The forward-facing camera module and related Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. The system has failed repeatedly, with the camera replaced three previous times. On XXX, the vehicle performed unintended hard braking at approximately 70 mph on the interstate, after which Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist became inoperative. Similar hard-braking events followed by system failure also occurred approximately one month prior to the most recent previous failure. The dealership (Confidence Chevrolet Buick GMC in [XXX]) has confirmed the forward-facing camera and ADAS failures on multiple occasions. The camera module has been replaced three times (XXX). During the XXX repair, technicians documented Diagnostic Trouble Code U3000:49 (internal malfunction in the front view camera module), opened TAC case XXX, and performed radio programming per bulletin 25-NA-318. The dealer has repeatedly verified the loss of Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The oil recall on my truck has been completed, but the low oil light still comes on. They changed the weight of the oil stated that it didn’t fall Under the engine replacement recall. All that was done was a new oil cap and change weight of oil. Did not solve anything.
I got the vehicle with 60,000 miles 8,000 miles in vehicle gave me problems gave me a check engine light code p0300 then took it to get inspected then was told it was the fly wheel then it’s started knocking vehicle is currently not being droven because of the fly wheel
While traveling northbound on the I 10 freeway my vehicle wouldn’t accelerate once pulled over to the shoulder the vehicle completely lost all acceleration and shut off. The vehicle smelled like burning plastic and would not restart. The dealership’s reporting engine fail.
The engine was producing a strange noise while driving and subsequently shut off. The vehicle was towed to a GMC dealership where an inspection/testing was performed. Ultimately, I was told the entire engine needed to be replaced.
Engine was replaced by Classic GMC in Katy/Houston, TX in dec 2025 under L87 recall. My wife was driving and was stopped on an off-ramp but still in the traffic lane. It started with a light knock that i thought i heard the day before, but then died on freeway within maybe 15 miles of her driving. Unknown if it knocked louder, but wife says she never heard anything until it died and check engine light came on and engine would not restart. Required tow to GMC dealer. They diagnosed and took 2-3 weeks to source and replace the engine. In july 2026, started hearing very similar noise - this time apparently the water pump seized. Heard noise and got home within about 10 miles. Checked under hood and drive belt was significantly frayed and knocking/metallic noise was intense. Towed to Classic GMC. Not covered under any warranty - my replacement engine did not include a new pump. Cost $1700 at Classic GMC - they said it had no relation to the engine replacement or labor done in December. Unrelated, but icing on the cake - less than 2 hours and 10 miles of picking it up from service, lots of warnings about lane keep, adaptive cruise control, and park sense started going off. Returned to same shop the next day and *poof* the camera and processor that runs all those systems was somehow fried. Unrelated of course. $1200 a but they claimed GM graciously offered to “split the cost with me 50/50” since I just paid so much for the water pump. Picked up from service and traded vehicle in wi
Vehicle was traveling at 65 mph on a busy highway when vehicle engine stopped. A message on the dash appeared indicating to driver to shift to neutral and try to restart engine. As vehicle was quickly loosing speed it was decided to coast to the side of road to avoid someone running into vehicle causing multiple cars to crash. After stopping vehicle, an attempt was made to start vehicle. Engine would not turn over. Vehicle was towed to dealership. The following day I was informed that the engine needed replacement.
