Screen delimitation, this is causing the the screen to act on its own. This is distracting to the driver to constantly try to fix the false inputs. This effects Bluetooth, climate controls, and other systems in the car.

CAR WOULD NOT STOP, HAD NO CONTROL BEFORE IT HIT THE FRONT OF A HOUSE

I purchased my vehicle in 2019 and had no issues aside from having to get my oil changed much more often than expected (not just by me, but by my servicing location). Just last month I went to turn my vehicle on for work, and the vehicle seemed to be turning on, but then stalled out. It read a message of “service electronic parking brake” and “service ESC system.” My husband managed to get it to turn on the next day and we took it into the dealership, but they could not replicate the incident and said no codes appeared and the vehicle was “fine”. Less than a week later, the same issue arose yet again and I worked around some technical way to be able to turn it on. It was an off and on issue. A couple of days ago when turning on the vehicle to go to work the issue continued, but still I turned it on the way I have gotten accustomed to. As I shift gears into drive, I notice the car feeling somewhat shaky and when I head out lightly press my brakes, the brakes feel as if my emergency brake is engaged. I stop into a parking spot and turn on my emergency parking brake and then disengage it. Then I decide to see if that made a difference, well this time as I picked up speed (around 10mph) it felt as if I had a flat tire but all the tires were fine. My vehicle has nearly killed my entire family multiple times now, stalling out on the highway going 75 miles an hour, shutting off because I turned a corner, rarely starting and having to buy a jump box because my vehicle doesn't want to start due to have a bad PCM according to U87 recall that my VIN isn't included in. I have been lied to by your staff every single time I have called, I am hopeful to get the class action lawsuit that so many states have going on in Missouri as well. My vehicle is extremely dangerous and going to kill my family it will be your fault it, I will ensure that an attorney is well aware of the lack of empathy, the lack of action your company has done, and downright refusal to do the necessary repairs to make my vehicle safe.

The failure mileage was 43,000.

In April my vehicle started stalling when I would turn the corner. Then it died when my son and I were going down the highway at full speed. It just stopped running I had no power to move anymore. Then it would not sure off so I could start it again, now it is hit or miss if it will start I had to buy a jump box so I could go to the store or work. Today the auto start light came on, I am in fear for my families safety. I have reported it to Chrysler multiple times, taken my vehicle to two different dealerships all refusing to help the second dealer refuses to look at it to determine what the issue could be without me paying them first. I am scare we are going to stall again in the highway and get killed. Please help.

About two years ago I noticed that my seat had a broken part. The power seat assembly had a broken place where it attaches to the actual seat. Finding the part to replace it is so expensive. I also purchased two new batteries running $400 plus from the dealership with the vehicle only being a few year old the batteries should last longer. The start stop on the car fails all the time and I barely am able to crank the car from the fob. Since purchasing this vehicle for $31,210. I am trying to reach the manufacture to see what they can do.

The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 44,000.

The backup camera is black sometimes when backing up, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

Bought this jeep from dealer Bourne car center, easton ma. jeep electric system malfunction with brakes frequently. Brakes gets locked up and car does not start. i bought this car 5 months before, this issue has happened 3 times already. concerned with brake issue. when jeep is moving, it works well.

My 17 year old son was driving vehicle and it just turned off in middle of highway. The vehicle took several attempts to crank on different occasions. We were told it was a battery so we replaced and it kept happening then found out the oil was extremely low even though we were barely over a 1000 miles since last oil change. They started oil consumption tests and said oh you are super low on 2 of the tests, come the 3rd test they are now saying it’s within spec and just check the oil a couple times before each oil change. Why would have trust my 17 year old to be able to go off to college in an unreliable car?!?!? We have been dealing with this for over and year and now they want us to restart the oil consumption test.

I have a 2018 Jeep Compass with a 8.4" Uconnect Infotainment system. I have owned the car since new. The infotainment system screen has started to de-laminate after only 3yrs. This is something you usually see in screens much, much older. While researching the issue at several user sites, I have found that the de-lamination of the screen is quite common among, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep vehicles. I believe this is a defect in the build of the infotainment control head screen and, at minimum, the manufacturer should offer a one time repair to original owners, ans correct the defect in all future vehicles.

