles. A software error may cause the transmission gear selection indicator not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect."

Risk. A missing gear selection indicator may lead to unintended vehicle movement or a vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2023-2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. A software error in the occupant restraint controller module may cause the delayed deployment of the side air bags during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection."

Risk. Delayed air bag deployment during a crash increases the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will update the occupant restraint controller module software, free of charge. Some owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 18, 2026. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.

Risk. A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, "Head Restraints."

Risk. Head restraints that do not lock can result in an increased risk of injury to seat occupants during a crash.

Incorrect software in the rearview camera module may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles. The radiator crossmember bolts may not be properly secured, which can lead to improper air bag deployments and a fuel leak during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 301, "Fuel System Integrity."

Risk. An improper air bag deployment can increase the risk of injury. A fuel leak can increase the risk of a fire.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. An improperly secured connector for the front seat side air bags (SAB) may prevent the air bags from deploying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection."

Risk. An air bag that does not deploy during a crash increases the risk of injury.

A software error in the instrument panel cluster may cause the speedometer to display the incorrect vehicle speed. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. The child seat tether welds on the second-row seat back frame may be insufficient, which can reduce the seat's ability to properly restrain a child during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."

Risk. A child that is not properly restrained during a crash can have an increased risk of injury.

The front bumper may be missing energy absorbing foam, which can cause the front air bags not to deploy as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk. Front air bags that do not deploy as intended can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

An improperly connected coaxial cable may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. An improperly machined steering knuckle may separate between the ball joint and knuckle, causing the wheel to fall outward and resulting in a loss of control.

When the master headlight switch is set to the AUTO position, the driver may be unable to quickly activate the high beams. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. High beam headlights that do not activate as intended can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

A hybrid control processor (HCP) software error may cause the defrosting and defogging system to be inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems."

Risk. An inoperative windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

The steering wheel intermittently sticks, binds, or locks up while driving down a straight road or curves on the freeway, going 65-75mph down highway 5 as well on highway 17. It made it very difficult to maintain a straight path. No dashboard warning lights, error codes, or chimes appear when the failure occurs. It feels like you are fighting with the steering wheel because it forcefully pulls right but when trying to correct it by moving left, it continues trying to go left. I have to move it back to the right to avoid hitting cars or walls and it takes a lot of effort to maintain a steady, straight path. This happens intermittently whether the lane assist is turned on or off. The vehicle was taken to dealership but they were unable to duplicate the issue and no repairs were performed, leaving the issue unresolved.

I lease a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. Since XXX, the vehicle jerks and surges unexpectedly while driving. It happens almost daily, at speeds from 10mph to 30mph, during acceleration. The jerking is abrupt and hard to predict. It affects my control of the vehicle in traffic and when merging, and I am concerned it could cause a rear-end collision. I have taken the vehicle to Salerno Duane Jeep 6 times for this problem: XXX. Each time the dealer recorded "cannot replicate". Repair orders show the vehicle was driven as little as 1 mile during some visits, and one order states a 10-mile road test while the odometer shows 1 mile. The most recent visit began XXX. After 9 days and 20 test miles, the dealer again reported it could not replicate the problem. I have requested they keep the vehicle until it can be replicated. I have recorded multiple videos of the jerking as it happens and gave them to the dealer. During the service on XXX, the vehicle also set fault code P0BBE-00 (hybrid battery pack voltage variation) and required a hybrid battery replacement, with a 5-week wait for parts. The jerking lessened after the repair but has since gotten continually worse. No repair has been made for the jerking. I am asking the NHTSA to review this complaint for a possible safety defect in the 4xe powertrain or hybrid system. I am reporting repeated, sudden losses of motive power at highway speeds in my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe (PHEV). The vehicle's propulsion, electrical, and engine systems completely shut down without warning, causing the car to randomly stop while cruising at 60 mph on the highway, creating an immediate and severe crash risk. Despite the authorized dealership (David Auto of Glen Mills, PA) claiming that all outstanding safety recalls regarding drive power loss were resolved, the defect has actually worsened. This critical failure has occurred on at least three separate occasions recently: Late September 2026: Initial sudden power loss while cruising at 60 mph on the highway. I own a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe that has experienced a recurring safety issue involving unexpected deceleration and loss of acceleration while driving. The vehicle unexpectedly slows down and will not accelerate beyond approximately 60 mph, creating a potentially dangerous situation, particularly on highways when merging, passing, or keeping up with traffic. The vehicle has also displayed a “Service 4WD System” warning. The dealership diagnosed diagnostic trouble code C1463, “Front Axle Disconnect Control – Unexpected Operation,” and recommended replacing the front axle disconnect actuator/motor. The estimated repair cost was approximately $1,054. The dealership subsequently replaced the part, but the same problem occurred again afterward. This indicates that replacing the recommended component did not resolve the underlying issue. During these incidents, the vehicle’s ability to accelerate is severely limited, and turning the vehicle off and restarting it has sometimes restored normal operation. The recurrence of this issue despite the repair raises serious concerns about the vehicle’s reliability and safety. I am concerned that this defect could cause a crash or place the driver and other motorists at risk, especially when the vehicle unexpectedly loses speed in highway traffic. Vehicle experienced a sudden loss of motive power at highway speeds without warning. The vehicle lost total propulsion at 60mph with zero dashboard error text or warning lights. Driver pressed fully on gas pedal to avoid activating the regenerative braking system. Driver pumped gas pedal but no response from vehicle. Vehicle began to lose speed while operating on an Interstate Freeway in the dark (between 6a - 7a). Driver began shifting into Neutral and back to Drive which only restored power for one second before cutting out again. There are no text errors or engine indicating warnings or alerts. Vehicle stalled and driver put on hazards and slowly made way to the shoulder and nearest exit ramp which was ~2 mile from event start to exit ramp. Event happened September 18, 2026. Another identical event on the same stretch of Interstate reoccurred on October 2, 2026 which prompted owner to take to the dealership for diagnostic. Jeep dealership was unable to diagnose or duplicate the issue.

