While driving I noticed a message that said “service electrical brake system. I took it to my local Ram dealer. They hooked up a tablet that said there was something wrong with the ABS module and it needs to be replaced. The tech then told me that there are no ABS modules available anywhere in the country, they are on back order. So here is where the complaint begins. If there are none available, that would suggest to me that an awful lot of these ABS modules have gone bad and had to be replaced I then called Ram customer service and they requested I get an order number and part number from my local Ram dealer. I did so and they had another customer service person call and when I spoke to her she said the ABS modules are unavailable because they are currently under review by their engineers. Which tells me that there is something wrong with the ABS modules. There isn’t much more of a safety hazard then not having brakes. I don’t see why a recall has not been initiated by Ram or Chrysler for these ABS modules. I am asking you to start an investigation into this problem. The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel failed to turn in the intended direction. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while a trailer was hitched to the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact stated that the failure became persistent. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 81,516.
The power steering on my 2019 Ram pickup keeps going off so that i am forced to muscle the steering wheel when making turns. I filed a claim on this previously but never heard back from you. It takes quite a bit of strength to manuever the truck without power steering and this is quite unsafe in my opinion; for example, I do not allow my wife or daughter to drive the truck with this dangerous situation. I also took my vehicle into the local dealer for repair of this issue. They told me I had a weak battery with "low codes" and charged me $400 for a new battery. They told me they could not find anything else to report. Very frustrating!!!! MY 2019 RAM 1500 CLASSIC SLT CREW CAB, has a serious safety DEFECT of a Remote Frequency (RF) hub, a critical component responsible for recognizing the key fob and enabling the vehicle to start which won't allow fob to work or remote start. This is caused by the rear light back window has a recurring leak that has resulted in water intrusion into the vehicle. This water damage led to the failure of the Remote Frequency (RF) hub, a critical component. The issue has also resulted in corrosion to wiring harnesses and electrical components. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This issue has put mine and my wife's safety at risk on multiple occasions. The vehicle has repeatedly failed to recognize the key fob, rendering it completely inoperable as well as the remote starter. I've been left stranded multiple times due to this defect causing keyfob to not work not allowing me to enter the vehicle either when needed especially when my wife is alone at night in this vehicle. Additionally, electrical failures pose a fire hazard and could potentially affect other critical systems while the vehicle is in operation. There are thousands of ram truck owners also complaining of the exact same issue. I have incurred expenses such as tow fee's and shop fee's when we can't enter the vehicle when posing only the fob on our person and diagnostics of this issue. THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED AS THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN
The truck overheated and stalled and could not be restarted. The coolant level had fallen to a dangerously low level. The car was inspected and it is determined to be a coolant leak in the EGR valve body.
I took my 2019 Ram 1500 to a Ram dealer on 10/21/2024 for the Anti-lock Breaking System Module Configuration Mismatch safety recall 75B/NHTSA 24V-653. There were no warning lights on in my vehicle when it was dropped off. When the dealership attempted to apply the safety recall it caused something in the ABS module to fail, and they then said I needed a new ABS module that will cost $500-$700 to replace. This failure has disabled traction control, antilock braking, and auto start/stop. The dealer said they did not have the ABS module and had no ETA as to when it would be in stock. The ABS module has been out of stock nationally for months with no estimated time of availability. Now, there are warning lamps and messages for the ABS and Traction Control. Now, I am unsure if the vehicle is safe to drive in adverse conditions where ABS and traction control would likely be needed. At the very least, a major part like an ABS Module should be available for a fairly late model vehicle. This defect "repair" has obviously caused the ABS Module failure. The dealer tried to say there was already something wrong with the ABS Module before the repairs were attempted, but neither I nor they noted any warning lamps or messages before the repairs were attempted. If the module had already failed but did not produce any warnings, that sounds like another defect that they should be required to repair.
Water leak from inside back window
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while her husband was driving approximately 50-55 MPH, the ABS warning light illuminated. The 4WD not available message was displayed. The contact stated that the vehicle was fishtailed while driving. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving on the highway at 45 MPH, the steering wheel had become stiff and experienced difficulty in steering the vehicle. The contact continued to drive his vehicle until reaching his residence where the vehicle was parked and inspected, upon restarting the vehicle a message appeared on the instrument panel stating "Power Steering Assist Disabled", no warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V812000 (STEERING) as probable cause for the failure experienced. The approximate failure mileage was 73,935.
