2026 Winnebago View

Defect. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Spirit, Minnie Winnie, Travato, View, Navion, and 2026-2027 Sunflyer, 2021-2026 Commercial vehicle, and 2023-2026 425 Commercial shell motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.

Risk. A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 16, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 201.

Defect. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Revel Sport, 2024-2025 Vita, 2025 Porto, Adventure Wagon, 2024-2026 View, Revel, Navion, and Ekko motorhomes. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted.

Risk. Damaged wires can prevent air bags from deploying in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and re-route the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2025. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 199.

The right side of the forward passenger seat back fell off after a screw came out. The second screw still holding the back of the seat upright was very loose. The left side of the seat bracket screws were also loose. The second passenger seat is wobbly, which looks like the screws holding the back might also be loose. Luckily, this occurred while the vehicle was stationary, and no injuries occurred. The second seat is available for inspection. I have photos showing the issue, and the coach is currently at the dealer for inspection of the second seat. No items were investigated by authorities, and no warning indicators were given. This issue occurred on the 4th of July, 2026.

NHTSA Safety Recall# 26V-016/Winnebago recall 201 was completed on my coach before delivery. The replacement part is falling off, as was identified in the NHTSA recall. The dealer has the coach if additional inspection or information is needed. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the heater failing. The exact time of failure is unknown, but it was noticed on July 10th, 2026. Talked with the dealer and advised to notify NHTSA regarding recurrence of the issue.
