Defect. ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE LOWER BY-PASS COOLANT HOSE CAN RUPTURE.
Risk. A LOSS OF COOLANT FROM THE ENGINE CAN RESULT IN THE ENGINE OVERHEATING AND SEIZURE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE COOLANT HOSE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 8, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TRIUMPH AT 1-678-854-2010.
UPON STARTING MY 2005 TRIUMPH TIGER I NOTICED A LOT OF GASOLINE SPRAYING ON TO THE ENGINE FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BIKE BY THE END OF THE GAS TANK, RIGHT BY THE SEAT. *NM