Current Unsafe Conditions: Post-Replacement Active Safety Failures. The vehicle presently exhibits two distinct categories of active, ongoing, and dangerous safety failures, both of which were introduced as a direct result of the engine replacement performed by Monument Chevrolet: (a) Severe Drivability Failure. Between approximately 1,500 and 5,000 RPM, the engine repeatedly and without warning lunges forward, drops all power, and lunges again — cycling in this manner between three (3) and six (6) times before stabilizing. This behavior occurs across all gears and driving conditions, which creates a severe and unpredictable hazard particularly when merging into traffic or accelerating onto highways. This failure constitutes an immediate and ongoing risk to the safety of myself and other motorists. (b) Complete ADAS System Failure. The frontal crash response warning light is permanently illuminated on the instrument cluster, rendering the following federally relevant safety systems entirely non-functional: (i) Automatic Emergency Braking / Forward Collision Alert; (ii) Cruise Control; and (iii) Lane Change Assist / Lane Control System. All of these systems were fully operational and properly functioning before the vehicle was submitted for the engine swap. Their failure is an assembly defect introduced by Monument Chevrolet during the course of the repair and constitutes a warranty and safety defect for which General Motors, as the manufacturer and warrantor, bears full respo
The failure to have proper viscosity oil along with manufacturing error resulting in failure of lifters, cam shaft, and crank shaft all needing replaced. Repair totaled over $10,000
I was driving to work on 7/20/26 and my vehicle loss engine propulsion , engine failure and unable to restart vehicle and shift gears.
For the past 6 months I’ve had issues with my crash avoidance system, steer assist and lane departure warning. The crash indicator light would illuminate on my dash for no apparent reason. That would disable my crash warning system, steer assist and lane departure warning but, I could still adjust my distance for my brake warning indicator. The other problems that are not safety related is cruise control and automatic high beam lights will not function. I researched the Internet and found this is not an uncommon problem for this year model. The most common fix (if the windshield is not dirty) was remove the F 11 fuse, in the fuse panel beside passenger door for 10 seconds, that would allow the system to reboot. That worked for 3 months with more than 10 occurrences of the light illuminating on the dash. Now the crash indicator light is on continuously and will not reset by removing the fuse. The computer is up-to-date and all the settings in the infotainment system for the crash avoidance system are activated. Check numerous Internet websites, the cameras for this system is on backorder. So there must be a parent problem with the system. I was required to purchase 36 months of OnStar, I did not purchase a renewal agreement after the 36 month and this issue started soon after.
Top Grill/Hood trim piece - it is separate from the main Grill. It detached and flew off at interstate speed. Thank God it missed several cars behind me. The passenger side corner came loose and before I could safely make my way off the interstate the piece ripped all the way across and flew over the top of the truck. May have gone 30 feet in the air prior to landing on the asphalt between the two lanes.
My truck was serviced for the front chrome grill separation recall last year. On Saturday, 8/1/2026 while driving at highway speed the grill deflector separated from the vehicle violently. I was able to pull off of the highway and remove the part as only the passenger corner clip (with screw) was partially retaining the deflector. Upon looking at the "repair" or recall, the corrective action does not appear to have been done correctly per N242490120. The chrome coating was not scuffed let alone removed from the part and an insufficient amount of epoxy was used to attach this deflector. Damage was done to the hood and lower grill during this incident. I have had numerous and considerable issues with the purchasing/servicing dealership where I bought this truck.
My truck is intermittently having the camera display a warning code. While in reverse or while towing and trying to use the surrounding cameras. It happens randomly and almost caused accidents in parking lots. While towing I use it for lane changes and with non towing mirrors it’s a very dangerous issue that could cause an accident especially on the highway
While driving my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 (VIN: [XXX]) in active traffic, the 10-speed automatic transmission suffered a sudden and catastrophic internal failure. Without warning, the vehicle stalled in the middle of traffic and forced itself into a hazardous "limp mode," severely restricting my speed and acceleration. This created an immediate, high-risk safety emergency, leaving my passengers and me vulnerable to a rear-end collision before we could navigate out of the live roadway. The vehicle was towed to an independent facility (Kenny's Transmission, Repair Order #XXX) at 65,579 miles. Diagnostic troubleshooting confirmed a "Number 6 Solenoid Code" and "Internal Transmission Mechanical Failure" (3-4 races away, total loss of reverse gear), requiring a complete replacement of the transmission assembly utilizing an official GM service part at a personal cost of $6,673.10. General Motors has previously acknowledged 10-speed transmission control valve defects and wheel-lockup hazards by issuing safety recalls for diesel variants, but gas-powered models like my 6.2L L87 engine are experiencing identical, highly dangerous sudden losses of motive power without federal recall protection. I am requesting that the NHTSA investigate this systemic failure rate on 2022 gas models before it causes a major collision. My truck is at the dealership for a failed transmission valve body. I was doing some research on this issue and saw recall N242454441. I asked the service writer about this and he said my truck was not covered by the recall. I had all of the same issues as described in the recall. effects can cause harsh shifting, setting a service engine soon message, reduced engine performance or P0747 diagnostic trouble code. I was driving along when the check engine light came on then a message on the dash said reduced power mode. I barely made it to work then called the dealership and told them I was bringing it in if I could make it. When I tried to take it to the dealership the rear wheels seemed to be locked up when in drive but would move in reverse. After coasting forward in neutral then reversing the wheels seemed to unlock in drive but then I didn’t have reverse. I have the same drive train with the 10 speed transmission. I think this recall needs to be expanded to include my truck as well as countless others for this known issue.
