Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row center and left-side seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk. An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 67D. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. The driver's side air bag may not be connected properly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk. A driver's side air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.

Remedy. Dealers secured the connectors for the air bag, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 08C.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Ram 1500 Classic vehicles equipped with heated trailer tow rearview mirrors. The mirror glass may detach from the driver's side heated trailer tow rearview mirror. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. Detached mirror glass can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the mirror glass, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 5, 2024. Owners may contact FCA Customer Service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 86B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. The turn signal self-canceling feature may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Turn signals that do not function properly may fail to indicate the driver's intention to change vehicle direction, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 23, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is A1B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019, 2021-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. Due to a software malfunction, the anti-lock brake system (ABS) control module may disable the electronic stability control system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."

Risk. Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the ABS control module software, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 10, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 26, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 85B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles. An insufficient weld in the transmission control unit can allow transmission fluid to leak on to electrical components, resulting in a loss of drive power or loss of park function.

Risk. A loss of drive power or a loss of park function increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the valve body and control unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expecting to be mailed July 26, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 63B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) (Stellantis) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Chrysler Pacifica, Ram 3500, Ram 3500 cab chassis, Ram 2500, Ram 4500 cab chassis, Ram 5500 cab chassis, 2023 Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a GVWR less than 10,000 lbs., and Chrysler Voyager vehicles. The steering column control module may not be welded properly, which can prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk. An air bag that does not deploy in a crash can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module, as necessary free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2024 through June 20, 2024. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Ram 1500 Classic, Ram 3500 Classic, 3500 Cab Chassis, 2023-2024 Ram 2500, 4500/5500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 3500 vehicles. The steering column control module may cause the high beams to activate when the turn signal is used or activate the turn signal when the high beams are used. In addition, the turn signal self-canceling feature may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Turn signals and/or high beams that do not function as intended may cause confusion or reduced visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the steering column control module (SCCM) software, and inspect and replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Ram 1500, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with GVWR less than 10,000 lbs., and 2022-2024 Ram 2500 vehicles. The radio software may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the radio software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 97A.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, and 2022-2023 Ram 1500 vehicles equipped with a 3.0L diesel engine. The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) may fail.

Risk. Fuel pump failure can result in an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the HPFP and replace additional fuel system components, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 17, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 01A.

The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 5 MPH and depressing the brake pedal to stop at a stop sign, the vehicle lost motive power. The SOS warning lights were illuminated momentarily. The contact attempted to turn off and restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to respond as intended. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was towed to the residence and then towed to the dealer the following day. The dealer diagnosed that the electrical console needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure had occurred twice. The approximate failure mileage was 33,000.

My 2023 Ram was previously inspected under Recall A1B and the recall was marked complete because the vehicle passed the inspection. The condition covered by the recall later developed, and the turn signal is no longer properly self-canceling. This creates a safety concern because a turn signal that remains activated after completing a turn can give other drivers incorrect information about the vehicle’s intended direction and increase the risk of a collision. The issue has been confirmed by the dealership, and the vehicle is scheduled for repair. The repair is being processed through my extended warranty, which requires me to pay a deductible. The vehicle can be made available for inspection if needed. To my knowledge, it has not been separately inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. My concern is that the vehicle passed the recall inspection and the recall was closed, but the same safety-related condition later occurred. I do not believe I should be responsible for a deductible for a condition covered by a federal safety recall. I am also concerned about inspection-only recall remedies in general. If a vehicle passes an inspection but the known safety defect later develops, the customer should not become financially responsible simply because the recall was previously marked complete.

The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 75 MPH, the cruise control became inoperable and failed to disengage as needed. No warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure caused the vehicle to fail to stop. The contact also stated that while the vehicle was parked, the vehicle to unintendedly accelerated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure by telephone, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