Full body electrical was replaced. System completely failed 2nd time leaving me stranded at work. First time it failed was at the car was Tiger Express Mt [XXX]. The vehicle eventually came back up after 8hrs of being stranded at the car wash for 2 days later the vehicle wouldn't start at all 11pm at CIC Wellsfargo campus on [XXX]. The car has died 5 times in the past two years. It was bought brand new off the lot. Dealership says it is always an electrical/battery issue and then the car dies again. The car gets towed to the dealership each time and full inspections done. The car has been unusable for 20+ days out of 2 years.

Statement of Complaint: I am writing to file an official consumer protection complaint regarding a 2024 Jeep Cherokee 4xe that I recently leased. Throughout the duration of my lease possession, the vehicle suffered from persistent safety defects and unresolved manufacturer recalls that severely impacted its safety, reliability, and drivability. Despite multiple attempts to address these critical factory defects, the vehicle remained unreliable. On October 3, 2026, the vehicle was repossessed. I contend that the manufacturer and financing institution failed to provide a safe, merchantable vehicle as agreed upon in the lease contract, and that the financial loss and subsequent repossession stem directly from the vehicle’s manufacturing failures. Requested Resolution: I am requesting that the Attorney General's office investigate the consumer practices surrounding this lease. I am seeking a fair partial refund of the lease payments made while operating a known defective vehicle, as well as an equitable mediation of any outstanding post-repossession balance claims being made by the lender.

As I drove on the interstate, a warning came up saying that my vehicle speed may be limited. Almost immediately after the engine shut off completely and the gearbox locked. The dash said to press the brake and the on/off button, but when I tried it wouldn't work and a notice came up on the screen that I couldn't do that because I wasn't in park. My engine would not turn back on, and I had to coast to the side of the rode.

The whole vehicle is a safety issue. Have to park outside, cannot charge due to Manufacturer for safety. Numerous electrical issues with braking, electric and emergency braking. Have more pictures of messages with miles below it. Also a few more repair records.

