Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4XE, and Jeep Gladiator vehicles. The electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring may overheat and cause a vehicle fire, even when the vehicle is parked with the ignition in the "Off" position.

Risk. A vehicle fire increases the risk of injury.

Remedy. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, until their vehicle is repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring and electric hydraulic power steering pump, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 9, 2026. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 46D. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.

Risk. A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. The remaining owner notification letters will be mailed at a later date. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 68C. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The remote start antenna cable may be pinched, which can cause the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light not to illuminate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."

Risk. A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of a problem increases the risk of a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The incorrect dash wiring harness was installed, which can result in inoperative trailer lighting. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Trailer lights that fail to illuminate can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the dash wiring harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is B9B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, a center brake light that fails to illuminate can fail to indicate to other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers replaced the harness for the center brake light and rearview camera and/or the spare tire carrier/harness assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Gladiator and 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The instrument panel cluster may experience an internal short circuit and fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays."

Risk. An instrument panel that fails to display critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the instrument panel cluster, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed between October 3, 2024, and January 23, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 30B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The vehicles are equipped with incorrect tail lights that may be obstructed by the spare tire. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Obstructed tail lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the tail lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 29, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 90B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The power distribution center may prevent the trailer turn signal lights and taillights from operating as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Trailer taillights and turn signal lights that do not illuminate as intended can increase the risk of a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) (Stellantis) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Chrysler Pacifica, Ram 3500, Ram 3500 cab chassis, Ram 2500, Ram 4500 cab chassis, Ram 5500 cab chassis, 2023 Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a GVWR less than 10,000 lbs., and Chrysler Voyager vehicles. The steering column control module may not be welded properly, which can prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk. An air bag that does not deploy in a crash can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module, as necessary free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2024 through June 20, 2024. When in electric mode, after driving about 5 miles, it will suddenly drop power and not accelerate. After 5-10 seconds the engine will turn on. It's in the 5-10 seconds that is a safety concern because it can happen at any time, merging into traffic, or other time when acceleration is necessary to avoid a collision. I've talked to my dealership and they say it's normal because there are no engine codes.

This is a 2024 Jeep RubiconX with 10.5k miles. I was running 60mph on a state highway on electric mode. I Didn’t see the battery was nearing 50%… sure enough Jeep lost power at 50% charge even though I was trying to floor it to keep it moving. The ICE kicked in a few seconds later. There was a car right behind me and understandably started honking his horn thereafter. Not even sure if my tail lights turned on when it lost power- I’m assuming not because my foot wasn’t on the brakes. Next morning the Jeep is dead. Dealership confirmed HV battery replacement. I’m just not sure how these are still allowed on the road. Specially with what 3 or 4 recalls on the same batteries with which Jeep’s resolution is simply a software update to detect any bad battery? Even with the 4th recall on the same issue, there are still reports of vehicles catching up on fire while parked. Not sure how you can keep letting them get away with this. Now Jeep has been throttling battery and electric performance without letting the owners know of the changes- this last recall (68C) they installed the 50% threshold mentioned above where the battery will just stop providing power and make the engine take over after some delay. This experience is not unique to me- it has been reported by several others in the largest Jeep 4xe forum. Endangering peoples lives by killing battery power abruptly in the middle of the road to save Stellantis/Jeep money from actually putting a fix on the issue is just another Ford

The Vehicle has a lack of power in electric mode and stalls when the engine turns on to run on gas power. This is causing merging issues or ramping up to speed to enter the highway. When trying to quickly turn or avoid being hit by an oncoming traffic when you floor the accelerator, it lags and doesn’t engage power to quickly move out of the way. You have to be in gas mode for a quick response. This happens all the time.

