I kept smelling a burnt plastic smell. Eventually my driver side rear door did not lock. Upon inspection of the wiring the wire harness from the door to the truck showed the wires on the truck side had burned/melted the sheathing off the wires and leaving them exposed and touching.

LT265/70R17, I received a recall notice from Amazon where I purchased a set of 4 tires. I only use these tires for winter driving and the notice states I should remove them immediately. They do not say for me to purchase new ones at the same time or if I will be reimbursed for any (all) cost. I still have around 70% of wear on them and am in the mid-winter season of McCall ID. I can't see any fault at this time and will keep trying to contact Prinx Chengshan Tire North America, INC. Notice: NHTSA CAMPAIGN # 24T014000.

2014 ford f250 super duty 6.7 diesel. Coming down mountain in Arizona (bumblebee pass) hit small bump. Truck began violently shaking in the “death wobble mode”. Later I was just driving on the freeway and hit a small bump at 70 mph (75 mph zone), again violent shaking that did not stop until I was driving 50 mph. Since I’m leaving on cross country trip soon, I opted to take vehicle to mechanic. It is there now. This is because there is no recall on 2014 ford for this issue and I don’t have weeks available to fight with ford. have learned today that this is very common across the county and has been reported to ford motor company but the company is denying their liability to fix this very dangerous issue! My vehicle symptoms are exactly what there have been numerous complaints about. I will be sending the bill to ford.

Death wobble at speeds greater than 46 mph. I have to come to a complete stop to make it stop. I almost got rear ended by a semi before I could get off the interstate on the shoulder. My vehicle is a 2014 but I have experienced this several times since I bought it new. Took it to my local ford dealer to see if they can do anything to fix it. It’s really dangerous when it happens on a busy interstate. The front end sounds like it’s coming apart and steering is impossible when it happens.

I have had this truck for 7 years and bought it with 35k. It now has 150k.This week ([XXX])I finally experienced the notorious “Death Wobble” at 60 mph in Atlanta, GA with my wife & daughter in the truck. This is a very scary situation when you’re going down the road with traffic behind you at 70 plus mph and the steering wheel starts shaking violently after going over a bump on the highway. I feared that we were going to be in an accident at that time. I was defenseless at that moment and in the middle lane of a major highway. I don’t understand how long this has to continue until a recall is considered or FORD is held liable for a problem they have been aware of going back as far as the 2011 model year. I would love for you to see the dash cam footage I have , so you could see what my family and I experienced. Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
