There is intermittent failure when brakes are applied. Periodically when we push the brakes they go all the way to the floor and the car keeps moving forward and not brake. Door handle failures (inside the vehicle) are very well documented and very well known to break off the mechanism required to open the door. This isn't just a minor annoyance, it is a MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD, caused by either poor design, poor materials, poor process control, poor validation testing, poor part quality or poor management in concealing this as not being worthy of a recall. How many lives are you willing to risk before doing a recall? The problem has been well known & documented for well over a decade, and it is still happening in the field. If someone has not died from this door lever failure it is only a matter of time. My family's lives are in jeopardy every time we drive this vehicle with a known likelihood of the door handles failing to open the door. You may not be able to open any other door, depending on the damage from an auto accident, but Ford has not taken responsibility for this high-risk to life and limb of its occupants. For such a cheap injection molded plastic part with no glass-fill, it is apparent that you went with the cheapest material possible. You've done it for over a DECADE and choose to ignore the problem until someone sues you or dies as a result of this safety problem. Whether it is a knitline defect you have no process controls to prevent part weakness, or the excessively small part fillet, or the material thickness, subpar material properties or molded part process flow problems, Ford is clearly cutting corners on the design & manufactu

Shortly after a having the rear brake pads replaced, I noticed that the handbrake (or e-brake) would lose tension over night, but not always. Since this was occasional, then it appeared to be a hydraulic issue. About three months later (9/15/22), the brake pedal stopped working correctly and the pedal had to travel further, and be pushed to the floor to bring the car to a gradual stop. I almost went into the back of another vehicle, it's fortunate that I was travelling at a low speed when the brake failed. I took the vehicle to my Ford dealer/service shop and, following their inspection and diagnostic assessment, was told that there is a problem with the hydraulic control unit (HCU), and that the it would need to be replaced and the lines flushed. This sounds like the same HCU problem that lead to the recall for 2006-2010 Ford Fusion vehicles - refer Ford Motor Company (Ford) Recall No. 19S54 - https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2019/RMISC-19V904-0442.pdf Per linked pdf, the NHTSA opened EA18-002 and included inquiry of 2006-2012 Fords Fusion vehicles. It appears that only the older 2006-2010 models were included in the recall. However, as the newer (2012) models reach a similar mileage or age, it may worth reevaluating and extending the scope of the recall in the interest of safety for the traveling public. Had the brake failed while traveling a higher speed, then my life, my children's lives and others would have been at risk.

The car suddenly accelerated 3 times since it was purchased new in 2011. The 1st time I was parking and the car suddenly accelerated and hit a cement wall. The second time I was also entering a parking spot and the car suddenly accelerated and crashed into a tree. I took it to my dealer and they were unable to replicate the problem. this was in 2015. On 9/13/2022 I was about to make a right turn and suddenly the car accelerated at high speed and crossed over the road onto the golf course before I was able to slow it down. I immediately parked the car and haven't driven it since. I feel that it is unsafe to drive especially since the dealer was unable to identify the problem.

The power steering assist fault code came on the dash, I since had the car at the dealership and was told it was covered and would be repaired 2 days later I got a call telling me it was gonna cost $1801.00 this problem came on suddenly and could of caused a deadly accident was told at dealership that repaired it that the warranty ran out after 10 years the car is a 2012 and warranty ran out a few months ago but this being a major steering problem and could cause a major accident or fatality(s) I believe this should have been a major recall but as owner of this vehicle there was never any outreach from the dealership on this steering problem

My car was under a recall to have power steering gear replaced and ford will not fix it. The wheel is so hard I can barely move it .

My drivers side door handle will only work from the outside I was told to contact the highway safety admin because it’s technically a safety issue if I had and emergency and had to hurry up and exit my vehicle. It’s like jammed or something and doesn’t lock until I manually lock an lock my door but I’m unable to get out from the inside safety and I was already in a car accident once in my life I would really like to get my door handle fixed please

Pep Boys clerk refused warranty adjustment, citing abuse & neglect, but no visible markings present to indicate same. All signs point to manufacturer's defect. The defective tire has been replaced.

They're "Advancetrac" system does NOT store error messages, so taking it to a dealership is a pointless and very expensive process as they will simply throw around random, costly "fixes." This is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately. Again.

CAR HAS BEEN ON RECALL OVER A YEAR . WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO HAVE IT FIXED?

In 2019 my power steering failed on my 2012 Ford Fusion. I had if fixed because I was not part of the recall for power steering. Well on August 2nd 2022 it has failed again. And needs replacing again.

Rear tail light side parking marker. All marker lights in working order is required to pass Delaware state inspection. The LED is hard wired within the housing unit and is not a replaceable bulb. I have to replace the housing assembly for 160.00 plus tax for a simple light. Car is 10 years old. I don't believe Ford expected it to fail for the life of the car. Part 13404. The side marker light is not on the parts diagram. I can replace the part but was hoping Ford would cover the bill, but I admit, i am venting frustration.
