Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles. The engine compartment wiring harness may become damaged and short circuit.

Risk. A short circuit in the engine compartment can create heat or spark, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will install sheathing over the wiring, free of charge. This is a Phased campaign. Phase 1 will include 2026 Bronco Raptor notified owners on 7/31/2026. Risk. Excessive wear of the transmission and transfer case splines may result in a loss of drive power or vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.

Risk. A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The rearview camera image may still be displayed after a backing event has ended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview image that continues to be displayed after the vehicle is shifted out of reverse may distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles. The front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt.

Risk. A seat with a dislodged bolt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2026. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Lincoln MKC, 2016-2023 Explorer, 2019-2020 Fusion, 2019-2024 Ranger, 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair, Escape, 2021-2024 Bronco, Bronco Sport, and 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles. The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.

Risk. An electrical short circuit can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Owners are advised not to plug in their block heater until the vehicle is remedied. Dealers will replace the block heater, free of charge. Owners will also have a alternative option to replace engine block heater element with a threaded blanking plug, and remove the block heater electrical cord. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed December 3, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated December 2026. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150, and 2022 Expedition vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving.

Risk. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the low pressure fuel pump on super duty vehicles and update the powertrain control module (PCM) software on all other affected vehicles, free of charge. The engine intake valves may break while driving, which can result in engine failure and a loss of drive power.

The Tire and Loading Information (TREAD) label states the incorrect load carrying capacity, which can result in an overloaded vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

The first-row seat belt latch plates may be difficult to access from their stowed position. The transmission may contain a loose bolt which could prevent the transmission from engaging the park gear, although the gear shifter position may indicate that the vehicle has been shifted to "PARK."

Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a water leak from the a-pillar, overhead console/upfitter switches and/or sun visors

Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a repeat loss of window initialization which results in a loss of short drop and/or one-touch up and one-touch down feature operation. This may be due to a recent short drop enhancement that is contained in the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM) software.

The Hardtop on the back is starting to crack and I am afraid that a delamination may cause parts of the top to start flying off causing a road hazard.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V025000 (Suspension), 25V721000 (Seats), and NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V468000 (Engine, Electrical System); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.

The vehicle is a 2022 Ford Bronco two-door with a hardtop roof that was previously replaced under a recall due to a defected hardtop roof. After the replacement, I notice stress cracks and delamination around the rear side windows on both sides of the vehicle, including the top and bottom corners, with visible bubbling and separation of the roof material near those window edges. In addition, while driving, there is increased wind noise coming from the roof area, particularly around the T-top panels, which suggests they may not be sealing properly to the main roof. This appears to affect the integrity of the roof system and could be a safety concern if it worsens. I am not aware of a current recall number for this issue. The problem has not yet been confirmed by a dealer or service center. There were no warning messages before it was discovered. The component should be available for inspection if needed.

Broncos hard top is cracking and starting to delaminate which could easily cause an accident if this happens dealer said it was out of the 3 year period even though it’s garage kept and still under 26,000 miles ! Feel this should be a recall and addressed being as it’s still happening on new broncos

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). Upon contacting the dealer and the manufacturer recently, the contact was informed that the recall repair was previously completed. The contact stated that the vehicle was never serviced for the recall, and the failure remained present, causing the vehicle to lose power and to stall while driving. The failure mileage was 8,000.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to complete the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the vehicle shuddered on cold starts for up to 10 minutes, and the check engine warning light illuminated while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, where the check engine warning light was reset; however, the failure recurred. Additionally, messages indicating misfires and a reduced driving time were displayed on the Ford mobile app. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure by phone and confirmed that the remedy was unavailable. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000.

Steering assembly failure-Ford service garage diagnosed on 10/13/26. (lower steering shaft and seal). Vehicle was previously seen at the same garage on 10/2/26 and they were unable to reproduce the problem. The vehicle sat for a day or two, then drove fine for a day, but then it became very difficult to steer again, requiring great effort to turn. Vehicle was taken in on 10/9/26 and driven by shop foreman who confirmed there was an issue. This problem became apparent to us while driving on the interstate when it became extremely difficult to steer, nearly causing a collision. If lane assist is also active and a sudden steer is necessary, the combination of steering assembly problem and fighting the lane assist requires a tremendous amount of strength. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure

Cracking, delamination on top. Leaking near the front windshield when raining. Have saw recalls for these issues on certain models. Not sure why Ford didn't include these models in the recalls since it's doing the exact same thing. This is not a misused or mishandled issue, it is a manufactured defect. When attempting to accelerate from a stopped position to enter loop [XXX] in [XXX]. My vehicle experienced total loss of power due to failure of the low pressure fuel pump. This created a very dangerous situation as I was attempting to enter the highway from the access road. This event very nearly resulted in a crash that could have caused serious bodily injury or death to me. The vehicle was taken to the closest Ford dealership, Red McCombs Ford in [XXX]. The incident was described to the service representative and taken in for diagnosis. The next week, the service representative contacted me to tell me that they were able to replicate the issue in testing and that the low pressure fuel pump had experienced mechanical failure. They said, unfortunately Ford does not have an approved remedy available yet. I told them that I was aware that the failed part was indeed available and had found documented cases where Ford had chosen to approve replacing it for individuals experiencing the same problem. It isn’t a case of a replacement part being available, it is a case of Ford not wanting to replace the failed part and instead attempting to find a software fix that allows for preserving the life of the potentially defective part. However, this is not an acceptable solution once the part has already failed. Was driving on highway with cruise control set. Vehicle started slowing down, so pressed on gas pedal and no response from vehicle, had to navigate to shoulder and was unable to drive vehicle. No warning that there was any issue. Vehicle has been at dealership for a month. Low pressure fuel pump failure and no parts are available.

Clutch pedal went to floor and didn't return. The accumulator on part # MB3Z-7A512-A failed and broke apart causing a complete loss of brake fluid in the clutch hydraulic system rendering the clutch completely inoperable.

I am writing to formally complain about a serious and increasingly concerning problem with the hardtop on my 2022 Ford Bronce four-door. I began noticing cracks in the hardtop after becoming aware of numerous complaints from other Bronco owners regarding similar cracking problems. Once I knew what to look for, I inspected my Bronco and noticed cracks in the hardtop. I promptly brought the issue to the attention of my Ford dealership. Unfortunately, I was told that the vehicle had just passed the time limit of the factory warranty, even though it was well within the mileage limit of the warranty. I find it extremely frustrating that Ford’s position appears to be based on the calendar expiration of the warranty when this is a known problem (defect) that has been reported by numerous Bronco owners. More importantly, the condition of the hardtop has deteriorated significantly. Over the past several months, the cracks have become substantially worse, and I am now concerned that the hardtop could eventually fail completely. This is no longer simply a cosmetic concern. I purchased a new Ford Bronco with the expectation that the vehicle’s major structural components would remain reliable under normal use. I am requesting that Ford reconsider my case and provide full replacement of the defective hardtop at no cost to me, including parts and installation cost. Simply filing a complaint for the recall on the fuel pump that still has not been remedied over a year ago. Headrest on rear passenger side will not stay up.

On August 26, 2026, my 2022 Ford Bronco experienced a serious safety related failure while I was driving. The vehicle displayed a sway bar disconnect system warning and became disabled, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The Bronco had to be towed to a Ford dealership, where it is available for inspection. Ford previously claimed that it inspected my Bronco under a recall specifically pertaining to the sway bar system. Ford determined that the sway bar did not need to be replaced and closed the recall as completed. The vehicle has now experienced a failure involving the same system that Ford claims it previously inspected. I am concerned that the recall inspection may not have identified the problem or that the recall procedure or remedy was insufficient. The precise cause of the current failure is still being diagnosed. Approximately one and a half weeks before the incident, five replacement tires were installed by a mobile tire service. The replacement tires were the same type and size already used on the vehicle. There was no change in tire size and no tire related modification to the Bronco. Three lug nuts were also found loose following this incident. Approximately three months earlier, three lug nuts had come completely off the vehicle. Loose lug nuts were found again during a tire rotation approximately one month before this incident. Windshield is leaking water/rain inside vehicle. I have it at All American Ford Old Bridge,NJ, for 15 days now and they want to charge me portion $256.76 plus tax. BUt, the Bronco has recall 222c12 or 25C52. I was willing to pay not knowing that there as a recall but they said if it breaks or cracks or chips while doing work they are not responsible to cover new windshield. please advise. They show on Ford recall website the recall complete, but my windshield was never removed, resealed and reinstalled. So that is a lie/fraud on All American Ford part. Please help. I have 2 other major issues with Bronco as well which are recalls that they made me pay for or did not resolve as of yet. I already paid for a middle roof panel and now front passenger roof panel must be replaced (recall 26S32) and they say it is not part of recall. And, the safety concern is the car just turned off on major highway 2 different episods one in May on NJ Turnpike I was almost hit from behind and the other was on Route 35 in Seaside Park, NJ in August. Same dealership said they can't experience it so they cannot diagnose and repair it. It is the fuel pump/loss of power issue #26V236000. the car has to be restarted and there is no warning. I am very worried about this.

