Defect. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2018-2021, 2023 Acura TLX, 2019-2024 RDX, 2017-2020, 2022-2026 MDX, 2017-2021, 2023, 2025 Honda Ridgeline, 2017-2022 Pilot, 2019-2021 Passport, 2018-2026 Odyssey, 2019-2022 Insight, 2019-2021 HR-V, 2018-2020 Fit, 2020-2022 CR-V Hybrid, 2017-2022 CR-V, 2017-2018, 2021 Civic Type R, 2017-2021 Civic hatchback, 2016-2020 Civic coupe, 2016-2022 Civic, 2017-2022 Accord Hybrid, and 2016-2022 Accord vehicles. The front passenger seat weight sensor may crack and short circuit, which can cause the air bags to deploy unintentionally during a crash.

Risk. Air bags that deploy unintentionally during a crash increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the seat weight sensors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 7, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are BOL, WO9, OOA, WOM, XOH, NOC, POD, BOE, UOF, POB, EOG, AOI, QO8, TOJ, DO7, and SOK. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 24V064. The car stalls when driving in low speeds such as 5-6 mph. The happens at random points and the only clear indication that it will happen is when the car has a sudden jump. The car will run normally but once turned off and turned on after some time and driving it, it stalls completely. No warning light comes on and no codes have been successfully found. I have taken the car to the Honda mechanic about 5 times and in neither of those times have replaced parts fixed the issue. The car is a safety hazard for me and my family.

Vehicle experienced immediate severe engine stalling, power loss, and sudden total engine shut-off while moving in live traffic on the road following the execution of NHTSA Recall Campaign MGJ (Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Replacement). The engine stall occurs when mechanical and electrical loads engage, such as the AC compressor or cabin heater at idle and while driving. Diagnostic scan confirms permanent active codes P2187 (System Too Lean at Idle) and P0451 (Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Performance), indicating fuel starvation from the recalled fuel pump assembly under the rear seat. When the engine sputters or shuts off, an immediate electrical warning cascade triggers across multiple safety systems, including Brake Hold System Problem, Power Steering System (EPS) Problem, and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Problem. Authorized dealership (Joyce Honda) and American Honda Corporate (Case # 166-940-04) refuse to perform a zero-cost inspection and remediation without requiring out-of-pocket diagnostic fees, creating an extreme active road hazard. The steering wheel feels like it’s catching when I drive high at speeds, above 55. It also clicks and you can hear it when you turn it both ways.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving at 15 MPH, the vehicle independently accelerated. The brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to stop as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle was uncontrollable. The contact's vehicle rear-ended the vehicle in front. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. A Police report was filed. The contact later sustained pain in the lower right leg. The contact stated that the dealer did not provide a diagnostic report. In addition, the contact was informed that the vehicle was repaired, and the contact was requested to pick up the vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 100,500.

It was diagnosed by my mechanic as needing a new rack and pinion but my situation matches other safety reports made from what I've been reading about. The steering is very notchy, and jerky; especially, when I am steering to the left the wheel pulls and sticks. I have to jerk the wheel back a little bit to get it to go back to the 12:00 position. When I am driving on the highway I have to make little adjustments in order to keep the car where it's supposed to be, and although nothing has happened, thankfully, in terms of an accident, there have been a couple of moments where I really had to jerk the wheel in order to get it to stay in the lane and it was a really dangerous situation. The car has also been making horrible creaking noises that are similar to the other ones I have read about. No warning lights came on or have come on at all.

There is a problem with sticky steering that is a recall with newer models that seems to be the same with the 2019 models as well. However, they have not issued a recall with the 2019. Per searches on the internet, there a quite a few who have experienced this issue with the 2019 model as well. I have multiples of this vehicle in my family and 2 of them are having this issue currently.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 15 MPH into a parking lot on a hot day, a loud booming sound resembling a gunshot occurred upon depressing the brake pedal. No exterior damage was observed. Upon opening the trunk, the contact discovered plastic debris, screws, and springs from the trunk spring assembly. The dealer was contacted and advised that no recall coverage was available. The dealer stated that the failure might have been caused by hydraulic pressure. The required replacement parts were initially backordered but later became available. The contact found similar complaints regarding the issue and associated the failure with TSB Number: 22-013/A22-013. The manufacturer was notified by phone and filed a case; however, the manufacturer confirmed the repair was not covered under warranty or the TSB. The failure mileage was approximately 63,797.

