Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling various Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V824-0103.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Risk. If the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began February 14, 2018. Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2015-2017 RAM ProMaster City vehicles. These vehicles have incorrect information on the tire placard including incorrect vehicle capacity weight, total number of occupants, tire pressure and/or "None" designation for the spare tire size when a full size spare tire is present. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Risk. The incorrect tire placard can cause the operator to exceed the vehicle's weight capacity, or inflate the tires to an incorrect pressure, affecting vehicle handling, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect tire placard with a corrected one, free of charge. The recall began November 17, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T62.

Defect. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling one model year 2017 RAM ProMaster City vehicle manufactured on November 5, 2016. This vehicle has side curtain air bags that may not inflate properly in the event of a crash.

Risk. If the side curtain air bags do not inflate properly, the vehicle occupants are at an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Remedy. Chrysler has notified the owner, and a dealer inspected the side curtain air bags, free of charge. The recall began January 17, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is S95.

Vehicle is failing oil consumption test at 97,571 miles. They are saying it’s burning excessive oil due to failed piston which ran had an open recall for . I’d like my vehicle to be considered for oil consumption test and possible motor replacement.

The contact owns a 2017 Ram Promaster City. The contact stated that while coming to a stop, there was gray smoke coming from the exhaust pipe and the engine. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact who is a certified mechanic, performed an oil change and became aware that the engine was extremely low on engine oil. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and confirmed that the oil level was extremely. The dealer performed an oil consumption test. The test showed that the vehicle was two full quarts of oil low. The contact was informed that the engine block was damaged and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The contact stated that prior to the oil consumption test, whenever the vehicle was started, the vehicle vibrated abnormally. The contact inspected the vehicle and found that the oil level was low. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 180,000.

It is consuming a lot of oil after 5 thousand miles went from 5.5 quarts to 3.4 quarts

The contact owns a 2017 Ram Pro Master City. The contact stated that while the vehicle was stopped, the engine vibrated abnormally and there was a fuel-burning odor on the interior and exterior of the vehicle. The contact stated that while attempting to accelerate, the vehicle briefly lost motive power before the vehicle returned to normal functionality. The "General Warning Light” was illuminated. The failure became a regular occurrence, and the oil level was abnormally low. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or a dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

Oil consumption issue with the engine: there was an extended warranty on the engine but it apparently expired July of last year. I bought the vehicle in April, but the warranty did not show up under any recalls or Carfax report. I discovered the oil consumption problem at the end of July and have been getting the runaround from several dealerships. Finally made some headway today by starting the oil consumption test, but they called me an hour or so after the appointment to tell me Stalantis had JUST changed their policy, effective TODAY, that they would no longer honor goodwill warranties in vehicles 2018 or older.

My radio dont work i can see the camera to be reversed

The vehicle rpm reved up and then total loss of power then the vehicle caught fire wile driving down the road. Flames came out under dash and in engine compartment.

Oil consumption issue causing engine to stall without warning while driving. Burning through 2 quarts every 1000 miles. Almost caused 2 accidents so far.

MY VAN HAD A RECALL INVOLVING THE COOLING FAN, IT WAS REPAIRED. AT APPROXIMATELY 25,000 I HAD A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, THE DEALER SAYS IT'S THE THERMOSTAT NEEDING REPLACED ($588.00!!!??? AT UNDER 26,000 MILES???!!!) THE TEMP GAUGE ALWAYS SITS RIGHT AT THE HALFWAY MARK, THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT BUT THEY SAID THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V202000 (POWER TRAIN, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 57,787.

EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION.

NEWER TRUCK AND ENGINE JUST QUIT AS I WAS DRIVING ALONG. LOSE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. LUCKILY ON A BACK ROAD AND NOT GOING FAST. COULDN'T GET IT TO RESTART FOR 45 MINUTES, I'M NOT EVEN SURE HOW I GOT IT TO RESTART BUT I DID. CALLED DEALER WHERE I BOUGHT IT AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT IT FOR 3 WEEKS?..ITS A WORK TRUCK, HOW I MAKE A LIVING...OY VEY .. I HAVE IT A LOCAL SHOP NOW.

I PURCHASED NEW A 2017 WINNEBAGO TREND MOTORHOME ON A 2016 RAM PROMASTER CHASSIS. THE OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS COME IN 2 PARTS. THE LOWER MIRROR DUE TO AN ENGINEERING ERROR CAN NOT MOVE OUT FAR ENOUGH TO PERMIT A SAFE VIEW OF TRAFFIC. ESSENTIALLY IT AFFORDS MOSTLY A VIEW OF THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE. THE LOCAL DODGE AGENCY AGREES BUT UPON CONTACT OF DODGE AND WINNEBAGO NEITHER WILL FURNISH A MIRROR TO GIVE ME A SAFE VIEW. LANE*JS *JS

INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEEDOMETER. DAYTIME SPEED NUMBERS SMALL, ORANGE AND WHEN SUN IS SHINING - YOU HAVE TO GUESS WHAT SPEED YOU ARE TRAVELING - PARTICULARLY 34/40 MPH - THE NEEDLE DOESN'T SHOW UP EITHER. AT NIGHT THE LIGHT IS OK, BUT DAYTIME DRIVING IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FALLOW SPEED LIMITS WHEN YOU HAVE TO GUESS AT VEHICLE SPEED. DIGITAL DISPLAY DOESN'T GIVE SPEED. TACHOMETER HAS LARGER NUMBERS AND IS LESS SHADED. PICTURE BELOW IS SIMILAR TO MY VEHICLE, BUT IF YOU TAKE A PICTURE IN DAYLIGHT - THE NUMBERS DO NOT SHOW UP. PARTICULARLY WHEN YOU HAVE BIFOCALS!

SLIDING DOOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE UNLATCHES WHILE DRIVING .NO LOGICAL CONNECTION TO DRIVING SPEED OR BUMPY ROAD . HAPPENED TWICE WHILE DRIVING IN THE CITY AROUND 30 MPH AND ONES ON INTERSTATE AROUND 60 MPH .SERVICE DEPARTMENT DID TWO ATTEMPTS TO RECREATE THE ISSUE BY DRIVING THE CAR ABOUT 90 MILES BUT IT DIDN'T HAPPEN WHILE IN SERVICE DPT .

I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT A COMPANY VEHICLE WHICH I DRIVE - IT IS A 2017 RAM PROMASTER CITY - WHILE TALKING TO OTHER DRIVERS WE SHARE THE SAME PROBLEM. WE DON'T KNOW HOW FAST WE ARE GOING SINCE THE SPEEDOMETER IS TO DARK!!! NOBODY CARES!!!!

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16.
