Defect. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2007-2010 Elantra and 2009-2011 Elantra Touring vehicles. On February 21, 2020 Hyundai expanded the recall to include 46,425 model year 2007-2008 Entourage and 2007 Santa Fe vehicles. Moisture may enter the Anti-lock Brake (ABS) Module and result in an electrical short.

Risk. An electrical short within the ABS Module may cause an engine compartment fire, even when the car is turned off, increasing the risk of an injury.

Remedy. Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will install a relay in the vehicle's main junction box to prevent the risk of an ABS short-circuit while the car is turned off, free of charge. The recall began April 2, 2020. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 188.

Defect. Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2006-2009 Accent, model year 2007-2011 Azera, Sonata and Sante Fe,2006-2011 Tucson, 2009-2011 Elantra Touring, 2007-2010 Elantra, 2008-2011 Veracruz, 2009-2011 Genesis, 2010-2011 Genesis Coupe, 2007-2008 Entourage, and 2006-2008 Tiburon vehicles. Originally, in April 2013, Hyundai recalled 1,059,824 model year 2007-2009 Accent and Tucson, model year 2007-2010 Elantra, model year 2007-2011 Santa Fe, model year 2008-2009 Veracruz, model year 2010-2011 Genesis Coupe, and model year 2011 Sonata vehicles. In September 2013, Hyundai informed the agency that it was adding more vehicles to this campaign, representing an additional 652,512 units. The total number of vehicles being recalled is now 1,712,336. In the affected vehicles, the stop lamp switch may malfunction. A malfunctioning stop lamp switch may cause the brake lights to not illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed or may cause an inability to deactivate the cruise control by depressing the brake pedal. Additionally, a malfunctioning stop lamp switch may also result in intermittent operation of the push-button start feature, affect the operation of the brake transmission shift interlock feature, preventing the shifter from being moved out of the PARK position and cause the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) malfunction light to illuminate.

Risk. Failure to illuminate the stop lamps during braking or inability to disengage the cruise control could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, when the ignition is in the 'ON' position, the transmission shifter may be able to be moved out of Park without first applying the brake. This may lead to unintentional movement of the car which may increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will replace the stop lamp switch, free of charge. The safety recall began on April 22, 2013. Owners may contact Hyundai at 1-800-633-5151. Hyundai's recall campaign number is 110.

Defect. Hyundai is recalling certain model year 2007 through 2009 Santa Fe vehicles manufactured from April 19, 2006, through July 7, 2008. The occupant classification system (OCS) may need recalibration to accurately detect small statured adults.

Risk. Improper classification or detection may cause the front passenger airbag not to deploy in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to the front passenger.

Remedy. Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will update the classification software free of charge. The safety recall began on September 7, 2012. Owners may contact Hyundai at 1-800-633-5151.

THE CLOCK SPRING CONTACT ASSEMBLY FOR THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) MAY BECOME DAMAGED THROUGH USAGE OVER TIME. THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT WILL EXPERIENCE A HIGH RESISTANCE CONDITION, POTENTIALLY CAUSING THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG TO NOT DEPLOY.

Risk. IF THE CLOCK SPRING DEVELOPS HIGH RESISTANCE, IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THE DRIVERS AIR BAG WILL NOT DEPLOY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROPERLY PROTECT THE DRIVER, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES.

THE ACCESSORY TRAILER HITCH WIRING HARNESS CONVERTER MODULE IS MOUNTED TO THE TOP SURFACE OF THE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT. SOME CIRCUIT BOARD COMPONENTS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY SEALED TO PREVENT MOISTURE CONTACT. THE MOISTURE MAY RESULT IN CIRCUIT BOARD CORROSION POSSIBLY CAUSING A SHORT CIRCUIT.