I own a 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback LX that has experienced ongoing air conditioning system failures. Initially, the A/C would blow cold air at night or in cooler temperatures but struggled to provide adequate cooling during warmer weather. Over time, the problem became progressively worse until the A/C stopped producing cold air altogether. I brought my vehicle to an authorized Honda dealership, where the A/C system was inspected. The dealership identified issues involving components covered under Honda's extended A/C warranty and also diagnosed a leaking evaporator. Although Honda agreed to cover certain components under its warranty extension, the evaporator was excluded, leaving me with an estimated $3,000 repair expense. I also contacted Honda regarding goodwill assistance, but my request was denied. My concern is that multiple components within the same A/C system have experienced failures, and repairing the components covered under Honda's warranty does not fully resolve the problem when the evaporator is also leaking. After researching this issue, I found numerous reports from other Honda Civic owners experiencing similar A/C failures. Some owners have reported that even after having their A/C systems repaired, refrigerant leaks or other A/C failures return within approximately 3–4 years, resulting in repeated repairs and expenses. This is the third failure for my car in 3 month. Back driver valve stem sheared from the base on 9/24/26, Noticed after driving on the highway for two hours. The tire lost pressure while the vehicle was going 75mph. TPMS warning showed up as the tire lost pressure. Tire shop claimed no other failure reported to them.

Vehicle: 2019 Honda Civic (1.5L turbo), VIN [XXX] Mileage at failure: ~167,000 Component: Engine — head gasket Description: My 2019 Honda Civic with the 1.5L turbocharged engine suffered a blown head gasket, diagnosed by my Honda dealer. The car was purchased brand new from the same dealership. Symptoms were coolant loss with no visible external leak — coolant was leaking internally into the cylinders, causing misfires. This is a known defect with the 1.5L turbo engine affecting 2016–2021 Civics. Honda issued a warranty extension for this exact failure (10 years / 150,000 miles), which acknowledges the defect, but my vehicle was just over the mileage limit at 167,000 miles. There are several defective parts of the AC system that are well-known warranty covered parts that Honda has not replaced. I have taken the car to the dealership for Honda of Vacaville several times stating the issues of bad smells in vents and blowing hot air. They wanted to charge over $4,000 for repairs. I attempted to use my extended warranty and they scheduled me weeks in advance just to tell me the day of the appointment that they don’t have the part. It is an extreme health and safety issue since my [XXX] toddler son and I have had to drive without air conditioner for over 3 months now in over 100 degree Fahrenheit temperatures. Children’s bodies cannot handle this heat and I should not have to pocket the costs of a bad AC system that was never fixed in the right time. 1. Steering gearbox assembly failed. 2. Steering veers in lanes without assistance from driver and driver has to control vehicle with force to stay in center lane and release sticky steering. 3. Problem was reproduced and confirmed by two different independent NAPA certified service centers. 4. By manufacturer Honda dealer 5. No warning lights as the gearbox is mechanical, no warning lights prior or current to notify driver. Driver can only feel the sticky wheel symptoms while driving. At 74,000 miles on a 2019 Honda Civic Sport Sedan. Symptoms occurred driving at high speeds on highway. High safety risk to others and driver. I am filing a complaint due to excessive research on the symptoms of my steering gearbox. I have found that the 2022 and up models have the same symptoms as my 2019 is experiencing with sticky wheel. There needs to be a recall as it is negligent for Honda to not make sure people are safe when driving their cars. Steering is the main and most important component of a car and for Honda to not recognize this issue has been throughout their cars from 2017 due to a manufacturing flaw in the gearbox design. Consumers are paying 4-6000k to replace the gearbox assembly that Honda should have ultimately covered on 2017 models and up. Due to the high price out of pocket consumers are risking lives not getting it fixed because it is not affordable or recalled. Recall should be issued for 2017 civics and above not just 2022 and above. Please advise.

