Ford F-150 Rear Axle and Hub Replacement: It has been 130 days since I received Safety Recall Notice 25S82 / NHTSA Recall 25V512 from Ford stating parts were available and to contact my local dealer for repairs. I did so and they told me they do not have the parts I have followed up with them three times and I am still waiting for parts. Should these part fail on the highway it could leave me stranded or worst case scenario I could lose control and crash. I need NHTSA to put pressure on for to get this done!

The vibration occurs consistently above approximately 40 mph and becomes more pronounced at highway speeds. It is felt in: • Gas pedal • Underbody near shifter • Steering wheel • Seat Despite numerous repair attempts and replacement of major drivetrain components, the vibration has not been permanently resolved. Truck keeps throwing road force on brand new tires as well. Repairs and attempts have included: • Tire pressure corrections • Multiple tire balances and road force balancing • Replacement of all four tires • Subsequent rebalancing of the replacement tires after road force values continued to fluctuate • Additional tire replacement when road force variation repeatedly returned despite proper balancing • Replacement of both front hubs • Replacement of both front axles • Replacement of front steering knuckles • Replacement of front differential ring and pinion bearing kit • Replacement of right front axle • Replacement of transfer case • Replacement of front driveshaft • Diagnostic tire swapping from another vehicle for comparison At one point, test tires from another truck were installed to isolate the concern, which resulted in the vibration spreading further into the steering wheel and seat. The issue affects drivability and confidence in the vehicle at highway speeds. Current visit beginning January 7, 2026: Vehicle has remained at the dealership continuously with no return to me and no confirmed repair completion (now exceeding 40 consecutive days). I’ve been advised by McGovern Ford in Massachusetts that I need ABS Module and an Electronic Brake Booster and it isn’t covered by any warranty. Yet it’s a safety hazard and the truck is only 2 1/2 years old. Why would those 2 items need to be replaced on a newer truck.

Fuel/Propulsion System
Filed Feb 24, 2026MI

While accelerating from a stop light, my 2023 F-150 Powerboost failed to properly accelerate and my gas pedal stopped working around 20-25 mph. I reported this to the Ford dealership immediately and drove straight to service bay. The failure repeated 3-4 more time before arriving. There was no engine light or error code so the dealership couldn't "fix anything". 16 hours later, the truck engine struggled to stay running, my gas pedal wouldn't engage again, I couldn't accelerate, and I had it towed to the dealership. I'm being told the Fuel Pump Driver Module failed and that it's not covered under the powertrain warranty - my concern is that this failed module creates a significant safety risk which leaves the vehicle inoperable while driving but Ford is treating it as a minor failure and not covering under warranty.

On 3 separate occasions, while traveling at highway speeds on the NJ Garden State Parkway in the left lane, my truck’s service engine light soon wrench would come on out of nowhere, the throttle would cut out, and the gas pedal would go limp and unresponsive. The only way to get it operational again was to turn the truck off, let it sit for 10-15 min to drain the computers, and restart. Imagine doing 70-75 mph in the left most lane and you lose all throttle and have to get your vehicle all the way to the right shoulder without the ability to speed up to avoid being hit in the process. Now imagine that same thing happening 3 times within a month. The dealership found failed factory power train wiring and a failed gateway module. This truck’s a 2023 with 50k highway miles. Shouldn’t be failing like this. Now it’s been at the dealership for 3 weeks…..

Took my truck into a Ford dealership for an oil change and they gave me a part that broke off the left rear hub. Talked to service dept they said safe to drive unless I hear knocking from the back of vehicle. Also the part to fix it is unavailable. My concern is they said it's ok to drive but the wheel could come off of the axle.

I have an open recall that has not been fixed. I’ve been reaching out to my nearest ford dealership and all I get back is the part is”ordered” or still on “back order”. I’ve been waiting since December for this to be resolved and still nothing. I bought the truck in November and immediately had it looked at. Now anything after market wheels/tires/supsension or lifts no shop wants to be liable or comfortable working on my truck until the recall is complete.

The bolt related to this recall inevitably broke on 11/23/25 at 43,842 miles. Ford of Upland took my truck and provided me with a loaner vehicle for about a month and a half, until demanding that I return the loaner vehicle. I had no choice but to take my truck back as I do not have a second vehicle, and they didn’t offer me a solution. At the time of writing this, I have put ~800 miles on the truck since the bolt sheared off. It is now making a terrible noise from the rear end, which I have expressed to Ford of Upland, Colley Ford, and Ford Customer Service.. with no resolve. Ford Customer Service told me over the phone that they are “hoping” to have the parts to fix my truck in Q3 of this year (2026). I purchased this truck as it fit my everyday needs. I often tow which made this truck a good candidate. As I understand, the truck is not currently safe to drive, and definitely not capable of towing. Not having a capable truck is unacceptable. It seems that Ford is incapable of providing a reasonable solution. The truck has been “out of service” since 11/23/25, nearly 3 months at the time of writing this.