My vehicle is subject to three safety recalls: 78C / NHTSA 25V‑766 (Engine Fire Risk) 68C / NHTSA 25V‑741 (High Voltage Battery Defect) NHTSA 25V‑576 (Battery Pack Control Module microprocessor overload) Because of the fire risk, I was unable to park in my driveway for approximately two months, resulting in loss of use. While travelling on [XXX] in [XXX], and exiting on to I-80 [XXX] the vehicle failed to accelerate past 60mph almost causing a major accident during high traffic. The vehicle failed to respond above 60 in Hybrid and E-Save mode and I had to exit immediately. This incident is following 12 recalls with the vehicle (2024 Jeep GC Plug-in Hybrid 4xe). The vehicle is currently at Salt Lake Valley under major engine repair and a claim was submitted to Jeep Customer Care. No warning messages occurred at the time of the incident. The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while test driving at an undisclosed speed, an unknown warning light flashed on the instrument panel. The dealer informed the contact that the battery was low and that the light had been replaced, while also informing the contact that the vehicle had experienced difficulty starting prior to purchase. Days later, upon starting the vehicle, all warning lights illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, but the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure, cleared the codes, and returned the vehicle; however, the failure recurred. While driving, the steering wheel became inoperable, causing the driver to lose steering control, and the vehicle crashed into a Ford Mustang. A red steering warning light illuminated. A police report was filed. There were no reported injuries, airbag deployment, or fire. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, where it was determined that the vehicle was undrivable, could not be inspected in the service bay, required an unknown replacement part, and that the steering wheel computer failed to communicate. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that the vehicle did not qualify under the lemon law, prompting the contact to report the issue to the Attorney General, who referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

My 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee suffers from an intermittent but severe 2-to-3-second acceleration lag as well as lunging when attempting to accelerate. This occurs specifically during low-speed or rolling left-hand turns, or when accelerating from a complete stop to execute a left turn across traffic. When the accelerator pedal is depressed to clear the intersection, the engine and transmission momentarily fail to provide propulsion, leaving the vehicle stranded mid-intersection. This defect represents an immediate, severe collision hazard. Because the power cuts out while the steering wheel is turned, I have experienced multiple near-miss accidents where oncoming traffic had to slam on their brakes to avoid a broadside/T-bone collision. The dealer has not yet been able to permanently resolve this dangerous, unpredictable loss of driving power.

On August 8, 2026, at approximately 23,959 miles, my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe experienced a significant loss of propulsion while accelerating in Hybrid mode to merge onto a highway. During acceleration, the check engine light began flashing, then remained illuminated, and the vehicle displayed a “Service Hybrid System Required” warning. The vehicle then provided little to no effective motive power despite accelerator input, making it unsafe to continue the highway merge. I was forced to pull off the roadway and stop the vehicle. The vehicle could not be safely driven and required towing to a Jeep dealership. This vehicle has a prior history of hybrid-system-related repairs and recalls. Previous service included high-voltage battery recall work, control module programming, replacement of the electric coolant heater, and replacement of the auxiliary coolant pump and coolant temperature sensor after earlier check-engine-light, EV-mode, and Hybrid-mode drivability complaints. A prior repair order also documented jerking during deceleration and reacceleration while operating in Hybrid mode. The current dealer has been unable to reproduce the loss-of-propulsion event. During diagnosis, one or more vehicle control modules may have been reset or cleared, which may have removed stored diagnostic trouble codes or other event data associated with the failure. I am reporting this because the sudden loss of propulsion occurred during highway entry and created a serious safety concern.

As I was merging onto the highway my sunroof combusted without any impact that would cause it. Upon inspection there was no item that hit the glass, the glass shattered entirely across the entire pane and broke apart ( not just spiderwebbing, there was glass falling into the sun roof visor)

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving 35 MPH and making a left turn, the vehicle decelerated to 29 MPH and failed to properly accelerate. The accelerator pedal was depressed and went down to the floorboard. The vehicle was pulled over safely and avoided a crash. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle. The battery power was at 1 percent after driving the vehicle. The local dealer was contacted about the Lemon Law. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, and the contact was informed about the cost of a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 54,130.

Vehicle is an active fire hazard subject to the high-voltage battery recall (NHTSA 24V-718). The manufacturer's safety instructions require me to stop charging the vehicle and park it away from homes and structures. Because I am currently leasing this vehicle from Chrysler Capital and have no alternate transportation, I am forced to drive an active fire risk for daily transit. The local Jeep dealership has refused to provide a temporary loaner vehicle or rental accommodation while a final remedy is pending. The lack of a timely repair, combined with the refusal of the manufacturer to provide safe, alternative transit, forces me to operate a defective vehicle that poses an immediate safety risk to myself, my family, and the general public.

Not being able to park inside due to potential FIRE, messages of electric mode inoperable, emergency pedestrian ranking, going from park to auto shift it loud/clunky. Infotainment sometimes takes a while to load or recognize apple car play. Main concern would of course be fire potential and not charging it. Which defeats whole purpose of leasing it to see how it does. No other problems except for the ones we all have had with 4Xe models.

