2015 Nissan Juke

Defect. Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Nissan Juke Nismo RS vehicles. Due to a problem within the brake master cylinder, brake fluid may leak into the brake booster, reducing brake performance.

Risk. If brake fluid leaks into the brake booster it can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake master cylinder, free of charge. The recall began March 19, 2018. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

Breakes not wanting to stop, the petal gets stuck as well and when you fill it up gas fumes come in the vechile that caused me headaches and Nauseous. I reported it to Firestone who seemed to think it wasn't a problem several times, also reported to dealership i could of hit someone or someone hit me . I got two tickes by traffic recorder back to backn 1) petal getting stuck 2) Accelerating because gas petal got stuck. Inspected by Firestone anyone else unknown. I was scared didnt notice any warnings but could of been just got the vehicle from Drivetime 9/9/23

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Juke. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle decelerated to 58 MPH unintendedly. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the PCV valve was replaced; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the engine was blown and needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under an unknown Extended Warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.

My sunroof spontaneously shattered while driving 25 mph and no other cars around me. This seems to be a regular problem known to Nissan but Nissan will take no responsibility for THEIR defective product. $2000 for Nissan to replace.

Driving from Vegas to Los Angeles and 105 plus degree weather car went into limp mode unexpectedly in in 65 mph traffic in the fast lane was almost rear-ended could not accelerate to get off the side of the road for about 5 minutes. Car was jerking and not accelerating pulled over to check out what was wrong smelled burning fluids car would start but would no longer move. About 45 minutes to an hour later after checking all the fluid levels making sure they were at the appropriate level, restarted vehicle attempted to drive home car kept going into limp mode had to keep pulling over. Took the card to dealership because I heard there was some sort of problem with the transmissions and they should have been under warranty when I got there they told me after they try a temporary fix and it would take at least 30 days to get a new transmission (technically not new rebuilt same transmission that is flawed in the first place)for my car even though it was one of the transmissions pertaining to the bulletin issue by the Nissan corp. My car now lacks acceleration is still having difficulty going right into gear and makes an audible (inside the cabin of the vehicle) grating sound whenever I drive it Putting back in a rebuilt transmission that is bad because it doesn't have a large enough cooling system for it doesn't make any sense to me. It creates a hazard every time I drive in 100° weather or above I'm going to have to worry about possibly being rear-ended on the freeway because the

The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed and it was determined that the transmission needed to be repaired. Additionally, coolant was leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The contact detected smoke coming from the steering wheel. While driving the vehicle stalled. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The horn and radio became inoperable. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the starter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.

VEHICLE DOES NOT RESPOND TO ACCELARATOR IN MOTION IN A CITY STREET

SATURDAY 12/26/20 DRIVING SOUTH ON FM-1314 AROUND 5PM AT 60MPH, I HEARD LIKE A GUNSHOT FOLLOWED BY BROKEN GLASS, I LOOK EVERYWHERE AROUND THINKING SOMEONE SHOT AT ME OR OTHER CARS BEHIND ME AND NOTICED NOTHING. SECONDS LATER I NOTICED GLASS ON THE PASSENGER SEAT. MY SUNROOF WAS COMPLETELY OPEN, SO I TRIED TO CLOSE IT AS SOON I NOTICED THE GLASS AND IS WHEN I FOUND OUT IT WAS SHATTERED. I WENT TO A NEAR HEB TO USE THE VACUUM TO CLEAN THE GLASS, BEFORE THAT I TOOK PICTURES AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THE GLASS BLOW OR EXPLODED LIKE SOMETHING HIT FROM INSIDE CREATING LIKE A DOME. SINCE THE SUNROOF WAS OPEN NO WAY A ROCK OR DEBRIS HIT THE GLASS SINCE IS RETRACTED INSIDE THE ROOD OF THE JUKE. THANK GOD I JUST GOT STARTLED AND MY REACTION WAS QUICK AND I DIDN'T FINISHED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD CREATING AN ACCIDENT. I OPEN A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY MINUTES AFTER THAT, NOT SURE YET HOW MUCH IS TO REPAIRED IT.

CVT TRANSMISSION GETS STUCK. HAPPENS MOSTLY IN TRAFFIC. RPMS GET STUCK AT 5000, CAR DOES NOT WANNA DRIVE. ENGINE HAS TO BE SHUT OFF AND THEN TURNED BACK ON.

VEHICLE STARTED JERKING AND THE RPM GAUGE WAS MOVING UP AND DOWN WHILE IN MOTION. I HAD TO KEEP BREAKING AND PUSHING THE GAS AS IT WOULD ACCELERATE ON IT'S OWN. WE TOOK IT TO GET SCANNED AT AUTO ZONE, SCAN SAID IT'S THE TRANSMISSION PRESSURE SENSOR. OTHER NISSAN VEHICLES HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE WITH THEIR CVT TRANSMISSION.

THE DISPLAY PANEL THAT CONTROLS RADIO, VOLUME, NAVIGATION, CAMERA AND APPS IS OUT. THE VEHICLE SHAKES WHILE IN IDLE A EITHER AT A RED LIGHT OR WHEN THE CAR IS IS IN PARK AND RUNNING. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND OR DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, THE CAR SLOWS DOWN AND WILL NOT ACCELERATE. IF I PRESS THE GAS TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF ON COMING TRAFFIC THE CAR SKIPS AND DOES NOT GO OVER 40 MPH. I TRY TO GET TO THE FAR LANE IN HOPE'S OF NOT BEING HIT. I TURN THE CAR OFF AND TRY TO START IT AGAIN AND THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, TRY AGAIN TO START IT AND IT SLOWLY MOVES UNTIL IT GAINS SPEED AND I KEEP MY HAZARDS ON, ENGINE LIGHT GOES OFF AND IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS PERIODICALLY EVER SINCE.