Valve cover leaking oil onto my alternator causing my original and one I bought to replace to both stop working

The contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal odor coming from the engine compartment. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and discovered that there was oil leaking from the valve cover onto the alternator. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V415000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the battery, check engine, and ABS warning lights were illuminated and the vehicle intermittently stalled. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and restarted the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to return to normal operation. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the alternator was covered in oil from the head gasket leak, and the alternator was failing. The independent mechanic stated that the alternator and head gasket needed to be replaced. The contact researched and became aware of Voluntary Service Campaign: MC-10245012-0001. Break pedal switch getting hot and disables the gear shifter

Engine valve cover gaskets leaking oil, causing oil drip on pavement. Could cause fire and alternator failure. My mechanic pin-pointed the leak location. I am writing to formally report an incident involving the service department at Lakeland Hyundai (1500 W Memorial Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33815). My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe was brought in on 12/31/25 for an active engine recall involving the Cylinder Head Cover Oil Leak Repair (Recall Code 976 / Campaign 24-01-026H). The vehicle was driven into the dealership in proper working condition. I was later informed that allegedly stripped bolts for the cover would require an out-of-pocket cost of $483.36, despite this being a recall repair. There was also a required Upper Timing Chain Guide repair quoted at $58.38 to complete the recall work. When I was called in on 01/12/26 to pick up the vehicle for completed work, I was charged $29.99 for a Multi-Point Inspection related to the recall, yet no documentation or billing was provided for the timing chain guide repair I was told was completed. Upon attempting to leave the lot, the check engine light was on and the vehicle immediately began shaking violently and producing a loud noise. The service representative could not identify the cause and later advised there was nothing further they could do, citing a P0300 code, and instructed me to return the loaner and retrieve my now-undrivable vehicle. My vehicle remains at Lakeland Hyundai and is undrivable due to issues that arose immediately following recall service. UNKNOWN Went to the grocery store and vehicle was working fine. Upon leaving the store, started the car, ESC OFF light was on and when I went to press the brake to put the vehicle in reverse, the gearshift was locked and I couldn't move the gear. Long story short, I had to get my vehicle towed to the house as the vehicle is non-drivable at this time. Kelly's Blue Book indicated there were a few Hyundai recalls related to the ESC but my make and model was not affected but clearly I believe it is based on my experience and find this very unsafe.

The contact stated that the dealer refused to repair the vehicle, due to the age of the vehicle. The vehicle remained with the dealer. My vehicle had an oil leak from the front cylinder bank valve cover onto the alternator. the oil damaged the alternator resulting in illumination of the charging system warning lamp and disablement of the charging system. On 11/09/2021, the engine light came on and my car turned off. I had it towed to my mechanic and on 11/10/2021 he replaced the valve cover gaskets, alternator and belt. On 12/2023, I found out there was a manufacture recall related to the valve cover. I placed a claim in 12/2023. They have asked for several versions of documents and then stop communicating and eventually deny/close the account. I have filed approximately 4 claims and they stop communicating. The last claim was filed on 1/2/2025 and I have only received an email stating "Thank you for contacting Hyundai Motor America." I have tried to ask for an update and no response. I have called and it refers me to the recall portal. What do I have to do to get reimbursed for the towing and repair work I that I have paid for.

The E .C. M. PART# 39110-3C561 started faulting out, causing stalling abruptly while stop at an intersection an merging into traffic.This events were randomly happening causing higher risks of accidents. I took the vehicle for service an was informed that the "ECM" was causing this faults. The vehicle had the check engine light on during this time. The service shop advised me to bring the vehicle in to the Hyundai dealer, because the problem is likely to increase. The Hyundai dealer verify that the "ECM " is faulty an extremely difficult if not impossible to find. This faulting "ECM " part has literally but my vehicle totally useless.

