Defect. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Pilot, and 2024 HR-V, Acura Integra and Acura Integra Type S vehicles. The driver's seat cushion frame may not have been tightened properly, which can result in an unsecured seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

Risk. An unsecured driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the driver's seat cushion frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 6, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.

Risk. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is PJW.

Defect. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Accord and HR-V vehicles. The front seat belt pretensioners may be missing the rivet that secures the quick connector and wire plate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection," 209, "Seat Belt Assembles," and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk. A seat belt pretensioner missing a rivet will not properly restrain the occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt pretensioner assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 8, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are MG7 and NG5.

When traveling down a road the CMBS will detect an object at times in your path of travel. Other times for example I was traveling i95 North in the middle lane, car detected a vehicle to my left and then indicated the car was attempting to cut me off thus activating breaking system, there wasn't any vehicles to my left or right. There was vehicles directly behind me and to my far right lane. Such issues have happened multiple times, I've spoken to 3 different Honda dealerships regarding this matter, I've been unsuccessful in getting this dangerous issue resolved. I'm told the technician would have to replicate the issue, well this CMBS issues happens randomly without any prior warning.

The steering rack is clicking and clunking at low speed turns or even when the car is parked or still and you turn the wheel, any alignment that’s done to the car goes bad right away because the rack box is messed up, it has play and it vibrates the steering wheel when driving, I called the dealership and they won’t help me or fix the issue because there is no recall on the part but many other Honda owners are experiencing that same issue, the safety issue is that my steering wheel has play and it will turn at anytime, it’s been inspected and the rack is the issue, no warning lamps or messages.

1. The service center diagnosed the BCM as faulty. I do not have the faulty part available as it was replaced. Service center work notes: Vehicle no start confirmed, battery voltage is at 12.4V. Vehicle has message on dash to touch key to ignition start stop button, with no success. Proceeded to inspect all main fuses to under hood fuse box, found all fuses are good main 175 amp fuse is ok, along with all four multi fuses. Proceeded to follow troubleshooting for message displayed on dash, tested key fob for unlock and lock functions, tested start stop button functions with no issues. Checked fuses that power is at each supply pin, pin 1 on connector a has 12.2v and pin 18 12.3v. Used the ground from connector pin 51 while testing voltage on previous pins to confirm ground is good. It is suspected that bcm has a internal failure and will need to be checked with known good unit, reprogrammed and retest to confirm vehicle will start. 2. The car in the faulty condition had no noticeable difference from one with a low battery so I tried to jump start the vehicle per the owners manual. This put me at a significant fire risk of over charging the battery. 3. Unknown if the manufacturer, insurance or police inspected it. 4. No warning lamps prior to failure. Dash was entirely blank other than aforementioned instruction about the key fob.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at 10 MPH, an abnormal sound was heard while turning the steering wheel to make a turn. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where a diagnostic evaluation revealed that the steering rack had failed and required replacement. The contact stated that the failure was a known issue. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.

The vehicle repeatedly has creaking, sticky steering/issues with steering, and clunking sounds when driving. Sound is more prominent at low speeds and when cornering. The vehicle's steering rack has already been replaced twice within 3 years. The vehicle is model year 2024, and to have an unrepaired defect like this is ridiculous. This is a major safety issue for vehicle operation, and it appears that replacement parts carry the same design defect. The problem (defective steering rack due to worm gear swelling) has already been identified and reproduced by two different Honda dealers. There are no warning lamps, messages, or codes thrown by the vehicle. The symptoms include the obvious noises and the abnormal steering feel.

The steering gear/rack on my 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid has failed twice. The original rack was replaced under warranty at 36,330 miles (January 2026). At approximately 41,000 miles I returned to the dealer reporting the same symptoms, but it was not diagnosed. At 51,849 miles (XXX) the dealer, Ocean Honda of [XXX], confirmed the replacement rack is failing: the steering assist intermittently cuts out, and the wheel sticks when changing lanes at around 70 mph. The steering also makes noise. The dealer recommends replacing the steering gearbox (part 53620-30B-D01). This happens at highway speeds, and the sudden increase in steering effort creates a risk of losing control of the vehicle. The symptoms are similar to the excessive-friction steering gearbox defect Honda recalled on the 2022–2025 Civic, CR-V and HR-V, but the Accord is not included in that recall. When I go to start the vehicle, it takes multiple seconds to actually start. It continues to turn over and over before finally starting up. This happens 3-4 times a day depending on how often I drive. This also creates a bad gas fume, fuel smell. This doesn't seem like something that a 2024 Honda should experience. I am a new owner to the car and have not taken it to a certified Honda dealership. It was purchased used from a non-Honda dealership. I did reach out to the local Honda dealership though, asking if this is normal for the car to act like this. I am awaiting a response.

