Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 F-150 and 2023-2026 F-250 SD vehicles equipped with 8-inch SYNC infotainment screens. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to be obstructed by the infotainment home screen menu when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. An obstructed rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed August 7, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in September 2026. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 F-150, 2022-2026 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, Maverick, 2024-2026 Ranger, 2023-2026 F-600 SD, 2022-2027 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, and 2026 E-Transit vehicles. When towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may lose communication with the vehicle, possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights, or a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, " Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Trailer lights or brakes that do not function can reduce the driver’s ability to control the trailer and decrease the trailers visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The integrated trailer module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 25, 2026. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.

Risk. A detached wind deflector can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and repair the moonroof wind deflector as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 10, 2025. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150, and 2022 Expedition vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving.

Risk. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the low pressure fuel pump on super duty vehicles and update the powertrain control module (PCM) software on all other affected vehicles, free of charge. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2022-2025 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.

Risk. A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on June 26, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 F-150, 2022 Maverick, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 22V-193. Due to a software error, a towed trailer equipped with an electric or electric-over hydraulic brake system may not brake.

Risk. Loss of trailer brake functionality can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, 2020-2024 Escape, Lincoln Corsair, 2018-2024 F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirement Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk. Without a label that shows the proper restraint usage guidelines, the occupants may have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Remedy. Ford will mail owners the warning labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2024. Owners may call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24C39.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the garage, the parking brake activated independently. The failure was a recurring failure. The daytime running lights are out. Vehicle is available for inspection. This puts my safety and the safety of others at risk by not being o by reducing visibility of the vehicle during low light scenarios where the headlights are off. Example I live in an area with lots of fog and drive a gray vehicle that is not clearly visible if headlights are off due to light exposure. Problem is consistent and able to be reproduced for inspection. Vehicle has not been inspected by any agent to this point but it is available and will be noticed upon inspection by direction. There are no warning lamps or messages alerting driver of malfunction which poses another safety risk. Problem has been consistent for past 3 weeks upon every start.

I was driving on XXX south to grab some Mexican food for dinner. on the way at one point i smelled something burning like an oil smell. but didnt see anything and suspected it was the old car in front of me. and my f150 was running fine. when i got out at the restaurant i did not see or smell anything around the truck. i went in to find they were closing at 9:00pm and it was 8:40ish. so i left telling them id stop back another day. was driving north on XXX heading home when around the same area of [XXX] 51 I smelled something burning again. once again i didnt see any smoke around my truck, no one was beeping at me or anything. and the truck was running/working well. i figured maybe its someone with a fire in their yard. further down [XXX] about 300 ft before [XXX], i smelled smoke stronger this time and looked up and to my right and saw smoke pouring out of a vent or something on the headliner. realizing that the truck is obviously on fire i wanted to get it off the street asap so as to be less a danger to others. so i turned up [XXX] at the intersection and pulled off the side of the road as far off as i could get the truck. grabbed my phone from the passenger seat and exited the truck in a hurry. as i looked over at the truck i saw flames coming up from underneath between the cab and the bed of the truck - looked to be centered under the truck. i ran about 150 feet from the truck and called 911. i turned around as i was talking to the operator. and the truck was completely

Daytime running lights (LED) in headlights burn out/quit working. Currently it is only the pasenger side of my vehilce but its a common issue and eventually both passenger and driver side DRL's quit working. there is no repair for this, only option for the owner is to replace the entire headlight assembly and that is extremely costly.

Emergency parking brake came on and would not turn off even when I tried to do a reset. We had to have the truck towed.

I was driving and went to press the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. The truck would not stop right away and then the rear tires locked up. Light came on the dash ABS, service traction control and brake system failure, this was a similar issue with the 2021 and 2025 model having issues with the EBB/ECU that was on recall.

