2015 FORD FUSION. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO BRAKE FAILURE. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT FORD WILL NOT REIMBURSE THEM FOR ALL REPAIRS.

While riding in the above vehicle we were going about 40 miles per hour. Then about 50 feet in front of us there was a vehicle that was reversing. The driver hit the break very hard but the vehicle was not slowing down. While I understand that the recent recalls of 2013 - 208 Ford Fusion sedan were not for hybrid vehicles. I think the hybrid also have the same issue or have a different with the brakes of the car. It

Coolant sensor malfunction. Should let me know when its low. Did not. Had coolant. Sensor never worked properly. Internal engine block burn. Took to a mechanic. Replaced sensor too late. I am so screwed still paying for it.

Brake fluid leaks. Mechanic cost too much to fix. Said it might be master cylinder.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion. The contact stated upon starting the vehicle, the brake pedal was depressed and went down to the floorboard. The contact's husband added brake fluid to the reservoir; however, the failure persisted. Upon inspecting underneath the vehicle, the contact's husband noticed that the brake fluid was leaking. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that one of the front brake hoses had ruptured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Engine coolant over temperature light came on as I was pulling in my driveway. Checked the coolant, it was very low. There’s been no visible leaks on the driveway. Added coolant, turned the vehicle on but the car barely turned over. It’s not drivable. Will need to be towed to the dealer. By all the research I have done, this is a huge issue on this year, make and model with the eco boost engine. This needs to be on the recall program.

The trunk on my 2014 ford fusion SE randomly opens. This occurs 3 to 4 times per day. Sometimes while driving, other times while its parked. This obstructs my view, and can cause danger to other drivers if contents in my trunk fly out.

My Fusion stalled when exiting a parking lot in a busy downtown area when my 17-year-old son was driving. It restarted and he was able to drive home. After the initial incident, for several days the car sputtered repeatedly. Upon inspection, the Ford dealership indicated the car has coolant leaking into a cylinder causing the performance issues. The Ford dealer service agent indicated I needed a new engine because of the situation. This is just not right. This issue should have been addressed by Ford the right way (when they knew of the design flaw), rather than pushing the problem to its customers, putting their lives and safety at risk.

Tire kept going low, and I took it to Walmart since I was closer to them and was told by the technician that the tire was separating at the rim area and it’s a manufacturer’s defect. They sealed the tire and told me it need to be replaced. He said it had good tread and shouldn’t do that. I informed him that I bought from Meineke. So I took it back to Meineke and was told that there was nothing they could do since it was sealed somewhere else.

Brakes suddenly went out while vehicle was in use. Brake pedal went all the way to the floor and emergency brake did not work or secure vehicle. No dash warnings or lights showed up in advance for warning. Vehicle was towed to mechanic where it was confirmed that a part of the brake line had ruptured on the passenger side and would not allow fluid to be retained. Repair Cost was paid out of pocket and owner was out of work 2 day.

Brakes failed ,hoses

The trunk of my 2014 Ford Fusion SE has been opening up randomly on its own for at least 3 years now. The trunk opens up at completely random times and is not exclusively associated with use of the car. The trunk opens up overnight as much as when the car is in use, unlocked, locked, or when the trunk has been purposely opened by me. My safety is put at risk because it provides unlocked access to the contents of my trunk to the public. My safety is put at risk because it has opened while driving. The safety of others is put at risk because my trunk opening while driving could effect my driving such that other drivers in my vicinity will be put at risk. The problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. The vehicle or component has been inspected by the manufacturer and others and were not able to reproduce the problem. The other symptom of the problem is that the car will unlock and lock itself randomly while driving, indicated by the unlock/lock sound that the car makes. These symptoms and problems first appeared in 2019.

My son completely lost control over the steering wheel while driving on the high way with 65mph, he hardly managed - was lucky - to control the vehicle till it stopped safely. I can not emphasize how much dangerous this was (he received alarm on the dashboard and lost steering power directly after the alarm ).

My child and I were traveling. We were getting off an exit to put some gas.That exit was a bit Icy with snow but when we saw it was to late to stop. On that exit their was a huge pot hole impossible to see and for me to stop in time, my speed was 35 mph and slowing down on the exit. When i went down the exit and hit the pot hole it sounded horrible my son started to panic and i pulled over right away. My tire pressure light turn on as soon as we hit the pot hole. I was very lucky that a man saw everything and came to help. He has stated that the same thing had happened to his wife the day before. My original tire was a Nexen 235/40R19 Dot UAM3 CMBR 1921.

I receive this message sporadically. It disables the heat and air to my vehicle, also the passenger side front and rear window locks. When it's cold the heat does not work and when it's hot the air does not work. Also, when it rains or if it's a muggy day the windows fog up and I'm unable to defrost them. This is a major hazard. Can you please assist?! "Temporarily lost communication with the Climate System"

While navigating normal road conditions, the vehicle continues pull in the direction of a turn and requires more effort than normally needed to correct direction. This happens while turning in both directions but is more noticeable to the left. There are no warning messages. Was advised by Ford Dealership where vehicle was purchased and routinely maintained that the entire steering rack requires replacement and that there are no serviceable parts within that steering rack. The price for repair stated to be $3,475.00. There are multiple steering recalls listed for this vehicle, however my VIN number is not included in these recalls.

Started to drive and it said pull over Loss Steering - Now ford is saying it will be no safety recalls. The same year fusion has steering recall for the same reason rust and corrosion.