The drivers side mirror shifts backwards when when hitting 25-30 MPH and forward again when stopping. I have asked the dealer to look at it multiple times when I take the car in for service and the complaint seems to be ignored or skipped over. Anyone that has driven the car in my family has mentioned it and that it is very distracting. We have had the car two and a half years and it has done it ever since. When at home I have moved the mirror by hand with very little effort and it moves about 3/16 of an inch from all the way to the rear to all the way forward. I have even shown this to the service advisor at the dealer.

Roughly a month or two after purchasing my 2024 Honda accord hybrid sport, I noticed a chirping noise when driving and a slight steering problem. I took the car in, and they told me that it was the steering rack and they replaced it. About 4 months after that, I noticed that there was a slight steering issue, where I would be in a turn and the wheel would get stuck in that position slightly when turning. I ignored it for a bit, as I was busy with school. A few months went by and it got much worse, to the point where I could let go of the wheel and the car would maintain the wheel. It also pulls and can jerk the car randomly. I got an alignment thinking that would fix it, and that changed nothing. I took the vehicle back to the dealer and was notified that if it was the steering rack again, it would be past its part warranty, which is crazy because a steering rack shouldn’t need replaced in a year.

Attempted to turn car on and it did not turn on. It asked me to place my key fob on my “push to start” button. After doing this nothing happened. I went and grabbed my spare key fob and still it did nothing. Eventually got it towed in and dealer confirmed it was a bad body control module. There was no warning light or message prior to this

The vehicle is experiencing an immediate and severe safety hazard due to a total electrical and mechanical failure within the steering column assembly. The driver horn has stopped working entirely, leaving the vehicle with no way to audibly warn pedestrians or other drivers in an emergency. Additionally, all integrated steering wheel auxiliary controls and buttons are completely non-functional, which points to a failed clock spring/cable reel or an electrical short inside the steering column. This total system failure creates an unacceptably high risk of a collision and raises severe concerns regarding whether the driver's steering wheel airbag will properly deploy in an accident. The vehicle is currently un-driveable, legally unsafe to operate under state transit laws, and induces extreme driver anxiety. The vehicle has a pre-existing history of abnormal steering wheel noise and dashboard volume knob defects that were previously reported and serviced at an authorized Honda dealership during the factory warranty period. The defect has now returned in a catastrophic state. The vehicle is currently held at Twin City Honda (Port Arthur, TX) alongside four outstanding active federal safety campaigns, including Recall 25-090 (Integrated Control Module software update for module resets while driving) and Campaign 26-080 (PGM-FI update). Highest windshield wiper speed isn't nearly as fast as it should be. Even in a mild/moderate rainstorm the vehicle speed has to be slowed drastically to be able to drive safely because the windshield wipers aren't effectively wiping away the rain. In a mild rainstorm, speed of the car is maybe 40mph in which the wipers can somewhat keep up. But are practically useless at highway speeds 60mph+ even during light rainstorms, visibility is majorly decreased even on the highest windshield setting.

While driving home from work in my 2024 Honda Accord EX 1.5T, multiple warning lights suddenly came on on the dashboard. Shortly afterward, I began smelling a strong gasoline/fuel odor inside the passenger compartment. I stopped the vehicle and got out. I could also smell gasoline outside the vehicle. I opened the hood and the gasoline odor was still noticeable from the engine compartment. Because I was concerned about the safety of the vehicle, I went to the nearest O’Reilly Auto Parts and had the vehicle scanned. The diagnostic scan showed P0172 (Fuel System Too Rich, Bank 1), P0300 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire), P0301 (Cylinder 1 Misfire), P0302 (Cylinder 2 Misfire), and P0303 (Cylinder 3 Misfire). The vehicle had approximately 82,063 miles at the time. The gasoline odor inside and outside the vehicle is especially concerning because of the potential risk of a fuel leak and fire. I checked my VIN for recalls and no open recall is currently listed for my vehicle. I am reporting this incident because I believe the fuel odor, rich fuel condition, multiple misfires, and dashboard warning lights may represent a safety-related fuel-system problem that should be investigated.