Electrical system (Hy-bird System). Yes it's available for inspection. Yes my safety was at risk. Yes Yes No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. After the first recall was completed.

The entire rear passenger suspension failed creating over $8k in OEM replacement parts and labor. Less than two months later I am now experiencing the same issues on the drivers side

During a standard service, the servicing dealership (Lester Glenn Jeep, Tom’s River,NJ) failed to perform the mandatory factory electronic scan bleed required for the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) and ABS/ESC modules. This critical omission left unpurged fluid and internal system aeration trapped deep inside the electronic braking components, severely compromising the vehicle's stopping integrity and creating an immediate safety hazard. The safety omission was caught and documented via a secondary diagnostic scan by another authorized Jeep servicing facility (Pine Belt Jeep, Lakewood,NJ ), which had to perform the corrective electronic scan bleed to restore proper braking functionality and make the vehicle safe for public roads.

After the 68C recall software update upon getting my Jeep back I can no longer drive in the electric mode without the Jeep surging into and out of the gas mode at slow speeds or fast speeds. My jeep does hesitate or bogs down prior to engaging the gas mode.

When I push the turn signal stockforward to initiate the highbeams, the highbeam function does not work. The lever clicks into position as it should, but it does not initiate the high beam mode. It will work first thing in the morning when I start my car, but after three or four minutes, the highbeams disengage and goes back to low beam.When I use the flash-to-pass mode by pulling the lever toward me, the highbeams do work. The problem began about two weeks ago when driving home at night, I had no highbeams which was a safety issue. I have not taken my vehicle to the dealership for anyone to take a look at the issue yet. From what I’ve read it seems like it’s a problem with the multifunction switch in which other 2024 Jeep grand Cherokees had a recall. I don’t abuse my vehicle components. In fact, I’m probably extra careful to use them properly and I use them with ease. My car is still under warranty. Is this something that is typically covered under warranty? I cannot seem to find a recall for the matter. My Vin number returns zero recalls.

06/13/2026: THIRD EPISODE of 2024 Jeep GC Summit (Top of Line) Battery being COMPLETELY DEAD after 3-4 days of no driving. I bought my Jeep in 12/2025!? Another issue that others report is the DIFFICULTY of 'jumping' the battery/engine to give a start. We tried multiple times on the evening of 06/13 to no avail. On Sunday, 06/14, we REVVED the jumper engine to ....7000 or 8000 rpms (on the tachometer) before getting enough power to successfully jump the Jeep. THIS New Vehicle "Dead Electric" is very scary on how it could strand us!!

Went to turn right car kept pushing straight and steering wheel locked up. Also, no airbags were deployed

Continuously losing power while driving. It almost feels like a drop in power and a tug backwards. It’s not the same as regenerative breaking as I am familiar with that concept. Yesterday it responded differently. Instead of losing power there was a burst of power which almost caused me to crash into the vehicle in front of me. Lastly for the last 6 months my car fuel gauge doesn’t work correctly. It gets stuck at half and doesn’t register the gasoline put in til miles later. This has caused me to run out or gas 3 times, something that never happened in my other vehicles.

The contact received notification of NTHSA Campaign Number: 25V766000 (Engine); however, the vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,500.