Unknown but every time I get gas my car basically tries to stall out or does stall out. Has stalled out 2x while at a red light. Has been happening the entire time I have owned this car. Over a year and half

While driving heard a noise and saw a warning light on the dash light up, took it in to be checked and was told the brake hoses just suddenly busted.

Airbag sensor is on. Took to mechanic and the wire that runs thru latch has broken apart. Need to replace latch as well as wiring

I was driving my car when our of no where, the power steering stopped functioning and two messages started to flash on my dashboard: "Steering Assist Fault Service Required" and "Service Advancetrac" This was very dangerous as I could not steer the car. Once I was able to get the car home, I scanned it and received these two codes: "C0051 Steering Wheel Position Sensor" "U0420 Invalid Dates Received from Power Steering Control Module (PSCM)"

While driving on the highway, I noticed a "hitch" in the steering. The car would wander one way or the other and when I attempted a normal, minor steering correction, the wheel would hit a "hitch" which would require a little more of a tug to get past the "hitch". It became a real issue to drive the car in a straight line without zig zagging down the road, because minor corrections could not be made without a tug. When I got off the highway onto two way traffic, the issue was more concerning as tugs were needed to be made to keep the car from pulling towards the road centerline into oncoming traffic, then back towards the ditch. The "service advance track " and "uphill assist" warning messages appeared as well as the traction control off icon. The Ford garage indicated the Power Steering Control Module: Replace PSCM (steering gear) includes PMI and transfer outer tie rod ends/ 2 tie rod end nuts and steering shaft bolt + 4 wheel alignment when completed. There have been multiple recalls for this issue but my vin # not included in recall, even though I bought the car new in Michigan and it has remained in Michigan. From the many complaints I see on your sight, this is a known safety issue. Somebody is going to end up getting killed from this issue if they haven't already. Please take this very dangerous situation seriously and force the hand of Ford into recalling all defective vehicles. Ford's bottom line is not more important than even 1 life. Vehicle cannot be safely driven

My engine light came on. Code is PP0456 - evap leak. Dealer found that gromet/seal on tank is failing. This part is not serviceable, so the entire fuel tank needed to be replaced. After dealer discount, the cost was $2242.24. Dealer is Larry H. Miller Ford, Mesa, AZ, phone (480) 530-9600. I have owned many Ford vehicles since 1978 and never experienced such an expense. In my opinion, this is a design issue since the rubber seal is not serviceable. This experience is causing me to lose faith in the Ford brand. Is FMC willing to assist with this expense? Please note - this vehicle has only been serviced at the dealership.

I went to a dealership in north Vernon Indiana and I was told when the parts come in I’ll get a call no one called me to notify me about any parts to fix my recall I never gotten my door latches fixed.

The Climate Control Computer fails to stay on recirculation mode when heating causing driver to press every 15 minutes while driving putting driver and other drivers at risk because of having to look off road while pressing. Ultimate Ford dealership has inspected and attempted to repair the problem but did not during the warranty period. The dealership has barred me from having service completed in the local area within a one-hour drive from my home from merely the fact that they could not repair the problem. Now, several recalls which are not safe on my car cannot be repaired because of their immature behavior. There was no warning about this problem beforehand. No receipts but letter to Ford attached.

Trunk continues to unlatch and open on its own. It pops open when driving or parked and if vehicle is in motion causing things to fly out of trunk and hit other cars. I have had professionals look at it and it still doesn’t work. The trunk open indicator on the dash always clicks, lights up, and says trunk ajar.

My 2014 Ford fusion completely lost power and wouldn't even start or turn on novemeber13, 2022. The car was towed to a dealership, and I was told that the coolant was going inside of the engine and causing corrasion. We contacted the warranty company and was told that this was a manufacture's default and that they wouldn't fix/ replace my engine because my whole engine needed to be replaced. I contacted ford and they said there was no recalls on my car and in 2017 I saw on cars.com that the engine/ coolant system for ford fusions from 2014-2017 were recalled but Ford said there was no such recall and that their recalls have an S in them and not a v.

At 87549 miles the right front hydraulic brake hose ruptured under braking causing near complete loss of braking ability for the vehicle. The mechanic who replaced the hose said it failed at the wheel side connector fitting causing near complete loss of brake fluid in the braking system. There were no warning lights or messages prior to the hose failure. I requested the hose be saved and it is in my possession. The vehicle was not inspected by any other party.

Vehicle overheating issues, coolant leak, not able to drive the car

Awhile back before the part was recalled the shifter cable gasket slipped and the transmission was stuck in park in a drive through fast food restaurant line. Luckily I acted quick and resolved the issue by locating the gasket and dropping the ball into the shifter cable hole. On the highway I noticed white smoke and sputtering/jerking, I took the car straight to ford. Dropped it off and today learned there is coolant intrusion causing the engine to have to be replaced while other vehicles are hnder recall mine is not. This vehicle is a major safety concern.

UNKNOWN. I just know something not right with my car. My brake lights will not turn off. There is something wrong with well i think there is something wrong with the transmission and steering. I took my 2014 ford fusion, per a recap letter, to my local dealership on 10/11/22. I was notified today, 10/14/22, that the part ordered was DENIED by ford due to a policy to prevent dealerships from “hoarding” parts. Apparently my dealership has ordered too many brake line parts. I was told that they would retry on 10/17/22 but couldn’t guarantee it would be approved. I’m the meantime I’m without a car as my brake line is leaking and if I have to drive it’s a risk. How can parts be DENIED for a RECALL?!?!? This policy puts drivers at extreme risk of injury or death while they wait for their cars to be fixed.
