Defect. Rollx Vans (Rollx) is recalling certain GMC Yukon, Sierra, Chevrolet Express 2500, Ford Transit, E-250, Toyota Sienna, Sienna Hybrid, Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Town and Country, Voyager, Pacifica, Dodge Grand Caravan, and Ram Promaster vehicles equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. Please refer to Rollx's recall report for specific model year information. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Risk. An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy. Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.

Defect. Vantage Mobility International, LLC (Vantage) is recalling certain Vantage-modified 2016-2019 Dodge Grand Caravan vehicles. The fuel pump gasket may deteriorate, allowing fuel to leak.

Risk. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Vantage will notify owners, and will provide parts and reimbursement to owners for repair facilities to replace the fuel tank gasket, free of charge. The recall began May 19, 2020. Owners may contact Vantage customer service at 1-800-488-9082.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan vehicles. The welds on the outboard rear seat strikers for the second row bench and second row bucket seats may fail during a front impact crash. The front outboard seat strikers for the third row bench seats may fail in the event of a rear impact crash. In addition, the second row bench and second row bucket seats may not withstand the required loads.

Risk. If the seat strikers fail, the seat or seat belt may not adequately restrain the occupant, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will weld in a striker reinforcement bracket on the second and third row outboard seat strikers, free of charge. The recall began December 19, 2019. Owners may contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is V91.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Dodge Grand Caravan and Jeep Compass, 2018 Dodge Journey, and 2019 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. The rear brake caliper pistons on these vehicles may have an insufficient coating causing gas pockets to form, potentially reducing rear brake performance.

Risk. A reduction of braking performance can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will bleed the vehicle's brake system, free of charge. The recall began September 29, 2018. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is U86.

About a month ago had an issue where the battery was drained completely. Couldn't unlock the van with the FOB, had to use the physical key to unlock the door. Was able to jump the battery and i started right up. Assumed that a over-head light was left on. Confirmed the battery was holding a charge, no issues with alternator. Had the same battery drain a couple of days later. Jumped the van again. Remove any devices from all the power outlets. The battery issue went away. 2 weeks ago noticed that the instrument cluster console appeared to be frozen. I tried to change the settings to view the trip counter. Turns out that none of the steering wheel buttons were working, except for the Cruise Contorl. The steering wheel horn is not working either. However the horn beeps when I use the FOB to lock the van. As it was at night time, noticed that the over-head interior lights are not working either. The lights in the doors are working. The vanity mirror lights are working. Checked the owners manual and online look-ups, found that the M20 fuse is responsible the following items (which are not working) - Instrument Cluster Interior Light, Switch Bank, Steering Column Module, Switch Steering Wheel Pulled the fuse and found that it was blown. With the van not running, replaced the fuse. And it blew immediately. Based on online searches, and some troubleshooting to help try and narrow the issue, it appears that the problem is the clockspring in the steering wheel. Based on information it

The vehicle has experienced repeated serious engine/cooling-system problems. It ran hot/overheated and would lose some power on even very slight inclines; when this occurred, the temperature gauge would rise. It never completely lost power or stalled. The vehicle developed an engine ticking noise that continues. An oil-pressure warning appeared, and the check-engine light repeatedly came on. In approximately March 2026, the engine failed and was replaced with a used engine reportedly having approximately 40,000 miles. Within approximately six months, the replacement engine developed additional oil-pressure/oil-system problems and continues to make a ticking noise. The vehicle has required substantial additional repairs. These problems create a safety concern because overheating, loss of power and possible engine failure could occur while driving and could leave the vehicle unable to safely maintain speed or operate normally in traffic. The problems have been diagnosed and repaired by independent automotive service facilities. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or an insurance representative. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The symptoms began after we purchased the vehicle used on September 2, 2023, at approximately 68,000 miles. It now has approximately 109,000 miles. We have limited driving to very short trips because of these ongoing concerns. I just started having this issue 3 days ago. When I put the car in reverse it does not directly go into drive. I have to go back to park to get the car back in drive. I put a brand new transmission in this car in 2024 and since I can only drive 45 miles per hour. When the drive or reverse does not light up in green, the camera in the back does not operate or show up at all.

