While driving up snow covered inclined driveway. Truck started to spin and stopped going forward. Starting to slide backwards the engine shut off and I lost power steering and power brakes. Managed to re-start while sliding backwards but the engine shut off again resulting in a sideways crash into a tree. Thus causing $5000.00 truck damage but no bodily injury. My insurance covers damage but I am out a $500.00 deductible. The engine shutting off happened the year before but I was able to stop the slide in time. I just received a recall ("Z20/NHTSA 22-140") and I'm not sure if that problem is a cause of my incident. I did not notice any warning indications during or before the incident. I have not contacted FCA or my dealer yet.

Recall remedy not yet for three month
FCA started a recall in October of 2021 for the high-pressure fuel pump on 2020-2022 Ram 2500 trucks with the 6.7 Cummins turbo Diesel. This recall can and has been catastrophic to the fuel systems and engines. As of 3/30/2022 there still is no remedy. I am experiencing engine shutter and shaking and hard starts on a vehicle with only 24,000 miles on it which i believe is due to the failing fuel system and fuel pump. i would like to know if this recall can be expedited and the problem corrected before catastrophic failure happens.

The tow mirror blind spot is inoperable when mirrors are in the retracted position. Makes it extremely hard to tell if another vehicle is next to you. The blind spot mirror is only effective when the mirrors are placed in the tow position.

The tires have premature wearing and cracking . Tires need to be replaced The DEF tank was replaced in 2021 and once again needs to be replaced. The plug for heating er on the oil pan is defective and sparks. The radio shuts off and won’t come back on. The blind spot sensors don’t always work. Truck sometimes won’t go into park or let you shift it off
Engine compartment hood insulation liner design is deficient and is coming loose from edge closest to windshield. The design of the insulation liner has no trim pins on the back half of the liner and relies on shaped stiffening to keep it up on the hood. Vehicle is under warranty, but the Ram Service department indicated that there's currently no fix identified. They have had numerous complaints. They indicated that even one of there service technicians has the same issue. The reliance on the liner shape stiffening is insufficient and is sagging. This could become a hazard if it drops down on the engine.
I brought my Ram 2500 2020 with 35000 miles into the dealer and they need to replace all the gaskets. I had an oil leak.

On 1/21/2022 I was driving from Grand Junction CO, to my home in Broomfield CO. Halfway through the 250 mile trip, I received a warning 'Low DEF'. I looked at my DEF tank gauge as soon as I got the message - it read 1/4 tank. A couple minutes pass and another message displays - Service Diesel Exhaust System - See Dealer and my truck immediately loses power and dies when i'm in the fast lane - Eastbound I-70 to Denver. I pulled into the slow lane and finally off the side of the interstate. I did not go into limp mode, never received the countdown message '250 Miles Until Limp Mode', and the truck would not start once I was on the side of the interstate. It died just West of Vail Colorado. The weather was approx 25 degrees and snowing. I then contacted CFA Roadside Assistance, which came with my purchase. After speaking with a representative, I was told a tow truck was on the way. I was then told I needed to get a Taxi to pick me up on the interstate, because I wouldn't be allowed to ride with the tow driver to safety. The tow never came. I called CFA a second time, 4 hours later and spoke with a second representative that told me the tow had been canceled. I was never notified of the tow cancelation and was told CFA would arrange for a second tow. They never arranged a second tow, and still haven't reached out to check on my condition. I'm going to reiterate, I was left in freezing, snowing conditions in the Rocky Mountaints with no way to start my truck and no assistance from
The contact owns a 2020 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at 75 MPH, the vehicle stalled as an exhaust warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact was able to coast the vehicle off of the freeway and shut off the vehicle. Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer where they discovered that metal shavings had entered the fuel line caused by a defective high-pressure fuel pump. The vehicle remained in the possession of the dealer and the contact obtained a rental vehicle. Two months later, the contact received a recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V880000 (Fuel System, Diesel) which he linked to the failure; however, parts for the recall repair were unavailable. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure on multiple occasions but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000. The VIN was unavailable.

When I unlock my truck and enter, my odometer adds hundreds of miles to the mileage.l have a video recording of this happening and I made a few screen shots to upload in this form. It has been happening since I bought the used truck but I wasn't fast enough to record it until today. If Ram is doing this to all it's trucks, this could be as big as the Volkswagen diesel scandal. Imagine shortening the warranty mileage of all Ram vehicles to increase repair income!