Loss of power or acceleration randomly, when pressing on the pedal. A recall was issued that it was a fuel pump failure June of 2025. One year and two months later there is still no solution to this recall. I am mostly submitting this covering all bases and am filing a complaint with Ford motor company as well. This is a serious safety concern as without warning the car basically dies so turning in front of oncoming traffic or pulling out onto a road poses great risk when the vehicle may cease functioning.

Safety Defect – Inadequate Warning and Insufficient Time to Respond to Alternator/Charging System Failure I am submitting this safety complaint regarding a dangerous condition in my 2022 Ford Bronco involving the charging system and alternator protection behavior. While driving, a warning related to the charging system/battery appeared. The message lacked sufficient clarity and urgency. The time from the warning until the 12-volt battery was fully depleted was extremely short—too brief to safely identify a location and pull completely out of traffic. Once the battery died: • The vehicle could not be placed in neutral, preventing it from being moved out of the travel lane. • There was insufficient power to operate the hazard lights. This occurred on a busy highway, leaving the vehicle disabled in traffic and creating a significant safety risk. I was fortunate it happened in daylight. Had it occurred at night without functioning hazard lights, the likelihood of a catastrophic accident would have been high. The hard top is cracking and letting water into the cargo area. It seems to be right outside the parameters for recall number 26S32. Talk to dealer over a month ago and have not heard back yet.

On 7/19/26, I was driving my 2022 Ford Bronco Wildtrak and attempting to turn left across oncoming traffic. When I pressed the accelerator to complete the turn, the vehicle hesitated and failed to accelerate as expected. An approaching vehicle had to decelerate abruptly and honk to avoid a collision. 35 miles out of [XXX] on Monday, XXX our Bronco loss fuel flow in the fast lane of [XXX] and stalled while going 70mph we were surrounded by trucks also going 70mph, unexpectedly mid morning. No warning . Almost got rear ended and had to safely drift over to reach the side of the road. Very terrifying with cars going very fast behind us. We attempted to restart the Bronco and it started a few times and sputtered out. I immediately called the closest Ford dealership Gaudin and they dispatched a tow truck. The temperature was very hot and we waited for 1.5 hrs in the desert sun. The dealer provided a rental but I was not allowed to leave NV nor go more than 50 miles, they confirmed that it was a bad fuel pump. I did not receive the car back until Friday 6/19/26. While driving on an interstate it was determined that the engine walls over compressed and blew out the sides of the motor of my 2022 Ford Bronco. The Bronco has 67,000 miles on it which shows a clear manufacturer defect. It is available to be inspected as well to confirm. My wife’s and unborn child’s safety was put at risk by losing acceleration and losing control of the vehicle briefly as it began to shake from the engine misfiring. This easily could have caused a serious wreck had more traffic been present at the time. The dealership has not been able to confirm this on other cars. The engine has been inspected by a Ford Dealership. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the failure and only appeared shortly after the engine over-compressed and began to shake.

Differential carrier replacement due to metal contmination being found in differential during oil change and a transmission overhaul due to excessive wear of(clutch container, CDF bushing, forward hub and front support bushings). They also noted a sticking valve in the main control on my 2022 Ford Bronco 2.7L V6 when taken in to dealership to evaluate vehichle under warranty due to ongoing intermittent thump/clunking noise when coming to a stop and accelerating from a stop as well as when backing up from a stop and while driving as well, intermittent loud metal slapping sound at speeds over 60 mph, intermittent jerking of vehichle when cycling through gears, unexpected downshift at high speeds. After differential replacement and transmission overhaul due to excessive wear while under warranty, my vehichle continues to experience the same symptoms and problems and feel this is a safety issue.