Making a slight left, turn the steering wheel sticks
I took my vehicle in for an unrelated issue, a wheel speed sensor that was throwing codes. When I brought it in they advised me about a serious engine oil leak. This issue is too fold. . As far as I'm concerned this should have been a recall due to its seriousness. The housing for the oil filter is made of plastic mounted on the engine block. I live in Buffalo New York, where we were experiencing Sub-Zero to zero temperatures it is not unlike putting a hot glass in cold water it cracks, also if it is tightened too much it can also crack, which shortly before this incident I did have it in for an oil change and tire rotation, suggestion would be to perhaps make the part out of aluminum. This could have caused a serious issue with oil splashing back on the rear tires causing a spin out, possible accident, possible injury or worse. Mopar has known about this as far as I can tell from my research as far back as 2013 on the 3.2 and 3.6 Pentastar in their Jeep products in fact there was a 2012 Jeep in for service with the same problem. Apparently this has continued on the same engine in Ram also. I was told by the service people at Joe Cecconi Chrysler in Niagara Falls New York that it was nothing that I did wrong. I certainly believe that since they knew about this for such a long time that they should reimburse at least in part, if not in total of that related service up to including other parts related to this issue and the oil. I am further concerned about this being a continui
ABS sensor isn't working so it doesn't stop correctly. They say they can't get a new one because they are back ordered so this must be happening to other Ram trucks besides mine if they are back ordered so far out they can give me an ETA on one.
The backlite window on my 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie (VIN: KN655467) has a recurring leak that has resulted in water intrusion into the vehicle. This water damage led to the failure of the Remote Frequency (RF) hub, a critical component responsible for recognizing the key fob and enabling the vehicle to start. The issue has also resulted in corrosion to wiring harnesses and electrical components. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This issue has put my safety at risk on multiple occasions. The vehicle has repeatedly failed to recognize the key fob, rendering it completely inoperable. On two separate occasions, I was left stranded and had to have the vehicle towed. Additionally, electrical failures pose a fire hazard and could potentially affect other critical systems while the vehicle is in operation. The issue has been confirmed and reproduced by the authorized RAM dealership. The dealership determined that water intrusion from the backlite window caused the failure of the RF hub and other electrical components. Despite this, RAM/Stellantis has refused to replace the backlite window under warranty, only applying a temporary sealant fix that has repeatedly failed. The vehicle has been inspected by RAM dealership technicians multiple times. Each time, the dealership has confirmed water intrusion as the source of electrical failures. RAM/Stellantis has been made aware of the issue but refuses to properly address it. There were no warning lamps or messages before t
Fuel tank roll over valve gets stuck closed especially in cold weather conditions causing the vehicle to be unable to take fuel into the tank. Gas pumps keeps clicking off and fuel comes out of the filler neck onto the floor, multiple ram owners complaining of same problem, multiple forums online complaining of issue, many owners have been sticking a wire or pipe down the filler neck in order to disengage the closed roll over valve but issue persist shorty after. Potential fire hazard
When I get in my truck I have to wait for a long period of time before my steering wheel will unlock. After it unlocks it drives good. It’s just take 30-45 mins for the steering to unlock before I can drive it.
Back lite(back glass) frame cracked and leaking
Issue with rear door not latching closed when temperatures are below freezing. When attempting to close the door it will just bounce back open. I had to use a ratchet strap to keep the door closed while driving home. Vehicle was taken back to dealership who verified the issue and replaced door latch. Issue occurred again after new latch when left in freezing temperatures. Online research shows numerous people having the same issue and it could be related to water/moisture getting inside the door and freezing in a U shape bend in the door latch cable.
I am experiencing an Antilock Braking System ('ABS') control module software malfunction that disables the Electronic Stability Control ('ESC') system. Last fall Sept 2024 was the first incident. I was driving back one night to my cabin construction project in Somerset, PA. It rained earlier in the day and everything was wet. I was almost back to the site, my dash lights started wildly flashing. The ESC SYSTEM OFF displayed, the (ABS) light illuminated along with SERVICE THE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM. The front passenger side tire started to shake, just as I was trying to avoid a large pothole around a bend. My truck slid straight across it and slammed my front end down in the ditch. I had NO CONTROL. It caused my side airbags to deploy and the seatbelts to lock up. I drove out of the ditch, the truck was ok. I was close so i drove to the cabin. The next morning I inspected everything, in addition: the front bumper was bent, fog light hanging, wheel well was bent, and there were a lot of scratches. I am a small business owner, I didn't want my insurance to go up, and was waiting until I could afford to fix it. The latest incidents were during the last two weeks. First, I was driving on a 70 MPH highway, suddenly service air pressure system displayed and passenger tire pressure went to “0”, the ABS and ESC warnings displayed, and that tire started shaking. I pulled over to check the tire thinking I had a flat , but it was fully inflated. I turned off the truck, waited 5 mins then
Hit a very large cow early in the morning going about 40-45 mph. Not one single airbag deployed. There was no indication that they wouldn't work. The seatbelt was the only thing that kept him was going anywhere... If the airbags had gone off his head and neck wouldn't of snapped forward. We have police report pictures and can get insurance report. Contacted Ram and they said there wasn't anything they could do. After a year of doctors I contacted Ram back and still nothing they can do.