2024 Jeep 4XE Wrangler Rubicon, 3 recalls, 1st EV battery, potential fire hazard, 2nd Sand in the engine, potential fire hazard, 3rd wiring harness for steering unit, potential fire hazard, all of them can cause a fire with it being parked and not even plugged in for charging. FCA sent out the recall notices, and later said they had remedies, the problem is the remedies aren't remedies at all. I was at my dealership 2 days ago talking to my service writer, and he told me that another customer with the same vehicle passed the so called remedy for sand in the engine, a few days later his engine light came on, and now the dealership is replacing his engine, with that being said doesn't that mean that even with a passed so called remedy, it could still be a fire hazard. I have had all the recalls done at my dealership, but I don't feel that they are being honest about any of these remedies actually working, and that everytime I get in the vehicle or park it I'm afraid that it could still catch fire. I have a vehicle that has been taken off the market by the manufacturer, and has told the dealerships not to sell them, I have tried to get some reimbursement, but have had no luck, am hiring an attorney to try to get something done.

Was difficult to start and check engine was immediately on after I got it started. Was running sluggish and went into turtle mode while driving it to the dealership.

I have leased this vehicle since November 2023. It currently has approximately 49,638 miles and has been in the dealership for service four separate times during the lease. More seriously, I have experienced TWO separate incidents where the Jeep completely shut off while I was driving. In both situations, the vehicle would not restart while I was on the freeway and roads, creating an extremely dangerous situation and a serious risk of an accident. This is no longer simply a customer satisfaction or warranty issue. I have genuine safety concerns about continuing to drive this vehicle. The vehicle has also been subject to multiple safety recalls, including: A7C / NHTSA 25V-710 68C / NHTSA 25V-741 78C / NHTSA 25V-766 21D/NHTSA 26V-363 25V-720 The combination of repeated service visits, multiple safety recalls, and two actual incidents of loss of power while driving has left me without confidence that this vehicle is safe or reliable. I contacted Jeep/Stellantis regarding this situation and was told that the assistance being offered is essentially reimbursement for a rental vehicle after I pay for the rental out of pocket. I do not believe that adequately addresses the seriousness of the situation. I am requesting that Stellantis formally review the complete repair and recall history of this vehicle and escalate my case to a regional case manager or other appropriate decision-maker. Vehicle has recurring failure of the Uconnect infotainment system and underlying Telematics Box Module (TBM). Diagnostic code B1560-13 (Cellular Antenna 1: Circuit Open or Short to Battery) has been documented on two separate dealer visits. On the most recent occurrence, the head unit displayed an Android Recovery boot loop screen preventing normal system operation. The vehicle is subject to open Safety Recall A7C / NHTSA 25V-710, which the manufacturer has classified as a loss-of-drive-power defect caused by incomplete communication between the TBM and Hybrid Control Processor (HCP). Safety risk: Per the manufacturer's own recall description, the HCP may reset while driving, causing loss of motive power without warning. This creates a crash risk for the driver, passengers, and surrounding vehicles. The Uconnect failures appear to be a symptom of the same TBM communication defect. First reported to dealer May 2025 at approximately 8,687 miles (RO DOCS917129). Dealer performed TBM2 reset per STAR bulletin S228A000005 and cleared codes. Same defect returned. Reported again June 2026 at approximately 24,969 miles (RO DOCS935140). Dealer documented the exact same code B1560-13, referenced the same STAR bulletin, and stated in writing: "The remedy for this condition is not currently available." My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is subject to FCA US Safety Recall A7C, NHTSA Campaign 25V710, for a software condition that may cause incomplete communication between the Telematics Box Module (TBM) and Hybrid Control Processor (HCP). According to the recall notice, the HCP may reset while driving, resulting in a loss of drive power without prior warning and increasing the risk of a crash. I received an Important Safety Recall notice from FCA US stating that a remedy is not currently available and that I must wait for a follow-up notice when the remedy becomes available. As a result, I am unable to have this safety recall repaired despite my willingness to do so. I have not experienced a crash, fire, injury, or known loss-of-drive-power incident. I am submitting this complaint because my vehicle remains subject to an unresolved safety recall for which FCA US has not made the final remedy available.

