Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Flex, 2015 Explorer, Lincoln MKT, Lincoln MKZ, 2015-2016 C-Max, Escape, Taurus, 2016 Fusion, 2018-2019 Taurus, 2019 Lincoln MKT, Fiesta, and 2020 Mustang vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

Risk. A rearview camera that fails to properly display an image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on October 25, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase. Mustang owner notification letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SA9. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Taurus vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.

Risk. Door trim that detaches while driving can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will repair or replace the B-pillar trim as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 20, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S91.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2013-2018 Lincoln MKT and Ford Flex and Taurus vehicles with the Police Interceptor or SHO Performance Pack. The rear suspension toe links may fracture due to stress on the rear suspension.

Risk. A fractured rear toe link will cause a sudden change in vehicle handling and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear suspension toe links, free of charge. Remedy parts are not currently available. Owners were notified about the recall on March 3, 2020. A second notice will be mailed when remedy parts become available, which is currently expected to be the end of September 2020. The recall began October 28, 2020. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 or Lincoln customer service at 1-800-521-4140. Ford's number for this recall is 20S04.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2016 Ford Taurus, 2016-2017 Ford Flex, Lincoln MKT, 2017 Ford Explorer and Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility vehicles equipped with 3.5L GTDI engines. Improperly brazed turbocharger oil supply tubes may leak oil on engine components.

Risk. An oil leak, in the presence of an ignition source, increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace the turbocharger oil supply tubes, free of charge. The recall began on January 31, 2017. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 16S46.

The rear-view camera on my 2016 Ford Taurus Limited intermittently malfunctions when the vehicle is placed in reverse. The displayed image flickers and sometimes appears upside down/inverted. The vehicle also sometimes produces inappropriate warning beeps while reversing. There were no warning lamps or messages before the problem began. The malfunction makes the rear-view image unreliable and creates a safety risk while backing because the displayed image may not accurately represent what is behind the vehicle. I cannot safely rely on the camera to identify pedestrians, vehicles, or other obstacles. The problem has occurred repeatedly but has not yet been diagnosed or confirmed by a Ford dealer or independent repair facility. The vehicle and rear-view camera are available for inspection upon request. I am aware that NHTSA Recall 25V695 / Ford Recall 25SA9 concerns rear-view camera failures in certain 2015-2016 Ford Taurus vehicles. My vehicle exhibits similar symptoms, including an intermittent and inverted rear-view camera image. I have contacted Ford regarding the issue, and they are saying my VIN is not included. Yet, the defect is the same as what is described in the recall. I have escalated my customer service case at Ford.

I was informed that they still do not have the required parts and that no nearby Ford dealerships have them available. My vehicle is experiencing the exact safety defect described in the recall. When I shift into reverse, the rearview camera no longer displays an image. Instead, the screen turns completely blue, leaving me without a functioning backup camera. This is no longer a potential safety concern—it is an active failure that affects the safe operation of my vehicle when backing up. I am extremely concerned that a federally recognized safety recall remains unrepaired even though my vehicle is now exhibiting the recalled defect. Bushing of the driver side rear toe link (aka lateral link, toe arm, etc.) separated, causing the rest of the toe link to disconnect from the tire. Images are available but the original part has been taken by the mechanic. Bushing likely failed from corrosion, though this vehicle only spent 4 of its 10 years in a heavily salted environment. The toe link is also intended to last the life of the vehicle and is not mentioned in the recommended maintenance per the vehicle manual. After the toe link separated control of the vehicle was lost. This occurred at a low speed (~25 mph) in a residential area so there were no injuries or property damaged. Service center has confirmed toe link failure. The vehicle and component have not been inspected by any other party. There were no signs of issue prior to the failure. A previous mechanic had indicated that the toe link was seized and could not be adjusted for an alignment but did not recommend replacement. There was no abnormal tire wear or handling of the vehicle prior to the failure. Though this could have been prevented through maintenance, there were no indicators of a failure besides the seized bolt mentioned by the mechanic. May indicate a wider issue similar to Ford's previous toe link problems.

Rearview Camara assist works then quits and the duel heat only works on the driver's side and blows cold air on the passenger side and it smells like it's getting exhaust in the car ?but the fan motor is working fine and so does the AC!