Clicking and light ticking noise from the electric power steering (EPS) rack when turning the steering wheel, with the vehicle stationary or at low speed. No loss of steering control and no crash or injury. Repair history on this VIN for the same concern: the steering rack and pinion was replaced twice under the first owner (04/08/2024 at 5,566 miles and 05/21/2024 at 8,730 miles). The noise returned. I purchased the vehicle in November 2025. I have taken it in twice more. On Feb 2026, a Honda Field Technical Specialist verified the clicking noise from the EPS rack, found the EPS motor out of adjustment, and performed an adjustment. The noise returned within 2 months and is present now at 33,800 miles. Honda Tech Line Summary Article ATS30025 (March 20, 2026) covers this symptom on 2023 and later Accord, attributes it to insufficient clearance between the steering gearbox motor housing and the steering rack, describes the available procedure as a temporary solution that may not resolve the issue, and states that a permanent countermeasure is still being developed. American Honda has told me no permanent repair exists and would make no commitment beyond a possible future recall. The Accord was not included in recall 24V-744, which covered the steering gearbox on other Honda models. I am reporting this so the agency has data on the same component in the Accord.

On XXX i got an error on my vehicle's infotainment system saying "OTA update error code TT04. Update Unavailable, see your dealer". I went to my dealer at AutoNation Honda O'Hare Service Center, address [XXX]. The vehicle's software was updated and the system reset was performed on XXX. The error code didnt go away. On XXX, about 8:30 a.m., in clear, sunny weather, I was turning my 2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid into a marked parking space. My foot was off the accelerator; I applied light brake pressure while the vehicle moved under 5 mph. Without warning, it suddenly and spontaneously accelerated at high speed. Within seconds it drove over a concrete parking stop, traveled through dense landscaping, and collided into a palm tree that prevented it moving forward. I immediately powered it off. The airbag did not deploy; no warning message preceded the acceleration. Before repair, Germain Honda scanned the vehicle; May 28 invoice the Shop Foreman and a Honda District Parts & Service Manager inspected it. The report’s Page 1 checklist all items marked green "Satisfactory" and no damage noted in vehicle diagrams. This is not reconciled with the packet's Lighting "NG" and B1036 results or estimates documenting a shattered right headlamp. The invoice attributes many codes to headlight/bumper impact but identifies neither the codes nor the basis. Native HDS data was not provided. Subject of Complaint: Sudden, simultaneous failure of critical safety and driver assist systems originating from an electronic sensor/control module failure inside the electronic power steering (EPS) gearbox. Description of Safety Hazard and Dashboard Indicators: While operating the vehicle, the Driver Information Interface (DII) suddenly illuminated with multiple critical safety faults simultaneously. The primary indicator was the amber Electric Power Steering (EPS) System Problem warning light (steering wheel icon with an exclamation point). Due to the electronic architecture of the vehicle, the loss of reliable data from the steering gearbox caused a cascading failure across the Honda Sensing safety suite. The dashboard displayed a sequence of distinct system errors, explicitly disabling: Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) Problem Road Departure Mitigation System Problem Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Problem Safety Risk to Occupants: The unexpected failure of the EPS system immediately compromised the vehicle's handling characteristics, significantly increasing the steering effort required to control the vehicle. Furthermore, the simultaneous and total disabling of the Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, and Adaptive Cruise Control systems unexpectedly stripped away active crash-avoidance features. This sudden degradation of vehicle control and driver-assist capabilities creates an immediate, severe collision hazard on public roadways.

Car lost power while driving and came to a slow stop, was unable to accelerate. This was dangerous and I was on a relatively busy street will a small shoulder. Car made no noises or gave any warnings prior to this issue. Car engine was eventually able to powered back on, engine light now shows, along with power system light

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the electronic power steering seized, and the vehicle became difficult to maneuver. The contact depressed the brake pedal and stopped the vehicle. The vehicle failed to return to normal operation. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the electronic power steering module had malfunctioned and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 79,000.

