Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS A MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES BUILT BY AM-SAFE. ON SOME SEAT BELTS, THE BUCKLE AND CONNECTOR MAY UNLATCH DURING A COLLISION.
Risk. SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH COULD OCCUR IF THE VEHICLE OCCUPANT IS NOT PROPERLY RESTRAINED.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE BUCKLE ASSEMBLIES.
RV HOT WATER HEATER ELECTRIC HEATING PROBE FAILED. FAILURE WAS FOUND TO BE A MELTED SWITCH THAT TURNS THE ELECTRIC TO THE HEATING PROBE ON AND OFF. I KNOW OF TWO SUCH FAILURES OF THE MELTED SWITCH. *TR
WHILE DRIVING HEATER CORE FAILED. CONSUMER PULLED OVER AND RESTATED THE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK
WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES PEDAL DEPRESSED TO THE FLOOR AND THE POWER STEERING FAILED.*AK
DRIVER'S SIDE WALL IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE CHASSIS PLATFORM. THE WALL IS STEADILY SLIDING DOWN TO THE SIDE OF VEHICLE. THERE IS A COVER OVER THE REAR DUAL WHEELS THAT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO FILL THE GAS TANK. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM AT NO COST TO THE CONSUMER. *AK THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT WARRANT THAT THE LONG TERM RELIABILITY OF THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN COMPROMISED. *NLM
