Defect. KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, 2024-2025 390 Duke, 2025 390 SMC R, 390 Enduro R, 390 Adventure X, and 390 Adventure R motorcycles. The engine control software may cause the engine to stall at low rpms, resulting in a loss of power.

Risk. A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy. KTM and Husqvarna dealers will inspect the motorcycles and update the electronic control unit engine management system (ECU EMS) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2026. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. The manufacturer's numbers for this recall are KTB2513 & HTB2508.

Defect. KTM North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2024 390 Duke, 250 Duke, 990 Duke, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 motorcycles. The seal on the fuel filler cap may develop cracks and leak fuel.

Risk. A fuel leak increases the risk of fire or injury.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel cap gasket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov March 31, 2026.
