Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) reported this defect to federal regulators on Nov 18, 2020 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 2,831. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Automobili Lamborghini (Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Urus vehicles. High temperatures in the engine compartment may damage the fuel line quick connector, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.
The risk
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of fire.
The remedy
Lamborghini will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line and quick connector, free of charge. The recall began December 18, 2020. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636-R.02.20.