The contact owns a 2020 Ram 2500. The contact stated that the Defroster/Defogger failed to work while plowing snow. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer but was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and told the contact that they were unable to assist. High pressure pump failed, while traveling, engine died and would not restart.
The trailer electrical plug located on the sidewall in the bed of the truck was not connected at the factory. I could have experienced a complete trailer braking system failing when towing my 5th wheel. Yes, vehicle was inspected by Harper Dodge in Alcoa TN, The trailer electrical plug was connected to the electrical system.
2nd visit to dodge dealership, While towing a trailer with the trailer electrical plug in use, the trailer breaks keep going out, I am driving down the road and the dash warning comes on saying the trailer breaks are disconnected. When trying to stop, at first I will not have trailer breaks, so I have to bare down on the truck brakes to stop the trailer, then the trailer brakes start working and jerks the truck back. Also, when not towing a trailer the dash warning comes on saying incompatible trailer?? No trailer is plugged in. At the dealership all day, they are telling me nothing is wrong. It is NOT the 5th wheel trailer, I spent $1,200 on new brakes, electrical and plug for trailer. It is the truck.
Summary - 2020 RAM 2500 CP4 Fuel Pump failure We departed on Saturday Oct 16, 2020, for a trip from our home in Raleigh NC to Florida for our 35th anniversary. The truck sputtered then stalled on the side of interstate 95 (southbound) in South Carolina about 60 miles from the Georgia border. We were towed to the nearest RAM dealership (Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM) in Beaufort, SC. The earliest we could get a rental was the following Wednesday (10/20) so decided to stay nearby at a local beach. We came back through on Friday to finally get our rental and returned home. Today is 11/4 and we still don't have our truck. I was told the problem was the CP4 Fuel Pump. Apparently it disintegrated (their words) and threw metal shavings all through the fuel system. They told me they had to change everything from the fuel tank all the way to the injectors. The last of the parts are supposed to be in later today, so am looking at driving the 5 hours back down to Beaufort SC this or next weekend to pick up the truck depending on when the repairs are made.
I was driving my truck on 10/26 approximately 9 am when the engine made a loud knocking noise and then proceed to make a erratic clanking noise. The truck proceeded to completely shut off while driving, rendering me unable to control the vehicle as all systems shut down. There were no warning lights present or any other warning signs. It coasted to a stop on the side of the road. The safety of myself and anyone around me was at high risk as I had no ability to control the vehicle. The vehicle only has 12,000 miles on it so I had it towed to the closest dealership, Autostar of Hendersonville NC. It took a week to get a diagnosis because their solitary diesel tech was on vacation. They offered my no loaner vehicle and FCA has not made an adequate offer to cover the full cost of a loaner vehicle. The diagnosis on the vehicle was a high pressure fuel pump failure. I currently have not ETA on parts and no vehicle to drive. It is my understanding that NHTSA is already investigating this issue. Multiple attempts made to get help with a loaner vehicle, an ETA on parts/install have all been met with deflection from dealership and FCA customer care representatives. Any attempt made to inquire if the new fuel pump/system has been adequately updated to ensure this wont happen again has not been answered. Any attempt made to inquire if this issue has cause long lasting damage to the engine has not been answered. This is a serious problem and needs to be remedied. FCA needs to step up and
On 10/23/21, I was driving my 2020 Ram 2500, Diesel Cummins Pick Up/Crew Cab LIMITED, I purchased brand new in July, 2020, my vehicle has approximately 27,000 miles, this past weekend on the freeway during my return home, the truck slowed completely, no power to the engine. I received a message one the screen "Exhaust System Service Required See Dealer." Complete loss of power for no reason. Again, because the truck had no power. I called a towing service and had the truck towed to the Dodge / Ram dealership where the truck was purchased. Later on 10/28/21, I learned that the NHTSA had opened an investigation to the Ram 2500 regarding the fuel propulsion system and the dealership said no recalls were listed on my truck. The NHTSA officially noted their investigation of the 2018-2020 Ram trucks, including this model with the 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine on their website. According the NHTSA website, on 10/29/21, there have been 18 reports of fuel / propulsion systems. Without the fuel pump, specifically the CP4 the fuel pump system, diesel engines do not function in longevity as the should. As of 10/29/21, Dodge /Ram, the dealership who sold and currently has my truck for diagnostic purposes and repairs, has yet to provide documentation as to exactly what happened to make the brand new truck stop running. They have provided minimal communication, nothing in writing. I am under the understanding that regardless, if the repair is made on my truck, this fuel pump system failur
My driver was driving 25mph when the whole dash and interior lights started flashing and the dash said electric steering was unavailable and 4wd disabled and braking disabled , the truck could not be steered or braked , my driver had to use the emergency brake to stop the truck and gooseneck trailer attached . The electrical disabled all electrical braking including trailer brakes and steering and 4wd . The transmission is also randomly doing a hard downshift into 4th gear and slamming him into the dash and will be stuck in that gear .
