Hyundai Motor Company reported this defect to federal regulators on Nov 6, 2013 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 21,207. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2007-2008 Hyundai Entourage vehicles manufactured from February 16, 2006, through June 30, 2008 and sold in, or currently registered in, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. In the affected vehicles, the front lower control arms may fracture due to corrosion resulting from exposure to road salt and water.
The risk
A fractured control arm can result in the loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the degree of corrosion of the front lower control arms, and will either rustproof or replace them, free of charge. The recall began on January 3, 2014. Owners may contact Hyundai at 1-800-633-5151 or by email at [email protected]. Hyundai's recall number is 115.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 13V556000.
