NHTSA campaign 21V591000 · Part 573 safety recall report

Entegra Coach: Fuel System, Diesel › Fuel Injection System › Fuel Rail

Entegra Coach reported this defect to federal regulators on Jul 30, 2021 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 1,284. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.

The defect

Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Anthem, Aspire, Insignia, and Reatta XL Class A vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

The risk

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

The remedy

Entegra will work with Spartan and Cummins to inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Cummins began to notify owners July 30, 2021. Entegra owner notification letters began September 3, 2021. Owners may contact Entegra Coach customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

What this page is, and what to do next

A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.

This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 21V591000.