On 10/21/21, I was driving my 2020 Ram 2500, Diesel Cummins pick up/crew cab Big Horn purchased brand new, this year on the freeway during commute hours and the truck stopped completely, no power to the engine and without warning. Complete loss of power for no reason. I called a towing service and had the truck towed to the Dodge dealership where the truck was purchased. Again, because the truck had no power. Later in the morning of 10/21/21, I learned that the NHTSA had opened an investigation to the Ram 2500 regarding the fuel propulsion system and the dealership said no recalls were listed on my truck. On 10/14/21, the NHTSA officially noted their investigation of the 2018-2020 Ram trucks, including this model with the 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine on their website. According to an announcement by NHTSA Oct. 14, there have been 22 reports of pumps failing on the website. Without the fuel propulsion system, diesel engines don't run. As of 10/27/21, McPeek Dodge, the dealership who sold and currently has my truck for diagnostic purposes and repairs, has yet to provide documentation as to exactly what happened to make the brand new truck stop running. They have provided minimal communication, but not in writing. I am under the understanding that regardless of if the repair is made on my truck or this issue, this fuel propulsion system failure issue with Ram was first reported in 2019 and Chrysler allowed for these trucks to be sold, knowingly this potential issue still exis
I was pulling a 10k lb trailer from California to Arkansas. While passing a semi truck my vehicle lost engine power and left me without power steering or brakes. I was luckily able to make it to the right shoulder, vehicle would not start. Dealership found the Bosch CP4 injection pump to have failed at 15,000 miles. I am lucky to have been traveling in an area of Texas where I did not have too much traffic or this even could have been much worse.
My vehicle stopped in the middle of the road and it did not turn on again. This was on Saturday, October 16th. at this moment it is still in the dealership without being repaired yet.
In November 2020 the high pressure fuel injection pump failed on my truck while crossing a four lane intersection. The pumpwas confirmed failed by dealership service shop. Had a check engine light and service exhaust system warning just before engine shutdown and truck was disabled in middle of intersection.
We were traveling SE on I-30, in the passing lane, doing approximately 75 MPH when the vehicle started shuttering. It was subtle at first, then became more violent. The engine lost power and we had to do an emergency lane change with no engine power, no power steering, no power brakes. We then coasted to the shoulder with traffic passing us and behind us speeding by. Luckily we were near an exit and we barely had enough momentum to get away from traffic. We were lucky to change lanes and exit without getting into a collision with other traffic because we went from highway speed to slow very quickly and had to change lanes and exit. It was the high pressure CP4.2 fuel pump failure the dealer eventually informed us. They also said this is a common problem and they had several other failures just like this.
Fuel pump is not good and is a safety issue that can lead to complete engine failure and possibly a crash.
I was driving on the freeway when the truck suddenly began surging the throttle. I began to make my way to the shoulder. By the time I was in the shoulder the truck lost all power. I came to a stop and the engine began shuddering and bogging down before I was able to safely shut it off. Fortunately traffic was light and I didn’t have a trailer, this could have been very dangerous had I needed to accelerate and lost all power to the truck. Dealer diagnosed with a failed CP4 injection pump, a know issue for this model year.
Vehicle has 26,689 mile and after driving for 30 minutes slowed came to a complete stop due to on coming traffic to make a left turn. Went down the road and the Transmission ( Auto) did not seem like it went in to 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 gear. The tach was over 3,000 RPMs and I let off the gas and pressed down again and tach went up again and transmission never shift to higher gear. Lucky that was my street and I tried to get it to shift by gas peddle up and down and it never went higher gear and I took tach up to 5,500 RPMs plus and it never tried to get out of third gear I guess.
RADIO AND DASHBOARD WILL NOT TURN ON WHEN I START THE TRUCK. THEY ARE COMPLETELY BLACK AWFUL SCREECHING NOISE RANDOMLY FROM UNDER THE HOOD
I WAS TRAVELING AND AROUND 655 MILES FROM HOME. MY TRUCK WAS IDLEING AND STARTED MAKING A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE. I TURNED IT OFF AND THEN IT WOULDN'T START AGAIN. I CALLED CHRYSLER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND HAD IT TOWED TO THE NEAREST DEALER, BLUEBONNET CHRYSLER DODGE AND RAM. AFTER MY VEHICLE SAT THERE FOR 4 DAYS, THEY FINALLY LOOKED AT IT AND DETERMINED THAT MY CP4 FUEL INJECTOR PUMP HAD FAILED. IT IS ALL COVERED BY WARRANTY, BUT NOW I'M 655 MILES FROM MY TRUCK WITH NOTHING TO DRIVE.