When driving down the road the truck shifter goes to neutral and says put in park and then back in drive. It already happened to me 3 different times . If your driving down the road and it throws it in neutral and there cars around there subject to hit you or you hit someone. Especially if you can't pull over right away.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the vehicle hesitated. There was an abnormal clunking sound coming from the vehicle. The parking brake, traction control, and ABS warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the stability control and AWD were temporarily unavailable. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rear sensor was damaged due to the plate dislodging. The rear plate covers the disk brakes had corroded and the bolt had become loosened. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000.
The E-Torque alternator failed unexpectedly causing me to lose power while driving down a snowy highway. The vehicle shutdown then locked itself in park stranding me on a busy highway in a snowstorm at night time creating a severe safety hazard for myself and other motorists. After taking it to the local Dodge/Chrysler dealership diagnostics said the alternator went bad, however they cannot replace it as the factory currently has 5200 of these alternators on back order. So obviously this part is having major issues with failure. I’m certain it’s caused many unsafe situations. I want to know why there was no recall? Thank you very much for what you do!
See attached document for complaint.
Alternator failure. RAM does not manufacture the part anymore leaving my truck in the shop for over 2 months. Problem has been confirmed by the dealer
I have a 2019 dodge ram and the alternator been out since December 2024 and it's on back order I can't get to work and can't pay on the truck something need to be done about this I need help
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, the steering wheel seized, and the vehicle became difficult to steer. The check power steering warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road and turn the vehicle off. The vehicle was started, and the power steering functionality was independently reset. The contact continued driving; however, the failure recurred a short distance afterward. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and confirmed that the power steering module had failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at 45 MPH, the contact became aware that the electronic power steering was not functioning properly, requiring increased effort to maneuver the vehicle. The power steering warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed failures with the electric power steering control module and steering gear assembly. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V812000 (Steering); but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 113,000.
I have a 2019 Dodge Ram that slips out of gear and an error message comes up on dash "shift to park and then to desired gear". This is extremely dangerous as it happens in traffic. I have taken truck to dealer two times for four days each. They say that they cannot do anything unless they can recreate the same problem. It does not happen all the time but does happen in traffic. I videoed it when it happened but they say they need to see it. I asked if you see it what would you do and the answer is they do not know. I contacted dodge customer service and got a call but it was useless conversations. I see many other dodge truck owners online with same issue including videos too but dodge customer service seems to have no records of other drivers with same problem. Help. It is dangerous and I cannot not get anything other than a run around about they cannot recreate it. Help Help. First visit was 12/2024 and second visit was 01/2025. Katie Marsh and Jason Tasker shop foreman were my contacts at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Leesburg Florida. 1-352-707-4662 . Someone from Dodge customer service corporate called several times but was basically a referee between me and dealer admittly so. The number as 1-844-378-0573. I do not have a name.
My Ram 1500 front drive assembly issue. The initial issue was failure to engage in 4wheel drive. In either 4 wheel low, high or Auto. During replacing the transfer case it became obvious that axle in some way basically became welded to housing so had to replace left axle as well. Do to these problems I now have to replace front differential (part# 68349702AE and right axle (part# 68259567AA) as well because of the failure of transfer case and left axle. My issue is 1st the differential part is not available in my area (Nassau County NY). 2nd is that there is a recall for a faulty gear or bearing in the front drive train that my VIN# is not included in this recall. Could this bearing/gear have caused my issue? 3rd is if the front differential is on such a long back order that is telling me that Stelantis has an issue with the reliability of this part (68349702AE). Why if this is in such demand and numerous problems with them hasn't NHTSA not forced Stalantis to recall these parts. My truck is a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7 Hemi with just 38,677 miles presently today. I have never taken this truck 4 wheeling or on the beach. The only time I have used 4 wheel drive is when the roads are slick due to rain, snow or ice, because of the light rear end. The last time 4 wheel drive was used was last years snow storm. Just don't understand hardly ever used and all this damage, truck was never in a substantial accident. I clipped drivers side back door and small section of bed, minor. Any
My etorque alternator went out at 106k miles. I can't find anyone that sells the part not even at the dealer. I've been without a pickup for a month now.
