I am concerned regarding the safety of this model and the hydraulic brake control unit/ ABS as I live in colorado it’s about to be snow season and my wife drives this vehicle to work on snow days. I’ve read the part failure can cause abs to fail and may lead to crash. Recall notice states no known remedy, and it’s been almost a year since the notice was issued.

Since the recall was announced, my truck has experienced constant ABS and traction control alarms, including an unending beeping warning chime that makes the vehicle unpleasant and unsafe to drive. My local Ram dealer confirms that the repair parts (HCU/ABS module) are not available and that there is no estimated time frame for replacement. This situation has now persisted for months, leaving me with: •A continuously beeping alarm while driving or idling, •A loss of confidence in braking and safety systems, •And a significant loss in resale value, since I cannot sell or trade the vehicle while this open safety recall remains unresolved. Impact This recall defect has made my vehicle effectively undriveable and unsellable. I have made multiple attempts to have it repaired, but the dealer and Stellantis representatives continue to tell me that parts remain on national backorder. As a result, I am deprived of the safe and normal use of my property. Under 49 U.S.C. § 30120, a manufacturer must provide a free and timely remedy for a safety defect. The ongoing delay and the lack of any interim solution (such as a loaner or disabling the alarm) clearly violate the spirit of this requirement and constitute a constructive deprivation of use. Requested Action I respectfully request that Stellantis: 1.Provide a functional remedy immediately (replacement HCU or equivalent). 2.If parts are still unavailable, provide a loaner vehicle, temporary compensation, or buyback option until the repa

The 8.4 inch Uconnect touch screen is delaminating. This allows constant changes of most functions of the truck. Heating/defroster, radio, clock, Navigation etc all keep changing/beepinf/alerting on there own due to the defective u connect screen. This is very distracting and dangerous to drive status. The U connect keeps asking for the drivers attention. Constant changes and beeps to get the drivers attention and make selections on the U connect screen creates a crash risk. CHRYSLER knows this is an issue and will not do a voluntary recall. There is a class action lawsuit due to owners facing financial and safety risks. The truck is a 2018 Ram 2500 with only 16,000 miles. Stored in a climate protected building. There are many forums discussing this issue. 2018 Dodge/Ram products are well known for this safety defect.
Rear camera doesn’t fully work. I’ve already had to have it replaced once it’s blurry and it’s a big vehicle causing me to almost run over a child.

I purchased a used pickup truck in October 2023 from a dealership in South Holland, Illinois. After the purchase, I later discovered that the odometer reading on the vehicle had been rolled back. A Chrysler dealership’s service record showed the vehicle had over 188,000 miles earlier in 2023, but it was sold to me showing around 129,000 miles. This is a difference of almost 60,000 miles. When I contacted the selling dealership, they blamed the auction they purchased it from and have not provided any resolution. Because of this discrepancy, I was denied extended warranty coverage and had to pay out-of-pocket for major repairs soon after purchase. I am submitting this report so it can be documented as a potential case of odometer fraud and investigated further.
The ABS system continuously dings and the cruise control will not work and shuts itself off due to recalled defective part. Waiting for new recall part!!!!!!! Why was a recall issued with no part to fix??? Make them get their act together. This is dangerous and maddening to listen to constant bell ringing in the vehicle. Not to mention the possibility of an accident. This vehicle is my daily driver. I need the vehicle to be operational and safe.
Radio screen delamination. Causing ghost touch screen constantly changing radio, settings, calling people, messing with vehicle settings. Connection to OnStar service when not needed and then not able to control the radio to make changes. 100% dangerous and unsafe. Talked to 3 dealership and was told nothing in warrant or recalls but it's a known issue your with pay 100% cost or live with it..

Experiencing persistent ABS and Anti skid lights flashing on dash board along with persistent dinging, which has become very annoying. Took the vehicle to my nearest Ram dealership and they ran a diagnostic on it and told me that it was a faulty ABS/HCU causing the problem, but that there were no parts available to repair it. They said they would call and schedule an appointment to have it repaired as soon as the parts become available. I don’t know if I can wait much longer, as the constant dinging is very upsetting to my wife, who normally drives the truck.

The ABS and and electric circuit lights came on, on the dash. Then a week later my Transmission started acting up. I had it into the shop and they are saying the 2 are related. They have given me the paperwork showing how the code that comes up is from the recall and the paperwork showing it can trigger the transmission control module. The manufacturer made the recall back in December of 2024. They have yet to come up with a fix. Now we have a none drivable truck that has to sit until they find a fix. I am still making payments on this vehicle and they have nothing to say. We are almost coming up on a year, where is the liability?

The recall for the ABS, C4B is still NOT resolved and is affecting other systems. I believe RAM headquarters are not interested in the repair. I have reached out and now they blocked me on social media because I complained publicly and posted the recall. They could at least replace with the same and it should work for awhile anyways. I just keep getting the same notice about it. PLEASE HELP

Recall 24V-896, cannot be repaired, no repair timeline in site, vehicle is coding and dealership has confirmed code. Driving cruise will turn off and braking system becomes difficult and unstable. Warning systems come one. Dealership attempted to repair but manufacture advised they were not allowed to do so because it would not be permanent. Dealership has advised to park unit and contact Chrysler for buyback. We have called Chrysler customer care daily for 3 weeks with no success and no end in sight. The will not provide daily driver solution, vehicle replacement or repair fix. This is part of our daily driver to and from work and to and from farm to carry trailer with cattle. It is unsafe without proper braking system functioning and dealership has confirmed this and advised us to not operate. Chrysler has also advised us to not operate since it has coded but has offered no options. Dealership confirmed code on or about 8/22/2025

Recall 24V-896 was announced on 11-27-2024. The recall states that this may cause an unsafe driving condition for the vehicle. Stellantis has not resolved this problem and states that the part is unavailable. Stellantis lists the replacement for the defective hydraulic control unit (HCU) part #68143491AB as available for purchase. This delay is unacceptable, with thousands of potentially unsafe trucks on the highways.

Truck was "repaired" under Recall V06. Drag link/track bar was welded in place, which was supposed to be a temporary fix until parts became available to replace the bad drag link. In Mar of this year, I had the ball joints replaced. Upon repair, my steering wheel was cocked to the left in order to drive straight. Brought the truck back to have that repaired. Service center told me that because the part had been welded, they would have to break the weld, center the steering wheel, and reweld the part. That took place but did not fix the problem. My truck still turns right when the steering wheel is level. I have since been caught between Ram Customer Care and the dealership with each telling me the other needs to "do something" and both referring me to the other for assistance. I have attached photos of the work done and a copy of the recall. The weld job done on my truck is horrible, if not unsafe. But, I have to drive my truck. I think Ram is taking advantage of the good faith the Administration has shown them by allowing them to decide whether to make the replacement of the part. It should be mandatory. Probably thousands of Ram trucks in a similar situation on America's roads. The welded adjustment sleeve makes a proper alignment of the steering wheel impossible. The alignment is designed to be adjusted. Finally, I noted that the dealership violated the "do not sell" of the recall. I bought the truck in March 2019, without the recall call work done - unbeknownst to me. The

What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
