Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2014-2017 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The front suspension upper knuckle joint may crack, which can result in suspension arm detachment.

Risk. Suspension arm detachment can cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect the front suspension knuckles and install a retaining bracket or replace the knuckle, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D019, N759, D041, and D027. This recall expands and replaces previous NHTSA recall number 24V840.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Range Rover and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and repaired under Recall 19V-392, however the repair may not have been completed properly. Due to a problem with the Keyless Vehicle Latching System (KV Latch), the doors may appear to be closed but may be unlatched.

Risk. Unlatched doors may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for any issues with the KV system, disabling the KV mechanisms if necessary, and update the KV Latch software, free of charge. The recall began November 30, 2020. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Land Rover's number for this recall is N476.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Ranger Rover and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport vehicles. Due to a problem with the Keyless Vehicle Latching System (KV Latch), the doors may appear to be closed but may be unlatched.

Risk. The unlatched door may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for any issues with the KV system, disabling the KV mechanisms if necessary, and update the KV Latch software, free of charge. The recall began July 18, 2019. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N335. Note: Vehicles in this recall were previously recalled under recall number 15V-385 and need to be remedied again.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2015 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured June 2, 2015, to June 11, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the second row seat back may not latch properly, especially in the center section.

Risk. In the event of a crash, if the seat back is not properly latched, the seat belt may not properly restrain the occupant, increasing their risk of injury.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the second row seat mechanism, replacing it as required, free of charge. The recall began on November 12, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P072.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 Range Rover vehicles manufactured July 26, 2012, to March 9, 2015, and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured February 18, 2013, to March 5, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the doors may unlatch unexpectedly when closed.

Risk. If a vehicle door unlatches, the distraction may increase the risk of a crash and/or a vehicle occupant may fall out of the vehicle if they are not wearing a seatbelt, increasing their risk of injury.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the keyless entry software, free of charge. The recall began August 6, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P068.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2015 Land Rover Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and LR4 vehicles manufactured January 6, 2015, to January 23, 2015. The affected vehicles have wheel lug nuts that may crack and detach from the wheel hub stud.

Risk. If one or more of the wheel lug nuts crack or detach from the wheel hub, the remaining lug nuts may be unable to keep the wheel secured to the vehicle. If the wheel detaches, loss of vehicle control would result, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace the wheel nuts with new wheel nuts, free of charge. The recall began March 23, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P056.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles manufactured August 23, 2012, to February 5, 2015, and 2014-2015 Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured June 16, 2013, to February 5, 2015. In the affected vehicles, a light weight adult front seat passenger may be improperly classified by the occupant classification system (OCS) and, as a result, the front seat passenger air bag may be disabled.

Risk. If the front passenger air bag is disabled during a vehicle crash, there is an increased risk of injury.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the OCS software, free of charge. The recall began April 9, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P059.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling one model year 2015 Range Rover Sport vehicle manufactured November 16, 2014, and one 2015 LR4 vehicle manufactured November 11, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the 3.0L V6 supercharged engines may have improperly torqued connecting rod bolts. As a result, the connecting rod may separate from the crankshaft and the engine may seize.

Risk. If the engine seizes there is an increased risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected engines, free of charge. The recall began February 27, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P055.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles manufactured August 16, 2012, to January 8, 2014, and 2014-2015 Land Rover Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured May 7, 2013, to February 12, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the brake vacuum hose may have been incorrectly routed allowing a hole to be worn ito it.

Risk. If a hole is worn into the brake vacuum hose, a complete loss of braking assistance could occur, lengthening the distance required to stop the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the brake vacuum hose and correctly route it, as necessary, free of charge. Any brake vacuum hose that is damaged will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began March 2, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. The gas tank shield on my 2015 Range Rover Sport appears to be severely rusted and corroded\. This shield is designed to support and protect the fuel tank, so significant corrosion could potentially compromise its structural integrity and create a safety concern if it is not repaired or replaced\. The shield also appears to be made from a material that is particularly susceptible to rust and corrosion\. Given its important role in supporting and protecting the fuel tank, I believe the condition of this component should be addressed promptly to prevent further deterioration and any potential safety issues\.