The air conditioner compressor failed on my car at about 85,000 miles. My mechanic told me that they are noticing many 2019-2022 Honda Civics with the exact same problem, with the A/C compressor failing at about the same mileage. My mechanic replaced the compressor with a new Honda compressor. The cost was about $2,700. I've attached the invoice. The failure of the A/C compressor is a threat to safety for the following reasons: Loss of Windshield Defrosting: If the windows fogged up and I could not clear them because the AC failed, this blocks my vision and is a direct safety hazard. Engine Stalling or Serpentine Belt Failure: If the compressor locked up (seized) and broke my car's belt, it could cause me to lose power steering, battery charging, or engine cooling while driving. Extreme Heat Risk: If the AC failed in extreme summer heat (which is exactly what happened to me - it failed in July and I was without A/C for more than 6 weeks in the summer) it would put vulnerable passengers (like children or elderly family members) at risk for their health. Given the testimony of my mechanic that this same failure is happening to many Civic owners (2019-2022) at about the same engine age, I'd like it considered whether a recall is appropriate.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic. The contact stated that after her daughter had shifted from reverse(R) to drive (D), the front passenger’s side air bag unexpectedly deployed without impact while the contact's boyfriend was in the front passenger’s seat. The failure caused the front driver’s side window to shatter. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The contact's daughter and her boyfriend both suffered from ringing in the ears, but no medical attention was received. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to call the insurance company for assistance. The insurance company was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not covered because the failure was caused by a manufacturing defect. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V332000 (Air Bags); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 175,754.

I was turning into a parking lot when the front passenger side airbag unexpectedly deployed. my entire windshield ended up cracking and my dash cam also broke bc it was on that side of the windshield. The car is still available to be inspected. My concern is that this happened when there was no impact and it could have happened when I was on the freeway and I also had a passenger in the passenger seat when it occurred so it could have severely hurt my passenger. The problem has not been confirmed by a dealer. It has not been inspected by anybody. There was no warning messages or symptoms prior to this occurring.

The vehicle is experiencing an ongoing issue with the steering box. There appears to be a problem with the steering mechanism where a magnet gets stuck while driving, causing the steering to bind and requiring constant left-and-right steering input to keep the vehicle properly aligned. The issue is especially noticeable and concerning at highway speeds, where the steering becomes difficult to control and requires frequent corrections. This appears to be the same recurring steering problem and should be thoroughly inspected and repaired for safety. My safety and the safety of others were put at risk because the steering issue causes the vehicle to require constant left-and-right corrections while driving. The problem is especially severe at highway speeds, when the steering can bind or feel as though it is getting stuck, making it difficult to maintain consistent control and stay safely within the lane. This creates a serious risk of losing control, drifting into another lane, or being unable to react quickly to traffic or road conditions, potentially putting myself, passengers, and other drivers at risk.

Honda Civics have a known Air Conditioning issues with an extended 10 year warranty on some parts including the A/C compressor seal and A/C Condenser. Other parts that may fail as a result of these two parts failing are no covered by the extended warranty. The A/C system on my Honda Civic failed in 2025 and additionally again in 2026. In 2025 the compressor was the issue and the system was repaired. Due to strain on the system while parts were failing, the A/C system failed a second time in 2026. The additional parts that may fail as a result to strain on the system while known parts are failing are not covered under Honda’s extended warranty or a recall. In 2026, I was told my compressor had failed. The compressor had failed from being overworked from leaked Freon in the system due to parts that failed that were covered under the warranty. This sort of repair should be covered by Honda and they should be held responsible for parts failing due to the known manufacturing issues. Failed A/C systems and downstream parts can pose safety risks during driving scenarios where windows need to be defogged or during heat waves that occur in warmer climates in the summer. If a part is failing due to strain from a part that has a known failure, it should be included in the warranty or a new recall by Honda.