TRUCK DIED IN TRAFFIC. LOST ALL POWER STEERING, BRAKES, ETC. ALMOST CAUSED A MULTIPLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT, AND LEFT ME STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC UNTIL I COULD GET ASSISTANCE TO MOVE. THERE WAS NO WARNING OR NOTICE BEFORE THE TRUCK JUST QUIT WORKING. A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AFTER THE TRUCK DIED AND STATED "EXHAUST SYSTEM FAILURE. SEE DEALER IMMEDIATELY".
WINDSHIELD BROKE . NOTHING HIT IT. I TURNED THE DEFROST ON AND IT JUST STARTED CRACKING. TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING DEF PUMP WENT OUT HUB CAPS KEEP FLYING OFF
WHILE COMING TO A STOP I LOST COMPLETE POWER STEERING AND WAS BARELY ABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL TO MOVE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. NO MESSAGES, LIGHTS OR CODES CAME UP ON THE DASH. TRUCK ONLY HAS 4,900 MILES ON IT AND WAS FULL ON POWER STEERING FLUID. AFTER CHECKING EVERYTHING I ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHEN THE RPM'S ROSE THE POWER STEERING WORKED NORMAL. WHEN I APPROACHED THE NEXT STOP AND LET MY FOOT OFF THE GAS AND THE RPM'S LOWERED, I LOST POWER STEERING AGAIN AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, LEAVING ME UNABLE TO STEER.

FCA SWITCHED FROM PROVEN CP3 FUEL PUMP TO A CP4.2 FOR MODEL YEARS 2019 AND 2020. THEY HAVE NOW SWITCHED BACK TO CP3 FOR 2021 DUE TO NUMBER OF FAILURES. WHEN IT FAILS IT TAKES OUT THE ENTIRE FUEL SYSTEM AND IT COST 10K FOR REPAIR. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY SHOULD RECALL THE FUEL PUMPS ON THE 2019/2020 RAM 2500 MODELS. IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.
LOSING POWER WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. LOSING POWER WHEN PUSHING ON GAS PEDAL. MAKES AWFUL NOISE WHEN STARTING. ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE A BAD STARTER
'POWER STEERING UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED' MESSAGE APPEARED ON INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AT 4,596 MILES. POWER STEERING FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING IN LIGHT CITY TRAFFIC AND STOPPED AT AN INTERSECTION. THE VEHICLE IS DIFFICULT TO CONTROL WITHOUT POWER STEERING ASSIST. POWERING CAR OFF AND ON DID NOT CLEAR THE ERROR. NOR DID DISCONNECTING/RECONNECTING BATTERY TERMINALS. VEHICLE SAT OVERNIGHT IN GARAGE AND POWER STEERING FUNCTION SEEMED TO RETURN THE FOLLOWING DAY, ONLY TO FAIL AGAIN AFTER 15-20 MINS OF LIGHT STREET DRIVING.
THE 2019 TO 2020 MODEL YEAR RAM 2500 HEAVY DUTY EQUIPPED WITH A 6.7L CUMMINS DIESEL ENGINE HAS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE THAT COULD CAUSE A STALL AND INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH. THE BOSCH CP4.2 FUEL INJECTION PUMP HAS A VERY HIGH RATE OF SUDDEN FAILURE LEADING TO IMMEDIATE STOPPAGE ON THE ENGINE AND ENGINE BRAKING SYSTEM. THE PUMP DESTROYS ITSELF AND TAKES OUT THE REST OF THE ENTIRE FUEL SYSTEM LEADING TO REPAIRS IN THE $20,000 USD RANGE. FCA & RAM HAVE ATTEMPTED TO REVISE THE PUMP IN LATE (JULY) 2020 TO SOLVE THE ISSUE BUT THE FAILURES KEEP OCCURRING. FOR THE 2021 MODEL YEAR, FCA & RAM HAVE CHANGED THE PUMP ENTIRELY AND REVERTED BACK TO USING AN OLDER, SAFER, MORE RELIABLE DESIGN. NO PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS OF NEITHER THE PUMP REVISION IN 2020, NOR THE PUMP CHANGE IN 2021 HAVE BEEN MADE. TPMS SYSTEM UNAVAILABLE. MULTIPLE SENSORS INSTALLED FROM RAM AND 3RD PARTY TIRE/WHEEL STORES. SYSTEM HAS BEEN MOSTLY UNAVAILABLE FOR 6 MONTHS. REPORTED TO VEHICLE MANUFACTURER AND THE ISSUE HAS BEEN UNRESOLVED. THE SYSTEM IS UNAVAILABLE AT VEHICLE START-UP AND WHILE IN MOTION ON ANY ROAD.