The park rear view camera stops working for long periods of time. Sometimes it even freezes the whole screen on a black screen.

Roughly 2500 miles after my last oil change I noticed while driving at town speeds that my engine was sluggish to accelerate. After ten minutes of driving I tried to execute a left hand turn and my vehicle's engine cut off completely. I had to guide the car to the side of the road to restart it. There were NO indicator lights on or messages indicating that there was an issue. I pulled over to check the oil and it was low (barely anything on the dipstick and DARK). I immediately drove to my nearest Jeep dealership and on the way there the car shut off again during a turn. Both times were during left-hand turns into traffic and I was lucky to have had enough speed to get out of the way. When I took my vehicle to the dealership, they gave me an oil change and told me to come back for an oil consumption test. Two months later (when I hit the designated miles for the test) they told me they'd found nothing wrong with the vehicle and sent me away. Two months later (and only 1300 miles since the oil change the dealership gave me), I was back at the same dealership with the same issue, low and dark oil. Luckily, I had been proactive and caught it before stalling in traffic anywhere. Again, the dealership offered to change my oil and do a consumption test, but nothing further. It's clear that the 2018 Jeep Compass has engine issues that Jeep is unwilling to acknowledge but these issues are dangerous and costly. I should not need an oil change every 1500 miles or risk putting myself an

Car will stall out and shut off in the middle of traffic or I’ll press the brakes and the car will shut off . Also with auto shut off the car will shut off when waiting for car to turn back on to go from a stop light . When taking a sharp turn oil pressure light will flash and then car will throw emergency break on and shut off for example while going around an on ramp to hwy.

Vehicle shut down on highly traveled city street due to low oil pressure. It was found that the Jeep Compass was consumming oil at a very rapid rate (within 1500 miles of an oil change). We have monitored the oil consumption regurlerly and find that we need to add oil about every 1500 miles. There are NO oil leaks in the engine or around the vehicle, it is being consummed by the engine operation.

The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer Cerritos Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to another dealer for diagnosis. The manufacturer also opened a case but denied buying back the vehicle. The failure mileage was 49,239.

While driving the jeep shuts off and then all lighys come on that are on the dash board. The jeep cannot be restarted nothing works. We have taken it to a dealer more then 5 times in less then 5 months. We replaced both batteries and still had the same issue few days later. they updated pcm module and few days later jeep shut off so the dealer replaced the pcm module. Jeep still ended up shutting off a few different time dealer said battery cable lose and maybe low oil but oil was good. We have been told by dealer they do not know what the issue is even after having a star tech look at the jeep. June 5th 2021 jeep was picked back up from dealer an is sitting in driveway because all light on an jeep oeeps shutting off its unsafe to drive.

EXCESSIVE OIL USE - TOLD IT WAS NORMAL

Since the middle of last year (2020), the radio and back up camera have been completely glitchy. It started with the Favorites function not working with Sirius XM, then progressed to the screen freezing, not responding to any screen touches or knobs on the dashboard until eventually rebooting or staying on the back up camera picture until ultimately rebooting. Now I have both of those things and in addition, the back up camera will also turn to a blue screen and stay blue until it eventually reboots. I have taken this to the dealership MULTIPLE times. They have replaced the entire radio twice. They have done what they can to get the needed software updates. There is still no solution. This is making me hate my vehicle and I would like a solution before I trade it in for something different

BACK UP CAMERA DOES NOT WORK SCREEN KEEPS GOING BLACK WITH MESSAGE SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE. BEEN OVER A WEEK SINCE LAST WORKED. BEEN GOING ON AND OFF SINCE BOUGHT THIS CAR. NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE IS SAFETY

COOLANT TEMPERATURE SHOOTS UP (HOT) FOR 5 -30 SECONDS THEN ENGINE STALLS. CAN'T RESTART OR STALLS IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING. HAS HAPPENED STATIONERY, IN MOTION, TURNING, FREEWAY AND CITY STREETS. ALSO CAN HAS HAPPENED ALL 4 SEASONS: FALL,, SPRING, SUMMER AND WINTER. HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR 2 YEARS AND NO DEALERSHIP CAN FIND OUT WHAT'S WRONG.