Air Bag light stays on. Mechanic found defect in driver's side headrest. Part was ordered in February 2026, still waiting for the replacement part 6 months later. Dodge has no idea when the part will be available. Extremely HAZARDOUS driving condition, driving without air bag protection because Chrysler/Dodge doesn't have replacement parts. MINIVAN HAS SLIDING DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILURE, DRIVER SIDE. UNABLE TO OPEN SLIDING DOOR MANUALLY OR WITH POWER DOOR MOTOR. LOCK/UNLOCK LATCH IS STUCK IN LOCKED POSITION. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE IN CASE OF VEHICLE CRASH OR FIRE. EXACT SAME ISSUE WITH OLDER MODELS. CHRYSLER HAS ISSUED A WARRANTY BULLETIN (D-21-15) FOR FACTORY REPAIR OF THIS SAME ISSUE FOR 2015-2017 MODELS. THE EXACT SAME ACTUATORS ARE USED IN 2018 AND 2019 MODELS.

While driving my headrest popped forward and hit me in the back of the head.

Automatic sliding doors will not unlock or open at all- not manually, not with the inside door buttons, not with my key fob, and not with the automatic buttons on the front ceiling of the van. I have 3 young children all 5 and under. This is an EXTREMELY dangerous fault that puts all of their lives into danger! The inconvenience of a grown adult having to climb through the back hatch to lock her kids in is annoying yes but my concern is how I'm supposed to safely get to them if we were in an accident! My husband can not get to the kids at all as he is well over 6 foot and can not fit. I'm trying to get the dealership to fix the issue but they're telling me that there is no recall even though I thought I received something in the mail awhile back. The message that appears when we try to automatically open the door is that we should first unlock the doors to which we already have. The lock will not move when you manually try to unlock it either.

The torque converter(automatic transmission) began failing causing the vehicle to stall when at a traffic light in heavy city traffic allowing for the possibility of being struck by other vehicles because of a restart delay. The only way to bypass the issue we learned was to put the vehicle in neutral when stopping. This reduced the stalling incidents but created other issues in heavy stop and go traffic. The vehicle was inspected by a transmission shop and they confirmed that the transmission was failing and the torque converter was causing the issue. There are no warning lights for transmission failure in these vehicles. In fact you can’t even check fluid levels on these transmissions. Only technicians can. A transmission failure on a 7 year old vehicle under normal wear and tear (113,000 miles) is unacceptable and we had to spend 5000.00 for a new transmission in order to remedy the obvious safety issues. Before the repair, my wife managed the stalling issue at 50+ years old by using neutral in between braking so the vehicle wouldn’t stall but imagine a teenager or elderly person dealing with that. I do have receipts for the repair. There was one interstate fender bender. We could not avoid because of people looking at accident on the side of the road. My wife was unable to shift the vehicle into neutral to keep it from installing in traffic and we ended up hitting somebody from behind. Windows and doors buzz. The windows and doors will not open or will open very slowly. the alarm will go off. The only way to stop it is to disconnect the battery. Sliding door lock will not lock or will lock and not open.

The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission was slipping and made abnormal grinding sounds. There was no warning light illuminated. The driver pulled over and had the vehicle towed to the residence. The vehicle was later towed to an independent mechanic, who discovered that there was no transmission fluid inside the transmission. The mechanic replaced the transmission. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to report the failure to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was 120,211.

We purchased our 2019 Dodge Caravan July 31, 2022. We really like this Caravan and find it quite comfortable on long drives. Our transmission had a problem at 86,000 miles with a catastrophic transmission failure and we had the vehicle towed back to where it came from at IG Burton in Milford. Your repair shop replaced the old transmission with an OEM remanufactured transmission and provided a Three Year Mopar Warranty on Work order DTCS818344 Jan 21, 2024. It worked well for the next 26,000 miles. February 4, 2026 we experienced a problem after we made a right hand turn off Highway 404 onto Route 309. The transmission started racing and slowed down and it ran into limp mode. We brought it home 5 miles and got it into our driveway. We shifted it to neutral and then back to drive and it made a loud clunk noise and the whole car shook. The same thing happened in reverse when we pulled the car around to aim it out for the tow truck driver and at that point we turned the car off. When decided to try restarting it, the powertrain sounded normal. It shifted correctly, no problems and it was the same thing when the tow truck driver put it on his towing rig. The vehicle was towed to Fred Frederick Chrysler thinking it was a repeated transmission failure. The vehicle sat for two months and it was driven for 125mi and the mechanic said it could not repeat the same code it showed upon arrival. The initial code found was DTC PO755 2-4 solenoid circuit stored and not active. They released