The vehicle developed a turn-signal malfunction in which the turn signal would not operate/cancel properly. An authorized Ram dealership inspected the vehicle and diagnosed a failed Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) that required replacement. The part was backordered for approximately four months. I was later advised to contact another authorized Ram dealership that had the part available, and I scheduled an appointment specifically to have the previously diagnosed SCCM issue repaired. After that appointment, I was advised by the service department that the issue had been fixed. Because I am a truck driver and can be away for four to five months at a time, I later discovered that the same turn-signal problem was still occurring. I contacted the dealership and reported that the problem had not been corrected. I was subsequently told I would need to pay approximately $150 for another diagnostic evaluation, which I declined because the problem had already been diagnosed and I had been told it was repaired. During a recent visit to the same dealership for a separate recall, I asked another service advisor to review the prior service visit. I was informed that their records did not show that the SCCM had been replaced or that the previously diagnosed problem had actually been repaired, despite my having been told at the earlier visit that it was fixed. I had to get a couple jump starts in one day. then got a diagnosis check it said u1267 then got battery check it said it wasn't charging, check engine light was one after awhile went off. y'all installed the standard battery instead of the agm battery in the ram torque. that's reason for other glitches as well heat an air control getting stuck etc. I had to buy the right battery. BATTERY TO EXPENSIVE NEW

While driving a 2023 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel (37,000 miles) at highway speeds while towing a load on an incline grade, the vehicle experienced a sudden, uncommanded drop into an aggressive "Limp Mode." The dashboard displayed a "Service Electronic Throttle" warning, and engine power was immediately and severely restricted. While I was able to safely move the vehicle over to the shoulder, the truck completely lost the power required to maintain highway speed, increase speed, or clear the incline grade. A diagnostic scan revealed code P00AF (Turbocharger Boost Control Module Performance). After sitting for several minutes the limp mode cleared and was able to drive off as normal, however the limp mode condition returned in only a few miles. Due to the hazard of driving significantly below the highway speed limit while towing, the code had to be manually cleared to temporarily restore throttle response and safely complete the drive. The vehicle is experiencing an intermittent electronic or mechanical breakdown within the boost control system that causes an unpredictable risk of sudden power loss during highway operation. This condition has presented on 3 separate occurrences throughout the Summer of 2026. Each time manually clearing the code makes the truck operate normally until the next intermittent occurrence.

After my warranty was up, my rear back up sensor stopped working. The camera still works but the warning sensor stopped and is giving me a warning on the dash.

Suspect faulty EPS module / rack and pinion. Was driving down the road, went to make a right turn and my steering wheel went stiff / hard, the "Power Steering Unavailable" light popped up on the dash, and I had to crank my wheel to the right as hard as I could to avoid scraping the person waiting to turn left in front of me! I ensured my battery has proper voltage, checked the fuse, and ensured power was going to the rack and pinion. I tried removing the negative cable on the battery to "reset" the system, but no change. I have seen multiple complaints and a class action suit from 2024 in the works. This is crazy!

The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed on several occasions, the 12-Volt battery had low voltage which failed to provide enough power for the display screen, the fuel system, and other electric features. The contact stated that the failure caused the vehicle to shut off and not be able to drive. The contact stated that the vehicle was jumpstarted, and the vehicle started. The battery was replaced; however, the battery replacement failed to fix the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not yet diagnosed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 127,150.

Recall remedy did not correct defect. Vehicle requires module replacement, not just reprogram. Original RO mileage in 53,874, out 53,874, failure mileage 53,883 — 9 miles post-repair. *Safety Risk:* Loss of ABS and Electronic Stability Control during braking — increased risk of skid/crash, especially in wet conditions. The truck has done this four times since 01/22/2026. While still moving slowly the truck will do this while going down the highway. One other safety issue was when I merged into traffic on the highway (You have to merge into the fast lane at this location) the truck wouldn't go past 4th gear approximately 40 mph with cars coming up on me at 70. All of these problems correct when I can get the truck restarted.

This vehicle was purchased used from Carvana, LLC on [date] with three open safety recalls unrepaired at time of sale: NHTSA #23V-799, #24V-754, and Campaign #48A. The vehicle was previously owned by a rental car company and was transferred at auction while these recalls were open, in apparent violation of 49 U.S.C. § 30120(i), which prohibits rental companies from selling vehicles with unremedied open recalls. Despite Carvana's own signed Recall Acknowledgment listing these recalls as open, their delivery agent verbally represented the recalls had been fixed. All three recalls remain unrepaired as of this filing

