Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2014-2017 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The front suspension upper knuckle joint may crack, which can result in suspension arm detachment.

Risk. Suspension arm detachment can cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect the front suspension knuckles and install a retaining bracket or replace the knuckle, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D019, N759, D041, and D027. This recall expands and replaces previous NHTSA recall number 24V840.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Range Rover and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and repaired under Recall 19V-392, however the repair may not have been completed properly. Due to a problem with the Keyless Vehicle Latching System (KV Latch), the doors may appear to be closed but may be unlatched.

Risk. Unlatched doors may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for any issues with the KV system, disabling the KV mechanisms if necessary, and update the KV Latch software, free of charge. The recall began November 30, 2020. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Land Rover's number for this recall is N476.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Ranger Rover and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport vehicles. Due to a problem with the Keyless Vehicle Latching System (KV Latch), the doors may appear to be closed but may be unlatched.

Risk. The unlatched door may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for any issues with the KV system, disabling the KV mechanisms if necessary, and update the KV Latch software, free of charge. The recall began July 18, 2019. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N335. Note: Vehicles in this recall were previously recalled under recall number 15V-385 and need to be remedied again.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2015 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured June 2, 2015, to June 11, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the second row seat back may not latch properly, especially in the center section.

Risk. In the event of a crash, if the seat back is not properly latched, the seat belt may not properly restrain the occupant, increasing their risk of injury.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the second row seat mechanism, replacing it as required, free of charge. The recall began on November 12, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P072.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 Range Rover vehicles manufactured July 26, 2012, to March 9, 2015, and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured February 18, 2013, to March 5, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the doors may unlatch unexpectedly when closed.

Risk. If a vehicle door unlatches, the distraction may increase the risk of a crash and/or a vehicle occupant may fall out of the vehicle if they are not wearing a seatbelt, increasing their risk of injury.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the keyless entry software, free of charge. The recall began August 6, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P068.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2015 Land Rover Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and LR4 vehicles manufactured January 6, 2015, to January 23, 2015. The affected vehicles have wheel lug nuts that may crack and detach from the wheel hub stud.

Risk. If one or more of the wheel lug nuts crack or detach from the wheel hub, the remaining lug nuts may be unable to keep the wheel secured to the vehicle. If the wheel detaches, loss of vehicle control would result, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace the wheel nuts with new wheel nuts, free of charge. The recall began March 23, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P056.

Defect. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles manufactured August 23, 2012, to February 5, 2015, and 2014-2015 Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured June 16, 2013, to February 5, 2015. In the affected vehicles, a light weight adult front seat passenger may be improperly classified by the occupant classification system (OCS) and, as a result, the front seat passenger air bag may be disabled.

Risk. If the front passenger air bag is disabled during a vehicle crash, there is an increased risk of injury.

Remedy. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the OCS software, free of charge. The recall began April 9, 2015. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P059.

My 2015 Land Rover Range Rover underwent recall-related suspension repair work at Land Rover Orlando. Shortly after the repair, I began hearing an extremely loud noise from the front of the vehicle. The noise was severe enough that I informed the dealership I was afraid to drive the vehicle. I sent videos of the noise to the dealership. After reviewing the videos, dealership personnel advised that the issue was likely related to the air strut assembly or control arm bushings. The vehicle was later inspected by an independent mechanic. During that inspection, it was discovered that the front brake caliper bracket mounting bolts were not properly secured. On the driver's side, mounting bolts were reportedly missing. On the passenger side, mounting bolts were found extremely loose and could be removed by hand. The mechanic documented the condition with photographs and video evidence. The brake caliper bracket is a critical brake system component, and I believe this condition created a significant safety risk. Had the bracket separated or shifted while driving, it could have resulted in loss of braking performance, vehicle damage, loss of vehicle control, a crash, serious injury, or death. The abnormal noise began shortly after the recall repair. I reported the issue to the dealership at that time. The condition was later confirmed by an independent mechanic. The dealer replaced the tie rod spindle and joint ball and additionally paid to replace the two front tires, and the vehicle was balanced and aligned. The contact was then informed that there might be a reimbursement for the repairs once parts became available. The contact was informed that the vehicle was repaired and drivable, even though the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the repairs. The contact inquired about the safety of the vehicle despite the recall remedy not being available, but the manufacturer had not answered the question. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

I have tried to get the recall 25V-514 repaired at two separate LR dealerships. One in MA and one in FL No parts available and no information on when they will be available.. Call LR customer service only to be told they dont have any information on parts availability. Recieved original notification 12/18/24 Second notification 9/5/25 MANY people affected by this safety issue and NO-ONE KNOWS WHEN THIS WILL BE RESOLVED We need NHTSA help to light a fire under JLR

Front Passenger door unlatched with no warning. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. I made a quick stop off the highway and my passenger and I got back in the vehicle and pulled off and the door opened. She pulled the door closed and it wouldn't latch. At this point we were miles away from home. The door could've unlatched on the highway that we were just on and caused a major accident by getting caught by the wind and blowing open which could've shifted the vehicle into a ditch or into other vehicles. My passenger could've been leaning on the door and could've been injured or dead if she fell out and the seat belt didn't hold. After encountering this issue, I have been researching and noticed Safety Recall N335 was issued for Range Rover vehicles, however my year is listed but my vin# fell slightly out of range for this recall. This is a huge issue and can impact my life as well as the lives of others when door stop unlatching.

New Critical Information: Diagnostic Confirmation: During evaluation by Jaguar Land Rover North America (JLRNA), the vehicle registered the fault code: “High Speed CAN Communication Bus Missing Message.” JLRNA’s engineer confirmed this indicates the rotary gear selector failed to communicate with the transmission, meaning the vehicle could display “Park” while remaining in gear. Prior Malfunction: Days before the rollaway, the gear selector became stuck in Reverse, requiring a battery disconnect to reset the system demonstrating a repeatable electronic instability in the shift-by-wire system. Severe Injury: The rollaway resulted in the vehicle striking and rolling over me, causing crush trauma and rhabdomyolysis with CPK levels of 10,000 U/L a near- fatal medical emergency. Incident Description: On April 4, 2025, after placing the vehicle in "Park," it suddenly and rapidly began reversing without driver input. The open door struck me, knocking me to the ground and the vehicle rolled over my legs, groin and arm before stopping after colliding with a dirt pile. This resulted in severe injuries and hospitalization. The vehicle’s gear selector is the rotary dial type. Post incident diagnostic reports showed communication faults between the shifter assembly and transmission control. Jaguar Land Rover North America (JLRNA) currently has the vehicle under extended diagnostic evaluation but has not provided a confirmed root cause. The malfunction may relate to electronic gear-shift or transmission control failures. I am reporting this incident for federal safety review, as this defect presents a potential risk of uncommanded vehicle movement and serious bodily harm. Additional Information: The vehicle remains in JLRNA custody. Original diagnostic codes were recorded by their engineer. I have experienced significant injury and loss of use. I request NHTSA’s review and tracking of this defect for other potential affected vehicles.