Ford has failed to complete the pending recall after 6 months. Ford states on their app and the letter they sent that they have a remedy and theparts to complete the safety recall. However, when you actually talk to someone at Ford or the dealer they have no parts and can not give an eta of when they will have parts. The dealer, Group 1 Ford of Pensacola, has advised in December that they had 125 recall kits in transit and they would notify me when they arrived. I can not get anyone at the dealer to return calls, emails, or text concerning a time line for repair.

Re: Safety Recall 25S82/NHTSA Recall 25V512. I received this recall notice in August, 2025. Never received any more info. I contacted the Ford dealer here on February 2, 2026. I was told the axle parts are still not available and it will be 6-8 more months which makes the total response time 11-13 months. I was put on a waiting list. In the meantime my pickup axle could fail causing a crash as outlined in the recall notice. Ford is not taking the recall serious. Please look into this situation as Ford is failing to do followup communication with the vehicle owners. My pickup rear axle is clicking and popping and rolls when in Park until the Parking Brake is applied. All symptoms as stated in the recall. Safety Manufacturer Recall Number 25S82 was issued 8/11/2025, with no ETA on when parts will be available for fix. It's been almost 6 months with the same status, and my dealership telling me they are 41,000 place in line to receive the parts when they are available. People are making monthly payments on these newer vehicles and chose to do so with it in mind that newer vehicles will be safer and more reliable, especially with recalls covered under warranty and should be fixed in a timely manner. With the number of vehicles this recall affects, it's understandable that some time is expected for the repair to be completed, but people are left with this broken part and no loaner vehicle to drive and no time frame when parts are expected to be available, affecting job security and livelihoods.

I experience a failure related to Manufacturer Recall Number23S65 NHTSA Recall Number23V896 Recall Status Recall Incomplete I had this recall completed 7/29/25 at Faricy Boys Ford in Salida, CO On 01/13/2026 this repair/parts failed while I was traveling. I had to have my truck towed to Phil Long Ford in Raton, NM for repair. I was told this was a result of the recall and it would be covered . However, they still cannot give me an eta for parts and repair. They also do not have rentals or loaners and there are no car rentals in Raton, NM. Neither the dealership or Ford Customer Service have authorized a rental for me yet. I am a full time RV'er with my travel trailer parked in Las Cruces, NM for the winter. I returned here 1/14 by renting a Uhaul van which was ridiculously expensive and have been here in Las Cruces since then, with no means of transportation. The dealership initially told me the last one of these recalls took 5 weeks for parts. When the parts fail the rear axle disengages from the drive line. You cannot move, and in park the truck rolls. This recall has been going for a couple of years and there are no replacement parts available. I will need transportation to move my trailer to a new job in Colorado before the end of April. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Complaint Description The vehicle is equipped with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission that exhibits erratic and unpredictable shifting behavior. The transmission frequently hesitates, shifts harshly, or delays engagement, particularly when accelerating from a stop, slowing down, or attempting to merge into traffic. At times, the vehicle fails to deliver power when the accelerator is pressed, creating a delay in acceleration. This is especially dangerous when pulling into intersections, making left turns across traffic, or merging onto roadways where immediate and predictable power is required to avoid collisions. The transmission also downshifts harshly and unexpectedly, causing sudden jerking and brief deceleration. These events can occur without warning and increase the risk of loss of vehicle control or rear-end collisions, particularly in stop-and-go traffic or at low speeds. In addition, the transmission often clunks or lurches into gear, including when shifting from park to drive or reverse. This creates unsafe conditions in parking lots and low-speed environments where precise vehicle control is necessary to avoid pedestrians or other vehicles. Because these issues occur inconsistently and without warning, the driver cannot reliably anticipate vehicle response. This unpredictability represents a safety defect that increases the risk of a crash during normal driving conditions.

This causes the main screen to go black, reboot, or freeze while moving at highway speeds (70+ MPH). This creates an immediate distraction hazard and disables navigation instructions during high-speed traffic flow. The vehicle's shielding is insufficient to protect the driver from this predictable external interference, leading to a recurring safety hazard in a known dead zone."

I am reporting a failure of the manufacturer to provide a timely and safe remedy for Safety Recall 25V512. My local dealer, Springdale Ford in Springdale, Arkansas, officially advised me NOT to drive the vehicle on December 12, 2025, after a routine oil change, citing it as unsafe and at risk of a crash/rollaway. However, Ford has not provided a loaner or rental vehicle and has no ETA for parts. I am currently being forced to choose between driving an unsafe vehicle and being without a vehicle. They are considering giving me a rental vehicle, but the rental company they partner with does not allow their vehicles to tow RV trailers, which is why we purchased the Ford F-150. I am making monthly payments on the Ford truck and our RV travel trailer, plus insurance for both and storage fees for the RV, all while unable to drive our newly purchased vehicle of 6 months. Ford is failing to fulfill its obligation to remedy this safety defect in a reasonable manner. To compound this setback, they have asked us to increase our monthly payment by $200 to trade in our truck for a comparable vehicle, as if this were our fault.