On XXX, at approximately 8:45 AM in [XXX], my wife was driving our 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. She was stopped at a red traffic light and, when the light turned green, proceeded to make a normal left turn through the intersection. While approximately halfway through the intersection, the vehicle unexpectedly displayed a forward collision warning ("BRAKE!") and aggressively applied the Automatic Emergency Braking system. The weather was clear and sunny, and there was no apparent vehicle, pedestrian, obstacle, or other hazard in the Jeep's path that would have justified an emergency braking intervention. The unexpected braking caused the Jeep to decelerate abruptly in the middle of the intersection. As a result, a truck traveling behind the Jeep, at an estimated speed of approximately 10 mph, rear-ended the vehicle. A second vehicle then rear-ended the truck, resulting in a multi-vehicle collision. A police report was filed, and my wife was determined not to be at fault for the accident. We are submitting this report because we are concerned that the unexpected activation of the Automatic Emergency Braking system may represent a serious safety issue that could endanger vehicle occupants and other motorists and should be investigated. On 11 October 2025, I was driving on the Interstate when an error message appeared in the cluster "Active Lane Management (ALM) Unavailable Service Required". The Lane Assistance turned OFF and could not be turned back ON until vehicle was restarted. I called the dealership and requested an appointment. They stated that unless they could repeat the issue, an appointment would be useless. The ALM error message disappeared on restart of the vehicle. On 02 January 2026, I started the vehicle when an error message appeared in the cluster "Auto Emergency Break (AEB) Limited Functionality Service Required". The Lane Assistance turned OFF but could be turned back ON. The vehicle visited the dealership on 13 February 2026 and the AEB error was repeated numerous times on start by dealership personnel. On Monday, 23 February 2026, vehicle was left at dealership for 10 days. They performed numerous software updates and returned vehicle to me on 05 March 2026. On 09 March 2026, AEB Error message appeared in cluster. Took vehicle immediately to dealership and they refused to take it back in for service. They stated Jeep had no idea how to resolve and I had to wait on a solution. AEB message happened again on 14 March 2026, 31 March 2026, 01 April 2026, 05 May 2026, 08 May 2026, 21 May 2026. On 05 May 2026, the AEB error and ALM error appeared on the same day. I drove the vehicle to the dealership and they retrieved error code U045D. Unexpected acceleration pulling into parking spot which caused significant damage to my vehicle and vehicle in front of my vehicle. The hybrid battery was on low and witness outside of vehicle indicated it was making loud whining noise before collision. Filed a complaint with Stellantis. They did nothing. They did not check the hybrid system or software controlling the hybrid system.

I am filing this complaint due to ongoing safety-related defects and recall-related concerns affecting the vehicle, including repeated recalls, reduced confidence in vehicle safety, loss of vehicle use, and concerns regarding battery system reliability and fire risk. The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked and un intended in a parking lot the vehicle passenger side rear coil spring detached independently No warning lights illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was dignoased that rear coil spring needed to be replaced. The contact related the failure to the NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V051000(SUSPENSION) however the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and they informed him NHTSA adds VIN's to recalls . The failure mileage was 74,265.

Since recalled was published Nov2025, no remedy has been taken, and manufacture seems not prepare to repair the issue which is a big safety concern

On 5/11/26 at approximately 7:40pm, I was driving a leased 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee in [XXX] , turning left at the busy intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] . I was in the outside lane of a double left-turn lane with a green left-turn arrow, while opposing traffic was also moving through the intersection in its own turn movement. In the center of the intersection, the vehicle suddenly activated Forward Collision Warning and then Auto Emergency Braking without warning, even though I was lawfully proceeding through the turn. The vehicle stopped abruptly and forcefully in the middle of the intersection, leaving my car stranded in active traffic. I braced for a rear-end collision, which surprisingly did not occur as there must not have been another car behind me After the sudden stop, I was unable to shift the vehicle back into Drive for several seconds. By the time I was able to move the car again, the light had turned red and other lanes of traffic were beginning to proceed. This created an immediate risk of a serious collision from cross traffic or vehicles approaching from behind. The force of the unexpected stop was strong enough to cause neck pain. By chance, no other vehicle struck my car, but this was a near-miss event with clear potential for severe injury or death. I no longer feel safe driving this vehicle. The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the part required to complete the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer confirmed that the remedy parts were not yet available and were currently backordered. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure; however, the contact expressed concern that the failure could prevent the vehicle from charging properly.

The Active Lane Management (ALM) and Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) systems on this 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe fail repeatedly while the vehicle is in motion at highway speeds. The defect began at 384 miles. The ALM system will silently disable itself, and the AEB system forces the vehicle to display an 'AEB Limited Functionality Service Required' warning. Following six distinct repair attempts, the authorized servicing dealer (Eide Chrysler) stated in writing via text message on March 5, 2026, that this is a 'known issue' and that FCA engineering currently has 'no fix' available. The manufacturer has attempted to dismiss the ongoing hardware failure as a resolved hybrid battery software recall, but the collision avoidance systems remain actively defective. Because the steering overcorrection and sudden loss of emergency braking present an immediate crash risk, the vehicle is unsafe to operate.

Involved in a motor vehicle accident front end damage with all airbags deployed. The passenger front seat dislodged during the accident, causing the passenger and the seat to be pressed up against the glove compartment leading to injury to passenger severe bruising and burns all up and down both legs lacerations to right ankle requiring the use of crutches.