Apparently a very well known issue, I've had my car for 17 months and the software error see dealer had been on every time I start my car for the past 14 of them. And sometimes when I'm driving. Took it to the dealer, as the screen prompts, they said they reset it, turned it on, and there it was. Don't think they even did anything, except maybe waste my hour and a half and then try to sell me services. I know there is a known issue with the software on this model shutting down the vehicle whilst driving, I sure hope that isn't the case with mine. I'll try to take it back to the dealership, but like I said, they either didn't know, couldn't fix it, or just wanted me to get new brakes the first time I was there, and I'd really rather make sure that it gets done correctly if I bring it back. The vehicle's infotainment system displays an OTA software update error message on every startup. Honda dealerships are unable to address this issue without further intervention and software updates from Honda corporate. Dealer has stated that this issue may interfere with reliable over-the-air software updates, including any potential safety-related updates delivered through this OTA system.

When driving on highway the car displayed multiple warning messages on dashboard including electronic power system light, lane keeping assist system problem, TPMS system problem, etc. Mileage was 22380miles. I bought the car May 2026. I drove it for around 1000miles. The next day the warnings disapeared.

On 6/19/2026, I had four new tires (Goodyear Eagle Touring, size 235/40R19 96V) and a four-wheel alignment installed at an authorized Honda dealership. The post-service alignment printout showed the right front camber and left front caster remained out of specification both before and after the alignment was performed. I left the dealership at approximately 4:30 PM. At approximately 6:20 PM, while driving westbound on Interstate 10 at highway speed, the left front tire, one of the four tires installed roughly two hours earlier, suddenly blew out with no prior warning light or indication. Notably, the right front tire had triggered a TPMS warning earlier that day, which is what prompted the same-day tire replacement, but it was the left front, which gave no warning at all, that failed. The vehicle was safely maneuvered to the shoulder to avoid a collision with other vehicles. California Highway Patrol responded and later moved the failed tire after it was struck by passing vehicles, creating a hazard for other drivers. The tire itself was not recoverable due to the danger of retrieving debris from live traffic lanes, though photos were taken of the tire and wheel immediately following the incident. The vehicle's onboard tire repair kit could not be used because the vehicle is subject to open NHTSA recall 26V-366, confirmed incomplete on this vehicle. The engine vibrates/shutters when switching from electric to gas. It almost feels like the engine is going to fall out. I’ve taken it to two different Honda dealerships multiple times and since they can’t duplicate the issue while it’s there then they say there’s nothing they can do. The oil also looks and smells like gas.

The contact pulled over for 10 minutes, restarted the vehicle, and continued to drive to the residence. The local dealer was contacted, and a service appointment was scheduled. The windshield wiper nozzle that dispenses the wiper fluid is poorly designed. The passenger side nozzle shoots >50% of the fluid off my car and onto the guy in the lane to my right. The driver side nozzle barely gets any good cleaning effect on the driver side for the same reason - it shoots far to the right. Not only do I have to use way more fluid than necessary just to clean the windshield from debris or bugs, but I also don't get a *good* clean doing so. I don't feel entirely safe with the current implementation, and believe the system is greatly flawed.

The automated braking system engaged unexpectedly for the second time in 3 days. There were no cars in front, no cars parked on the side of the road. The vehicle was brought to a sudden stop with brake flashing on the dashboard. During both instances, there was a car being us that nearly rear ended us due to the unexpected braking.

