Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. A radio software error may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The radio software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 24, 2026. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row center and left-side seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Risk. An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 102, "Transmission Shift Position Sequence," 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems," 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment," 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems for Light Vehicles," 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems," 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System," and/or 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Risk. An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as gear selection and warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Jeep Wagoneer S, 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, Ram 5500 Cab Chassis, and 2026 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. Due to an improperly designed trailer tow module, the trailer lights may fail to illuminate and the trailer brakes may fail.

Risk. Trailer brake lights and turn signals that do not illuminate reduce visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, trailer brakes that fail increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the trailer tow module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning March 17, 2026. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 Ram Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument panel cluster display to be blank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems," 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems," and 102, "Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect."

Risk. An instrument panel display that does not show critical information, such as warning lights or gear selection, increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and update the instrument panel software or replace the instrument panel cluster, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025 Ram 1500 vehicles. A software error may cause an incorrect tire inflation pressure message to display on the instrument panel.

Risk. An incorrect tire pressure message may result in improperly inflated tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the instrument panel software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning April 24, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 30C.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025 Ram 1500 pickup trucks. Incorrect headlight module software may cause the headlights to become inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk. Inoperative headlights can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the headlight module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 6, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is D4B.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025 Ram 1500 vehicles. The front wheel hub encoder rings may be damaged, which can disable the electronic stability control system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."

Risk. Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the front wheel bearing hub assembly, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 97B.

After towing module recall completed, the trailer towing light comes On showing up on the dash board in yellow requesting setup, then fades off. Twice happened. Folding mirror required three depressions of folding mirror button to open. Back up camera fails and shows blue screen, no back up image. 5 times since Ownership. Downshift and up shift hard enough and jerky enough to break traction on icy roads in traffic. Winter is coming and this is a genuine safety concern. Pulling into parking spot very slowly truck went into park and applied brakes, no reason for this. Front sensors failed to operate when pull into into another park spot and only worked on restart. Both batteries failed and required replacement under warranty when truck was new with break in type miles. A/C locked up on infotainment center and could not turn off. Required three restarts. Rear view mirror has failed to dim several times. Numerous software issues and electrical. Stellantis should buy these trucks back, fix them right and then sell as used. I would like my hard earned money back on a new truck plagued with issues and is a safety hazard!

I received the notification for a recall on the car, took to a dealership for repair but the dealership said the recall repair is incomplete, remedy not yet available

In certain instances while breaking during the day and night the headlights flash on and off. This has happened several times during the day and twice at night while my family was in the truck.

2025 RAM 1500. This vehicle has the defect described in NHTSA Recall 26V-560 (FCA Recall 83D). Since delivery, the infotainment/radio system has frozen and rebooted itself roughly 6-7 times per week. On at least four occasions the system froze while the backup camera was in active use, leaving a frozen, inaccurate image on the display while the vehicle was moving. During one incident this nearly caused me to strike a pedestrian while the camera image was frozen. Additional infotainment failures include a sudden extremely loud audio noise that cannot be turned down until the unit reboots, the radio language spontaneously changing from English to Italian, and an intermittent "SOS Unavailable" warning indicating the emergency-calling system is not functioning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times (6/18/2025, 1/13/2026, and 6/12/2026) and each time the dealer stated they could not replicate the problem, including on 6/12/2026, during the period the manufacturer was investigating this exact defect. I have several videos of the frozen camera display during operation and a photo of the SOS warning. A driver relying on the backup camera cannot see what is behind the vehicle when the image freezes.

ADA Continuously fails at all road speeds and road/weather conditions. System will not consistently remain engaged. Some failure are intermittent other disable the system for extended periods of time. This has been occurring for 10 months. Triger event is suspected to be on or around time of PCM update 2 attempts to rectify with manufacture have resulted in nil change to system behaviour

Vehicle repeatedly has issues starting, This has previously been identified as an Aux Drain issue. Vehicle checked my OEM however consistently reoccurs. This is not a suitable remedy for a 2 year old, OEM maintained vehicle.

On August 5, 2026 while driving my 2025 Ram 1500 with the 3.0L Hurricane engine which has approximately 25,000 miles on it, I heard a metal on metal grinding sound as I accelerated from a traffic light at approximately 20mph. The "Service engine - see dealer" warning appeared and the truck then appeared to lose power. I received no overheating warning or message and was unaware the engine had overheated. The Ram dealership determined that the thermostat failed, causing the engine to overheat, resulting in a failed head gasket and warping the cylinder head and engine block. Stellantis authorized a complete engine replacement. I was not aware the engine was overheating because no overheating warning or message displayed. My safety concern is that the engine sustained severe overheating and internal damage without warning me it was overheating. The dealership advised that the turbos were visually inspected and appeared normal, but the cause of the metal on metal grinding sound has not been identified.

