Hard shifting

We purchased our vehicle brand new in 2015 with 6 miles on it. 1. The vehicle has always shifted hard, but every time I brought it up at the dealership I was told that "the car is just learning my driving habits" Here we are 10 years later and my car is still shifting hard and it still won't fall into gear like it's supposed to. 2. Within the first 6 months the airbag light came on and would throw a warning message on the display, to have it checked. Even after acknowledging that I had seen the message it would beep at me and come on almost immediately. I took it in to the dealership on 3 different occasions while it was still under the 3 year warranty. The first two times I asked about it the dealership told me that they found a water bottle stuck under the passengers seat and that it was causing the wires to not stay connected. They claimed that it fixed the problem each time. The third time I took it in I made sure there was no trash under the seat and reset the light. After a day or so the warning light came back on. This time they said they would replace the parts under the seat, but I went to pick up my vehicle the dealership seemed confused about what was supposed to have been done. Then they said it was all fixed and hustled me out the door. I've asked about the issue at least 2 more times since being out of warranty. The heated seats will randomly turn on or off. They won't turn on other times and then won't turn off majority off the time.

My transmission is the problem yes its available for inspection my safety was at risk it happened about 3 days after i financed the car from carwise iom peoria il they told me there was nothing they could do about it even though i had a 15 day/500mile powertrain warranty it has not yet been inspected ive had the car for about 4 months now and it happens every 2 weeks on and off feeling worser and worser my check engine light and service transmission light pops up while driving when shifting from drive to reverse it will not go into any other gear or move after that the gear shifter starts blinking above the neutral emblem and it tells me to engage parking break to prevent rolling backwards there are no active recalls on the vehicle if tried reaching out to the nearest chrysler dealership near me but i have to wait an entire month for service this incadent has just acured again except this time i was stopped at a light and the car began to roll back almost causing an accident i dont know what to do

The 2 recalls R-24 and R-55 were both supposedly fixed at the hunt Chrysler in Franklin ky but my vehicle is still shifting up into neutral randomly I almost got hit because I was pulling out of a stop sign and the car stalled and went into neutral and I was stuck in the middle of the road and luckily nobody was coming so I had time to restart the car and get out of the way but the recall work they did was not done correctly otherwise they would have not called and said my car was ready to be picked up. Then they hung up on me when I called to see what I needed to do about getting my car back in to be fixed correctly and they literally hung up and refused to do their job and ensure that my vehicle is safe by correctly performing the recall work that Chrysler sent them to do. I looked it up and the step by step guide is online and they did not follow Chryslers guidelines or standards and I want answers please.

The check engine light activated, prompting me to pull over immediately and have the vehicle towed. The diagnosis indicated a misfire, which is a known issue acknowledged by the manufacturer. However, the dealer has now stated that the vehicle requires a new engine, despite the absence of any prior warning signs. Refer to TSB 1022106 and additional service communications brought forth by Chrysler to NHTSA. There was absolutely no prior warning of this to me.

The wiring harness caught fire suddenly with no warning! It was on top of the intake under the cover. This is not acceptable!

The uconnect/radio is off and it is available for inspection. In some extreme cases, a malfunctioning radio could potentially interfere with other critical vehicle functions, creating a safety hazard. Also it interferes with my A/C & only blows hot air when it chooses to work. It hasn’t been expected by the manufacturer, it’s only been expected audio tech & mechanics & stated they can’t detect the problem. There was no warning signs just a complete shut off & never turned on again

The radio screen sounded as if it shorted out, went blank, and now my battery dies if I don't run my car every day. My odometer flashes and my engine light is on, but the engine codes that come up are related to the Evap. System Integrity Module, and the Active Grille Shutter that I'm sure need replacement due to age. I'm not sure if there is indeed a short, but my battery has been replaced three times (this time being the fourth) since 2019 which seems excessive leading me to believe that there may be one. When reaching out to my local dealership I am advised to bring in for them to look at which costs $150.00 just for the service department to troubleshoot. I during a previous recall I was informed that it costs $1800 to replace the radio. Upon further review I discovered that I am not the only owner with this same issue. Several owners have has this happen to their vehicles. I believe this is worth looking into.

When not coming to a complete stop for at least 5 seconds and trying to get going again the car bogs down / hesitates almost feels like it has stalled for around 3 to 5 seconds then lurches forward and engine continues to rev even after accelerator has been released. For example coming up to a red light that turns green before you finish stopping, yield signs or slowing into a turn lane and trying to get across on-coming traffic. It is extremely dangerous and seriously needs to be looked into. I have seen several complaints about this. This is very common and needs to be fixed. This is also reoccurring problem that happens in these situations every time.