The contact's husband owns a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at 20 MPH, the front, passenger side headrest deployed without warning. The contact, who was an occupant in the front, passenger seat, was hit in the neck by the headrest. The force of the deployment propelled the contact forward as she was secured by her seatbelt. The contact suffered pain in her neck and went to an urgent care facility the next day for treatment. The facility took an X-ray of her cervical spine and advised to make an appointment with her primary care doctor. The primary care doctor scheduled the contact for a CT scan of her brain and an MRI of her cervical spine. The tests showed damage to the contact's spine, and the contact was referred to an orthopedic physician for additional care. The dealer was notified of the failure, and the contact was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure, and the contact was given a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 137,600.

The contact stated that she had stopped the vehicle on the street on a slight incline with the front of the vehicle pointed up the incline and had shifted to park (P). The sliding doors and sometimed the trunk door on this van unlocl and szlf open randomly. I took it to a mechanic and they said that it is the actuator failing. Dodge knows that this is a problem and extended the warranty, but the dealership in south audtin is difficult to work with. THIS JUSTIFIED A FULL RECALL BECAUSE THE DOORS COULD JUST SELF OPEN WHENEVER AND SOMEONE COULD FLY OUT OF THE VAN

Engine loss of power, failure to accelerate, sudden forward lurch when stopped, Check engine light diagnosed by dealership and independent shop as Cylinder 2 failure. Purchased from Carvana 11/2024 with just over 70,000 miles on it. Currently has about 77,000. Cylinder head is currently being replaced at a cost of $6,500.00

The sliding door lock actuator froze there was an extended warranty on them for 10 years or 100,000 miles. Mine went out at 129,000

I went into the Dodge place for my routine oil change on 2/3/26. While waiting, it was discovered by a technician that I had a very bad oil leak. This is very alarming to me. One reason is, there were no signs that I had an oil leak. A few examples: my oil sensor light did not come on, no oil spots recognized on concrete, or no smell of possible oil burning. The Dodge automotive technician determined the cause to be my engine oil cooler. Engine oil leaked all over everything under the housing (can provide a video). Another reason this alarms me is that this particular part is not covered under my warranty. This is expensive to have repaired. Lastly, the technician stated to us that there are over 30,000 or more vehicles from the Chrysler/Dodge Corporation with this same part that people are having to have replaced, and in some cases, replace multiple times. In conclusion, this cheaply made part should be a recall in all of these vehicles. The engine oil cooler should be made of metal material.

I purchased this van from a used car lot in December of 2025. After driving it for a little over 2 weeks the check engine light came on. My mechanic did a computer check on it and it showed that the transmission is bad. Apparently, through much investigation work on my part, the warranty I paid for on the vehicle is “void” because the dealer that I purchased it from was well aware that it needed a transmission! They reset the computer according to what I was able to find out, and then sold it to me. It’s a 2019 model and for the transmission to be in need of replacement already, I’m questioning why! I’m surprised that no other owners have evidently had this issue. Please let me know if there have been other owners that have experienced transmission issues in this van. Thank You

My family and I were getting ready to leave the house and the passenger sliding door stopped working and is stuck in the locked position.

I went to lower the 2 bucket seats to load an item on the van and the seats won’t go down to stow.

2019 dodge caravan, have taken in for every oil change, we used manual to take in with mileage milestones, recently had tires on and a good look over before going on vacation. Transmission randomly failed us on freeway with 4 young children leaving us stranded.

The back up camera is inverted. It shows perfect on the screen. Just inverted. There is a known recall for other 2019 dodge vehicles for the same issue. NHTSA 25E052. How is the grand caravan not included in this. They are having the exact same issues.

