Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Flex vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.

Risk. Door trim that detaches while driving can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will repair or replace the B-pillar trim as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed December 17, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated March 2027. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB8. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on October 28, 2025.

The rearview camera may display a distorted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

Risk. A rearview camera that fails to properly display an image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on October 25, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase. Mustang owner notification letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SA9. Risk. A rearview camera that displays a blank or distorted image can reduce the drivers view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed January 22, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated March 2027. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S75.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018 Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX, 2019 Ford Flex, and Lincoln MKT vehicles. The power supply cables at the starter and the alternator may not have been properly secured, possibly resulting in an electrical arc.

Risk. An electrical arc can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the alternator and starter motor power supply cables to verify that they are properly secured, correcting them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began September 26, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18S25.

Recieved recall notice 24S25 / NHTSA 24V951XXX about defected rear view camera malfunction. I have had an ongoing issue with camera not operating correctly. I have made several calls to Ford dealership and continued to be told parts not available. Why issue a recall and after 20 months latter still no fix. I am sure if I paid to have camera fixed the parts would be available. Is there a date parts will be available. Please help. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time to provide a remedy for the recalls. The approximate failure mileage was 95,000.

My backup camera is not working intermittently or will display a grainy image or black and blue lines. Sometimes it will just be a black screen. Other models of my vehicle had the backup camera recalled but my dealer is saying my vin isn’t included in the recall.

Exterior b-pillar applique trim on front driver and passenger doors have ripped from the vehicle while driving. Driver side trim includes key code pad and wires. Dealer has no parts available and taking no appointments. Rear camera not working consistently. Dealer has no parts available and taking no appointments.

Getting on Interstate 35 at Bevington, Iowa and heard a noise at drivers side window and a piece of trim broke in 2 pieces, scared me and I pulled over on the Interstate to look and there was a piece hanging from some wires on drivers door

My backup camera is not working all the time, sometimes it comes on but more than not it doesn’t work, I contacted a Dealer and they said there is no solution for this issue.

My 2019 Ford Flex is experiencing a complete factory rearview backup camera failure. When I place the vehicle into reverse, the center display screen regularly goes completely blank/black or blue or severe image distortion or black with warning "camera is unavailable". This is now happening almost every time I drive the vehicle and started about eight months ago but is now getting more frequent. This failure eliminates my rearward line of sight, creating an immediate back-over crash risk and a severe pedestrian safety hazard. This vehicle is part of the model pool affected by the Ford Safety Recall 24S75 (NHTSA Campaign 24V951000) and the expanded 25SB8 camera recall. B pillar (keypad) on drivers side flew off on the highway and cracked in half, the lower part was still attached to the wiring harness. The upper part flew onto the roadway. I had to pull over and strap the lower part to the window/door frame and drive the rest of the way with my window down in hot weather for 60+ miles. This is part of a recall, but no remedy is currently available from Ford.
