Defect. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles equipped with a 6.2L V8 gas engine. The connecting rod and/or crankshaft engine components may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine damage and engine failure.

Risk. Engine failure increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect the engine, and as necessary, repair or replace the engine. For vehicles that pass inspection, dealers will add higher viscosity oil, install 6 oil fill cap, replace the oil filter, and update the owner's manual. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 18, 2025. The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has received 118 complaints alleging detachment of the upper grille deflector on 2022-2024 model year (MY) GMC Sierra vehicles. 21 of these 118 complaints allege that the upper grille deflector detached after Recall 25V-060 was performed. The contact owns a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the recall repair failed to prevent a failure from occurring after passing the PICO Test. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH, there was an abnormally loud metal clashing sound coming from under the hood. My truck has experienced recurring diagnostic trouble code P244B on [XXX], [XXX], and [XXX], 2026. The latest occurrence included a check-engine warning and reduced engine power. On [XXX], at 40,833 miles, Neil Huffman Chevrolet GMC in Frankfort, Kentucky, diagnosed a damaged diesel particulate filter differential-pressure sensor connector. The dealership's written estimate states that the connector had shorted, begun melting, and had broken wires at the back of the connector. I am concerned about the cause of the electrical overheating, the possibility of additional wiring damage, and the risk of unexpected reduced engine power while driving. I have also experienced intermittent transmission-related warnings and communication fault codes, although I do not know whether these problems are related. I understand there are GM technical bulletins addressing wiring-harness damage on certain 3.0L Duramax vehicles. I am not claiming these bulletins establish the cause of my failure, but I would appreciate having my experience evaluated for a possible safety-related defect trend. My 2024 L87 already had the recall done and was changed over to 0w40 oil. Driving down the road at 70 mph the engine just shut off and I had to coast to the side of the road. Checked engine codes and found p0016. Had to have the truck towed to the dealership where they replaced the engine. Clearly the 0w40 did not fix the problem.

My vehicle has the loss of propulsion recall 25V-274. It was in for service on 5-12-2025 with NO REMEDY YET on my paperwork. 8-6-2025 the truck was in for service and passed the test that would have required immediate engine replacement. As per the recall, I was given different oil as a remedy for a faulty engine. Despite passing the test, I still lost propulsion on 6-11-2026. I was traveling on the highway at night, crested a hill and noticed while coasting that the engine was not running and the dash said "hit the start button again." When I did this everything turned off including the lights. I was still traveling at 65 MPH without lights. Luckily I didn't panic and the lights came back on when I hit the start button again. Once the vehicle coasted to a stop; and I put it in park the motor restarted. This incident was reported on 6-14-2026, complaint number 1174-4867. When I submitted this complaint, I started that GM needs to make a change so hitting the start button when the engine has stalled doesn't turn the lights off. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, they had it for two months, put around 1000 miles on it and returned it to me with no repairs made because they couldn't reproduce the problem. They returned it to me on 7-29-2026. They did not to the engine. This form would only let me select one tire, but all four tires on our truck are like this. They have pretty severe cracking/tread degradation. The mileage is 25,687. This happened suddenly. We have our tires rotated every 3,000 miles. The tire size is 275/50/R22. This appears to be a manufacturer defect. Our truck is garage stored and all paved and highway miles. We have scheduled to have them replaced right away.

The top trim above the grille flew off at 70mph causing the vehicle behind me to swerve almost side swiping a vehicle in the center lane.

I was driving 65 MPH on a one lane highway, right when someone went by in the other lane. My front hood moulding (hood trim piece) flew off and hit my windshield. Then drug across the cab of the truck before landing in the road. This debris was now in the road causing other people to have to swerve to miss it. I turned around and put my hazards on and grabbed it from the middle of the road. This caused other motorists to stop in the roadway for me or go into the oncoming lane of traffic to go around me. The service center from the dealership I bought it at said I would have to bring it in for estimate and didn’t confirm if others have had this same issue. This happened one day ago and it has not been inspected by anyone. There was no warnings of any kind. I didn’t notice it shaking prior or anything, it just abruptly flew off.