My Vehicle some times gives a jerk once in awhile I also have been told I cant charge my vehicle these recalls have no fix to them I am getting really tired of this and want Jeep to buy back my vehicle!!!

After recall 68c was completed the electric only power is way down. They did not fix the battery, they just reduced performance to try and minimize the risk and save them from replacing the defective part. This is not a fix but a fundamental change in the cars functionality as bought and is not acceptable.

I am filing a safety complaint regarding serious and recurring issues with my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee that create unsafe driving conditions. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I began experiencing intermittent electrical malfunctions while driving. Without warning, multiple dashboard warning lights and signals activate simultaneously. During these events, I lose confidence in the vehicle’s reliability and safety, as it is unclear whether critical systems are affected. On at least one occasion, the issue forced me to pull over to the side of the road due to safety concerns. The vehicle would not return to normal operation immediately, and I had to repeatedly turn the vehicle off and on for approximately 20 minutes before it reset. In addition, the check engine light has been on for a significant portion of the time since I purchased the vehicle. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership multiple times, but the issue has not been permanently resolved. I am also concerned about multiple safety recalls affecting this vehicle. Some of these recalls currently have no available remedy, which increases the risk and leaves me driving a vehicle that may have known safety defects without a fix. These ongoing issues pose a serious safety risk to me and others on the road. I am requesting that this matter be investigated, and that appropriate action be taken to address these defects. I was sold a defective 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. Both the batter and engine can catch fire while parked and is not recommended to be parked near other cars or any structures. The dealership told me that the recalls were not on my vehicle at the time of purchase per Stellantis (November 7, 2025) which in fact they were. They said my car was not protected under Lemon Law which it is. And a number of other misinformation. I bought the car for around $35,000 and in 6 months the value depreciated to $20,000 per the sales manager Michael Morris. They claimed to have no access to this purchase in their database.

I am the owner of a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WL) subject to Safety Recall 12B / NHTSA 24V-130, concerning high beam headlamps that fail to respond when the master lighting switch is set to the AUTO position. I contacted Flagship Chrysler to schedule the free recall repair. The dealer refused to perform the service, claiming my vehicle does not qualify because it lacks the Auto High Beam feature (sales code LMS). However, according to the official recall documentation, the recall applies specifically to vehicles WITHOUT the Auto High Beam Headlamps feature (sales code LMS). My vehicle does have the Auto Lights function but does not have Auto High Beam — which is precisely the condition described in the recall scope. The dealer appears to be confusing Auto Lights with Auto High Beam, and is incorrectly excluding my vehicle from a mandatory safety recall. This repair is required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 S9.4, and I am being denied a free remedy I am legally entitled to. I am requesting NHTSA's assistance in ensuring the dealer complies with their legal obligation to perform this recall repair at no charge.

The factory-installed Trailer Tow module in my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee keeps shutting down the lights in my horse trailer while on the road. The trailer lights been thoroughly inspected and no problem with the lights or wiring could be found. The Jeep dealer said the Jeep is "functioning as designed." Apparently, it is designed to shut down all the trailer lights at the most minor change in the current. It is a huge safety issue for me, my horse and anyone that may be behind us. I will be driving along and a "check trailer lights" message comes on - when that happens, I know I have no trailer lights because the Jeep has shut them down. The lights will not go back on until the car reboots, which means it has to be turned off for 15 minutes or so.

This vehicle has experienced repeated mechanical and electronic failures since delivery, including hybrid drivetrain faults, heating system malfunctions, and multiple diagnostic repair attempts. The vehicle is also subject to active Safety Recall 78C, which identifies a manufacturing defect that may cause catastrophic engine failure and vehicle fire risk. The manufacturer has acknowledged that a repair remedy is currently unavailable. The dealership that sold and serviced the vehicle has also recently ceased operations following acquisition by Carvana. These conditions materially impair the vehicle’s safety, reliability, and usability.

I have a 2024 JEEP 4xe. I received a notice not to charge the car or park indoors as it a potential fire hazard. The car has been in the shop over ten times These services included water pump, new antennas as the car would not start, two new keys, low tire pressure light won’t go off, radio malfunction, body shop as door from factory was not installed properly, car stopped on middle of road and died, rented a car from Enterprise Leasing received message to return asap as it could cause a fire. Car only has 15323 miles on it. Keep getting the run around from Stellantis. Please help.
