2019 Lamborghini Urus

Defect. Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Urus vehicles. A software error may deactivate the rearview camera image, resulting in the image not displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 9, 2026. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636-R.01.26.

Defect. Automobili Lamborghini (Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Urus vehicles. High temperatures in the engine compartment may damage the fuel line quick connector, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.

Risk. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of fire.

Remedy. Lamborghini will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line and quick connector, free of charge. The recall began December 18, 2020. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636-R.02.20.

The contact owns a 2019 Lamborghini Urus. The contact stated that there was a strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the garage. The contact stated that days later, the tire was flat, and while being loaded on a flatbed tow truck, the contact became aware of gasoline leaking from the fuel tank on the rear passenger's side of the vehicle. The contact then became aware of a second fuel leak on the front passenger's side of the vehicle. The contact’s infant son was occupying the rear passenger's side seat, near the fuel tank and the exhaust system insulation. The contact stated that the fuel leak had stopped after the vehicle was on flat ground; however, upon parking the vehicle in the garage, there was an abnormally strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle again. The vehicle was pushed from the garage to the driveway out of a safety concern. The contact stated that upon pushing the accessory button of the vehicle, the vehicle started leaking fuel even though the vehicle was not started. The dealer was notified of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and advised the contact to call back at a later time. The failure mileage was approximately 39,800.