I had the recall done for the rusty frame and sub floor, to arrest the rust. The frame is now rusted through. I have a hole big enough to put my fist in. I call Hyundai customer care center Case #[XXX]. When driving this car if the frame breaks I will lose control of the car and crash. The car was just at Van Horn Hyundai Sheboygan WI they did the valve cover gasket recall. They pointed the rust on the frame. I was told by Carlos the car was too old, had to many miles to be taken care of it. They did valve cover gasket recall. The car runs and looks great. The car is not a rusted out piece of junk. It is sitting in the driveway because I am afraid to drive it. I am concerned about this car and how many others are driving around not knowing about this problem. Yesterday, Dec 15, 2023, I was driving in a local shopping mall and applied my brakes as I was turning into a store's parking lot. My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe initially slowed upon braking, then suddenly lurched forward, propelling me at least 20 feet forward and past the store parking lot entrance I was attempting to pull into. I was able to get the car to stop by braking hard. I slowly accelerated and was able to pull into another parking lot entrance. If another car or pedestrian had been in front of me they would have been struck by my out of control car. My car had been at a local dealership on Nov 3, 2023, just 5 weeks earlier, for a recall. I've owned the car approximately 8 years and am concerned that this uncontrolled lurching of my car happened 5 weeks after being worked on at the dealership when I had never experienced this problem before. I will contact the dealership about this issue

The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was "running lean on bank 1" and determined that the Engine Control Module needed to be reset. The vehicle had been repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated whenever gasoline gauge was below 1/2 tank full. The contact stated that the check engine warning was light illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed by the dealer, and it was determined that the timing belt, spark plugs, and fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred, and the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed with running lean on bank 1 and 2 and that there was a small leak on the manifold and the manifold needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

The Dealer at Selma Hyundai (2505 Highland Ave. Selma, Ca. 93662) was unable to complete the the recall. Dealer stated “unable to complete PODS update attempted multiple times. Current Scan tool does not support hook-up to cables and option is to update no present. Air bag light due to PODS (passenger occupant ECU) fault with loss of calibration. Scan tool will not communicate with passenger seat module.” “No repair at this time.”

My car has active recalls for the brake switch (prevents brake lights from working properly) and systems related to proper airbag deployment. In addition, there is a service recall (it doesn't show in your database, but it is Hyundai Service Campaign 936 [XXX] ) related to the valve gasket literally dumping oil out to the point that it destroys the alternator - it destroyed my AC Compressor, too! That's not the main point of this, but it's relevant in general. I have been attempting to schedule an appointment to get these issues resolved, but all local dealers tell me the recalls have "expired" and refuse to even look at the car. Some legitimately stop answering the phone when I call at this point, it just rings forever. The online tool to make an appointment from the official Hyundai site has you pick a time to bring the car in, but the dealers to not allot any slots to this so none are available to select. I contacted Hyundai Corporate Customer Service to resolve this, and was told I'd need to "continue trying to work with the dealers." It was no help at all. I am trying to fix the issues myself - my car is currently half-assembled in my garage, and I am technically proficient (I hope!), but it seems ridiculous to be denied service for active safety recalls - and keep in mind, I am only trying to do it myself because the dealers refuse to and I don't want to die in a fiery car crash. There was a problem with the steering, so thought may be my wife hit a pothole found out the sub frame was severely corroded rusted and falling apart. My family could seriously got hurt. There was no accident, But there very well could have if she continued to drive ,there has to some form of responsibility of Hyundai add vehicle since it was brand new only 67,000 miles

Did oil change. Valve cover was leaking. Put in manufacturer recommended oil. Engine chatter after oil change. Also did valve cover gaskets at said time of oil change.

Check Engine Light was lighting up on and off sporadically and fuel gage was showing E with light on and now both are not working properly. The check engine light stays on and fuel gage always shows empty even when it is full.

Brake/stop light switch located behind the brake pedal sticks causing the gear shift to not be removed from or into Park. Hyundai issued Recall #110 for this issue but the recall does not cover all versions of 2007 Santa Fe even though the issue occasionally occurs on non recalled versions.

The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated while driving at approximately 65 MPH, excessive force was needed to depress the accelerator pedal, and the vehicle then stalled. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road and turned off the vehicle. The contact also stated that when he exited the vehicle, there was fluid leaking from underneath the engine compartment. The check engine and ABS warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was able to be restarted and was then taken to an unknown local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. In 2015 Hyundai issued service campaign 936 for 2007-2009 Santa Fe valve cover & alternator due to the valve cover leaking & dripping oil onto the alternator, potentially damaging the alternator resulting in the charging system becoming inoperative. My 2007 Santa Fe was repaired under this campaign. Now with less than 30K miles since the repair the same problem exists, the valve cover is leaking oil onto the alternator again. I've contacted my local Hyundai dealer but they refuse to repair the issue under the campaign a 2nd time. The issue was detected by the local dealership during a routine oil change & they advised me that the cost to replace the valve cover gasket & the alternator would be in excess of $1,000.