I am formally reporting a catastrophic engine failure involving the 1.5L turbocharged engine in the current-generation Honda Accord. As a professional high-mileage driver, I am exposing a severe design defect that poses immediate safety risks. While driving on the highway, the vehicle suddenly exhibited severe engine shuddering, a sudden loss of acceleration, and a dashboard overheating warning. A certified Honda dealership inspection revealed a severe head gasket failure, confirming that engine coolant is actively leaking into cylinders 1 and 3, causing critical engine misfires. This is an inherent manufacturing defect, not normal wear. The engine runs under extremely high thermal pressures, and the factory head bolts fail to maintain a proper seal, allowing coolant to breach the combustion chamber. The safety implications are critical. A sudden loss of power and engine stalling at highway speeds forces drivers into high-risk emergency situations, drastically increasing the likelihood of collisions. Furthermore, the constant loss of coolant leads to sudden engine overheating, creating a severe fire hazard. This exact issue plagued the previous 10th-generation Accord, and it is now clear that Honda failed to implement a permanent engineering fix for the current generation. Representatives from Honda Corporate have explicitly acknowledged to me that a manufacturer recall for this exact engine defect is currently under internal consideration. My steering is a big issue. Yes it is available for inspection if only someone would actually listen and want to truly inspect my complaint. I have a 2024 honda accord ex with just over 18000 miles. I just got the car when it had 16390 miles , just bought it last month. The following day after purchase I went to work which requires me traveling on the interstate and I noticed it right away.. It doesnt know how to drive straight even when my hands are gripping the wheel with all i have in order to go straight while going 70 miles an hour. Any little adjustment i make, seems to over correct itself and any little change in pavement or uneven lanes or a small rock in the road will completely make my car bounce left and right im like a giant pingpong. Trust me EVERYDAY i am on the road i will look around and no cars will be near cause they are all trailing behind me afraid to pass me due to the inconsistent insane destructive driving of my car not me. Little due they know by now my hands are numb and im absolutely exhausted from gripping my steering wheel to prevent suddenly driving into the car beside me. Safety hazard is putting it nice. Its a death sentence that is insane to pay out of pocket for every month to have to endure what me and sooo many others are having to go through due to the negligence of another is pitiful and unacceptable.Shame on Honda for doing this to people who trusted and believed in you. In all honesty I pray that something is done immediately about this.

Bought this car, drove it home and realized when i drove slow, or stopped and turned wheel it made a clink/creeking noise. Took it to Honda where i bought it, they said it was the "power steering rack" which is known to have issues. told me it wasnt a safety issue and was safe to drive, they cannot replace it for free unless there is a recall. Looked up online and saw there was in fact recalls for this, just not my car. My 2024 only has 36k miles shouldnt already have issues with such low miles.

"A manufacturer Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware deployment has caused a root-level cryptographic security certificate mismatch between the Audio Unit and the central CAN Gateway, matching Honda Tech Line Article A29051. This network failure has forced the vehicle's VSP (Vehicle Sound Device for Pedestrians) Safety Module into a permanent hard offline (NG) state, operating the vehicle out of compliance with FMVSS No. 141. The manufacturer (American Honda Case #[Your Case Number]) and authorized dealership (Heritage Honda Parkville) have been provided video proof but have actively refused to schedule the vehicle for a high-priority warranty repair or issue a safe alternative loaner vehicle, leaving a safety defect active on public roads."

Brand new 2024 Honda Accord touring purchased on Oct.3, 2023. Started having issues with the braking system around June 18, 2024. I contacted Sons Honda where the car was purchased. Sons told me to contact American Honda. I contacted American Honda and we were in a back and forth conversation for 18 months. until they offered me $3000, which was not enough to start to fix the several other issues with the brand new car (lemon). Luckily, no accidents have happened yet. I would like to mediate with American Honda, NTSB, and myself for at least $6,000 , so I can start to have the vehicle repaired. Along with the other minor issues I have with the brand new car (lemon). The vehicle has a host of recalls that makes the car more unsafe to operate.

I am the owner of a 2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid. When driving at very low speeds, especially while parking or turning the steering wheel in tight maneuvers, the steering system produces a noticeable knocking and clunking noise. The noise can also be felt through the steering wheel. The vehicle was previously inspected by an authorized Honda dealer, and the steering gearbox (steering rack) was replaced under the factory warranty due to this issue. After approximately 20,000 miles, the exact same problem has returned. The condition is most noticeable at low speeds and during parking maneuvers when turning the steering wheel left or right. There are no warning lights or messages on the dashboard. The issue has been confirmed previously by a Honda dealer through the original warranty repair. Because the same steering-related problem has reappeared after replacement of a major steering component, I am concerned about the durability and safety of the steering system. I am submitting this complaint so that NHTSA can investigate whether the 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid may have a recurring defect in the steering gearbox or related steering components.

Steering rack was making an audible clicking noise when turning the wheel lock to lock regardless if in motion or stationary.

