The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was given an estimate for the repair; the contact was later informed that the part needed to repair the vehicle was on backorder. The contact reached back out to the manufacturer and a complaint was filed. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. A red passenger airbag indicator appears sometimes on my dashboard. I took it to the dealership, and they said it is a airbag in the car seat that is sending an alert. The alert only occurs when a passenger is in the car in that seat, however, even then it does not always appear

Infotainment system sends out massive distortion, crackling and popping noises through all of the car, audio speakers. Extremely loud and will even happen when you have pushed the power off button to the audio system. Car is undrivable. It’s so loud and could see someone being startled on the highway when this starts. It’s very frequent in hot weather and can stop and start very suddenly. This is all original Honda parts. No modifications.

Belt tensioner seized causing serpentine belt to slip and fail and loss of steering.

I was driving straight on the freeway maintaining the speed limit when the driver side side curtain airbag and driver side seat airbag spontaneously deployed. Due to the loud noise and not expecting this to happen I was in complete shock but was able to safely move the car off the freeway with very obstructed vision due to the airbag being deployed. I lost temporary hearing in my left ear due to the loud explosive sound as well as it hitting me in the head. If it had been rush hour traffic this could have easily resulted in an accident killing myself as well as others on the road. The car was taken to a Honda dealership where it was inspected and a diagnostic test was done. There was no indication that the airbag should have deployed per the diagnostic test which concluded that no collision was suspected or detected thus deeming it as a result of a faulty sensor. There were no warning indicator lights at anytime that appeared prior to the incident. National Honda was notified by the dealership and they stated this was not their financial responsibility to repair but ours. I too contacted Honda services and field a claim and was told that we would be responsible for the cost of the repairs to fix the sensor and replace the airbag.

Check engine light on while driving on the freeway engine looses power and wants to stall like the fuel pump is not working all of the sudden. this is a safety issue .there is a recalled on honda accord 6 cly fuel pump but not on the 4 cly engines

The vehicle turn off and on while driving on the highway, is like the engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. I'm aware there's no recall on my vehicle, however, it's a known issue that Honda had voluntarily recall approximately 2.6 million 2017-2020 Honda vehicles in the United States to replace their fuel pumps, for free due to a similar issue. I have experience this issue of the vehicle shutting down then on while driving in the last couple of weeks and it's increasing each day. The accord was bought for my son to use, if he encounter an accident due to this fuel pump issue and he lose his life, someone would have to be held accountable.

Driving on freeway, car went from 70mph to 40mph and would not accelerate, the gas pedal went down rpm went up, but car continued to slow down. Code came on dash, pulled over to not have accident. Honda TSB 23-076 torque converter, but they said will have to pay for transmission, which is part of transmission, and I have to pay deductible. What deductible on warranty??

At first I thought this was an electrical problem but now it looks like it is the fuel pump. There is a struggle to turn the vehicle on. There are time that I step on the accelerator and it stalls. There are times while driving that it seems that the vehicle is just going to turn off. I am scared that it might turn off while I’m driving. This can cause me to have an accident. I know there has been a recall to 2018-2020 Honda Accord vehicle but I think there are plenty of 2017 models that are going through the same situation.

The paint on the hood of the car contains several chips and the paint on the entire hood has faded and has lost its color which was black, The appearance now appears to be faulted.

Four lights appeared simultaneously in my dash. It drives fine, just had brakes and rotors replaced, have new tires, the dealership is saying it’s the ABS module that needs replaced and this part alone without labor costs $2200. I have researched and this is an extremely common issue with these Hondas. My vehicle has under 50,000 miles and is in great condition, it’s not feasible that this should be from wear and tear. And it’s occurring with many others of this model and a range of years of these with Honda.