THE FRONT STABILIZER BAR END LINKS HAD TO BE REPLACED AFTER 25000 MILES. THIS VEHICLE IS ABOUT 2.5 YEARS OLD. THE WORK ORDER SAYS REPLACE FRONT SWAY BAR LINKS. ISN'T THAT A BIT EARLY TO BE REPLACING LINKS LIKE THIS. THE CAR IS A DAILY DRIVE AND DOES NOT GO OFF ROAD FOR ANYTHING. THE CAR WAS MAKING A RATTLING NOISE WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN FOR SERVICE.

EVER SINCE I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE FROM MARCH 2018 WHEN DRIVING (IN MOTION) MY EMERGENCY BRAKE WILL COME ON AND SHUT ME DOWN, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! YESTERDAY 5/4/2021 I WAS ALMOST HIT BY A SEMI BECAUSE OF THIS. JEEP HAS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED THIS ISSUE. CAR HAS BEEN BROUGHT IN TO DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES BUT I KEEP BEING TOLD THEY CANNOT RECREATE THE ISSUE ( AS IT IS SPARATIC).

I BOUGHT MY JEEP BRAND NEW WITH ZERO MILES IN 2018 AND HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY BACK UP CAMERA SINCE THEN. MY BACK UP CAMERA FOR MY JEEP RANDOMLY AND CONTINUOUSLY GOES BLACK. THIS CAN LAST A DAY OR UP TO A WEEK I AM WITHOUT A BACK UP CAMERA. JEEP HAS REPLACED THE RADIO TWICE AND HAVE REPLACE THE CAMERA ITSELF ONCE. I'VE TAKEN MY CAR TO GET SERVICE FOR BACK UP CAMERA TO JEEP MULTIPLE TIMES. THE LAST TIME I WAS AT JEEP THEY REPLACED MY RADIO AND IT HASN'T BEEN A MONTH YET AND MY BACK UP CAMERA IS NOT WORKING THE SCREEN IS BLACK. TODAY IS MONDAY, MAY 3 AND I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A BACK UP CAMERA SINCE FRIDAY APRIL 30TH. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR.I HAVE VIDEO PROOF EVERY TIME THE BACKUP CAMERA GOES OUT BUT I'VE ATTACHED A PICTURE OF THE BLACK SCREEN.

SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR IS HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE OIL I SENT TO THE PLACE WHERE I BOUGHT THEY SAID IS ALL CARS 2018 JEEP COMPASS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE OIL NEED TO BE CHANGE EVERY 1000 MILE (IT DOES IT COUPLE OF TIMES) WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR ON HIGHWAYS OR ON THE ROAD CAR BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN IN ITS OWN, THEN I HAVE MANUALLY RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER A FEW MINUTES, STARTS NORMALLY

ON N/B I5 BETWEEN ALBANY AND SALEM OREGON, TRAVELING WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL SET AT 73MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN ABRUPTLY BRAKING ON IT'S OWN. IN A MATTER OF SECONDS THE VEHICLE WENT FROM 73MPH TO APPROXIMATELY 45MPH, AND HARD/FAST ENOUGH TO LOCK THE SEAT BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY, TURNED BACK ON/OFF AGAIN, AND DRIVEN TO THE DESTINATION WITHOUT ISSUES. LUCKILY THE INCIDENT HAPPENED AT ABOUT 430AM AND THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC. HAD THERE BEEN TRAFFIC A COLLISION WOULD'VE BEEN IMMINENT AND UNAVOIDABLE.