Park N Fly Mississauga Canada. Vehicle in parked position. Vehicle reversed from position and driven for 50-75 feet. Driver made a left turn and within two seconds the vehicle started accelerating on its own. Driver’s head and hands bounced off the steering for a brief moment and then returned. Engine could be heard revving continuously in an increasing manner. Nothing on the gas pedal nor was it manually depressed. The pedal felt stuck with no recoil like what is usually felt when ones foot is taken off the accelerator. Driver attempted to depress brakes to maximum capacity but the system would not override the acceleration and the motion the car was travelling. Car continued to pickup speed to about 70 km/hr. Attempted to slightly turn into a side lane. Cars were parked in facing each other position. Driver clipped the first vehicle, then deflected and ran into three other vehicles before becoming wedged. Passenger front tire continue to spin and burnt thread. Driver front tire intact

When I bought this vehicle they were in cahoots with the nearby dealership, so no issues like this recall were found. I was NEVER TOLD ABOUT THE RECALLS because they trying to CHARGE ME!!!! This HAS always HAD this PROBLEM AND AT ONE TIME HAD A FUEL SENSOR problem.....I was told it was no problem to make the appointment at one Hyundai dealership and they had the VIN & NOW .....Now, that I had made an appt. with another dealership this is an issue and ALL of the factory recall issues were fixed, except for the hitch. IT NEVER was. I called the Hyundai Recall customer service # number and of course, they say there are no issues...The recall # is 077.

The contact pulled into a shopping center and purchased a quart of oil to add to the engine oil. When the contact opened the hood, oil had leaked all over the engine. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to his residence. The vehicle was not inspected or repaired. The contact was concerned after doing research that oil had leaked onto the alternator and caused the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.

While driving at a moderate speed suddenly my car accelerated a high rate of speed. As the motor accelerated I heard a very loud bang like metal . I applied the brakes but the car did not slow down, suddenly the car slowed down to the point that I thought the brakes had locked up. Parked the car and when I restarted the car, at a very slow speed I drove home. Mechanic took car and with his dianostic equipment the code for transmission problem was revealed. As a result I had the transmission replaced. Replacement of transmission has not taken care of acceleration problem and as a result because of it being a safety problem the car is only used for local use.

Oilfilter cap leaks all over transmission and won't stay sealed all cleaned and put new stuff still a puddle on the the tranny had to Bondo my filter cap she runs poorly when it's not sealed but it's tight

The driver seat belt locking mechanism has failed. I tried to replace it with OEM manufacturer parts but have been told by Hyundai that the part is not available, it is on back order but will be discontinued before backorder is fulfilled. My question is how can you discontinue manufacturering a part which is mandated by every licensing state? I have filed a complaint with Hyundai but they have ignored my attempts to resolve this. I need help to return my vehicle to safety standards.

The vehicle, (2007 Hyundai Santa Fe in excellent condition) struck a cow head on at 60 miles per hour and the airbags failed to deploy. It is available on request for a few months. The three occupants of the vehicle suffered from banging around inside. Concussion and sore muscles a few minor cuts but were otherwise very lucky. There was no prior indication of a problem with the airbags.

Break lights is not working and ESC lights is on in my dashboard.

ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON AND THE FUEL NEEDLE STAYS ON EMPTY AFTER THE TANK IS FULL.

DRIVING DOWN THE STREET THE ABS, BRAKE AND ESC LIGHT CAME ON AND WOULDN'T GO OFF, THERE WAS ALSO A BUZZING SOUND GOING ON.TOOK THE CAR HOME AND TURNED IT OFF AND THE SENSOR FROM THAT UNIT STAYED ON MAKING A BUZZING SOUND EVEN AFTER THE CAR WAS TURNED OFF.