While I was driving my 2019 Honda Civic Sport in active traffic, I suddenly lost control of the vehicle. The car starting jerking violently left to reach right and in a circle , causing me to be pulled and swayed across the freeway. The steering wheel became extremely loose and was spinning freely, and I was unable to control the direction the vehicle was traveling. The vehicle eventually swayed and carried me into the right lane gutter lane I was blessed to put the vehicle in park and come to a stop. This was extremely dangerous because I was surrounded by moving traffic and could not steer the vehicle to avoid other cars. I genuinely believed I could be seriously injured or killed. I am extremely fortunate that another vehicle did not strike me and my coworker who was in the passenger seat while my vehicle was moving uncontrollablly. This also happened to me in 2023 and I immediately swayed to right lane. The interaction was quicker because I was able to park into safety fast. Honda said nothing was wrong and never believed me. I can't drive this car. It will cause death.

Binding and sticking in the steering rack Rack and pinion rack needs to be replaced

When driving the vehicle at high speed, the steering wheel feels sticky or stiff.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact turned the steering wheel; however, the steering wheel was abnormally difficult to turn. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not associated with a recall related to the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. She was at Wendy's ([XXX]) drive-through when, all of a sudden, her airbag deployed. Hematoma on her chest and head, pain in her left hand, back, neck, and ribs, and stomach pain; her ears are buzzing, and difficulty breathing; heart disease and breast nodes. I was in a multi-directional wreck and the driver seat belt didn’t engage/lock holding me in place. I was able to move around enough that I broke the console and hit other areas that should have been out of reach if I had been held in my seat.

COMPONENT: Electric power steering (EPS) rack and pinion assembly. WHAT HAPPENED: The steering on my 2019 Civic EX binds and catches. Returning the wheel toward center after a left turn, the steering does not return smoothly — it hangs up, then releases suddenly, with an audible clicking noise. The condition is worse after the vehicle has been driven and has warmed up. It occurs at parking lot speeds and at highway speeds during small lane-keeping corrections. It is also reproducible with the vehicle stationary and the engine running. SAFETY RISK: When the steering binds, more force is required to move the wheel. When it releases, the wheel moves further than intended, causing overcorrection that must then be corrected back. On the highway this makes it difficult to hold a consistent lane position. There has been no warning lamp and no diagnostic trouble code at any point. CONFIRMED BY DEALER: An authorized Honda dealer reproduced the condition. Their technician documented that with the engine running and the wheel turned to full left lock, the wheel binds and will not return until physically touched. A master technician at the same dealer confirmed the binding and the clicking noise and identified the power steering rack as the failing component. While pulling into a parking lot at approximately 10–15 mph around sunset, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly engaged the brakes without any input from me. The abrupt braking caused all of my personal belongings inside the vehicle to be thrown forward. After pausing briefly to assess the situation, I cautiously applied light pressure to the accelerator. The vehicle responded, allowing me to slowly proceed and safely pull into a nearby parking space.

AC unit blows hot air only on the left side. Temp in IL is over 90 degrees F. Yes, it has been confirmed by the dealer, but they are saying they are not liable if I pay for them to conduct the service and they cannot fix it. No, but the manufacturer had issues with the a/c compressor and condenser and for this specific 2019 Honda Civic. Those were recently replaced, but now I am still having A/C issues. No warnings. It appeared June 9th. My husband and I bought the same exact vehicle at the same exact location on the same exact date and BOTH vehicles are having this same exact issue only one week apart. Mine occurred on 6/9/2026 and his first occurrence started 7/12/2026.