I HAVE A 2018 JEEP COMPASS LATITUDE AND ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS HAVE HAD THE CAR STALL AT RED LIGHTS WHEN SHUTTING OFF FROM BRAKING, WHEN RELEASING MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE THE CAR FAILED TO ACCELERATE WITH OTHER VEHICLES BEHIND ME. IN THESE INSTANCES I HAVE HAD TO PUT MY CAR IN PARK AND THEN POWER IT OFF AND RESTART IT AS THE QUICKEST FIX. THIS HAS ALSO HAPPENED TO ME IN DRIVE THRUS WHILE STOPPING TO PAY AND AT STOP SIGNS, ALL DOING THE SAME THING AFTER BRAKING AND THE AUTOMATIC START/STOP ENGAGING. THE OTHER ISSUE I HAVE HAD HAS OCCURED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD/HIGHWAY. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME THREE TIMES NOW. IN ONE INSTANCE I WAS GOING 30 MPH AND MY CAR JUST STOPPED ACCELERATING AND THE POWER STIRRING NO LONGER WOULD WORK, THE SCREEN DISPLAYED A MESSAGE SAYING TO PUT MY VEHICLE IN PARK AND THAT MY VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE STARTED BEFORE IT COULD BE SHIFTED AND THE D SHOWN ON MY DASH WAS BLINKING. WHEN THE CAR STARTED TO SLOW I TRIED TO PULL OVER, BUT MY POWER STIRRING WOULDN'T WORK AND I WAS FROCED TO STAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. ANOTHER TIME I WAS TRUNING A CORNER AT A RED LIGHT AND IN THE PROCESS OF THE TURN GOING AROUND 15 MPH MY CAR DASH SHOWED THE SAME MESSAGE AND PERFORMED THE SAME WAY WITH NO POWER STIRRING. THE THIRD TIME I WAS GOING 55 MPH DOWN A HIGHWAY AND THE CAR DID THE SAME THING. IN EACH OF THESE INSTANCES I PUT MY CAR IN PARK, PRESSED THE BREAK AND THE START BUTTON AND THE CAR DID NOT START, ON THE SECOND TIME IT DID NOT START AS WELL AND SOUNDED AS IF MY CA

OIL BURNS THROUGH OIL EXCESSIVELY, 2,900 MILES AFTER OIL CHANGE, EVERY OIL CHANGE THE VEHICLE STARTS ALARMING OIL PRESSURE LOW AND WILL JUST SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING. I'VE ALMOST GOT INTO MULTIPLE ACCIDENTS DUE TO THIS. IT'S DANGEROUS, NO WARNING EXCEPT THE ALARM WHICH COMES ON AS THE VEHICLE SHUTS OFF

THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE I'VE MADE THE PURCHASE. THE VEHICLE RANDOMLY JERKS. I MAINTAIN THE VEHICLE REGULARLY IT CONSTANTLY SHOWS THAT AN OIL CHANGE IS NEEDED. NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE VEHICLE WONT DRIVE OVER 20-30 MPH. I HAVE TO COMPLETELY TURN THE CAR OFF THEN RESTART IT FOR IT WORK. THE JERKING OF THE VEHICLE IS ENOUGH TO PUSH YOU FORWARD WITH FORCE. I'VE BEEN TO JEEP AND HAVE YET TO HAVE THE ISSUE RESOLVED. THIS IS SO UNSAFE BECAUSE IT HAPPENS IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING ITS TO THE POINT I'M AFRAID TO TAKE THE EXPRESSWAY IN FEAR ILL GET IN A ACCIDENT.

MY CAR FLASHED A WARNING TO "STOP SAFELY VEHICLE WILL SHUT OFF SOON" AND CAR SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET! THERE IS A POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE RECALL FOR THIS MAKE AND MODEL BUT MINE WASN'T INCLUDED, I GUESS. A CAR GOING DOWN THE STREET AND SUDDENLY COMING TO A COMPLETE, UNINITIATED STOP IS EXTREMELY SCARY AND DANGEROUS. I WOULD THINK IF THIS IS HAPPENING, THEN THE PCM SHOULD BE REPLACED, BUT THE DEALERSHIP ISN'T ON BOARD WITH THIS. THEY SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO SINCE THEY CAN'T RE-CREATE THE ERROR. MY SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH HAS SHOWN THIS TO BE A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2018 JEEP COMPASS.

MY FORWARD COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM GAVE A FALSE POSITIVE WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN A BUSY ROAD WAY. IT ACTIVATED THE BRAKING SYSTEM WHEN THERE WERE NO VEHICLES IN FRONT OF ME FOR AT LEAST 40 YARDS AND CAUSING A VEHICLE THAT WAS FOLLOWING ME TO HAVE TO BREAK AND SWERVE TO MISS HITTING ME. I WAS ON RT 15 IN SHAMOKIN DAM AROUND 12:30 PM GOING 30 MPH

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER KEENE JEEP LOCATED AT 410 WINCHESTER ST, KEENE, NH 03431 WHO REPLACED THE ENGINE BUT THE FAILURES CONTINUED TO OCCUR. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED, THE CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM WOULD NOT DEACTIVATE CAUSING THE DRIVER TO CRASH INTO A TREE STUMP. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED, NO POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN. THE ODOR OF COOLANT WAS ALSO PRESENT INSIDE THE VEHICLE CAUSING THE DRIVER TO BECOME ILL. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER CONTEMPORARY JEEP LOCATED AT 30 HAMMOND RD, MILFORD, NH 03055 AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.