My vehicle with 70k miles on it has had a failure of the motor generator unit (MGU). This is a mild hybrid system that provides power for the vehicle. My truck is completely unusable per the service technician at the dealership. If I continue driving it the battery power will drain and I will be stranded. It appears it is a bearing failure in the generator. Upon investigation there are numerous cases of other Ram 1500 owners having the same issue at relatively low mileage for such a crucial engine component. The part is currently backordered and I just read a report that there are over 5000 currently ordered in the system, so that would lead me to believe that over 5000 owners are having the same issue. Luckily I was near my home when this occurred as this could have left me stranded. Reports say it could be 1-2 months before parts are in stock to fix the issue. This just seems unreasonable for 5000 customers of a major automotive manufacturer to have potentially dead vehicles for 1-2 months.
I selected other at this issue caused more the 3 items to fail. While driving the truck pretty much every light on the dash would come on, I would lose power steering, speedometer (both digital and analog), all gauges would malfunction, turn signals would not work and pretty much anything electronic would not function properly. At one point, this happened while driving on the interstate using cruise control. The truck was doing fine and then all of the sudden it popped into neutral from cruise and started to malfunction. There were also times where the transmission would not shift gears past first gear so that pretty much made it impossible to drive anywhere. As you can imagine, this is not only a safety issue for myself and my passengers, but also to anyone else on the road. I've seen many other cases of the same issue I experienced online in many forums and I really don't know why there isn't already a recall out for this. When I had my truck serviced to fix the issue, I'm almost positive I saw a recall for the ABS system that pertained to my issue, but after it was serviced I can no longer find that recall. The fix ended up being a replacement of the "star connector". I have a video of the malfunction actively taking place before it was repaired if that would help with anything.
While driving my ram truck, a notice goes across the cluster center saying to shift vehicle to park. No other lights go on like check engine lights etc. But the truck goes to a complete stop and makes you shift in to park then back in to drive this is dangerous because it happens to me while I am driving to include one time coming off the off ramp on the freeway possibly making someone rear end me due to the vehicle stalling I have seen lots of these issues on the ram forum this is downright dangerous. I will take it to the shop but others who have had the same or similar issues state there is no fix and it is random so it is hard to reproduce.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the steering wheel failed to respond. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and the steering wheel failed to respond as needed. The contact slowly drove to the residence. The failure persisted while driving or while the vehicle was stationary. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 193,000.
At times the transmission does not shift from 2 to 3 or 3 to 4 gears. Causes the engine RPM to reach red level. Have to pull over turn off vehicle and restart for the transmission to shift again. This is suppose to be a lifetime transmission and not need any maintenance. It seems to be a common problem on many forums for this particular transmission. Or it jumps into gear instead of the smooth shifting that it is suppose to do. Many people seem to be having the same issues.
The driver reported loud sounds coming from the engine bay and an exhaust smell inside the cab. He mentioned that he passed out due to the fumes entering the cab during a warm up of the truck. An inspection revealed several issues with the exhaust manifold, including cracked manifolds and broken bolts. The cost of repairs was too high for the owner, as it would exceed $2,000.
When i first drive the truck while driving when i am decelerating to come to a stop, the truck will slip out of gear and tell me to put the shifter into park before driving. This has also happened at a yeild sign and while slowing down for a turn. This is very dangerous and someone will be hurt if not addressed. I took to the dealer in Daphne AL Tamaron to get this resolved and a few other things going with the truck the radio a recall on abs system and exhaust leak. witch had nothing to do with this. they were in contact with the auto maker i guess Cylser. they looked at the camshafts and found nothing wrong no does the truck have a codes. I was told to come get my truck because they couldnt find the issue but everything else was fixed. I currently have around 105,000 miles but this has been happening for at least 50k around 30times some almost causing a wreak. i have read that they really havent found an issue besides the wiring harness but not sure this fixed the issue online forms. This will one day cause a fatal accident if not address hopefully not me, or anyone else.
The service Anti-lock brake system, and service electronic braking system, along with the lights come on. Also the electronic stability control (ESC) disables, and that light comes on as well. The cruise control does not work either. My truck year model is 2019, and a recall has been issued (reference number 75B/NHTSA/24V-653) for this same problem, but my vehicle was not included for whatever reason. I Attached some pics. I really hope and pray, that y'all will be able to add it to the recall Thank you
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact stated while making a left turn, the steering wheel seized, and the vehicle was difficult to steer. In addition, the contact stated that an unknown warning light was illuminated. The contact completed making the left turn and drove the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The contact turned the vehicle off. The vehicle was started, and the power steering functionality was independently reset. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000.