In February 2026, Stellantis issued an urgent safety recall (03D/26V-059) for trailer lighting and trailer brakes. To date, those parts have been unavailable at local dealerships here in the Phoenix, AZ, area. I have towed a trailer without lights at night because of this issue. If this issue is urgent (which I believe it is), then Stellantis needs to crank out the parts and get them to dealers soonest. Thank you.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V059000 (Exterior Lighting, Electrical System) and 26V495000 (Seat Belts); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The dealer was called several times, and the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was confirmed that the parts were on backorder. The contact had stopped using the functions or components that were under recall. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs.

Since the vehicle was brand new frequently, the transmitter loses communication with the key fob and you cannot start the vehicle. I have been stuck many times for hours trying to get it started. Took it to the dealer three times. They said there is no fix currently and that it's happening to a lot of customers.

While sitting at a red light, the truck will automatically shut off when I take my foot off the gas pedal. It has happened about 10 times over the last 6 months.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument panel went black. The contact stated that the failure had occurred during high outdoor temperatures. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.

My 2025 Ram 1500 equipped with the 3.0L High Output engine has experienced two separate incidents involving loss or severe reduction of electric power steering assist. The first incident occurred on August 23, 2026, while traveling at approximately 40 mph on a public roadway. The steering became extremely heavy, the odometer began flashing, and the check-engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to nearest Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram service department on August 24 and remained there until August 28. During that visit, the dealership determined that the main battery failed testing and replaced it. The auxiliary battery tested good. The dealership also completed RRT 25-143, RRT 25-237, and RRT 25-239, including several module inspections and software reprogramming procedures. The second incident occurred on August 29, 2026, less than approximately 36 hours after the vehicle was returned to me. At a speed of less than 10 mph, the check-engine light illuminated, the odometer began flashing, the engine shut off, and the vehicle again experienced loss/severe reduction of power steering assist. The vehicle was taken to the RAM dealership where it was purchased on August 31, 2026, for the recurring issue and is currently still at the dealership. At this time, I have not been provided a confirmed root cause or an estimated completion date. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the rear lights became inoperative. The message "No Trailer Lights" was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken back to the residence. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V059000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 29,053.

While operating the vehicle in heavy traffic (stop and go) conditions at about 10 mph the vehicle displayed an error message (STOP START RESET REQUIRED) shifted itself from DRIVE to PARK and applied the PARKING BRAKE uncommanded. Note that the auto stop start was in the ON position for several occurrences, but even with the automatic stop/start OFF the same anomaly occurred. These events happened during rush hour traffic on I95 in the express lanes as well as inside of an automatic car wash and during that instance it resulted on another vehicle striking mine from behind. To get the vehicle to move again required me to STOP the engine, switch to PARK, RESTART the engine and release the already applied parking brake.

While operating the vehicle inside of a car wash, with the transmission in Neutral and the engine at idle (car was propelling the vehicle) the dash chimed, showed an error message for STOP START REQUIRES RESET, shifted into park and set the parking brake uncommanded. This resulted in my vehicle being struck from behind by another vehicle inside of the car wash. The only remedy to get moving again was to STOP the engine, manually shit to PARK, restart, then release the parking brake.

I was driving 65 mph down a toll road with no other vehicle around when my sunroof exploded.

My vehicle has experienced a serious and extremely dangerous loss-of-propulsion condition on three separate occasions. The first time this happened, my RAM only had 4,513 miles on the odometer. I addressed this issue with my Carl Burger Dodge advisor in writing when I dropped it off and asked him to call me about it, but he never did. He also did not add anything I mentioned on my departure paperwork. He completely ignored this liability. While driving normally in DRIVE, the truck unexpectedly shifts out of gear and effectively goes into NEUTRAL without any input from me. The “P”/Park indicator flashes, the vehicle will no longer respond to accelerator input, and I lose the ability to accelerate. To recover the vehicle, I have had to bring it to a complete stop, shift into PARK, and then shift back into DRIVE before propulsion is restored. This is not a normal transmission shift or a minor drivability concern. The vehicle is unexpectedly losing the ability to accelerate while in motion. This creates a serious safety risk, particularly in traffic, while merging, crossing intersections, or traveling at highway speeds. The condition has occurred three separate times, and I have video documentation of one of the incidents. I have also identified other reported complaints involving 2025 Ram 1500 vehicles experiencing similar unexpected loss of propulsion, neutral/gear-selection problems, flashing gear indicators, and the need to stop the vehicle and reselect PARK and DRIVE. We have previously took in our RAM several times this year for issues related to recall B4C/NHTSA 25V-826. The CLUSTER keeps going blank and 12 inch screen freezes and goes blank, and does not work at different times, especially car play.