I Purchased the vehicle on May 29, 2026 and it stated the 6.2 liter engine recall had been fixed and that I have extended special coverage for the exact issue of the recall until 150008 miles on this vehicle. On July 14, 2026 the vehicle was being driven and stalled out at a traffic light and restarted, yet within a quarter mile it stalled again at the next traffic light and became completely disabled, it would not even allow a shift into nuetral, so I had it towed less than 100 feet into the Walmart on Loudon Road in Concord, NH 03301 parking lot. On July 23, 2026 I was able to get the batter charged and attach a code scanner which showed one code (P0016). Pursuant to Recall N252494001 (which had allegedly been repaired, likely with the bandaid fix of thicker oil) any 6.2 liter GM truck with the loss of propulsion needs to be plugged into a scanner and if code P0016 is present, engine replacement is needed. Specifically noted to the recall is Special coverage N252494003 which provides the coverage to 150,008 miles on this vehicle is directly related to the recall. At the time of loss of propulsion the vehicle had 99,195 miles present on the odometer. The following day July 24, 2026 I had the vehicle towed to Banks Chevrolet GMC in Concord NH, after the vehicle arrived, I spoke with the service department, provided them with the recall paperwork and printout of the special coverage uner the vin as well as a photo of the odometer and my scanner displayining one code P0016. The
Upper front grill trim piece was repaired under recall. After being fixed I was driving and it broke off flying up in the air and behind the truck. It did not hit another vehicle. Adaptive cruise control stopped working. Lane assist stopped working. Brake pad wear sensor error message stating it doesn't work. Vehicle has 19,000 miles.
While driving enroute to a concert in [XXX]., in the passing lane on [XXX] around [XXX] & just before exit 22(mile marker 21) during rush hour on 7-23 at 5.09pm, my truck abruptly lost power and shut off! It would not start, I could not engage "N" from "P" to attempt to push my truck to the far left side of the highway. This was a "VERY DANGEROUS" situation as I could have been rear ended or much worse! I immediately called SOS/ON STAR for assistance. In the meantime, a police officer and state troopers showed up to divert the traffic around my truck. Eventually, a "HERO" vehicle showed up and at the direction of the police, my truck was "DRAGGED" from the passing lane to the emergency lane. As for getting a tow truck, 1 finally showed up after 5+ hours. I found out the you all have a contract with "AAA", which is the worse when it comes to getting any assistance. I was towed back to [XXX] to South Town GMC dealership & arrived at 11.25pm. It was only the next morning that I received an email from OnStar dated 7-23 at 5.07pm, with an "Advance Diagnostics" advising of a critical issue with the engine & transmission. The code was: P129F, which is the fuel pump and/or module. My truck now sits at the dealership with a dead battery, waiting for them to address. I have heard that there are issues and recalls in certain vehicles with this similar issue. I do have "extended warranty" protection thru Ally that I bought. However, the shock is finding out that the only way to get it in
Truck did not stop when applying brakes. Message displayed brake system failure and the breaks were spongy. The truck was towed to the dealer and required the master cylinder, gasket, and reservoir to be replaced with 23,403 miles. This appears to be an ongoing issue with GMC Sierra trucks and needs further investigation as this potential could be catastrophic. Also, as this appears to be an ongoing issue, owners should not be responsible for the cost associated with any repairs and should require an immediate recall.
