ONGOING PROBLEM WITH A MAGIC CHIEF STOVE TOP. WHENEVER USED WITH ANY PAN, THE HEAT PREVENTS THE KNOB FROM TURNING OFF GAS. MUST GO OUTSIDE TO TURN OFF MAIN LINE, LET THE TOP COOL AND THEN USE THE KNOB TO TURN OFF GAS. CONSUMER BEEN BACK AND FORTH TO DEALER & MANUFACTURER, AND BOTH ARE AVOIDING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF DOING SOMETHING. CAN NHTSA PROVIDE HELP IN THIS MATTER. *AK