My Jeep has had a recall since December 2025. I initially went to Burgaw, NC Dealership where I Leased my Jeep, with no luck. I made appointment They did not have the part. I was told they would call when it is available. I checked in every month , no part. I called the recall line in the summer 2026 and they made me an appointment at National Dodge in Jacksonville, NCthe first week of August. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was told they could not accommodate my appointment because it takes 5 hours. Holdridge Greene made another appointment for me for the following week on [XXX]. He also said he would be able to put me in a car so I wouldn't miss another entire day of work. I showed up and was told they could not help me that day because there were no cars, but they would call and reschedule as soon as possible. It is now [XXX] and no contact has been made. I purchased my Jeep Wrangler 4xe on Sept. 27, 2025 thinking all battery issues were addressed by the manufacturer. Then a month later the 68C hybrid battery recall is issued. My hybrid battery passed the 68C recall on Dec. 22 at the dealership. Ensuing 78C and 21D recalls meant I couldn't park in my garage and charge my vehicle for weeks at a time. My electric motor would not start on Aug. 11. Check engine light on, electric mode unavailable and AC not working. Then the vehicle forced itself into park while reversing to be towed to the dealer and died in the street. These vehicles are dangerous because there is no warning when they stop working. They just stop - sometimes in traffic or the middle of the street. With 68C, we were led to believe that only some batteries would have issues and that the installed software would monitor battery health. What we began to see was the batteries were structurally deficient and ALL batteries would fail at some point. The software was designed to shut the vehicle down if it detected a fault. Post 68C recall, many owners experienced a decrease in the performance of their Jeeps as the internal computer sought to balance battery load. This meant we weren't getting the MPG advertised and promised. We also received a warranty extension of unlimited miles and unlimited years. BUT, the fine print says the battery will be replaced ONLY if the value of the vehicle is more than the cost to replace the battery. My jeep has lost $14,000 in value in l

On approximately 95% of my driving trips, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe suddenly and unpredictably loses acceleration or drive power. When I press the accelerator, the vehicle does not respond or accelerate normally. A warning then appears stating that electric mode is unavailable. After several seconds, the vehicle begins operating normally again. There is no apparent pattern, and this has occurred while traveling approximately 50 to 70 mph. The malfunction appears to involve the hybrid propulsion or power-control system. The vehicle is available for inspection. It is included in FCA Recall A7ululo:\/\/A nawe7Cl7C (NHTSA Campaign 25V-710), which concerns loss of drive power associated with an over-the-air software update. No remedy is currently available. This condition putssafety because I cannot rely on the Jeep to accelerate or maintain power when needed. At highway speeds, it could prevent me from responding to traffic, merging safely, or avoiding a hazard. I have stopped driving the Jeep on highways whenever possible and use back roads instead. The dealership has not yet reproduced or diagnosed this specific problem, although the symptoms are consistent with Recall A7C. The vehicle has received service for other recalls and is awaiting an engine replacement under a separate recall. Intermittent delayed/loss of acceleration when accelerator is depressed, along with abnormal switching between electric and gasoline propulsion. Symptoms began after recall 68C was performed. I was on all electric at the time going 40 mph when compressing the accelerated did not work and the car seemed to slow for a few seconds before it engaged. I have roughly 15,500 miles on the Jeep and got the 68C done last fall.

