Defect. Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2023-2024 P50 motor coaches. The brake lights may fail to illuminate unless the brake pedal is fully depressed.

Risk. Brake lights that fail to illuminate may reduce the visibility of the vehicle or fail to indicate to other drivers that the coach is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Newell will rewire the brake switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 14, 2023. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

Defect. Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2023 P50 motor coaches. The battery disconnect switch may fail to disconnect the battery when turned to the off position.

Risk. A failed battery disconnect switch increases the risk of electrical shock and injury during maintenance or repairs.

Remedy. Newell will remove and replace the battery disconnect switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 13, 2023. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.