ON JANUARY 30TH, 2021 I WAS DRIVING ON THE ROUTE 9, I STOPPED ON A RED LIGHT, WHEN IT TURNED GREEN, I WAS ABOUT TO GO AHEAD BUT MY CAR JUST SHUT OFF, I COULD NOT TURN IT ON AGAIN, I CALLED A TOW, WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE MAIN AND AUX BATTERY, THEY CHARGED $555.15 THE NEXT DAY, WHEN I WAS GOING TO DRIVE THE CAR AGAIN, I TURNED ON AND SEVERAL MESSAGES POPED UP ON THE SCREEN: "STOP SAFELY VEHICLE WILL SHUT OFF SOON' 'SERVICE ANTILOCK BREAK SYSTEM' '4WD UNAVAILABLE' 'SERVICE BREAK SYSTEM' AFTER ALL THOSE MESSAGES THE CAR SHUT OFF. I CALLED THE TOW, WE WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN AND THEY TOLD ME THE PROBLEM WAS A WIRE CONNECTION. AFTER THAT I DROVE THE CAR NORMALLY BUT ON APRIL 10TH, 2021 I TRIED TO TAKE MY CAR AND I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, SAME MESSAGES, I CALLED THE TOW AND WE WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN. I AM AFRAID OF MY SAFETY AND OTHERS WHILE I AM DRIVING, THE DEALERSHIP DOES NOT GIVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT IT, THEY DO NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, AND I THINK AN INVESTIGATION SHOULD BE CONDUCTED IMMEDIATELY TO KNOW IF THE CAR MUST BE RECALL.

THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND THE START/STOP FEATURE WAS ENGAGED. WHEN MY FOOT WAS TAKEN OFF THE BRAKE, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. I PUT IT IN PARK AND TRIED TO RESTART IT AND IT WOULD NOT RESTART. THE BATTERY WAS NOT DEAD AS THE LIGHTS WERE WORKING AS WELL AS MANY WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IN THREE YEARS THAT THIS VEHICLE WILL GO TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR A SIMILAR ISSUE. THE DIAGNOSES SEEMS TO BE DIFFERENT EACH TIME, BUT ULTIMATELY I TAKE IT IN FOR THE SAME ISSUE AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT LEFT ME STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF FOUR LANE HIGHWAY. THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED THE VEHICLE WENT INTO LIMP MODE ON THE INTERSTATE. EVENTUALLY THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT AND COULD POSSIBLY KILL ME OR MY FAMILY. IT'S HAPPENED TWICE IN START/STOP MODE AT A STOP LIGHT AND ONCE IN MOTION ON THE INTERSTATE AT 70MPH.

VEHICLE ONLY HAD 25000 MILES AND HAD ELECTRIC ISSUES, ACCELERATION ISSUES, STOP AND GO WOULD STALL IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING PUTTING ME AND MY CHILD IN DANGER. ONLY GOING A HIGH OF 50 ON THE FREEWAY THEN SLOWING. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES, PLUS REPLACING 2 BATTERIES A YEAR SINCE HAVING THE CAR. I HAVE SENT INFORMATION TO CORPORATE. ITEMS HAVE CLEARLY BEEN DOCUMENTED BUT NOTHING DONE TO SOLVE THE ISSUE THAT CONTINUES.

I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR WHEN IT WAS JERKING WHILE I WAS DRIVING. FINALLY THE SHOP FOUND THE PROBLEM VALVE STICKING. THEY REPLACE IT.