On [XXX] the car was being drive from North Carolina to Ohio. The brakes failed in Fort Chiswell, VA, at 5:00 pm on [XXX]. Using the brake pedal did not slow the car, had to put gear selector in B, that slowed the car but did not bring it to a stop. Had to use the emergency brakes to come to a complete stop. This malfunction could cause a crash or could cause injury or death. The brakes failed a second time the tollbooth between Princeton, WV, and Beckley, WV. On [XXX] the car was towed to the Honda dealership in Beckley WV. The dealership worked on the brakes and claimed to have fixed the problem. On [XXX], after one hour of driving, now in Charleston, WV, the brakes failed a third time. The car was turned off and then back on and driven and the brakes failed a fourth time. The car was towed to the Honda dealership in Charleston WV. The dealership was told that the problem occurs after driving the car for an hour or so. The dealership was not willing to drive the car that long to replicate the problem. There is a Honda Service Bulletin [XXX] that pertains to a similar brake problem on this vehicle. The dealership did not appear to be aware of the service bulletin. Lights came on the dashboard, then call was stalling while driving, and car is hard to stop, issue with the fuel pump for my model car and honda doesn't have my vin listed in the recall in which it should be. I have a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid. The Audio System or Radio has now become dangerous. I filed a complaint with American Honda and they said I had to take it to the dealer for diagnostic and that no Recall or Technical Service Bulletin on my car Audio exists. I created a YouTube video to show the problem. I contacted my local Honda Dealer but they want me to pay a Diagnostic fee. It is over $190 to diagnose the Audio system and no guarantee to fix. Replacement is estimated to be around $2,000. American Honda Customer Service should waive the diagnosis fee or reimburse me for any such independent dealer diagnosis fee. Currently own a 2017 Honda Accord Sport just over 100k miles, regularly maintained and serviced. All of a sudden my vehicle takes longer to start and the most shocking issue is that I was driving to work as normal and when I went to accelerate onto the interstate my vehicle suddenly started jerking and it seemed as though my vehicle was not getting fuel even though I was pressing the accelerator. I had to get off the interstate as I was almost hit by other vehicles merging onto the interstate. It is very frustrating that other trims of Accords are included in the recall except this model. This recall needs to be revised to reflect all models for all owners. I literally almost lost my life due to this.

My honda accord has 68,000 miles on it and the CVT transmission is failing. It's jerking, especially in low gears and rides rough. I've been doing some research on the CVT transmission and it's not good. I've been to two dealers a total of 4 times. Because the diagnostic does not register a problem, nor does engine light come on, I've been told transmission is fine..

All brake lights are displayed on dash, along with steering, tire, and ABS lights. I spoke with the dealership two years ago and the part has been backordered. They could not tell me when it would become available. I checked today and it's available and expensive. When driving my brakes shake. I've had the brakes repaired at least for times and they still don't fully brake properly.

Abs, traction, eps, and brake lights stay on. This causes the traction and brakes not to work properly. Bought my car 10 months ago from Honda and this started about 3 months after. The solenoid is faulty and have heard from several other owners the same. This can be a serious problem for drivers. Part is not available from private auto stores. Only dealership which causes more concern and they should be held liable for components that fault in breaking the vehicle. 2017 Honda accord. Took in for a oil change 2024 and they do full inspection for free and when I brought it up they said they didn't check it with all lights on.

Backup camera failed. Honda is keeping cheap quality backup cameras that are failing easily. I have seen 1.2 million cars recalled for back up camera issues. My vehicle back up camera not working properly. Very frequently it shows black screen. It works some times and does not work sometimes. This is a serious safety issue. Honda should take responsibility for this. My car model is 2017 honda accord.

Vehicle stalled while travelling. I suspect this is a problem of the high pressure fuel pump gathering particulates and not working as proper. There is a similar recall regarding the V6 models of my vehicle, however, the 4 cylinder models were left unaddressed.

Speakers or Audio system. Randomly the speakers will get static or noise that comes through it with nothing plugged into it (USB or Bluetooth) and the radio can be off even. Safety issue that it gets progressively louder to the point where at hard to stay in car and drive it. Around [XXX] on [XXX], I was driving my 2017 Honda Accord LX on [XXX] East in northwestern New Jersey. The first signs of trouble were multiple warning lights (Check Engine and many others) appearing suddenly on the dashboard. There was a total loss of engine power and the tachometer dial dropped abruptly to zero. As I applied the brakes to slow down and move onto the shoulder of the highway, I realized that I also had no power brakes or steering. When the car was nearly stopped on the shoulder, I saw smoke filling the cabin and flames coming from under the engine hood toward the windshield. We quickly exited the car and called 911. The State Police and Fire Department arrived on the scene within 10 minutes but by that time the fire had spread to the interior cabin. On 12-7-2023 I was driving home from work and all of a sudden my car started sputtering and slowing down until it stopped completely in heavy evening traffic. It would not restart so I had it towed. I had a mechanic check it out and he said it was the fuel pump.