Was driving down the highway at around 68mph in a 70. When the top portion of the front grill broke off, struck the windshield and landed in the roadway. Important thing to note was that I had struck nothing or nothing struck my vehicle. I now have to pay a body shop to replace the faulty part. Truck has been making a ticking noise for about the last four months. Yesterday, October 7, 2026 I stepped on the accelerator the engine paused a second and blew out gray smoke through my exhaust I saw in my rearview mirror. There is a delay in power from the time I put my foot on the accelerator when it actually gets moving faster.

Driving at approximately 45 mph on Berthod Pass in CO, towing a snowmobile flatbed trailer, when dash display indicated "low oil pressure, Turn off Engine". By the time I could read that, the engine was already off and I was all over the road trying to find a way to get off the highway. I did not have opportunity to get off highway, and ended up against a barrier, and partially remaining in traffic. GM towed the car (not the trailer, I had to do that myself) to a dealer quite some distance from my home as opposed to the dealer where I purchased the truck. Then they told me they towed it to a different dealer. After recovering my stuff, I went to the dealer where the truck was, and they said they couldn't look at it for several days. I could not wait several days simply to find out it was going to be a couple of months before id have the truck back. I traded it in on another, larger GMC simply to get out of that engine. What I learned though, is that GM used that exchange to make about $20K. This was more the dealer, but they are part of GM. My original truck was priced below book, and not the book the public can see, but the book they say they go by. They paid me $51K on an $87K truck for trade value. Then they sold the new truck at full price, no break. I was in disaster mode, as I had a large family gathering I was preparing for at our cabin, and did not have time to fight with them. The reason for the low book trade-in value was that the value of these trucks has plummeted

I bought my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X with 15000 miles, they did the recall, PICO test, changed oil type and put new oil cap on and at 30000 the engine had to be replaced.

At approximately 2 years, 47,000 miles I received a message that I needed to service the transmission soon. I then got a message "Trailer Brakes Disabled Service Required" and another "Service Transmission Now Unable to Shift Soon". I brought the vehicle into my closest GM dealer and they said it is a faulty shift control lever. These are known to have a fault from the factory, but since I am outside of the 36,000 bumper to bumper, they will not cover the cost. It took about 2 months for the part to come in as it was on back order, and now they want $1000 to replace it.

During the first visit, the dealer stated that a transmission error code was retrieved and was cleared before the vehicle was returned. During the second visit, the dealer stated that the engine was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil and recommended that the engine be replaced. The contact stated that the message "Reduce Acceleration - Drive with Care" was displayed, and the vehicle went into LIMP Mode. Occasionally, after shifting to drive(D), the engine revved but the vehicle failed to respond, and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. My 2024 gmc sierra 6.2 engine had th recall scope work done on the engine. I was told it passed and they changed the oil to the 0-40. Well apparently that was not the case and the bearings in the drive shaft and whatever holds it together broke.

I purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali VIN # [XXX] on XXX with approximately 18,599 miles on the vehicle. The incidents are identified below in order. 1) XXX, Vehicle engine failure while driving at high speeds, with my daughter as a witness. I Reported the incident to Elder Ford on XXX, and my sales associate told me to take it to GMC for factory warranty. XXX took the vehicle to Central Buick GMC they performed a test that found no codes and replaced the fuel Pump Module from past experiences. They let me take the vehicle home. 2) XXX Vehicle engine failure while driving at high speeds, had to get it towed to the dealer for repair. Again, they found no codes. Had it for 5 days. Made me take it home. 3) Picked it up on XXX , was driving home and the same thing happened while going 70+ mph on the interstate. Stalled again. Drove it back to the dealer and dropped it off again, same day on the XXX. 4) Again, they found no codes and made me pick it up on XXX I was driving home on XXX and the same thing happened- lost complete power while going down the road at 40+ MPH. 2024 Vehicle is part of the massive GMC 6.2L engine recall. The vehicle was called into the dealership on 1/6/2026 (10,437 Miles / 320.9 Engine Hours) for recall evaluation. Testing indicated vehicle was NOT a candidate for a new motor so oil and oil filter were changed to 0W-40 and I was sent on my way. Vehicle started a tapping noise at idle. Dealer advised the next week was the soonest I could be seen so I set up an appointment for Monday 8/31/2026 . I used the vehicle on Saturday [XXX] and while returning home it began making a racket emitting all types of terrible noises. I was only a few miles from the dealer so I limped into the dealship and left the vehicle on their lot. I spoke to the dealership on Monday 8/31/26 and was advised the vehicle would be evaluated later that day. I spoke to the dealership on Tuesday 9/1/26 and was advised the 6.2L engine had failed (13,591 miles) and parts had been ordered. Dealer advised it would probably be 6 - 8 weeks to get the truck returned. I am a trailer boater and also pull a trailer with a side by side. These activities are why I own a truck. Dealer advised I could get a loaner vehicle but that it was illegal to tow a trailer in Illinois with dealer plates. I ended up trading the vehicle for a new truck and suffered a large unplanned expense ( $20,537) as a result. The truck has shut off driving 5 times total and 3 different days, I was going down the interstate, and Hwy. Speeds were ranging from 45 to 70, this is the 3rd time in the shop. At two different dealers.