ENGINE CUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING ON ROADWAY LOSS OF OIL IS NOT SAFE ON HIGHWAY FOR FEAR ON CUTTING OF.WILL START BACK UP 10 MINUTES AFTER STALLING

SO I'M JUST WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION

CAR SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN ON ME AUTOMATICALLY WHILE PULLING ONTO HIGHWAYS AT 60MPH IT ENGAGED PARKING BRAKE AND DISPLAYED A MESSAGE ON SCREEN THAT STATED "PLACE SHIFTER INTO PARK AND RESTART". I HEADED FOR THE DEALERSHIP INSTANTLY. AFTER OIL CONSUMPTION TEST IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE ENGINE WOULD BE REPLACED. ENGINE WAS REPLACE MID NOVEMBER 2020. NOT EVEN 3000 MILES ON THE NEW ENGINE IT ONCE AGIAN STALLED OUT AND ENGAGED PARKING BRAKE. OIL IS NOT LOW. "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" IS ON AND CAR BOGS DOWN WHEN ACCELERATED. CAN NOT DRIVE IN NORMAL TRAFFIC. ALMOST LIKE TRANSMISSION IS GOING. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN UNDER 2YRS OLD AN ITS OUR ONLY CAR! I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS ABOUT THE SAFTEY OF THE JEEP AND IT DEFINITELY IS NOT 5HERE AT ALL! MY WIFE AND I DO NOT TRUST DRIVING THIS VEHICLE ONE MORE MILE.

CAR DIES WHILE DRIVING FOR NO REASON. INTERMITTENTLY. TRANSMISSION INTERMITTENTLY JERKS INTO GEAR. INSTRUMENT PANEL INTERMITTENTLY DOES NOT COME ON UNTIL RESTART. KEY FOBS (MAIN FOB AND SPARE) INTERMITTENTLY DO NOT FUNCTION. (BATTERIES ARE NOT THE ISSUE)

THE VEHICLE DASHBOARD LIGHTS WILL ALL START TO FLASH, CANNOT ACCELERATE CAR, CAUSING ME TO PULL OVER AS BEST I CAN. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES. I WAS TOLD BY A MECHANIC THAT THESE CARS ARE KNOWN FOR EATING UP OIL AT AN ALARMING RATE. THE PROBLEM IS TEMPORARILY FIXED BY ADDING A QUART OF ENGINE OIL. THIS OCCURS AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH AND IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING BECAUSE THERE IS NO WARNING. THERE IS NO 'LOW OIL' LIGHT THAT COMES ON. I HAVE YOUNG KIDS AND I FEEL STUCK WITH THIS LEMON. I ALSO HEAR A LOUD RATTLING COMING FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE, UNDER THE HOOD BUT CANNOT SEE ANYTHING. I HAVE ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AND WAS TOLD THAT DUE TO SOMETHING ELECTRICAL, IT CAUSED MY BATTERY TO COMPLETELY DIE. THIS CAR IS EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE AND UNSAFE.

I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR CLOSE TO A YEAR AND I HAVE BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. EACH TIME WHEN I'M CALLED TO PICK UP THE CAR AND AM TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED/REPAIRED, I DRIVE A FEW BLOCKS AND THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT COMES ON. SIMULTANEOUSLY THE STOP/START FEATURE CONKS OUT. I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM IS DANGEROUS IN THAT I DON'T KNOW IF THERE TRULY IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE OR IS IT JUST A FAULTY LIGHT. THE START/STOP FEATURE DOESN'T ALARM ME AS MUCH, BUT IT ADDS TO THE COMPLEXITY OF THE ENGINE ISSUE.

THESE ENGINE IS USING UP ALL THE OIL EVERY 1000 MILES

TURNING RIGHT ONTO A STREET AND MY CAR COMPLETELY SHUT OFF - I HAD TO STOP COMPLETELY AND CUT IT BACK ON THEN MY LOW OIL PRESSURE LIKE CAME ON. ONCE WE GOT THE VEHICLE HOME AND CHECKED THE OIL WE REALIZED IT WAS VERY DANGEROUSLY LOW AND THIS WAS IN BETWEEN 5,000 MILE OIL CHANGES ... WE HAD TO ADD OIL TO GET IT TO THE MECHANIC SHOP JUST TO GET THE CAR LOOKED AT. THIS HAS HAPPENED AGAIN SINCE AND I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP
