Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2018-2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles. The fuel pump may fail, which can result in a loss of fuel flow and loss of drive power.

Risk. A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the fuel delivery module, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 7, 2025. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2021-2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles. The tire pressure and size information on the tire placard and manufacturer labels are incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Risk. Incorrect tire information can result in under-inflated tires or installing the incorrect-size tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. FCA will mail corrected tire placards and manufacturer overlay labels. Owners may bring the labels into a dealer for free installation. Some interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed August 27, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2024 through November 1, 2024. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia, 2018-2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, 2019-2023 Fiat 500X, Jeep Renegade, and 2024 Fiat 500E vehicles. A seat belt buckle switch sensor may be improperly connected, preventing the front seat air bag from deploying as intended.

Risk. A front seat air bag that does not deploy as intended can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2018-2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles equipped with carbon ceramic matrix brakes. During certain driving maneuvers, the brake system may exert an excessive clamp force that may fracture the rotor, decreasing the brake performance.

Risk. An unexpected decrease in brake performance increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the brake system module (BSM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 20, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 68A.

Defect. Alfa Romeo (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Giulia and Stelvio vehicles. The Body Control Module (BCM) may indicate an inaccurate fuel level that displays higher than the actual amount.

Risk. The vehicle may be operated without enough fuel in the tank causing a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Alfa Romeo will notify owners, and dealers will update the BCM software, free of charge. The recall began August 12, 2019. Owners may contact Alfa Romeo customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Alfa Romeo's number for this recall is V84.

Defect. FCA US LLC (Alfa Romeo) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and 2017-2019 Giulia vehicles. The Brake System Module (BSM) software may prevent the driver from disabling the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) after the traction control system detects a specific wheel slip.

Risk. The driver's inability to deactivate the ACC can increase the risk of crash.

Remedy. Alfa Romeo has notified owners, and dealers will update the BSM software, free of charge. The recall began March 25, 2019. Owners may contact Alfa Romeo customer service 1-800-853-1403. The Alfa Romeo number for this recall is V27.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles equipped with GME 280HP engines and All Wheel Drive ("AWD"). The brake fluid line may contact a coolant hose clamp, possibly causing brake fluid to leak onto the exhaust.

Risk. Brake fluid leaking onto the exhaust can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will install a bracket on the brake fluid line to prevent contact with the coolant hose clamp. If damage is found on the brake line, it will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began January 10, 2019. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles, equipped with 2.0L engines. These engines may misfire causing the catalytic converter to overheat, possibly resulting in damage to the nearby wiring and engine components.

Risk. Heat damage to the engine compartment wiring or components can increase the risk of a fire or it can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicles for diagnostic codes, and update the engine control module software, free of charge. The recall began October 10, 2018. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio vehicles. The braking system on these vehicles may have been filled with contaminated brake fluid, possibly damaging the system and affecting its performance.

Risk. A reduction in braking performance can increase the risk of a crash.

My Alfa Romeo with VIN [XXX] has an active recall 93C (NHTSA Recall 25V586) related to the Fuel Delivery Module. The recall specifically states that this issue can lead to a sudden loss of drive power while driving and possibly result in a crash. Due to the closure of the dealership in San Antonio where I live and purchased the car, the nearest Alfa Romeo authorized service center is in Austin, Texas. This is a distance of 125 miles from my home and involves primarily driving on highways with 70 mph speed limits. Because this is a critical safety recall, I have already scheduled an appointment with this dealer for the repair; however, when I contacted Alfa Romeo to inquire about arranging a tow from my home to the authorized repair center.,they would only cover the cost of towing the vehicle up to 15 miles. They quoted that I would need to pay an out of pocket cost of more than $1000 to have the vehicle towed for the recall repair. Forcing me to pay over $1000 or drive my vehicle 120 miles at highway speeds while there is an open stall/loss-of-power recall creates an unreasonable safety risk and illegal financial barrier. The contact owns a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V586000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact stated that while driving at various speeds on approximately five occasions, the vehicle went into LIMP Mode, lost motive power, and stalled on some occasions. The check engine warning light and the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) warning light were illuminated twice. The contact stated that while attempting to accelerate, the vehicle failed to accelerate above 30 MPH. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined to have a Co pump module failure because the pressure was too high and the Co pump module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,100.

The contact owns a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact stated that after driving the vehicle and parking the vehicle, upon returning to the vehicle a short time later, the vehicle hesitated while restarting. On another occasion, the vehicle was started and stalled while driving. Approximately 10 minutes later, the vehicle was able to be restarted. A diagnostic scan of the vehicle indicated a failure with the fuel delivery system. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where a temporary workaround was performed; however, the vehicle became inoperable shortly after being started and driven. No further repairs were completed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number 25V586000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.

Vehicle is affected by FCA recall 93C / NHTSA recall 25V-586 for Fuel Delivery Module / fuel pump failure that can cause fuel starvation and unexpected loss of motive power. NHTSA recall lookup shows the recall is incomplete and the remedy is not yet available. The vehicle is already symptomatic. It has active DTC P008A / low-pressure fuel system pressure too low, check engine light, and Start/Stop unavailable. It also has drivability symptoms: inconsistent acceleration, hesitation/poor response, and sometimes failing to restart after stopping in traffic, such as at traffic lights. This creates a risk of the vehicle being disabled in traffic or losing motive power without adequate warning. The dealer stated final recall parts are not available. Dealer offered only a no-charge interim fuel pump control module replacement, but quoted approximately $1,117 to replace the low-pressure fuel pump assembly / Fuel Delivery Module and O-ring. FCA/dealer has not provided written authorization for no-charge interim FDM replacement, has not guaranteed reimbursement if the owner pays now, has not provided alternate transportation, and has not provided a written safety determination that the vehicle is safe to operate while symptomatic. This issue appears long-known. FCA issued a P008A low-pressure fuel system service bulletin in 2018, NHTSA opened investigation PE24003 in January 2024, and recall 25V-586 was not filed until September 2025. Active recall: NHTSA Recall Number 25V-586. My car has now failed twice in traffic and is not safe to drive.

NHTSA RECALL #25V-586 Around September of 2025, I notified Alfa Romeo Customer service that my vehicle was experiencing symptoms of this recall. Symptoms include but are not limited to severe fuel pump whine that fluctuates with RPM, as well as intermittent LOMP. The whine is audible 100% of the time. The LOMP occurs intermittently, primarily shortly after starting the vehicle. On multiple occasions, I have to pull my vehicle to the side of the road because it is unable to effectively move under it's own power. Along with this LOMP, symptoms experienced are a heavy misfire along with a few service messages such as "Auto start unavailable, service electronic throttle, and service engine" along with a flashing check engine light. The fix appears to be power cycling the battery so that the fuel pump primes multiple times. I have called Alfa Romeo multiple times about this issue over the last few months, but all they tell me is that they cannot do anything until a remedy is available. Unfortunately, given the wait, symptoms have progressively gotten worse.

The contact owns a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact stated that while at a complete stop on several occasions, the engine abnormally revved to 1,100-1,400 RPMs. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed low speed on a ramp, the vehicle accelerated unintendedly and failed to decelerate while the brake pedal was depressed. Additionally, the contact stated that while at a complete stop at the red light, the engine revved, and the vehicle accelerated unintendedly while the brake pedal was depressed and struck another stopped vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. No police report was filed. The contact's vehicle sustained minor damage, while the other vehicle did not sustain damage. There was no warning light illuminated. There were no reported injuries. Both vehicles were drivable after the incident. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was test-driven, but the failure could not be duplicated. A third-party contractor, sent by the manufacturer, performed an evaluation of the vehicle and sent the raw data report to the contact. The contact noticed that the crash incident date listed on the report was March 4, 2026, while the incident occurred on April 4, 2026. The contact informed the third-party contractor of the error, and the contact was concerned that the contractor had pulled the wrong data because the incident date listed was incorrect. The manufacturer later sent a summary of the evaluation report to the contact, stating that the reported incident

Been waiting to have this recall repaired for months. I started the car and excessive amount of fuel was injected into the combustion chamber, cause a smoke cloud.

NHTSA #25V-586 Recall #93C 2017-2019 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA, 2018-2019 ALFA ROMEO The vehicle has been experiencing inconsistent fuel readings, an electronic throttle control fault, and a service engine warning. When the electronic throttle control fault occurs, the vehicle loses power, stalls, and struggles to accelerate, which raises concerns about its suitability for commuting. On several occasions, while driving on highways, my vehicle has experienced loss of power, resulting in a significant reduction in speed. This has necessitated extended commute times on streets due to the apprehension of causing accidents. Consequently, I have had to miss several workdays in an attempt to address this issue. Initially, I resorted to using rental vehicles out of pocket until a solution for this recall was found. However, despite my efforts, there has been no resolution, and I am left with concerns about driving my vehicle and potentially causing an accident due to the lack of safety measures or the ongoing financial burden of renting vehicles until a solution for the recall is implemented. Despite multiple attempts to schedule a repair, there has been no resolution, and the date for bringing the vehicle in for inspection continues to be postponed. I have been waiting for months received a letter from Alfa Romeo sent them my details, for them to get in touch with me when the remedy for this potential dangerous fault to be rectified. Many crashes have taken place, as the car could potentially cut out whilst on the highways. For Alfa Romeo to leave me in a state where this car could cut out without warning at any stage is not unacceptable. I have to use my car for work, and I am having to resort to using other means with the fear this car could cut out on me on the freeways. They have failed to respond to my email or have they sent me a followup letter to get my car booked in and fixed.

THE REAR VIEW CAMERA IS TOTALLY DARK AND I CANNOT SEE ANYTHING WHILE IT IS ENGAGED. THERE IS A RECALL ALREADY FOR SOME MODEL YEARS BUT NOT FOR MY ALFA ROMEO GUILIA 2018. I WANT THIS YEAR TO BE INLCUDED IN THE RECALL ALSO.