I left my home for work on XXX. I noticed a lack of propulsion upon stepping on the gas & air conditioning blowing warm air. At a stoplight ([XXX] and [XXX] in [XXX]), I attempted to restart the vehicle in hopes that a reset may fix any issues. What I found was that my vehicle would not restart and I could not remove it from park in a busy intersection. After 30 minutes of trying, I was able to get it to turn on and move to the Burger King parking lot. A tow truck arrived and took me to the [XXX] Valley Chysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer. They told me it would take until Tuesday XXX to look at it. They could not offer me a loaner nor a rental vehicle. They called on XXX and said it was a battery defect and may take weeks to repair. To date, my vehicle with 27,000 miles have been in for four separate recalls, citing lack of propulsion, risk of battery fire. Zero accidents. I no longer feel safe driving the vehicle after recalls: "the 2.0 engine may be contaminated with sand from the casting process ... leading to catastrophic engine failure." The car does not ride properly...it stops suddenly, it jolts, it vibrates, the battery sounds like it is overworking or overheating. Our plug-in charger caught fire and when we found out there was a recall on the battery we brought it to Jeep and they told us it's fine. But, it's not fine. It completely stalled while driving this morning and feels like it's going to blow up. I no longer feel safe driving it as it keeps jolting, stopping and feeling like it's going to explode.

Vehicle engine light comes on and says loss of power restart engine. Dealer found no codes and no repairs were made. This is the second occurrence.

Driving the vehicle and it had uncontrolled acceleration. The wipers went on and multiple lights went on, engine, brakes to name a few. The brake peddle did work. Picture below was after incident and not all the lights.

My year 2024 jeep had severe "death wobble" when driving over 60mph just over a minor bump, and it was over the horizontal metal rails on a long bridge. Dealership just replaced the steering damper, the car still loses control over small bumps when driving over 60mph. It's really scary when the bump happens at a curve on freeway. The dealership refuses to look over any other possible causes but to charge me $200 for tire balancing. My car has never taken the off road and never hit anything before. My previous 2009 jeep NEVER had death wobble issues with normal driving.

On August 26, 2026, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, with approximately 32,000 miles, experienced a sudden loss of power while my family and I were driving. The vehicle lost power in an intersection, creating a serious safety hazard with surrounding traffic. We were stranded until help arrived, and the vehicle had to be towed because it would not restart. Before the loss of power, the A/C stopped blowing cold air. The check-engine light came on, dashboard components and warning indicators began flashing, the battery warning light appeared, and a “Service Charging System” warning was displayed. This was not simply an inconvenience. The sudden loss of power left us unable to move the vehicle in an intersection and created a significant risk of being struck by another vehicle, potentially causing serious injury or death. I am a military veteran, and this incident caused a severe stress and trauma response because I believed my family's safety and my life were in danger. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate whether this incident is related to a safety defect involving the charging system, electrical system, hybrid propulsion system, battery system, power electronics, software, or another component capable of causing sudden loss of motive power. My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE plug-in hybrid had the 68C recall performed at a Jeep Dealer. My vehicle was working flawlessly prior to this recall. After the recall was performed, the vehicle hybrid battery system now loses power when accelerating. For example, driving 45 MPH in electric mode on a level road for a minute causes the speed to reduce regardless of acceleration, with the exception of flooring the accelerator pedal which causes a surge of power from the gas engine, causing the vehicle to lurch forward. This creates an unsafe condition on the roadway as the vehicle cannot be reliably controlled. Often times now, the gas engine will surge when a vehicle is in front of me causing me to have to brake suddenly to avoid a collision. This problem persists with every drive under variable conditions. There are no warning lamps or messages besides, "electric mode temporarily unavailable," before it surges. The dealer has not re-inspected the vehicle since the service advisor told me after the recall, the vehicle will continuously assess the battery. He further stated if even the slightest problem is detected, the vehicle will shut down completely and I would need to get the vehicle towed. I find this recall solution to be totally unacceptable and unsafe for myself, my family, and other vehicles on the roadway. This situation needs to be investigated and Jeep should make this right for its customers.

In June 2026 the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe power shut down along with service engine light in two seperate instances while my son was driving at highway speed. I made the dealership aware and had the vehichle checked out. They said nothing wrong with vehichle. On July 25 2026 I was driving vehichle on highway and cruise control came on by itself along with service engine light. I had no power to accelerate. I had to pull over and shut car down before proceeding. I brought the vehichle to Paul Bailey dealership and they grounded the car on 8/7/2026 when Stellantis agreed to pay for a rental car.