The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the seat belt, ABS, check engine, and other unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the messages “Service Transmission – Continue in D – Do Not Shift or Turn off Engine until You Reach a Desired Location”, "Service Power Steering", "Service Parking Brake", "Park Sense Temporary Unavailable", "Service Transmission – Continue in D”, and “Do Not Turn off Engine”, “No Buss” were displayed. Additionally, the windshield wipers activated inadvertently. The contact stated that on one occasion, while in the middle of traffic, the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and the contact attempted to turn off the vehicle by depressing the ON/OFF button, but the vehicle failed to turn off. After several attempts, the contact was able to turn off the vehicle. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle several times to reboot the vehicle. When the vehicle was restarted, the vehicle failed to accelerate. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an unknown issue with the wiring on the passenger’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred 1 year and 7 months later. The vehicle was taken to another dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the CAN-C network was offline, the OCM was the module taking the bus down, circuit D13 was at 0.37 volts instead of 2.7 volts, and D14 had 0 vol

Turn signal lever wouldn’t return to neutral position after completing a left turn. There was already a recall for this but my truck somehow passed inspection and so the component was never replaced. Since it ‘passed’ the recall was closed. I will have to pay out of pocket ($1,099) to replace. The component is the clock spring. According to dealer’s diagnosis: Air Bag - Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable: Clock Spring Not retracting turn signal lever back to position This assembly consists of a clock spring, which is a coil that retracts and expands inside its housing as the steering wheel turns. Its function is to maintain electrical continuity for all the components on the drivers airbag.

Driving down highway and the sunroof randomly exploded, glass fell on us in the truck. Nothing hit the sunroof or caused the explosion! Looking online this is a known issue due to issues with the tempered glass in sunroof.

My truck had safety recall 24V-729 done to fix a turn signal that will not shut off. Since the recall I have had to have the same problem fixed an additional two times. The dealership will not classify it under the recall and have charged me for the repairs. They say that it is not the SCCM, which the recall says is the issue. My problem is that the turn signal has been fixed 3 times total.

I had just gotten off work around 730 or 745 ish. Drove my truck with the windows down , a few miles down the street to this strip mall / store area i frequent . Got out of the truck went in the store and other establishment . Was inside for maybe 5 mins . The truck was certainly turned off, windows up. When i came back out to the truck i opened the door and it was full of smoke and the armrest / center storage bin was molten and so hot it had melted the two pieces . I had a couple bottles of water in the truck and was able to put it out but had burned my left hand in the process . Once i was sure it was extinguished i moved it away from parked cars to an empty lot to prevent anothe possible fire from damaging other vehicles . I then had it towed to Bob Caldwell on Morse road in Columbus Ohio. This was on Saturday july 11th . Still no adjuster put to the vehicle since filing my insurance claim. It’s Thursday July 16th now .

The back passenger window behind the driver shattered while I was in the vehicle. Window shattered from inside out no previous damage to the window , all of sudden it shattered. May daughter’s car seat is on that side luckily she was not hurt because she wasn’t in the vehicle at the time. But to think that she could have been because I was , I had just parked and the window directly behind me sounded like it exploded. RAM manufacturer does not want to take responsibility for this safety issue that is 100% a safety concern.

While driving the factory-installed (OEM) tonneau cover suddenly detached from the truck bed and flew off. This was a critical safety hazard that could have caused a major accident for vehicles trailing behind me. I had secured the latches properly, and this incident was caused by a mechanical or hardware failure of the factory parts, not by user error.

I loaded cargo into the truck bed, ensured that the tonneau cover was fully closed and securely latched, and began my drive. While on the road, the cover detached and flew off due to wind resistance. Fortunately, it landed on the grass, but it could have caused a major accident or severe injury to the vehicle driving behind me. This incident occurred just one month after leasing the vehicle from Stellantis, and the truck bed cover was a factory-installed OEM component that came directly with the vehicle. Following the incident, I requested a repair from Stellantis. While they performed the repair, they claimed that the driver had failed to properly secure the latches to avoid liability. However, I am certain that I locked the latches correctly. The physical evidence contradicts the manufacturer's claim: the clean fracture on the detached latch and the severe upward warping of the bed rails undeniably prove that the latches were fully engaged, and that this was a critical manufacturing defect where the components could not withstand highway-speed wind resistance. This poses a serious safety risk to other motorists.