My insurance company notified me about Recall Campaign D019, and according to official NHTSA guidelines, where cracks are found, the front suspension knuckle must be replaced immediately at no charge. The dealership's local staff professionally inspected my vehicle and confirmed that the component is actively cracking. However, Land Rover Corporate has failed to provide a timely remedy for this specific recall, leaving me to drive an unsafe vehicle with a fractured suspension while claiming the repair procedure hasn't been released. This completely contradicts the manufacturer's safety obligations mandated by the NHTSA.

The vehicle was repaired, but the airbag failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer, where it was diagnosed that the driver's side airbag had a poor connection and needed to be repaired. It was unclear if the vehicle was repaired. The vehicle was taken to the residence and parked. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 48,734.

The local dealer was/was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was/was not made aware of the issue. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a crack in the upper knuckle joint. The contact was advised that the vehicle was safe to drive under certain conditions, avoid dirt roads, highways, freeways, going over 70 mph and towing a camping trailer. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V-514000 (Steering); however, the part for the repairs was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable timeframe for the remedy to be available. The contact stated that their husband informed them, and a certified mechanic inspected the vehicle after receiving the recall and noticed that the suspension knuckle had fractured. The vehicle had not been driven. The failure had occurred before and had been repaired at the expense of the contact. The dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the previous repairs were completed correctly and no cause for the failure occurring again was identified. After the failure occurred again and the recall notice was received by another dealer, Land Rover Lakeland, 2550 Interstate Dr, Lakeland, FL 33805, was contacted, and it was confirmed that there was no remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed the remedy was not available, and therefore, reimbursement could not be provided till there was a remedy. The failure mileage was approximately 109,000.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the failure of Land Rover and its authorized dealership network to complete Safety Recall D019 involving the front suspension knuckle crack on my 2015 Range Rover Sport. I received the official recall notice in September 2025. The recall concerns a serious safety defect involving the front suspension system, which presents a substantial risk of loss of vehicle control, crash, injury, or worse. Despite the seriousness of this defect and the passage of many months, the required repair has still not been completed. Since receiving the notice, I have repeatedly contacted the dealership from which I purchased the vehicle, as well as representatives associated with the manufacturer, seeking to schedule the repair. Each time, I have been met with delays, conflicting information, and excuses regarding parts availability. Most recently, I was informed that “tariffs” are allegedly responsible for the inability to provide the replacement parts. This explanation is unacceptable. Federal safety recalls are intended to protect consumers from dangerous defects, and manufacturers have a legal obligation to provide timely remedies once a recall has been issued. It is unreasonable and unsafe for consumers to continue operating vehicles subject to a known suspension defect for months without access to the necessary repair. Vehicle Information: Year/Make/Model: 2015 Range Rover Sport VIN: [XXX] Current Mileage: Approximately 127,000+ I purchased this vehicle in 2015 from Jaguar Land Rover Parsippany, New Jersey, and have consistently maintained it through authorized Jaguar Land Rover service providers. Since as early as 2017, I have reported recurring engine, throttle, and coolant-related issues. As documented in my prior complaint to Land Rover corporate dated April 2017, I raised concerns regarding service integrity and handling of my vehicle (Exhibit A). In September 2017, I reported that the vehicle would not accelerate properly, required restarting to function, and exhibited drive mode and throttle issues (Exhibit B). By 2021, Jaguar Land Rover Glen Cove service records confirmed coolant leakage from engine cross-over pipes, repeated low coolant warnings, and engine-related concerns requiring repair (Exhibit C). Additional diagnostics identified check engine light activation, restricted performance mode, and recommended repairs that were not resolved (Exhibit D). The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V514000 (Steering). The VIN was included in the recall. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and advised the contact that the failure was due to normal wear and tear. The failure mileage was approximately 91,000.

The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 86,000.

While inspecting my vehicle, I discovered a crack on the driver’s side steering knuckle. I’ve learned that NHTSA Recall 24V-840 was issued for this exact issue on full-size Range Rovers. However, the same problem has occurred on my Range Rover Sport (L494), in the identical location. The affected part numbers are LR146347 (front left) and LR146346 (front right), which match those referenced in the existing recall. This is a serious safety concern—I am currently unable to drive the vehicle due to the risk. I’ve attached two photos for reference. One clearly shows a linear crack near the bolt. In the other, you can see the factory-applied green alignment marker is now offset, further indicating a structural failure.