THE VALVE COVER GASKET FAILED AFTER BEING REPLACED UNDER A PREVIOUS RECALL IN THE SAME MANNER AND OIL LEAKS DIRECTLY INTO THE ALTERNATOR CAUSING IT TO ULTIMATELY FAIL.

VALVE COVER RECALL WAS REPAIRED BUT THE SAME ISSUE SHOWING UP AGAIN. THE FORUMS HAVE THE SAME COMPLAINTS. IT IS LEAKING ONTO THE ALTERNATOR AGAIN. HAS NOT FAILED YET BUT WILL HAVE TO PAY SEVERAL HUNDRED TO REPAIR IT. IT IS ALSO LEAKING ONTO THE EXHAUST SHIELD COULD CATCH FIRE.

2007 SANTE FE LIMITED, SAGE GREY ONE OWNER, GARAGE KEPT, MAINTAINED REGULAR BASIS, LOW MILEAGE 84,000, INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH A KELLY BLUE BOOK OF $4200 TO $4600. PURCHASED AT LAUREN HYUNDAI IN GLENVIEW AND MAINTAINED AT HYUNDAI LINCOLNWOOD, IL ALONG WITH MY REGULAR MECHANIC. I LEARNED YESTERDAY THAT THE RIGHT REAR OF SUB FRAME RUSTED OUT WITH A BOTH FRONT FRAME RUSTED OUT AND HAS A HOLE IN IT. IT'S A KNOW ISSUE BY FED, NHTSA, SERIES OF RECALLS AND DEALER RUSTED OUT FRAMES, SUB FRAMES AND OTHER PART REPAIRS AND REPLACEMETNS. THE 2007 TREATMENT DIDN'T WORK AND THE SAME ISSUE IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET WITH CLASS ACTION SUITS. I'VE ALSO READ LOW AND HIGH MILEAGE CARS WITHIN 2-10 YEARS HAVE SAME ISSUE BUT MUST BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THEY RESOLVED THE OLDER ONES BY SPRAYING THEM ONE ONE RECALL AND DIDN'T UPGRADE THEIR SUB PAR PARTS FOR US COLD WEATHER SALT BELT STATES. I NOW LOST THE VALUE, CANT SELL IT OUTRIGHT AND THE CAR IS DEEMED UNSAFE. I'D LIKE ASSISTANCE GETTING THIS LOOKED AT AND REPAIRED. YES OLD BUT IN GREAT CONDITION MECHANICALLY WITH A VITAL PART OF THE CAR NOT CODE FOR CHICAGO FROM THE BEGINNING WITH A CONTINUED ISSUE UP TO TODAY. CARS THAT WERE NEW AND A FEW YEARS WERE GETTING THEM REPLACED. I THAT EVEN SAFE AFTER THE REPAIR? I STILL HAVE VALUE IN THIS CAR AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FORFIT FROM GROSS NEGLIGENCE ON HYUNDAI MOTORS ON A VITAL PART OF THE CAR. I WAS CONSIDERING A TRADE BUT NOW FIND OUT ITS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE FOR MANY MODELS.

FUEL SENSOR BAD, GAUGE MOVES FROM FULL TO EMPTY BEFORE MY EYES ON A FULL TANK OF GAS. ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, LOW FUEL LIGHT COMES ON. MECHANIC TELLS ME THAT THIS SHOULD BE COVERED BY HYUNDAI WITH A RECALL BUT THERE IS NO RECALL. WORRIES ME CONSTANTLY, HAVE TO FILL UP AFTER 60 MILES EVERY TIME