I have warning lights stating that there is a problem with the antilock brake system, and another warning about the brakes. The electronic stability light is on , and the truck won't allow me to turn the ESL warning on or off. And also, my cruise control doesn't work, which stems from the ABS . There is an existing recall, which includes the year, make and model of my truck, but for whatever reason, my trucks VIN number is not included on the recall. The recall that I speak of, is : Campaign number: 24V653000 I've contacted RAM, and they said for me ⁶vto take it to the service department, the service department said they can't do anything about it.Sept
When I attempted to suddenly brake once I saw the car in front of me braking, my brakes locked and the truck slid into the vehicle in front of me. The failure of the ESC system did not allow the expected intervention that is relied upon to avoid a vehicle crash without prior warning. I was in the deceleration phase of braking quickly, but the brakes did not respond in a timely manner. I was not made aware of the recall of the ABS control module software until after the accident took place. If I would have been made aware of such a defect I would have taken the precautions and action to repair or remedy the failed system to avoid unnecessary risk to both myself and others. While traveling at low speeds, power steering fails. Dash indicates a warning message “Power steering service unavailable”. There is a recall for this exact issue, same year and model, but my VIN is not included. Diagnostic at dealership shows issue is same as recalled issue but is not able to repair under recall due to VIN. Dealership states cost to repair is $3400.
The issues started with the sunroof not closing. And the uconnect touch screen inoperable ( it went black and no options available ) It seemed to be a fluke and resolved itself. But within a few weeks the icons for the driver and passenger seat heaters were no longer on the screen. Now that the season has changed and temps have dropped, the drivers side heater will automatically come on when the truck is started and it’s below a certain degree outside. It gets crazy hot and will only shut off when the truck is turned off. This was followed by the icons for the radio options resorting themselves and the one for USB disappearing as well. The usb connection still works, but it has to automatically switch over when plugged in, it cannot be manually selected. Lastly the ParkAssist seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it will function as intended. Other times when I start the truck it flashes a warning that the park assist is unavailable and the lights on the switches are on showing it’s been disengaged. When pushed they will flash and then turn solid again. Other times it will happen while I’m driving. There will be a ding and the unavailable warning will flash on the screen. When the icons first disappeared I called mopar/uconnect customer service. They tried to walk me through some diagnostics but none of it worked. They suggested maybe getting a software update. But couldn’t tell me if that would fix it or not. When I asked if it didn’t they just said I’d have to replace
I was turning at a light when my truck gave a message saying “switch to p” and wouldn’t let me accelerate there was no shoulder to pull over so I had to stop in the middle of the road switch to parking and then to drive this is concerning as I research and found out that it has happened to a few other people and RAM is not doing anything about it when the issue is brought to them they treat the problem as a case by case basis claiming they have never heard that problem
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 70 MPH, a warning chime sounded. The contact stated that there were no warning lights illuminated while the chime was sounding. The contact slowed down and heard an abnormal sound underneath the vehicle before the wheels locked up. The vehicle stopped on the roadway independently without the brake pedal being depressed. The contact stated that the engine was running; however, the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The vehicle was towed back to her residence. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Truck will not shut off. Had to disconnect the battery. ESC - Electronic Stability Control Warning came on Scheduled for inspection at dealer. No warning signs just happened suddenly. Would not start, had to jump the truck, then would not shut off followed by ESC warning. My VIN does not come up under the 85B recall but my truck has the issue
When driving in wet road conditions the truck will jerk the steering wheel to the left into oncoming traffic. When the condition happens it’s impossible to hold the steering wheel straight to keep in the proper lane. During dry road conditions the steering works and will remain in the proper lane with no issues
While driving my steering wheel will stick left or right while turning and the power steering is intermittently working. This is a major problem with 2019 ram 1500s. While turning there is also a horrible sound outside the vehicle and it sounds like there is sand being ground up in the steering wheel. This problem makes my vehicle unsafe to drive as i dont know if i will be able to steer or if my steering wheel is going to completely lock up.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH on the highway, the steering seized, and the vehicle became difficult to steer. The contact stated that the vehicle started to veer to the right and the steering wheel was difficult to turn to keep the vehicle in the intended lane. The power steering warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was slowly driven to the residence. The vehicle was previously repaired by the previous owner of the vehicle under an undisclosed NHTSA recall. The local dealer was contacted, and the vehicle was scheduled for repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V653000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
