Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles. The engine crossmember may not be secured properly, which can cause the engine to shift and possibly result in a loss of drive power or brake failure.

Risk. A loss of drive power or brake failure increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the cross member fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Defect. Rollx Vans (Rollx) is recalling certain GMC Yukon, Sierra, Chevrolet Express 2500, Ford Transit, E-250, Toyota Sienna, Sienna Hybrid, Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Town and Country, Voyager, Pacifica, Dodge Grand Caravan, and Ram Promaster vehicles equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. Please refer to Rollx's recall report for specific model year information. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Risk. An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy. Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles repaired incorrectly under recall numbers 24V226 and 24V591. An incorrect steering coupler cover and tires that were not designed for the vehicle may have been installed during a previous repair.

Risk. Incorrect tires and an incorrect steering coupler cover can cause a loss of brake function, loss of steering control, or damage to tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and if necessary, replace the tires, tire placard, and certification label, and also recalibrate the vehicle. Additionally, dealers will remove the steering coupler cover. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2026. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2022-2025 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.

Risk. A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on June 26, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ford Transit vehicles previously repaired under recall number 24V-102. Incorrect bolts may have been used to attach the rear axle shaft, which can lead to the rear wheel locking up or separating from the axle.

Risk. Rear wheel lock-up or separation of the wheel from the axle shaft can result in loss of vehicle control or loss of drive power. In addition, the vehicle may roll in park if the parking brake is not applied. Any of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect the rear axle shaft bolts, replace incorrect bolts as necessary, and fill the differential fluid if needed, free of charge. Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024 Transit vehicles. The front gross axle weight rating may be labeled incorrectly on the vehicle B-pillar label and the owner's manual label, which can result in an overloaded vehicle.

Risk. An overloaded vehicle may result in steering knuckle failure and a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles. The steering column intermediate shaft may have been secured to the steering gear pinion shaft with an incorrect bolt, which can result in the separation of steering components and cause a loss of steering control.

Risk. A loss of steering control can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the steering column intermediate shaft bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 14, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S48.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles equipped with a Transit Trail package. The electronic power assist steering (EPAS) ground eyelet joint may experience corrosion, which can result in a loss of power steering assist.

Risk. A loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will install a new EPAS ground pigtail kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 10, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S46.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles equipped with the Transit Trail package. The tires may contact the front wheel arch liner and body flange, causing damage to the tires.

Risk. Damaged tires may experience a sudden loss of air pressure or tread separation, causing a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the tires, tire placard, and certification label, and also recalibrate the vehicle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 26, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S21.

Defect. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ford Transit vehicles. An inadequate amount of rear axle lubricant may cause rear axle tail bearing damage and seizure, which can result in wheel lock-up or driveshaft separation.

Risk. Wheel lock-up or driveshaft separation can result in a loss of drive power. A disconnected driveshaft can also result in a roll away when the vehicle is in park without the parking brake applied. Any of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect the rear axle, and replace the axle bearings or axle assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S05.

This is the second time this occurred. Please refer to 11757120. While travelling approximately 65 mph the vehicle had a complete shutdown including the engine and all electrical systems in the chassis. When a vehicle has a complete shutdown while driving it is inherently dangerous and life threatening. The problem has been confirmed by Westlies Truck Center in Minot ND again. To my knowledge the vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer or anyone other than the staff at the truck center. There were no warnings of any kind prior to this occurrence. We were on a busy 4 lane highway.

We were on our way to a campground. Approximately 40 miles from the campground the RV shut down. All chassis systems failed including the engine and electrical systems. It is available for inspection. Our safety as well as the first mechanic on the scene and tow truck driver because we were only partially off of the roadway. There were no hazard lights working. The problem was confirmed by Westlies Truck Center in Minot ND. The component(s) have not been inspected. There were no warnings or symptoms of any kind. I was told by the service manager that it could happen again.

Attempting to purchase a Midwest Automotive Designs, Patriot RV on Ford Transit chassis. The rear seat belts installed by the RV manufacturer for rear passenger seating have been removed but dealership refuses to replace them. The dealer is offering this vehicle for sale without required safety equipment. I believe this is a violation of DOT law ?

The rear axle snapped and rear tire separated and rolled behind vehicle on the expressway causing the potential for injury/fatalities to our driver and surrounding passenger vehicles by recall 24S05. At no point did we receive communication from Ford that the vehicle should not be operated. We scheduled the recall repairs for next week, 5/4/26 however this morning, 5/1/26 the rear axle snapped and the tire fell off of the vehicle. The vehicle has been towed to Roche Ford in Bensenville for repairs. The recall has been well documented and has thus far caused 285 incidents and 1 accident prior to our issue this morning. There were no indicator lights or messages to indicate an issue.

On March 11, 2026, a 2024 Ford Transit (VIN: [XXX] ) was being operated under normal driving conditions when the check engine light began intermittently activating. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of dashboard functionality. While attempting to safely maneuver to the shoulder, the operator experienced loss of power steering and reduced braking capability. During this time, flames were observed originating from the engine compartment. The operator was able to safely pull the vehicle over, exit, and contact emergency services. The vehicle subsequently became fully engulfed in flames and was completely destroyed. No injuries were reported. A preliminary fire investigation determined the area of origin to be the passenger side of the engine compartment, with evidence of possible electrical involvement. The specific failed component has not yet been identified. This incident created a significant safety hazard due to the sudden loss of vehicle control systems combined with an active vehicle fire during operation. Fuel filler door hinges continues to break and the consumer has to pay for a new housing unit. The hinges can break at anytime and the fuel door can become a potential issue while driving. It can break all the way off and hit another vehicle while traveling on the road/ Highway. The problem has been confirmed by the dealerships as they always have back-stock of new units to replace. There is no warning as to when it breaks at all.

While traveling straight at approximately 30 miles per hour, the front differential locked, causing the front wheels to lock and abruptly stopped the vehicle. Vehicle was towed to a Ford dealership, which verified the differential failed, and not due to lack of lubricant. There were no symptoms prior to failure. The abruptness of the stop caused the operator to suffer whiplash like symptoms.

My backup camera goes black and radio buttons do not work when this happens. They replaced apim and harness wires but did not solve the problem. They say they cannot replace radio because not on recall list. My van is under warranty. My van has the same issue as the recalls but not on the list. I've been having this issue since I bought the van. It needs to be on the recall list so I can get this issue fixed.

The local dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 6,174.

The contact owns a 2024 Ford Transit. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds; an abnormal fuel odor would leak into the interior cabin, which caused health issues. In addition, the contact stated that while stopped around other vehicles in daily traffic, the exterior exhaust fumes would leak into the interior cabin of the vehicle. No warning lights illuminated. The contact sought medical attention for vomiting and severe dehydration due to a high carbon monoxide poisoning level of 2.6 as a non-smoker. Upon further inspection, the contact noticed a leak on the passenger side manifold and under the flexing coupling. The vehicle was taken to 3 separate dealers, where the vehicle was declined to be diagnosed. The vehicle was then towed to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed; however, no failures were identified. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000.

We rented the Vehicle from ACE Rent A Car JFK location. The turn signals were not working. Hazards worked as normal. When inspected it is suspected an electrical issue with the cable connections caused them not to work. Google searches revealed similar issues on other car models.

Purchased this new vehicle from the dealer and while driving from the dealership to my business, I heard a loud bang and the vehicle caught fire.

Upon startup center main touch screen black screened making all vehicle settings unavailable. No adjusting radio, climate, settings, parking assistance, etc. Only park that would come up on screen was back up camera view when in reverse but no line assistance.