WHILE DRIVING MY 2015 NISSAN JUKE (70+ MPH) ON THE HIGHWAY THE CVT STYLE TRANSMISSION STARTED ACTING STRANGE. IT WOULD REV UP AND BOTTOM OUT CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO JERK/LURCH A LOT. AT JUST UNDER 90,000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPLACED. THAT STILL DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM COMPLETELY. THE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD HAD TO BE REPLACED. AT 90,000 MILES THERE WAS LEAKAGE UNDER THE VEHICLE THAT APPEARED TO BE THE AWD TRANSFER CASE. TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO NISSAN SERVICE DEPT AT 94,000 MILES AND WAS TOLD I NEED THE RIGHT FRONT AXLE SEAL REPLACED.

WHEN APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION TO TURN LEFT, ALTHOUGH I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE, THE CAR WASN'T SLOWING, SPEED WAS THE SAME. WHEN I BEGAN TO TURN THE WHEEL, THE STEERING WHEEL KEPT JERKING RIGHT. IT FELT LIKE SOMETHING HAD LOCKED UP. THE BRAKES CONTINUED TO BE INEFFECTIVE AND BECAUSE THE STEERING KEPT JERKING TO THE RIGHT ON A LEFT TURN, IT RAMMED INTO THE CURB AND CAUSED INJURY TO MYSELF.

I HAVE HAD TWO FRONT END COLLISIONS WITH THIS VEHICLE AND NEITHER TIME DID THE AIR BAG DEPLOY. HOW CAN I TRUST MY AIR BAG? I FAILED TO YIELD TO AN ON COMING VEHICLE AND THE TWO VEHICLES MADE CONTACT AT A SPEED OF ABOUT FIVE MILES AN HOUR. THE TROOPER THAT INVESTED THE ACCIDENT, LISTED THAT THE SPEED AS 35 MPH. SO, I'M NOT SURE.

LOW SIDE AIR CONDITIONER LINE BETWEEN CONDENSER AND COMPRESSOR RUBS AGAINST THE PLASTIC RADIATOR HOLDER CAUSING CUT-THROUGH AND EVACUATION OF FREON WHILE TRAVELLING.

WAS DRIVING HOME AND MY SPEEDOMETER BEGAN TO ACT WEIRD AND RAISE AND LOWER AT A 45 MPH SPEED. THEN IT MADE A WEIRD SOUND. ON A TAKE OFF IT TAKES SOME TIME TO ACCELERATE OR SWITCH GEARS. THERE SEEMED LIKE THERE WAS NO POWER WHICH WAS WEIRD AS THIS CAR IS A TURBO. AFTER THIS HAPPENED THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME ON AND THE TRACTION ICON HAS COME ON AND OFF REPEATEDLY. TOOK MY CAR TO A LOCAL OREILLYS AND A CODE CAME UP WHEN THEY HOOKED THE MACHINE TO IT. IT CAME UP WITH A P2263 CODE. THEY SAIDIT WAS THE TC SYSTEM-B1 (TURBOCHARGER BOOST SYSTEM PERFORMANCE) SAYING THAT DESPITE THE BOOSTING AREA, THE BOOST DOES NOT INCREASE.

TL* THE CONTACT LEASED A 2015 NISSAN JUKE. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED, BUT FAILED TO ENGAGE AND TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF A FORD F-150. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. POLICE REPORT NUMBER: [XXX] WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR BODY REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL DEALER (FUTURE NISSAN OF ROSEVILLE, 600 AUTOMALL DR, ROSEVILLE, CA 95661, (916) 547-2242) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE BOOSTER AND TUBES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE LOCAL DEALER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. MY BRAKES SUDDENLY WENT OUT WHILE PULLING INTO MY DRIVE WAY ON MY 3 YEAR OLD CAR. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT, AND THE BREAK FLUID IS GOOD. I TRIED TO BLEED THEM ALSO. I RESEARCHED IT AND IN MARCH NISSAN PUT OUT A RECALL FOR 2015-2017 JUKE NISMO RS, A SPORTIER TRIM, FOR BRAKE PROBLEMS. IT'S ABOUT THE MASTER CYLINDER, WHAT I THINK IS WRONG WITH MINE.

MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR; THE SYSTEM SENSOR LIGHT COMES ONE. LOSING PERFORMANCE ON CAR. CAR IS CUTTING OUT WHILE DRIVING, SENSOR LIGHT STAYS ON CONTINUALLY, PERFORMS WITH BAD GAS MILEAGE. CODE P0101. REPLACES AIR FILTER BUT NOW SAYS IT IS A SENSOR AT 52000 MILES

MY SON WAS DRIVING HIS VEHICLE AND CALLED TO LET ME KNOW THAT IT WOULDN'T GO PAST 65 MPH. HE SAID IT FELT LIKE IT WAS LOSING POWER. HE THOUGHT IT WAS HIGH WINDS THAT WAS MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCELERATE.
