Right rear spring flattened and bent down at shackle. noticed before a trip while inspecting tire pressures. could have caused a major accident if i didn't notice it and cancel trip. advised jayco dealer and they said it was unsafe to drive after showing them pictures but would not send a tech to look at it. then jayco said i overloaded it and drove on extreme terrain. i only drove it approximately 200 miles and loaded it 1/3 -1/2 capacity. I weighed every item i put into it. i had it fixed with upgraded parts from an outside source who said the failed spring was not hardened correctly at factory. this was an extremely dangerous position to be in and jayco took no accountability and put blame on me knowing no facts. Still have the original parts and pics.

Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