HELLO SO I TOOK MY 07 HYUNDAI SANTA FE LIMITED 98K MILES TO A GARAGE TO GET SOME WORK DONE AND THEY PUT IT ON THE LIFT AND STOPED THE WORK TO CALL ME IN TO SEE THAT MY SUBFRAME IN FRONT IS RUSTED THROUGH BIG CHUNKS OF METAL MISSING MAINLY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF FRAME. I WAS TOLD THAT THEIR IS A RECALL ABOUT THIS AND THAT HYUNDAI HAS REPLACED THE SUBFRAMES AS A RESULT OF THE RECALL I HAVE NO IDEA WHY UNDER THE CAR ONLY THAT ONE AREA IT'S RUSTED BUT THE REST OF CAR IS FINE. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND WAS TOLD AT ANY TIME THE ENGINE COULD FALL THROUGH. I WILL ATTACH SOME PHOTOS OF IT THE BEST I CAN. HOPE YOU CAN HELP. I GOT KIDS THAT RIDE IN THIS AND I'M NOW SCARED. FUEL SENSOR PROBLEMS, FUEL LIGHT ON, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON, BOTH GO OUT WHEN TANK IS ABOUT (I WOULD ESTIMATE) 7/8 TO ABOUT 1/2 A TANK BUT ARE ON AT FULL AND I'M GUESSING 7/16 AND BELOW. I CAN PRETTY MUCH ESTIMATE MY MILEAGE BUT WITH 2 CHILDREN ABOUT TO GET THEIR LICENSE I FEEL THIS WOULD BE HAZARDOUS IF NOT DANGEROUS SHOULD THEY RUN OUT OF GAS ON A PARKWAY OR EXPRESSWAY. WITH ALL THE COMPLAINTS IT SHOULD BE RATED AS A RECALL AND FIXED. SEEMS TO ME THAT IT OCCURS ONCE THE BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY EXPIRES AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE DRIVE TRAIN WARRANTY.

AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON FOR NO REASON KNOWN TO ME. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME IT NEED TO BE REPLACED. ITS THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG

IT STARTED OFF AS WHAT SEEMED LIKE JUST THE BULBS BURNING OUT IN ANY WHICH LIGHT. THEN MY PASSENGER WINDOW STOPPED WORKING THEN STARTED WORKING. THE LIGHTS STILL WERE HAVING ISSUES. IT TOOK A BIT FOR ME TO REALIZE THAT THERE IS A SHORT OR SOMETHING IN THE CAR. THE LIGHTS GO OUT THEN COME BACK ON THEN SWITCH WHICH ONE IS OUT. THE WORST TIME WAS WHEN IT WENT IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND CAME BACK OUT WITH NO LIGHTS WORKING. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS NO FOUL PLAY AND THEY CHECKED THEIR CAMERA. I'VE HAD THE LIGHTS LOOKED AT MULTIPLE TIMES BY MULTIPLE DIFFERENT COMPANIES. IT NEVER FIXES THE PROBLEM PERMANENTLY. A FEW WEEKS AGO THE BACK RIGHT PASSENGER LOCK STOPPED WORKING THEN THE NEXT WEEK THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW AGAIN. THEN YESTERDAY THE LOCK STARTED TO WORK AND TODAY IT DOESN'T AGAIN. AND SPEEDOMETER IS OFF. HARD TO SAY BY HOW MUCH. DEPENDS ON WHICH SPEED READER I GO BY.

HYUNDAI ISSUED A RECALL RECENTLY RELATED TO THE ABS MODULE, WHICH CAN RESULT IN A FIRE. I CALLED HYUNDAI AND SCHEDULED A SERVICE APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE, AND AFTER WAITING FOR AN HOUR ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO ORDER PARTS. THEY KNEW THE PROBLEM AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BEFORE I CAME FOR THE APPOINTMENT, THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AND PUTS DRIVERS IN DANGER BY EXTENDING TIME SPENT DRIVING WITH THIS COMBUSTION HAZARD. IT HAS NOW BEEN TWO WEEKS (ON MONDAY) SINCE THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP ORDERED THE PARTS AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR. I CALLED LAST WEEK TO CHECK IN AND THEY SAID THAT THE PART STILL HAD NOT BEEN RECEIVED AND THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT ARRIVED. GIVEN THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH, IT SEEMS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE THAT HYUNDAI IS TAKING THIS LONG AND NOT PROVIDING A SAFE ALTERNATIVE VEHICLE WHILE AFFECTED CUSTOMERS ARE WAITING ON THE PARTS.

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REMOVED AND COMPENSATE THE VALUE TO PREVENT LOSS OF MY HUMAN LIFE OR OF ANOTHER PERSON