The upper part of the grill was rattling while I was on a 270 mile road trip. I stopped, inspected it, and found multiple mounting points cracked. I did not feel it was safe to continue driving with it being so loose so I installed four zip ties to continue my trip back home. Safety recall N242490120 had already been completed which means this is the second time the plastic clips on the grill have failed.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while driving uphill at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled and failed to return to normal operation. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer to be diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced; however, parts to repair the vehicle were unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
1 year after having the grill deflector piece being replaced on my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X, under the recall. The new grill deflector became detached and flew off my vehicle. Clearly, the recall fix by GMC did not work.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while merging onto the interstate at approximately 65 MPH, the rear wheels unexpectedly locked up without warning. The contact stated that the rear wheels remained locked for approximately half a second, causing a sudden reduction in speed and requiring the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was driven to a relative's residence and was then towed to a dealer. The dealer had not diagnosed the failure, and no repairs had been performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was advised that there would be a follow-up. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.
On July 3,2026 I was driving my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 on the highway at a speed of 70mph when the front chrome deflector flew off my vehicle. It tore paint off the hood, and also cracked my windshield. I searched online and noticed this had a safety recall for this issue. I see the recall was done in January 2026, AND has failed completely. I still have the service records of previous repair. GM is giving me issues on finding a remedy to fix this.
My gmc sierra had no warning lights, on the way to work on the highway it started making noises which increase every mile .Vehicle just turned 60.049miles . Engine completely seized up , low oil pressure light on , vehicle shuts off , luckily making to the shoulder and off the road. Gm towing wasn't any help in middle of the winter with 0° outside that morning , they told me that it's not covered under warranty and it would take 3 hrs for towing to get to me and out of my packet cost . Dealer diagnosed issue , found code P0016 (crankshaft position-intake camshaft position not plausible) also found excessive amounts of metal in the oil. Vehicle was repaired and second engine was installed .
The grill deflector near the hood flew off on the highway … took it to the dealership and they only have a recall for the Chrome 22 gmc sierra grill deflector for the same issue but not the elevation black ..no Warning lamps or lights it flew out of know where no warranty to cover it
Bezel flew off on highway. Subsequently, dealer service had to replace both the bezel and grill bc of how it was attached. For some reason the vin was not included in a recall of 70K trucks that were same year make and model as mine. I would like to be included in the recall.
Loud knocking noise started while motor is running. Took to dealer who confirmed the noise and inspected. Metal confirmed in the oil pan and throughout motor. Service advisor said a new motor will be needed and has sent info to GM. This vehicle was checked per the recall and passed the pico test. Oil was changed to new GM 0-40 by dealer.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. The contact stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V797000 (Power Train). While the contact’s husband was driving 55 MPH, the vehicle stalled, the rear wheels locked up, and the vehicle decelerated until coming to a full stop. The engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to dealer and was diagnosed with transmission control valve failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact associated the failure with the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,400.
I was driving at 45 mph and all of a sudden the screens went black as if the truck was turned off and the first thing I did was turn on the hazards because I didn’t know if the engine shut off either there was on coming traffic from both my front and back so I was scared my truck shut off 5-7 seconds later the screens turned back on and everything went back to normal but I was scared that my truck just turned off I made the dealership aware of this issue as soon as I pulled over and they said they had a busy schedule and that they would try to have a manager reach out to me to “squeeze me in” Mind you I just got my truck back from the dealership due to electrical issues and service yesterday and not even 24 hours later this happened so I am upset.
Was driving down the road at 35 mph and the truck started to shake and the the transmission shifted really hard check engine light came on. Pulled over truck wouldn’t go into reverse and wouldn’t shift correctly. Had my truck towed home called the dealership they said I will need to have it towed in. Several days later the check engine light was off I took the truck around the block it was running okay. Drove it the next day it did the same thing shook really bad shifted hard and wouldn’t shift correctly my go I took reverse. Had it towed to the dealership. The dealership said it was the same problem they are having on other trucks with this same transmission truck is out of warranty and GM will not cover the cost to fix it.