In June 2026, the HVAC system in my 2019 Honda Civic 2.0L failed because the evaporator core developed a premature leak or crack. AutoNation Honda O’Hare inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the evaporator core as the failed component. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This failure creates a serious visibility hazard. During rain and humid conditions, the windshield and side windows fog rapidly. Because the air-conditioning system can no longer adequately remove moisture from the cabin air, the defrost and defog functions do not clear the glass effectively. This can severely obstruct my view of the road, nearby vehicles, pedestrians, and other hazards while driving. I have also noticed a persistent chemical odor coming from the vents. Because the evaporator core is located inside the HVAC housing, I am concerned that refrigerant, compressor oil, or other HVAC residue may be entering the passenger compartment. This creates a potential exposure concern, especially when the vehicle is operated with the windows closed. I received no specific dashboard warning that the evaporator core was failing. The first noticeable symptoms were reduced cooling, ineffective windshield defogging, and the chemical odor from the vents. Honda has extended warranty coverage for certain air-conditioning condenser and compressor failures affecting this generation of Civic, but it does not cover the evaporator core. The biggest concern that I have is what I have learned is referred to as “Sticky steering” when I'm driving especially 55mph. It's almost like it catches or hangs up on something before making a small correction. The with the steering wheel doesn't settle back in the center of the lane as it should. It tends to drift toward the left side. I try and correct it but it's a constant back and forth fighting the steering wheel just to stay in my lane. I'm afraid not only is it seriously dangerous but it may appear as if I am driving erratically. It seems to be getting progressively worse. I must always have both hands on the wheel constantly making corrections just to keep the car within the lane I am in. On the same subject I have noticed is that there is a popping or clicking noise whenever I try and correct it or turn the wheel especially towards the right. I've searched for any recalls and discovered that it is a consistent issue with newer models. What I don't understand is why Honda hasn't addressed this if the problem is serious enough to issue a recall in the 2022 and 2023 civics why would they not investigate the same issues in earlier models such as my 2019. This is not just a inconvenience it is a major safety concern. I hope Honda will take this seriously before someone gets hurt.

My 2019 Honda Civic has been driven for only 35, 775 miles. The steering has become "sticky" or "notchy" and poses a safety risk since it seems to get stuck particularly when making left turns. The dealership's service center has diagnosed the problem as internal failure of the rack steering gearbox causing binding and stickiness in the steering feel. No warning messages were indicated. The problem was first noticed in late 2025. There have been numerous steering complaints reported by other 2019 Honda Civic owners, yet Honda has not issued a recall for this year and model. I have contacted the Honda Customer Service Center about this issue. I have been assigned a case manager and am waiting for a response to my request for compensation.

The Honda Sensing automated system suffered a phantom activation. It threw a visual brake warning, violently applied the brakes, and jerked the steering wheel causing a collision impact to other vehicles. This collision led to a major accident with an 18 wheeler and 6 additional cars. The car automated system has done this prior when there were no objects in front of the vehicle.

The component ive seen fail on multiple 2018, 2019, 2020, honda civics is the rear camera allows water into the camera lens area. And it becomes permanently foggy but the lens its self does fail. Becomes hazy and the haziness is on the inside of the lens protector this starts happening when the car is 4 to 5 years old.

In cool weather, below 70 degrees F, steering is responsive. Above 70 degrees F, there is a sticking in the steering wheel. If I turn the wheel to the left and attempt to straighten the wheel again, it sticks and releases with a pop/jerking. This is the same exact issue in NHTSA Campaign 24V-744 for 11th generation Honda Civics. While the root cause of the 11th-gen Civic issue was attributed to a bad manufacturing run from their supplier (Hitachi Astemo), the resulting physical behavior—a steering rack that binds up in temperatures above 70°F and requires manual force to "pop" free—presents the exact same highway safety hazard in my 10th-generation vehicle. This is concerning and makes the vehicle unsafe to drive as steering is unpredictable.

Honda has a current recall on eralier models of Honda Civics for sticking of steering wheel. Mine involves when I turn it to the left my steering wheel sticks. Mine is a 2019 and is doing this but no recall for my year and model 2019. I would like to complain because if it is doing it with ealier models please recall mine for service. I just paid it off I want to keep my car and would like for it to operate correctly it has been doing this for over a year now but recently it is worse. When driving, especially at high way speeds, steering feels stiff and will cause the steering wheel to jerk when making minor adjustments and when turning, the steering wheel sticks in the turning position.

While turning the steering wheel, I experience a sticky, resistant feeling that makes it difficult to steer smoothly. The wheel does not turn freely and produces a creaking noise during turns. This occurs regularly and affects my ability to control the vehicle safely. Issue is consistent with known EPS (Electric Power Steering) gearbox problems reported by other 2019 Honda Civic owners

Particularly at speeds above 40mph, steering has a tendency to stick so that in order to drive straight one has to dramatically and repeatedly overcorrect course by turning slightly left then slightly right then slightly left, etc. The safety impacts are obvious: rather than responding precisely and fluidly to the driver's directions, it responds approximately and encourages the application of greater force in the process of steering, causing the vehicle to rapidly alter course and to require course-correction. The vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer or independent service center. No warning lamps or messages attend this issue.

On June 17, 2026, at approximately 4:30PM, while driving to work for an event, my vehicle suddenly applied the emergency brakes right after a message appeared on my dash warning me to brake. There was no vehicle Infront of me that should have caused my car to brake so hard and suddenly. I have contacted the dealership and American Honda about the situation. I have read online reports of similar issues happening and i wanted to report it so i can make as many people as possible aware of the issue.

The vehicle has a steering issue where the steering wheel sticks and requires extra force to correct or adjust while driving. The issue occurs during normal driving at low speeds and highway speeds, and when turning left or right. The condition is present whether Lane Keeping Assist is turned on or off. There is also noise when turning the steering wheel side to side. The symptoms were first noticed around July 7, 2025. The vehicle was later brought to an authorized Honda dealership for steering rack inspection on or around November 28, 2025. The issue continued and the vehicle was inspected again by the authorized Honda dealership on May 18, 2026. The failed component appears to be the EPS steering rack / steering gearbox. The component should be available for inspection upon request. The issue creates a safety concern because the steering can stick while driving and requires additional effort to make steering corrections. This could affect the driver’s ability to maintain lane position or respond quickly during normal driving, highway driving, turning, or evasive maneuvers. The issue was confirmed by an authorized Honda dealership during the May 18, 2026 inspection. The dealership test drove the vehicle, verified the steering concern, and documented that the steering rack is binding and sticking and requires replacement. Honda ¨sticky steering ¨ EPS power steering is catching or stuck momentarily while driving straight on highway. This is a 2019 HONDA Civic LX Sedan that is experiencing the same symptoms as a similar recall that was issued for newer models in 2022 and 2023. This is a known manufacturing defect with the gears in the Electronic Power Steering gearbox that are sticking due to swelling and insufficient lubrication in gearbox. The dealership refuses to take any ownership of the issue and is recommending an almost 6000 dollar full replacement of the power steering rack.

The vehicle's smart entry door handle system was continuously drawing power even when the vehicle was off. This resulted in repeated battery drain and battery replacement (approximately 4 times). The ongoing electrical load also resulted in alternator failure. Once the issue was diagnosed (performed by the dealer), expense was required to resolve the parts. The issue caused repeated no-start conditions and reliability/safety concerns. This took a year to resolve and appears to be a common concern based off online posts. I am submitting this complaint now for documentation and potential reimbursement/recall creation as it is likely that others have had this same issue.

I am reporting a serious ongoing issue with my 2019 Honda Civic Sport involving the trunk repeatedly opening on its own both while driving and while parked. The issue is also causing the vehicle alarm to activate unexpectedly. The trunk has opened while the vehicle was in motion, creating a major safety concern. It also randomly opens while parked, sometimes triggering the alarm system for no apparent reason. The problem appears to happen intermittently but has become frequent enough that I no longer feel safe leaving the vehicle unattended or driving it normally. I attempted to clean the trunk latch area, but the issue continues. I believe there may be a malfunction involving the trunk latch, actuator, key fob system, electrical wiring, sensor, or alarm system. This situation is dangerous because the trunk can unexpectedly unlatch while driving, potentially blocking visibility or causing damage. The repeated alarm activations and trunk openings while parked are also causing concern about battery drain, security, and reliability. The contact owns a 2016 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that while parked and occupied in the vehicle, the contact noticed the trunk independently opens unintendedly causing the vehicle car alarm to engage. The contact mentioned this also happens while driving at various speeds. The contact also mention the trunk is open warning message illuminated. A independent mechanic or dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnosis. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 205,900.

Went to tysons honda in tysons, va to have service done and the recall completed - the gentleman that greeted me informed me that my vehicle doesnt apply to recall, only to newer vehicles. I thought they would have marked this completed or at least inspected the car. but i just received a notification of an open recall.