Vehicle ABS malfunctioning making some dashboard lights come on. A bunch of random codes in the readers makes it hard to identify the issue. Codes are not specific and a bunch of other components need to be tested/replaced before realizing the actual main issue causing the owner spend a ridiculous amount of money and time. Only dissappear if ABS module is replaced which is hard to find(up to two years of wait) unless bought used which also comes with the same risk of failing prematurely. This problem messes up with the vehicle traction in raw weather conditions, as well as braking, steering, and overall safety of the occupants.

Several instances where my 2017 Honda accord loses power or performance. Two instances are (1) stopped at traffic light and when I hit the gas to pull off it moved but would not do anything after that. The engine was on but no power. Thankfully I was close to a parking lot. The car rolled into the parking lot and a few the cut off on me. The 2nd time I was driving down the road, felt a little jolt and once again the car loss performance and I had to guide it to the side of the road.

Driving at highway speed and sunroof glass spontanious exploded. Wasn't under any over passes or behind any vehicles. Luckily, I had the inside cover closed or I would've gotten shards of glass on my head and face while I was driving.

The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because the VIN was not included in the recall. I had noticed a couple of weeks ago that I would try and start the car and it was struggling to start. Two weeks ago I tried to turn on my car and it would not start. I had to jump start it. I went out to run errands. I tried turning the car on again and it would not start. Once again I had to jump start it. Thinking it was the battery, I took it to O'Reilly's since it was still under warranty. The battery was good. They told me to take the car to run a scan. The scan showed no issues with the car. I googled what was happening to my car and I saw it's a common issue with these cars. Since the time I bought the car, I have already had to replace the battery 4 times which is odd because batteries last about 3 years and they are only lasting 1.5 years. As of today, it has been turning on but I can still hear it struggling to turn on.

The high pressure fuel pump is failing on my 2017 honda accord. There is currently a recall for this issue on the 2017 honda accord v6 models but not mine. I was driving down the highway and my car went into safe mode causing the car to slow/power down and cause traffics issues. All of my warning lights came on alerting me that there was a problem. This affects the safety of others and puts everyone at risk.

Very soon after purchasing this car in June, the check engine light came on. The problem was eventually determined to be with the fuel tank. I was told by the dealership that the tank was leaking fumes. They told me the problem was a known issue with this model. The part had been redesigned but neither the original or redesigned part are available. We have been waiting for several months for a replacement part. I was told that others are waiting as well and there is no information on a date for repair. My son continues to drive the car but we are concerned about the safety of gas fumes leaking out of the car

On October 14, 2023, several lights came on after starting the car up, including the ABS light. This had not happened before. We had just had the car serviced for an oil change 2 weeks prior. We called friend who was a mechanic to see what we should do. Not long after we had reached out, we had a situation where we pulled out of our neighborhood and someone illegally turned in front of us almost hit us head-on. The only reason it didn't occur is because I put on breaks very quickly and stopped our car. We took my car to have to lights assessed today and found out that the lights came on due to the ABS Modulator going bad. We also found out that they do not have the part and that it's on backorder. That it has been this way for a year or so. After talking to the technicians and doing research, this issue with the part has been a problem for Honda Accords 2013-2017 and many question if this should be on recall. I can think of reasons why Honda has not address this issue, but this could be a huge lawsuit if someone were to have this issue and not be able to replace this part, as could be us but we are fortunate that my brakes work last weekend. Please give this some attention and follow up with Honda. This part and replacement is also very expensive, amounting to around $2300 for most who had it done. My 2017 Honda Accord V6 touring has been experiencing hesitation for the last several years. I know there’s a recall, but why is my car not being recalled I’m having the exact same problems that I described call hesitates stalls sometimes hard to start.
