Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery, 2020-2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, 2019-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Range Rover, 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Defender, 2021-2024 Jaguar F-Pace, and 2021-2022 Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs.) The DC-DC converter can fail due to an internal fault in the boost control microchip. A failure of the DC-DC converter will result in a loss of 12-Volt system charging and can lead to complete loss of drive power and exterior lighting.

Risk. A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The remedy for this recall is currently under development. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D126 and H575.

The center console infotainment display screen fails to boot on vehicle start-up, remaining entirely blank/black. Because the screen stays black, critical vehicle interfaces—including the mandatory rear-view backup camera system—are fully non-functional, creating a compliance and safety concern. This specific failure mode—a clock-synchronization mismatch causing a blank display at startup and loss of the backup camera—is identical to the defect addressed under Land Rover Safety Recall N972 (NHTSA Campaign #25V016000)

The contact owns a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V454000 (Air Bags); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

My vehicle is subject to an active AIRBAG SAFETY RECALL. The recall has been open for 112 days. The authorized Land Rover dealer has confirmed that the manufacturer does not have repair parts available and no repair completion date has been provided. Although the vehicle is technically drivable, it is unsafe due to the airbag defect. The airbag system may fail to deploy properly in a crash, increasing the risk of serious injury or death. The manufacturer has failed to remedy this safety defect within a reasonable time. I am concerned for my safety and the safety of others.

I received notice of safety recall N945 for the 2021–2025 Range Rover Evoque concerning a defect in the passenger airbag that could tear during deployment due to improper folding during assembly. This condition poses a serious safety risk because a torn airbag could fail to protect the occupant or release hot gases that could cause burns. Since the recall was issued several months ago, I have repeatedly contacted my authorized Land Rover dealership to schedule the repair. The dealership stated that they are unable to perform the recall because their internal system was “hacked” and they cannot access recall information or confirm when parts will be available. The manufacturer’s website still lists the recall as “incomplete – remedy not yet available.” It has now been over three months since I was notified of the recall, yet no remedy or scheduling information has been provided. This delay prevents me from having a critical safety repair completed and leaves my vehicle in an unsafe condition for any front passenger. I am filing this complaint because the manufacturer and dealership have not provided a remedy within a reasonable time frame, and I believe this represents a failure to complete a federally mandated safety recall in a timely manner

I have purchased a 2022 Evoque as a certified preowned vehicle. Only a few days after the delivery, the car had to be towed back to the dealership due to multiple error messages that caused the vehicle to shift into Neutral on its own, and it did not allow changing gears after that -- it was not possible to move the vehicle. Check engine light also came on. Errors displayed were; "Emergency Braking and Lane Assistance not available", "OK to drive with caution Suspension fault detected". The dealership reported the vehicle was "dead" on arrival, and they said they had to replace a sensor module, which was found faulty. The car was delivered back to me as "fixed". However, I started to get the same messages again about a week later with additional errors of "Hill Descent Control not available", "ATPC not available", "OK to drive with caution Stability control not available", and "Driver Assistance features not available" messages. As mentioned above, the car places itself in neutral position every time this happens, and does not allow the gear to be changed. I got stranded in various locations 3 times in 3 months. I took the car to the dealership to take a look at the car again to find out what the problem is, which apparently was not fixed through the previous attempt. However, they reported that the problem cannot be replicated and considered the case closed. I reached out to Land Rover corporate, who contacted the dealership to assist with troubleshooting and review the car'

Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Recall repairs are free for as long as the recall stands. Check whether a specific car still has open work at NHTSA's VIN lookup.