So i purchased this van Oct 7.2025. From the day i took it. The doors and trunk going crazy openning on its own. Placing my kids and pets in danger. Alarm going off going crazy and locking our family in the van. Took up to 30 mins to get in and out. I had safe 2019 van soors werent electric never had this issue. Van just stopped in the middle of highway. I was almost hit by semi truck? I was so scared. I went into safeway. Last week. I came out all doors .trunk were open alarm .screamming. my dog was no where to be found. Thank God he had hid under the seat he was freaking out. Im so scared and nervous for our safety. Dealer showed me car faxx. I dont believe they knew about this. Claims it only happens with me but I do not velieve that. From the moment i took it. Wasnt working properly. Now asking me to pay for repairs i will never buy a used car ever again.

The contact later received notification of Warranty Extension Number: XV1 (Driver and Passenger Sliding Door Power Lock Actuators). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was advised that the repair was not covered because the vehicle had exceeded the required mileage. The current mileage was 130,234. The dealer referred the contact to the manufacturer, who informed the contact that assistance would not be provided because the vehicle had exceeded the required mileage, even though the contact had previously reported the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.

THE CAMERA FOR REVERSE IS NOT GOOD. IT DELAYS TO COME ON, AND SEVERAL TIMES, THE CAMERA COMES UPSIDE DOWN.

09/26/2024 Transmission had to be replaced at 47,000 miles. Without warning, the van began lurching forward at a stop light almost causing a collision and then completely stalled having to be towed to the shop. Luckily, I bought a service plan and only had to pay $100, but the parts list was $6,000+. Sliding rear doors have the electric assist option. On several occasions myself and my children have nearly been closed in the door as it malfunctions and randomly starts closing. Once I was getting my child out of the car seat when the door began closing on me, it did not stop closing as it met the resistance of my body. I have not had this issue serviced, as it is very intermittent. 10/28/2025 My driver's side headrest exploded. Thankfully no one was injured and I wasn't driving at the time. This could have caused a really dangerous situation had the vehicle been in motion. I was in the parking lot with nothing touching the headrest. Looking at the headrest there are jagged pieces of plastic that just crumbled to bits. Upon further investigation, this is a known issue with this type of vehicle, but it's not a recall. 70,000 miles. I'm waiting to see what the bill for this repair will be, but I'm concerned it is going to be replaced with the same malfunctioning equipment and I may not be so lucky next time this happens.

I have the oil changed regularly and keep all records and receipts. I've had the coolant and transmission fluid flushed, the thermostat changed twice, the coolant temperature sensor changed, the oil cooler changed and i checkmy transmission fluid regularly. My van was over heating frequently and no one could figure out why. I changed the coolant our and the temp. Sensor. It doesn't overheat now, but the heater quit working the day it was changed out. It hard shifts from 40 mph and up. Transmission fluid is good. I reset the power module by unhooking the battery for an hour. Still hard shifts . Scanner doesn't bring up any codes. 98,800 miles on it. Back sliding doors won't lock and tire sensor and radio dont work. What can I do? I cant afford a new transmission. The van was bought 2020 and for $19,000. I'm broke.

2019 Dodge Van GT when driving in about 2/3 gears(automatic trans.) was slipping and hesitating around August 2025. In July 2025 I decided to have the trans. Fluid and filter exchanged. The dealership was said it was on the schedule for it to be done. After that is when the problem started. Took back to dealership and they ran some tests and noticed the problem. The tech told me to drive it for a while that could be that the transmission needed to get use to the new fluid. It started getting worse. I took it to a transmission shop. They said the fluid was burnt and they needed to open the transmission to look closer. $1500 to check. They said they found issues. Total cost to repair/rebuild would be $6700. I thought it was a lot but it’s my main vehicle and needed it. The van has 92k miles and the transmission should not go out that soon. I’m filing a complaint because I believe the transmission should last longer than it did.

Passenger side sliding door is stuck in the locked position. Nothing I do will unlock it. The lock doesn't respond to any buttons either on the key fob or on the overhead panel. Also cannot be unlocked manually. It is my belief that this is a serious safety issue for rear passengers.

At 99500 the transmission went Kaputt! Repair man says metal shavings obstructed flow of fluid, through the filter, into the transmission, not allowing for running the car forward or backward. Very dangerous as we were driving down a highway when it just stopped working. Vehicle is only 6 years old. Why would this happen so soon?