The Telematics Control Module failed - it no longer functions. This affects the ability to use OnStar services, such as navigation assistance, but especially OnStar emergency services which would be needed in case of a vehicle crash or other emergency. OnStar no longer works due to the module failure. There is a backlog of at least several months, or longer, before a new module is available. Many people complain that the replacement module often fails within a few months,
On November 20, 2025, my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 equipped with the 3.0L Duramax diesel engine began experiencing intermittent engine overheating conditions. Concerned about a potential safety issue, I contacted a GMC dealership and was advised that because no diagnostic trouble codes were present, there was nothing to diagnose or repair and that I should continue driving the vehicle. Over the following months, the overheating condition continued intermittently. On May 24, 2026, while driving on the highway, the vehicle suddenly overheated, displayed fault code P1098, and entered reduced power ("limp mode"). The vehicle lost normal performance and acceleration while traveling in traffic. This created a significant safety hazard because the vehicle was unable to maintain normal highway speeds, increasing the risk of a rear-end collision or other traffic accident. The loss of power occurred while driving and without sufficient warning, leaving the vehicle unable to safely perform as expected in highway traffic. After researching this issue, I found numerous reports from other GMC and Chevrolet owners describing similar overheating, coolant control valve, thermal management system, and P1098-related failures. Many owners report symptoms involving engine overheating, reduced engine power, and limp mode operation while driving. I am concerned that this may indicate a broader defect involving the vehicle's cooling system and thermal management components. The vehicle exhibited over
On June 1, 2026 driving eastbound on I-64 in Louisville, KY. Engine shut-off warning popped up and engine immediately shut off. There were no prior warnings or unusual engine or noises. 3 passengers in car. Had to change 2 lanes and then onto shoulder while coasting and slowing down. Car was incapacitated and gave battery and 0% oil read. Oil is changed regularly and engine recall work had been performed on truck several months prior. Car at dealership, not analyzed or repaired yet.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated upon shifting to park(P) and attempting to turn off the vehicle, the message "Shift to Park" was displayed. The contact waited and attempted to park and turn off the vehicle again, and the vehicle responded after several attempts. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the shifter assembly needed to be replaced due to internal short to the solenoid not allowing the vehicle to detect that it was in park(P). The vehicle was being repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint filed. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.
On 05/30/26, During normal operation of my vehicle (2022 GMC Sierra Elevation) at about 50MPH the Upper Grille Molding became detached while on the Highway. The safety of other cars or motorcycles was placed at risk because the part could have impaled or impacted myself through a windshield or someone driving behind me. The problem has been known to exist in other similar models and an existing recall does exist for those models (N242490120 Chrome Grille Deflector May Detach). On 06/01/26 the vehicle was taken to a Kelly Buick GMC, INC where it was assessed. According to the representative, even though I have not been the only one to report the problem with a different model than that specified on the recall number, they refused to cover the cost of repairs because my VIN does not fall into the recall specifications. Absolutely no other symptoms were noted prior to the part failure no rattling, whistling or any visible signs.
The transmission on the vehicle failed, it is currently sitting at a GMC dealership awaiting repair. However the valve body is on back order and there is no time table for repair to occur. My family and my safety was put at risk not knowing that the 10 speed transmission could result in rear tire lockup while on the highway, also the inability to put the truck in reverse to back away from any potential hazard. The problem was confirmed by GMC of Attleboro Mass. The vehicle was inspected by technicians at said dealership. There were no prior warnings, however the truck did feel hesitant to shift on the highway a week or two prior to failure.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated while driving, the vehicle decelerated unintendedly and failed to exceed 50 MPH on several occasions. The check engine warning light illuminated, and the message " Reduced Acceleration - Drive With Care" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, and the OnStar sensors, the fuel injectors and 8 spark plugs were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who retrieved DTCs: P0747, indicating a pressure control solenoid A stuck on failure, and P0700, indicating a transmission control module failure. The dealer determined that the failure was related to GM Special Coverage Number: N242454441 (Momentary Rear Wheel Lock-Up); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance in adding the VIN to the Special Coverage. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
I was driving, my front grill protector that was fixed with recall flew off again. This needs to be fixed. The part flew off hit my window and almost hit two cars that were behind me. This could of resulted in a bad accident. No warnings, it just happened.
