Defect. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2027 Arka recreational vehicles. The rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and cold tire inflation listed on the federal placard is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

Risk. An incorrect GAWR and cold tire inflation combination can lead to unintentionally overloading the tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Winnebago will mail out corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 19, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.

All 1 campaign on file, newest first.

Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Recall repairs are free for as long as the recall stands. Check whether a specific car still has open work at NHTSA's VIN lookup.