After towing my vehicle to Alfa Romeo of Mariettea on November 4th for recall 82B (seatbelt), my car immediately developed throttle hesitation, check-engine light, and start/stop warning light. These issues were not present before the service. Recall 93C (fuel delivery module) remains open, but the timing of these new problems indicates they arose from the 82B service. The dealership and Alfa Romeo have refused interim assistance, leaving my car unsafe to drive. Requested Actions: 1. Inspection and repair of the post-service throttle and engine issues. 2. Interim transportation (loaner or reimbursement) while 93C is pending. I have documented all communications with the dealership and Alfa Romeo Customer Care. The problems appeared immediately after the 82B recall service and were not present before.

This is a follow up for complaint #11693742 issued on October 16, 2025. I picked up my car from the dealership (Jim Ellis Alfa Romeo Atlanta) after the nearly $5k repair that they stated was due to an Oil Pump failure not the Fuel Pump failure as indicated by the Stellantis Recall, only to find that they falsified information on the paperwork description. They left out the information that I gave them when I told them that the dashboard displayed the following warning lights: ETC, Auto Start-Stop Unavailable, and Check Engine. They wrote only the Check Engine light was reported. They falsely stated that only the Check Engine light was illuminated, when in reality all three of the aforementioned warning lights were displayed the very morning that I had the car loaded on the tow truck. Please investigate Stellantis/Alfa Romeo for possibly misleading and falsifying information in order to have consumers foot the bill for repair for a fix for power loss due to a Fuel Pump failure when in actually it is an Oil Pump failure, or an Oil Pump failure that they are falsely claiming a Fuel Pump issue. This repair cost me about as much as the cost of a used 2018 Alfa Romeo, and the company is making enough money of this repair such that when they do honor the recall repair, then it won't cost them anything. It seems easy to me that if they is a Fuel Pump failure that is resulting in a recall, then the easy fix (that Stellantis should cover the cost) is to replace the fuel pump.

At night, with headlights set to AUTO, the headlights (right and left) will randomly turn of and on while driving. This could render my vehicle momentarily invisible to other drivers around me. Dealer confirmed the issue is the headlights. 70,000 mile service was just completed prior the the issues fist occurrence. No warnings or messages before the first incident.

On multiple occasions over last 3 years, vehicle has lost power while driving. Each repair service has credited it to batteries needing replacement and losing power. Have replaced batteries and kept them plugged in when car is parked at home. No longer driving car as it is not safe.

While driving 15-20mph, warning lights: Check Engine, Auto Start-Stop Unavailable, and ETC, all began to sequentially cycle. The car's ability to accelerate significantly decreased, even achieving 30-40mph was laborious. Once on the highway, the car was significantly slower and the power was obvious. The car took a long time to reach 55mph and was going over that speed. I had the car towed to dealership the next day, for I was afraid that it was the fuel pump failure and felt the car wouldn't make the 75mi drive. After a few days, the dealership said that the ETC Code wasn't the fuel pump, but the oil pump causing the power loss. They said that Alfa Romeo had many models have oil pump failures, and it requires engine tear down to replace the oil pump and cost about $5000. Alfa Romeo Customer Care stated there is no recall for this problem, so one has to pay the $5k for the repair. I think Alfa Romeo knows the true cause of the power loss problem and the remedy, and using the oil pump as a loophole to make the consumer pay for a problem that they should cover the cost of repair. My car is at Jim Ellis Alfa Romeo in Atlanta, Georgia.

The contact's husband owns a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact stated that while her husband was driving 60 MPH, several braking system warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel, including the ABS warning light. Upon depression of the brake pedal, the brake pedal depressed to the floorboard, and the braking system failed to operate as needed. Due to the failure, the contact's husband activated the hazard lights and coasted the vehicle to the residence. Upon exiting the vehicle, the contact saw brake fluid leaking underneath the passenger’s side of the vehicle. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to the dealer; the contact was informed that the hydraulic braking system had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer also informed the contact that the vehicle was previously serviced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V828000 (Engine and Engine Cooling, Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the vehicle was no longer covered under the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle remained in the possession of the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.

The contact was stranded and sat in the inoperable vehicle. In addition, the contact was pregnant and very uncomfortable sitting in an inoperable vehicle. The contact waited in the vehicle while waiting for the tow truck. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V586000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 69,500.

There were several code error messages describing a fuel pump issue that also creates other engine components to fail. For my concern of the safety my life, I paid to tow my vehicle directly to the car dealership service department to be inspected and am currently waiting to be contacted of their findings. In order to be able to move my car from blocking traffic and out of harm's way, the error codes had to be erased. I took pictures of the error codes prior to erasing and provided them to the service department for their review. Warning lamps and messages flashed simultaneously when my vehicle ceased to function. While driving my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio September 16, 2025, the engine ceased to function under legal normal driving conditions for no apparent reason. The engine immediately turned itself off, and both the steering wheel and vehicle was locked in place (unable to move). This event jeopardized me, and other affected drivers' lives. It was only due to the quick reaction of defensive driving attentiveness that prevented the potential collision of multiple vehicles including loss of life/lives. I had taken my vehicle to the same service department previously in November 2024 for the exact same type of issue (ceased vehicle, locked in place steering wheel and vehicle). However, because error messages were erased, the service department would not be able to know what steps were needed to fix the problem and that I should bring back my vehicle with error code