Recently while leaving home my van started to make a type of noise. I cant quite describe it as it wasn't very whistling or clicking it was just an abnormal sound that it had not been making and I could hear it more when turning my wheel to the left. It started to jump while I drove. Like it was fine then would just jolt forward. When putting it in park I noticed that it wasn't making noise in the neutral position. But then when I was going to drive again it did not want to go forward. And at the first few tries I was able to reverse it. It did not want to accelerate and when I tried it would make a revving noise like if I was trying to race. I reversed and parked and my husband put some transmission fluid thinking that was the problem. The noise stopped and I was able to drive it briefly without the issues but then as I got further if started again and I had to get back home. It completely stopped accelerating and my husband and son had to push it. And once it got some speed j was able to accelerate just a little enough to drive it home. At home it stalled on me again and I was stuck in the middle of the street trying to reverse. Thats when my husband and son got back to push. It was a very scary situation as I had all my little children with me. And not only that it was so hot and we got stuck in the heat with the vehicle stalling. Now we had a mechanic look at if and they say it's the transmission. So I of course googled transmission problems to find there have been other

2019 Dodge Grand Caravan driver side seat restraint blow up while vehicle was on driveway and nodody inside. This was noticed next day 8/19/2025. This recall was effective for same vehicles year 2011 - 2018. The same head restraint is all Grand Caravan models 2019 - 2020. I want also years 2019 and 2020 Grand Caravan models included in recall. If this had happened while on driving the consequences might have been bad.

Transmission had a complete failure on July 24, 2025. There were no warning signs it was operating fine until that moment. Odometer 86,948. Had van towed to my mechanics shop where he diagnosed the problem. A new factory trans was ordered and installed at a cost of $6,316.23.

My wife drove to and from a doctor's appointment. When she went to leave the vehicle did a hard jolt and would not drive anymore. There was no indication or prior warning lights about the transmission. Had it towed to a shop. Did my research and between 2016 -2018 there was a known issue with power trains on the Dodge Grand Caravan.

Left sliding door latch is stuck in lock position. In case of emergency passengers (2 daughters) would be trapped inside. There is currently a class action lawsuit for previous models but it was only settled for 2017 and 2018 models. I was given a quote of $2000 from a dodge dealer to fix the issue when it is a clearly known faulty design/part.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving from a complete stop, the vehicle made an abnormal sound, hesitated while responding, and the transmission shifted hard. The contact stated that the failure recurred while driving at various speeds, and the vehicle felt like it was going to stall. The contact stated that while coming to a complete stop, the vehicle jerked, the transmission shifted hard and made an abnormal clunking sound. Additionally, the contact stated that the passenger's side sliding door automatic locking mechanism was inoperable, requiring the contact to manually unlock and lock the door with the interior door lever. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Driving on expressway with cruise control engaged, approx 76 mph. Cruise control would not disengage by braking, canceling or turning off system. I was able to brake with the cruise fighting to accelerate the vehicle. The brakes were smoking and smelled burning during the incident. Drove approx 1/4 - 1/2 mile braking like this in order to safely get over to the right lane and exit the expressway. I did not try to use neutral because I needed the power to keep speed to safely change lanes in heavy traffice to get out of the middle lane on expressway. Was able to shift to park and turn car off. When restarted to tow vehicle the cruise system was still engaged but it was only put in neutral (not drive) to get vehicle on the tow truck. Towed to dealership. No report back yet from dealership. So terrifying!!!

Drivers side sliding door lock started to make some noise occasionally and shortly after the door locked shut and will not and can not be opened manually or with the buttons. A few days afterwards the passenger door has started to make this same buzzing noise and we fear it will lock itself also like the drivers side not bing able to open with the buttons or manually. I know this is a major safety issue and should be addressed by not only myself, but the manufacturer. I have read this being a common issue among many dodge caravans and I feel actions should be taken place to correct this issue to the tune of at the very least, when there is a malfunction that the door should be able to be opened and closed manually. I contacted my local authorized dodge dealership and they told me extended warranty for this issue is for 10yrs/100,000 miles.