This is the 2nd steering rack and started to show failing signs similar to the original one that came with the vehicle from factory.

Honda put out a software update in March and found out Midway through that there was an issue with it so they stopped it on their end. My car unfortunately is experiencing an issue which the nhtsa apparently 23- 036, 044 and 045 I do not have systems updates menu I don't have a connection menu my car cannot receive a Wi-Fi signal or a Bluetooth signal it can only transmit a Bluetooth signal and Wi-Fi signal at this point. The car's been to Heritage Honda in Parkville Maryland twice I tried to take it back to the dealership where I bought it from actually, where it's leased from and still under warranty of course. Honda of Parkville said they did 23-044 and where it did clear the air that I was getting on my dash where it said systems update unavailable see dealer, I still do not have the connections menu and I don't have systems update menu the main apps menu on my display unit is missing the settings gear. The power/volume button of the display is supposed to do a soft reset if you hold the power button in for 10 seconds all attempts at the back door resets whether it be the display unit power button, doing the steering wheel buttons, pulling the TCU fuse and the audio backup fuse and I've even gone so far as to disconnect the battery for well over an hour all of this is ineffective at bringing those menus back. I even have access to an Autel Maxisys Ultra scan tool which can go in and reset the OTA module it can also perform Hondas updates via the j2534 pass through on its

The car makes a popping noise in the steering at very low speeds. When parked the suspension pops and cracks. I took the car to Honda and they said they do not have a fix. My car is almost out of warranty and it is defective with nonresolution. The escalated the concerns kept the car for 2 weeks and still no fix for the steering rack.

The recall 25V-785 software update fix was attempted multiple times by the dealer and it continued to fail. It did not work

The steering feels notchy or sticky around center when making small adjustments near the center of the wheel, even with LKAS off

The steering rack on the vehicle had failed and was inspected at the Honda dealership upon request. It causes a distraction, putting myself and others at risk. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by the dealer. The steering rack was refused to be replaced under warranty by Honda. There were no warning indicators or symptoms prior to the steering rack failure.

Steering wheel is clicking due to the steering rack malfunctions by the manufacture.

I bought the car with 0 miles on it. The first instance happened at 7000 miles. The steering rack failed again at 17000 miles, and the steering rack failed again at 48000 miles.\n First 2 times were replaced by the dealer under warranty. The third time they are choosing not to repair it. So I had to hire a lemon law, attorney they are currently an arbitration with Honda. I feel though as it is a safety hazard but I have to continue driving the vehicle as as I have no other means of transportation. I hope this issue is resolved ASAP there was no warning lamps coming on and there is currently no lamps on there r hundreds of other 11th generation Hondas that this is happening to some had to b replaced 2 times the r replacing the part with other defective parts

The steering rack makes noise and lots of Honda accord owners are complaining about this. The noise comes when stopped or driving slow it makes cracking noise when steering and when you are driving at highway speeds the steering doesn’t stay aligned. And unfortunately I have been hearing this noise for a long time since I got the car brand new but never took it serious and when I started realizing this is a major issue my car is out of warranty and I would have to pay out of pocket for a defective part

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, a software update became inoperable and failed to complete on the instrument panel and the connected mobile interface. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer informed the contact that the failure was related to a known hardware and server issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact expressed concerns that future software updates might also fail due to the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 7,200.

My Bluetooth would not connect to my infotainment system. My android auto then could not connect. I'm told by the honda service tech that from time to time when the system updates we would need to do a factory reset to align the latest update with the phone. That's what I did, and the screen came on but said contact dealership. The screen was blank otherwise and had no power to it, not radio no system information etc, so I had no access to anything. On the dash it says system update unavailable and to contact dealership. I took in the car but they are still trying to diagnose. one thing did flash on my screen, Code error variant 99

As I was driving, the automatic braking system engaged and there was no other vehicle or object in front of or beside me. The car behind me could have rear ended me.

I was going on the highway at around 65-70 mph and the road was clear. The Honda Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB/Collision Mitigation Braking System) activated and I couldn’t do anything, the brake was sudden and my speed decreased to almost 30mph. There were no cars behind me or it would have definitely been a fatal rear-end crash. The road was clear, there were no cars/object ahead of me on the road.