I took my car in to get my recalls fixed and they are not fixed yet they claim to be fixed on record. One is a transmission sensor and the other is electrical. The issue i am having is my car is shutting off the power to the engine while driving. This is causing serious issues when driving on busy highways and other roadways. I am terrified of my engine stopping on the interstate and getting hit by other car due to being unable to drive my car. This instance has happened once where my engine has stopped randomly while on the highway. The other issue is it will not start, there is an issue with the electrical not sending information over to my cars computer to start it. I have been left stranded late after work some days or unable to drive my car at all. The dealership claims all recalls have been fixed but after going to (2) different places they do not assume they have been fixed due to this being the only cause for this issue to be happening still. The code my car is reading is the P0335 Sensor which has been replaced * i did witness a new one being put in* and throwing a check engine light.

My car will not go into park. It will not engage. It is staying in gear. I called Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Lee Summit and they say that that has been repaired before there is a recall on it but there’s refusing to repair it. Never had that happen or had it repaired since I’ve owned the vehicle but unsafe and drivable Dangerous I was stuck in the middle of the street for over an hour was very very terrifying. Vehicle check engine light is constantly providing code P1065 and P1061. Have taken to the repair shop and the issue is low oil. Have to add oil between oil changes because the vehicle is consuming a lot of oil. It has been inspected with no oil leaks. Spoke with Clovis Chrysler and told vehicle is not under recall and I’m over the warranty range. Their answer is to replace engine. Chrysler needs to address this issue.

Car said engine was hot which it wasn't car won't move out of neutral.

I had just purchased my vehicle on 03/06/2024. A few days after purchasing my vehicle, the check engine light came on. I took it to Autozone to get the check engine light code read and see what the issue was. The code showed a cylinder 4 misfire. I purchased and replaced replaced the spark plugs, egnition coils, a sensor and cleaner for fuel injectors and throttle body. After I replaced the different parts, it was still showing the check engine light. I took it to Bi O Tires and they had the code read and told me it had a cylinder 4 misfire. They told me to take it to Tunex because they were not able to fix it there. I took it to Tunex and they did a diagnostic to see the reason it was misfiring and told me that the car wasn't misfiring and that the vehicle was fine. They turn the check engine light off and after a couple of days the check engine light came on. I took it to the Chrysler dealership to get it checked, they told me that they were going to check it and fix a recall issue on it, and that if the check engine light came on, they didn't know what to do. The check engine light is back on.

I have had my car since March 2020 and have continuously had to have my car in shop for o2 sensor, or camshaft sensor #6 This is causing safety issues and concern with engine as the light has been on but the only issue is while driving and my children are in vehicle will it just stop working on me in mid-traffic? Available upon request. Switching gears could be a hazard. Mechanic said a previous recall for issue was fixed. It has been sitting at the mechanics for 4 months. Vehicle ran fine in the morning. Went to drive and vehicle switched from park to neutral and break system lights came on. I went to try a few hours later and the car was dead and would not start. We tried to jump the car and it would not work.

When accelerating the car stalls and bogs down. Very dangerous when pulling out in traffic. Also when going downhill the engine will rev up even when brakes are applied.

Vehicle directional system indicates that vehicle is traveling in the opposite direction of actual movement. ie: indicates vehicle is traveling north when the vehicle is actually traveling south; west when actually traveling east; south when traveling north; east when actually traveling west You may think this is not a safety issue but if a driver goes by the vehicles indicated path of direction (especially at night), the driver could end up in an isolated/unpopulated area at a time when their vehicle requires gas, the driver requires emergency services, etc. In addition to being an inconvenience (adding miles/hours of travel to a drivers trip), this could be a safety issue/dangerous =>place a driver in an unsafe area/neighborhood &/or in an area with no services/facilitates to purchase gasoline, etc. ...have the driver-in an unfamiliar area-going in the opposite direction of emergency services/hospitals, etc. ...I recently purchased a used 2015 Chrysler 200 for a trip from AZ to NE NV. One day without warning (about 8/20/2023), the vehicle would not start. After too many attempts the vehicle went into a security lock out. Had a mobile locksmith come and issue 2 new key fobs, and he was able to get the car unlocked and started. Car ran fine for about 4 days and then once again would not start. Car was towed to dealership where I was advised it was a bad battery. Battery was replaced 9/6/23. No issues for just over 1.5 months. Then, without any warning, all of the lights on the dashboard lit up on 10/30/23 (everything from the battery light, to the check engine, to even the "service parking break" alert). The car even lost power steering. Luckily, I had enough time to pull into a parking lot and get the car parked in a spot. The car then lost its ability to start. Car was then towed to same repair center where they then advised me it was a bad alternator, and everything wrong was because of a Non-OEM sound system placed in the car (this was installed in June of 2020 and has run with zero issues) - they stated the alternator needed to be replaced. No mention of a bad alternator was reported in the first inspection of the same issue. Alternator was then replaced at a different repair facility. Somewhere between the two facilities, the additional sound system was disconnected from power from the car and is no longer active.