Multiple times now my vehicle has had its engine locked up while driving at highway and regular uphill driving. Along with towing aswell. I have had it repaired multiple times and last time dealer wouldn’t tell me what happened because GM wouldn’t let them figure out what happened. Along with multiple attempts at fixing the transmission and brakes that are still on going issue. Same with the engine.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 MPH the rear wheels suddenly seized causing the vehicle to abruptly stop in the middle of the road. The vehicle was restarted and slowly driven home. The contact indicated that later after restarting the vehicle it was discovered that the vehicle would not drive forward or in reverse. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the transmission had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V083000(POWER TRAIN ). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced that same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 67,000.
The front grille deflector on my GMC Sierra flew off my truck on a windy day, hit my windshield hard but luckily did not crack it. A vehicle behind me did swerve out of the way to avoid the flying grille deflector but no accident luckily occurred. The piece is damaged but I was able to recover it. I had called the dealership I bought this vehicle at ( around June of 2025) they had confirmed this recall was “fixed” a few months prior to my purchase of the vehicle. Question from me would be, would my local certified GM dealership be able to provide this recall fix? I do not necessarily like the idea of taking back a potential highway safety hazard 2 hours away from my home on the interstate 70 mph back home once this is fixed / repaired with glue/ epoxy that may need 24-48 hours of drying time to cure. Also how can I trust the dealership who “fixed” this issue for it not to happen again?
2022 Limited GMC Sierra AT4 1500 motor seized on highway with loss of propulsions on highway while towing an empty horse trailer. Truck had 64,000 miles. While driving it had lack of power and then flashed on dash to shift neutral and press start/stop button. Coasted to a stop on the side of the highway and shut truck off at which point it would not turn back on. Officer stopped to check as complaints about a truck partially on the side of the road. Had someone come to assist and try to diagnose. Had to tow truck off highway with trailer while officer followed behind with lights. Dropped truck off in empty lot unhooked trailer and left truck to be towed to dealer the next day. Dealership confirmed that day engine had failed under the L87 6.2L V8 motor recall. Gave approx estimate of two weeks to fix. Currently at day 38 with no fix completed yet. GM and dealer have both given run around blaming each other for the delay in providing a comperable "like" vehicle that can supplement towing needs broken truck was used for.
1 month after warranty was up the dash light came on. After researching and speaking with the dealers. Pull the F11 fuse then try un hooking the negative battery terminal. This worked for a few weeks. Then told it could be a software issue. I spent many hours search the internet only to find out there are thousands of trucks dealing with the same issue. Why is there a recall on a grill and not this issue? Lots of very unhappy GMC truck owners!!!
I had the recall performed to reinforce the upper grille deflector on my truck because there was risk of it flying off at highway speeds. Last week driving down the highway my grille deflector flew off and had the car behind me not swerved, they would have been struck by it. I have an appointment at my dealership tomorrow.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra LD Crew SLT. The contact stated that the vehicle's front driver side and passenger side doors do not lock when depressing the key fob and while inside the vehicle. The dealer was contacted; however the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 68,000.
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra Denali 1500. The contact stated that while driving at 73 MPH the vehicle lost motive power. The contact was able to pull over safely. The driver was unaware of any warning lights being illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was not available.
Telematics (OnStar) Module Dealership has checked it, the telmatic module is bad. And the dealership i went to Dossit big 4 in Tupelo MS told me this has been a problem with this truck. And are wanting me to pay $645 to fix it. After they just did some recalls and updated the software. This was working before then.
Electronic tailgate failed when driving uphill. Tailgate fell open

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