While driving, my 2022 Ford F-150 equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost experienced abnormal engine operation, a check-engine light, and reduced engine power. The unexpected reduction in available engine power created a safety concern because loss of acceleration or propulsion can be dangerous when merging, crossing traffic, passing, or traveling at highway speeds. The vehicle was inspected and diagnosed by an authorized Ford dealership. The PCM stored DTC P0332, Knock/Combustion Vibration Sensor “B” Circuit Low. The dealer performed Ford Pinpoint Test DG. Testing reportedly found no open circuit, short to ground, short to voltage, or intermittent circuit fault. The dealer determined that the knock-sensor assembly required replacement.The repair involves replacement of Ford knock-sensor assembly FT4Z-12A699-E, which contains both knock sensors. Access to the assembly requires extensive disassembly of engine fuel and cooling-system components. Ford’s service procedure includes removal of both direct-injection fuel rails, draining the cooling system, removal of the coolant pump, and removal of the coolant outlet connector.I am concerned about the possibility of coolant leakage or contamination affecting the knock-sensor assembly because of its location in relation to cooling-system components. I do not currently know whether coolant contamination caused this particular failure. I request that NHTSA investigate whether coolant leakage or contamination in this area contributes to prema

My truck was parked on a slight slope in my driveway. I got in to move the truck to my normal parking space. When I started the truck I noticed the emergency brake was on. I put the truck into drive- the truck accelerated with my foot on the brake. The truck struck the corner of my deck and didn't stop until I hit the corner at my house. I had the brake pushed to the firewall and the truck would kept accelerating. Thankfully the airbags did not deploy. Significant damage was done to my house and my truck.

Recall first fuel pump issue unresolved. It has been over a year since recall was issued

There is an issue with my cowl which has 1 drain hole, on passenger side which if gets clogged with debris, causes water to build up and water to intrude from cowl into interior truck causing water intrusion to the body control module and electrical issues, and carpet is wet and creates mold smell and other safety issues. Cowl is not removable

Failure by Ford to fix a fuel pump issue that has been known since Feb 2025. Should a vehicle stall while being operated due to this issue it could lead to a crash. I would think such a serious safety issue would be addressed and fixed to prevent unnecessary accidents/injuries/death.

My 2022 Ford F-150 has experienced intermittent delayed starting, uneven idle, and hesitation during acceleration. At times, the engine sounds and feels as though it may shut off. I began noticing these symptoms several months ago, and the most recent occurrence was approximately August 2026. I do not recall seeing any warning lamps or warning messages when these symptoms occurred. The vehicle has not yet been inspected or diagnosed by a Ford dealer or independent repair facility for these specific symptoms, and the cause has not been confirmed. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. I am concerned because my vehicle is affected by Ford Recall 25S75 / NHTSA Recall 25V455 involving potential fuel pump failure and loss of fuel pressure, which may result in poor engine performance and engine stalling. I am concerned that the symptoms I am experiencing could create a safety risk if the engine loses power or shuts off while driving.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55-65 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The check engine and battery warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, and the failure was associated with the recall and a diagnostic trouble code related to the ECM reprogramming for the fuel system. The vehicle was towed to the local Ford dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle with a fuel system failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 29,043.

On two occasions vehicle failed 3-4 upshift and abruptly shifted into first instead. Transmission harshness/flaring. I am experiencing intermittent flaring/slippage and harshness with the 3-4 upshift and 4-3 downshift, 4-5 upshift, and 7-8 upshift. Most of the time, it exhibits as a flare/slip/bogging down during the 3-4 upshift, sometimes accompanied by a slam once it catches. Less often there is a slam during the 4-3 downshift or 3-1 downshift, especially when coming to a stop. The issue is more pronounced when the transmission is cold but does occur when fully warmed up, just far less frequently.

LED strip for the headlight assembly burned out. No known repair other than to replace the whole headlight assembly for $2500. This is a common issue with a poor design from ford and can cause visibility and safety issues with the vehicle. The dealership at beach ford in myrtle beach, sc swapped LED modules to make sure it wasn’t a programming or module issue, the symptom did not change headlights.

The felt under shield on the Ford F150 ha came detached three times. I have replaced it each time. When I returned to the Ford dealer I was told not to replace because it will get wet and fall off again. More importantly they said it was not needed. Its function is to reduce noise and keep mud, dirt, and rain from getting under the vehicle. I was told if I wanted to replace it I could get an after market product made of metal to stop if from breaking. The part that breaks is the felt connection where it screws into the underbody. My point is that if the Ford dealership tells me I don't need it why is it there in the first place? Next, Ford dealerships know this is a problem, there are many complains on the Ford internet sites. Because it has happened so many times to me and others Ford should have a recall and they should pay for the metal replacement. This should be a class action suit because Ford manufacture and Ford dealers know it is a problem, but still sell the vehicle knowing the issue.
