Defect. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2016-2026 IC Bus CESB and 2016-2021 RESB school buses. The underfloor reinforcement may not have been installed, compromising the structural integrity of the buses. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages" and 222, "School Bus Passenger Seating and Crash Protection."
Risk. Reduced structural integrity may increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy. Dealers will inspect and install a reinforcement channel as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 8, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25514.

Defect. International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2016-2024 IC Bus CESB school buses. The brake pressure switch assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch's electrical components and cause an electrical short-circuit.
Risk. An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.
Remedy. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install a silicone black jumper harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25510. Vehicles previously repaired under 23V398 will need to have the new remedy completed.

Defect. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2020-2023 IC CE school buses. The engine control module (ECM) may set a fault code that results in an unexpected engine shut down.
Risk. Unexpected engine shut down can increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a disabled school bus may require an evacuation procedure in an uncontrolled traffic situation, increasing the risk of injury to passengers.
Remedy. Dealers will reprogram the ECM, free of charge. Owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed January 18, 2022. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 21507.

Defect. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2017-2021 IC CE School Buses equipped with Cummins B6.7 diesel engines with fuel module option number FS90301 or FS90453. The electric fuel heater within the fuel module may overheat and cause plastic in the fuel heater to melt and potentially catch fire. It may also lead to engine stalling.
Risk. A fire increases the risk of injury. An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy. Cummins will notify the affected Navistar customers and dealers will disable the fuel heater by either installing a plug in place of the heater or otherwise rendering the fuel heater non-operable and remove the fuse supplying electrical power to the fuel heater and install a cover over the wire harness connector, free of charge. The recall began May 28, 2020. Owners may contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467.
Defect. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2019-2020 IC RE and 2020 IC CE school buses equipped with feature code 48PZP, 48PZR, 48RZY, 48SXV, or 48SZG (Prolo emergency exit roof hatches). Due to a manufacturing issue, the roof hatch external handle may unexpectedly break under reasonable use.
Risk. If the roof hatch external handle breaks, in the event of an emergency, the hatch cannot be easily opened from outside the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy. Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the outer handle, free of charge. The recall began October 7, 2019. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 19513.

Defect. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2020 IC CE school buses equipped with PSI gasoline or propane engines and C7 Body Control Modules (BCM). An electrical overload condition in the BCM from the starter solenoid may occur and cause damage to the starter circuit of the BCM, possibly resulting in an unintended command to crank the engine when the ignition key is in the run position and the transmission is in the park or neutral position.
Risk. If the ignition is in the run position and the engine starts unexpectedly while the vehicle is being serviced, there would be an increased risk of personal injury.
Remedy. Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will install an overlay harness and relay to provide electrical power to the starter circuit, instead of using the BCM to provide power. This repair will be performed free of charge. The recall began September 12, 2019. Navistar's number for this recall is 19512.

Defect. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2016-2020 IC CE and 2019 IC RE school buses equipped with Bendix ADB 22X brake calipers. The driver side rear brakes may drag.
Risk. A dragging brake may cause damage to the brake components, which may activate the ABS warning light. The warning light may cause the driver to immediately stop the vehicle and transfer occupants. Additionally, the high temperatures at the wheel end can increase the risk of a fire. Either condition increases the risk of injury.
Remedy. Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the left rear caliper with a redesigned adjuster mechanism, free of charge. The recall began July 12, 2019. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 19506.

1. Component: Bus 15 - Right front outrigger. Yes it is available for inspection 2. Safety: Outrigger cracked creating insufficient support of the school bus body 3. We were told it was not covered under warranty and no recalls have been generated and therefore paid for the first repair through Wolfington Body Co. Inc. Their repair did not hold and it came apart and on 8/7/2024 it was repaired a second time, no charge. It came apart again and on 1/30/2025 it was repaired a third time, no charge. 4. The dealer has inspected the bus, we are not aware of the manufacturer or anyone else having inspected the bus. The dealer did say they were going to present this to the manufacturer but we have never heard anything more about it. 5. We first noticed the crack when we inspected it on 4/4/2024 because we heard and felt an unusual noise/motion when driving on the roads in our town. PLEASE NOTE: Since then we have had a total of 4 out of our 5 International Gas Buses with the identical problem. Those Buses are: Bus 3 The crack was noticed on 10/24/2024 mileage 37,052 cost to repair $3,010.18. This repair came apart again on 10/24/2025 and was repaired on 2/13/26 no charge. Bus 1 The crack was noticed on 11/19/2024 mileage 46,718 the Dealer repaired at no cost due to negotiating a compromise. Bus 12 The crack was noticed on 5/23/2025 mileage 40,310 cost to repair $3,005.58. I have been told by the Dealer's Service Team through an email dated 8/4/2025 that they would be submitting these