I own a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation. The front upper grille molding/trim has become loose and is separating from the vehicle. The attachment points/clips are no longer securely holding the molding in place. I am concerned that the molding could completely detach while driving, particularly at highway speeds, creating a road hazard for other motorists. The vehicle has not been involved in a collision or other event that would explain the failure. I have photographs documenting the loose molding and believe this is a potential safety defect that should be investigated.

I am reporting a catastrophic engine failure on my GM vehicle equipped with the 6.2L L87 V8 engine. This failure occurred AFTER the official recall remedy (Recall 25V-274/ GM Recall N242494000) was performed on my vehicle, which directly aligns with NHTSA's active investigation under Engineering Analysis EA26005. The recall service was completed by an authorized GM dealership on XXX at 22,489 miles, the vehicle had the L87 Engine Loss of Propulsion recall completed and the PICO L87 Diagnostic Testing was completed and passed with recommended updated oil change to Mobil 1 Supercar 0W-40 (19432866) quantity 8 with 12737081 Filter and Cap Changeout. On XXX, at 26,752 miles, the engine suffered a catastrophic total mechanical failure. While driving, the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of motive power and a complete shutdown with no prior warning of any kind while driving down [XXX] at approximately 45 to 50 MPH. This created an immediate safety hazard on a public roadway. The vehicle was towed to Key GMC in [XXX] where technicians confirmed Engine Seized Up. Spun connecting rod bearings at cylinder 7&8. The vehicle was at the dealership awaiting parts for repair for 65 days due to engine backorder (engine, radiator, starter, cooling lines and miscellaneous parts ultimately replaced). Because this failure occurred after GM's official remedy was implemented, the recall clearly failed to correct the underlying safety defect. I request that NHTSB include this incident in its ongoin

On 9-5-26 while on interstate 75 going about 75 miles per hour truck started losing propulsion and speed started dropping. No warning light or anything. Navigated over to shoulder turn truck off for about 5-10 minutes and started back. On 9-8-26 on the way from Dr. appt. starting truck up it acted like it didn't want to start but did. Eventually stopped at red light and truck died and wouldn't start. Dash board lighting up and when trying to start the engine would not turn over. No warning light or anything. Truck towed but had to drag on the wrecker due to wheels locked up. On 9-16 GMC advised engine fail and will need replacing at 12,000 miles. VERY UNACCEPTABLE FOR 2024. Truck was bought new in October 2023 with 4 miles. Found out it is a known issue with the 6.2 V8. Be careful. We could have been killed in the flow of traffic and truck losing power with no warning. Couldn't even turn hazard lights on or anything. 18 wheelers coming all around and we trying to navigate to safe spot on the shoulder when we was on the interstate. GMC need to get their stuff together, you are putting people lives is danger. GMC is feeling our anger right now. Who wants a new engine in a $90,000 top of the line truck

I was driving my truck and I had a sudden loss of power. The engine sounded like a rattle of bolts. It was towed to the dealership and they replaced the engine.

I did not have anyone tell me about recalls concerning my GMC SLT, when can I have what ever it takes to send me info concerning lifters, these have not had any issues yet. Will I have someone to contact me about possible lifter issue. Current miles are 18129. Thanks for your attention. MCG

As I was driving down the road, I heard a loud explosion. I looked around, didn't see anything that could've hit the truck. I thought it was possibly a gunshot that went off. After driving for another 3 or 4 minutes, I heard glass going everywhere. It was the moonroof that exploded. Thankfully, the sunroof cover was in the closed position. Otherwise, glass would've been all over the interior of the vehicle. I called the dealership to report the incident and to see if this was something that could be covered under warranty. I'm still waiting for a call back. I then called my insurance company to report what happened. I was told to seek a repair shop and collect all receipts for the claim. No warning lights have appeared in the vehicle yet. Since we were driving home from a vacation, we stopped and got a roll of vinyl sticker to cover the outside from rain.

While driving on the highway, i went to pass someone and there was a big shutter in the engine and then a load ticking noise from the engine after. All of the lights came on and the vehicle was running rough

While driving on a divided two lane state highway at approximately 60mph my vehicle suffered a catastrophic engine failure causing immediate loss of power in traffic at highway speeds. I had to negotiate highway traffic to steer the vehicle onto a narrow shoulder and continue under reduced power to a location where the vehicle could remain stopped safely. There were no warning signs and no warning lights prior to the issue. The vehicle was towed to Faulkner GMC where it was eventually inspected and determined to be an engine failure consistent with the open recall affecting GM 6.2 L87 V8 engines. A replacement engine was installed under warranty. Additionally, a defective tailgate switch was discovered and replaced. A prior unrelated incident had occurred where the tailgate switch activated on its own lowering my tailgate while the vehicle was in motion. The tailgate lowered onto the tongue jack of a trailer I was towing causing damage to the tailgate. This issue occurred multiple times throughout my ownership of the vehicle until the switch was replaced. GM acknowledged the switch was found to be defective but refused to take responsibility for the damage.

Lifters and camshaft failure, loud clanking, & sudden power loss on the 6.2 motor are the first noticeable signs. Instantly when everything happened check engine light, cruise control, & stabilizer lights flashed. The sudden loss of power forced the vehicle to suddenly slow down forcing my camper into the truck. I was hauling a within weight standerd camper but had difficulty bringing both the truck with the camper to a safe stop. There were no early signs or signal prior to sudden cautostrophic engine failure & all service records have been completed by a GM certified service dealer.

My vehicle has experienced repeated and unresolved electrical system failures and unexpected loss of power steering assist. The problem involves multiple warning lights, module communication faults, drivability issues, and simultaneous malfunctions affecting systems including power steering, traction control, transmission, four-wheel drive, and other electronic controls. Repair records, diagnostic information, and videos documenting the failures are available for inspection upon request. The most serious incident occurred on August 23, 2026, when the power steering failed unexpectedly while I was driving. The sudden loss of steering assist made the vehicle difficult to control and nearly resulted in a collision with an oncoming vehicle. The failure created a significant safety risk because it impaired my ability to safely steer and control the vehicle. The condition has occurred multiple times over several months and has resulted in repeated dealership visits. Repairs have included replacement an HVAC controller, but the failures have continued. The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by an authorized dealer, and the manufacturer has been notified through an open support case. As of the most recent repair visit, no confirmed root cause or permanent repair had been identified, and the dealership was still working with engineering support to diagnose the issue. The dealership inspected the vehicle for vibration and determined that it required an oil change and updated service manual to require 0W-40 oil. On June 21, 2026 the vehicle experienced an engine failure.

I purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine on XXX. The vehicle currently has approximately 25,000 miles. On XXX, the vehicle underwent the GM recall repair related to the 6.2L engine at Don Mealey Chevrolet. On XXX, approximately nine months after the recall repair, my family and I were traveling on the [XXX] with my two children inside the vehicle when the engine suddenly experienced a major failure. The vehicle became inoperable while we were traveling on the highway and had to be stopped and subsequently transported to Schumacher Buick GMC in [XXX]. The failure occurred unexpectedly while the vehicle was being operated normally. Having an engine failure while traveling on a major highway with my two children in the vehicle created a significant safety concern because of the potential for loss of power and the danger associated with becoming disabled in active highway traffic. GM has subsequently authorized replacement of the engine under warranty. The vehicle remains at the dealership awaiting completion of the engine replacement. I am reporting this failure because the vehicle had previously received the GM recall remedy for the 6.2L engine issue and subsequently experienced a major engine failure at only approximately 25,000 miles. The failure occurred approximately nine months after the recall repair. I am concerned that the previous recall remedy may not have adequately addressed the underlying condition associated with these 6.

My vehicle is under the L87 Recall from GM for engine failure. In September 2025 it was given the recall “fix”, different thicker oil. But on July 1 2026, my engine seized while I was driving 60 mph on the highway. GM has since replaced the entire engine and the radiator. But the “fix” obviously did not work.

I received a notice months ago for possible engine problems. my dealer checked it out and everything was good except for changing oil from 0W-20 to 0W-40. i was in Atlanta, GA on 8/26 and by the time i got home on 8/27, engine was knocking. I barely made it home. the dealer has had the truck since. they said i have to have a new engine. no idea when they will get one inn or when i will get my truck back. i opened a claim with GM (Case #108927907). GM basically offered no assistance, help, etc. i even tried to trade the truck back to my local GM dealership for another truck and they wouldn't offer enough on trade inn (says they wouldn't be able to sell it), GM Corporate wouldn't offer buy back, loyalty program money, etc. as they claim it's under a recall. I have never received anything about a recall for the engine. local Ford or Toyota dealerships will not even consider taking it in on a trade after new engine, says they cannot sell because of engine issue with 6.2L engine. so i'm stuck with a truck that i cannot sell or trade and is now worthless. I'm sure the new engine will fail as well.

Engine stopped working while driving 65 mph on I435 Kansas City. Engine failure had to pull over in 3 lane traffic to get off of roadway. Engine just stopped working. Had towed to GM dealer who performed full engine replacement. 6.2 L . No warning. Just stopped working. Safety traveling on 3 land highway engine stopped with no warning had to work way over the shoulder with no engine.

After the initial recall inspection was performed, I was informed that my vehicle was not affected. Subsequently, the vehicle experienced a catastrophic engine failure while traveling westbound on [XXX] near [XXX], approximately one mile from [XXX]. While traveling at highway speed, the vehicle suddenly began losing speed and power. I was positioned between two semi-trucks, creating an extremely dangerous situation. At first, I looked to see if I was traveling uphill because of the unexpected loss of speed. I then pressed the accelerator in an attempt to maintain highway speed. The vehicle abruptly downshifted and the engine RPM increased dramatically. Immediately afterward, warnings appeared on the instrument cluster, including “Engine Oil Temperature High” and instructions to pull over and allow the vehicle to cool down. The vehicle continued to lose power, creating a serious risk of collision due to the surrounding highway traffic. The vehicle was subsequently towed to Findlay GMC, where it was inspected and diagnosed with a failed engine. The engine was ultimately replaced. This failure occurred after the vehicle had been inspected under the recall and I had been advised that it was not affected. I am concerned that my vehicle may have been incorrectly excluded from the recall or that the recall does not adequately identify all affected vehicles. The sudden loss of propulsion at highway speed presented a significant safety risk and warrants further investigation. INFORMAT

On 06/26/26, I was driving my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 with 6.2 engine (Aug. 2024 engine build date) with 27,614 miles down the highway at 60-65mph and my RPMs started jumping and I lost engine power and received this P0016 error message. I was able to coast off the highway at the next exit but this put me and my family at risk. Once I was able to coast into a parking lot, my truck wouldn't start anymore. My dealer picked up my truck and the engine was on backorder and then was replaced and I got the truck back on 08/21/26.

10/01/25: Vehicle brought to dealership for the 6.2L Engine Loss of Propulsion Recall. Engine Passed the Pico vibration test. Oil was changed from 0W-20 to 0W-40. Mileage was 29K. 06/17/26: Engine Seized at 43K miles. Was travelling 50 MPH up a Mtn Pass. Barely had enough momentum to roll to the right shoulder out of traffic. 07/07/26: New motor installed. Back to 0W/20 oil. Since ownership, I have to on a regular basis reset the Collison Warning from Seat Vibration to Beeps. It appears to reset back from Beeps to Seat Vibration every time there is an over the air software update. It might even just randomly reset. I cant tell for sure. I recently had a small backing accident were I was expecting the Beeps to alert me. I mentioned this to my auto insurance company. They told me this was not the first time they have heard of this type of situation.

On 8/31/2026 at approximately 2330 hours I was driving my 6.2L Sierra home. I took a left hand turn and the engine stopped. This happened with zero warning. I attempted to restart the engine after coming to a stop and the starter clicked once and nothing happened. Had it towed to my dealership for service. I was told the engine seized and will need to be replaced. I went through the recall process earlier where I was told my engine passed inspection and the oil was replaced with heavier weight oil and I was told it was good to go.

I was driving home from family’s house 2 hrs away and got home late. When I got home I noticed the upper front grille assembly or top chrome trim piece for the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate flew off at some point while driving. That could have caused an accident for others and myself but luckily no one is harmed.

I purchased a new 2024 GMC Sierra. I brought it to the dealer for the engine recall on the 6.2liter. It passed the inspection and the oil was changed to a heavier weight. After the recall was satisfied and the oil was changed to the heavier weight, around 45,000 miles, the engine failed at highway speeds while pulling a trailer and left my entire family stranded on the side of the highway; late at night. The engine completely failed and would not re-start. After researching the issue online and watching mechanics tear down these engines and suggest the problem, I believe that GMC has created great harm to the customers who've purchased the vehicles with 6.2L engines by allowing us to drive hundreds of thousands of "ticking time-bombs" across the country. Furthermore, it is absolutely infuriating to learn that problems clearly identifiable starting in 2021 were not addressed until a recall in April 2025. I strongly believe that G.M. has mishandled this information and put customers into vehicles that are verifiably unreliable and should correct the problem/take the hit to replace these faulty engines. !!TIMEBOMBS!! Driving at highway speed vehicle began making odd engine noises and then lost power, pulled over and power continued to diminish until vehicle was no longer operable.

I have a 2024 gmc 6.2 original motor blew up at 39,000 miles. Got a new motor installed it blew up at 44,000. Now they are about to install the third motor after it’s already had two of the same failure. Second failure broke down on the interstate were three lanes turned into one above a hill. It was very dangerous.

Engine started making clicking noises at highway speed.the vehicle lost power and was difficult to start. The 2024 gmc sierra was driven three blocks the a GM dealership and it was determined that the engine had failed. It took two months to complete the repair by replacing the engine with a rebuilt one

On 4/30/25- I took my truck to the dealership due to receiving a recall notice (engine propulsion) in the GM app. No codes camp up and got the all clear. Dealer did not change oil to 0/40 nor air filter. Advised GM had not provided the recommended oil yet On 10/06/25- the Engine propulsion fix was completed. Oil changed to 0/ w40. Engine module reprogramming completedNext. On 3/07/26- dropped off my Sierra truck at dealership. Ticking sound. Confirmed engine replacement was needed even after the oil viscosity change. 4/22/26- Replaced engine assembly, radiator, gaskets, hose, belt kit. At the time of the engine replacement, the truck had only 16,756 miles. As of 8/25/26, having an oil compression test completed as the replacement engine has been excessively burning oil. Needed the dealership to complete an official text for GM, but from checking the oil, the vehicle has short @ 1quart of oil every 1,000 miles.

At approximately 14,000 miles, the 6.2L V8 engine experienced a major failure due to a spun main bearing, which resulted in the complete replacement of the engine. The vehicle remained at the dealership for more than 60 days while the repair was completed. After receiving the vehicle back, it operated without any significant issues until approximately 30,000 miles, when the engine experienced another major failure. This second failure was attributed to the lifters, and the engine required substantial repairs and ultimately had to be rebuilt. Having two major engine failures before reaching 30,000 miles—first requiring a complete engine replacement and then requiring the replacement engine to be rebuilt—has raised serious concerns regarding the vehicle’s long-term reliability and durability.