THIS IS THE WORST TRUCK I'VE EVER PURCHASED, A SIMPLE FIX NEEDED TO THE PULLEY TENSIONER AND THE CLUTCH FAN IS NEEDED..BEEN TO DEALER TWICE GOING A 3RD TIME . THE FUEL PUMP CP4 IS A DANGER TO DRIVERS AND PEDESTRIANS AS THESE TRUCKS ARE MEANT FOR PULLING HEAVY LOADS AND MOSTLY ON INTERSTATES WHICH MAKES IT A DANGER. THE CP3 IS NEEDED BACK IN THE TRUCKS AS THERE IS A HORRIBLE FUEL PUMP CHATTER AT THIS POINT AND AN IMINANT FAILURE IS COMING SOON. ALSO THE TRUCK ROLLS IN PARK LIKE 5 FEET FOR NO REASON WHILE OFF IN PARK
ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2020, PURCHASED A VEHICLE AND TRADED IN A 2013 CHEV. ON 09/27 WE WERE DRIVING HOME ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, THE VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 900 MILES.. ON 09/28 VEHICLE TAKEN TO THE NEAREST DEALERSHIP( NOT PURCHASED FROM) IN WHICH NO ONE WOULD PAY TO HAVE TOWED. IT TOOK A WEEK TO BE TOLD A NEW TRANSMISSION WAS NEEDED. WAS GIVEN A RUN AROUND ON THE TIMEFRAME FOR REPAIR. CHRYSLER AND DEALERSHIP DECIDED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE TRUCK WAS PURCHASED. PROMISED TO HAVE A TRANSMISSION ON 10/14. CHRYSLER CALLED SEVERAL DAYS LATER AND STATED A TRANSMISSION WOULD BE EXPEDITED AND SHOULD ARRIVE ON 10/19. NO TRANSMISSION SHOWED UP. CHRYSLER STATED A 2ND TRANSMISSION WAS SHIPPED AND ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP ON 11/28. THE TRUCK WAS RETURNED TO US ON 10/30. ON 11/07 WE WERE STOPPED AT A DRIVE-THRU, TRIED TO PUT THE TRUCK INTO DRIVE. WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO DRIVE. FINALLY SHIFTED BUT MADE A GRINDING SOUND THROUGH ALL GEARS. RETURNED VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP ON 11/10 DUE TO WINTER STORM AND WAS INFORMED ON 11/13 ANOTHER TRANSMISSION IS NEEDED. I HAVE BEEN TREATED VERY POORLY IN THIS SITUATION AND THIS HAS COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS DUE TO MY BUSINESS AND NOT HAVING A TRUCK. NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE OR WILL HELP JUST BEING TOLD THESE THINGS TAKE TIME. VERY UNACCEPTABLE. REPEATEDLY TOLD MY VEHICLE IS NOT PART OF A RECALL BUT ON THE SERVICE PAPERWORK FOR THE 1ST TRANSMISSION, IT LISTS THE CAUSE AS RECALL.
2020 RAM 2500 PURCHASED BRAND NEW. I ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS FROM FORUMS AND OTHER GROUPS ARE HAVING A ISSUE WITH THE REMOTE/REMOTE START. THE REMOTE START WORKS FINE, BUT ONCE THE TRUCK IS REMOTE STARTED AND RUNNING AND YOU ATTEMPT TO UNLOCK THE VEHICLE TO ENTER, IT WON'T UNLOCK. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAVE ACTUALLY HAD TO USE THE PHYSICAL KEY TO OPEN THE TRUCK WHEN IT IS REMOTE STARTED. I HAVE TRIED BOTH REMOTES AND IT HAS THE SAME ISSUE SO IT CAN'T BE THE REMOTES. SOMETIMES YOU CAN HOLD THE UNLOCK BUTTON DOWN FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS AND IT UNLOCKS MOST OF THE TIME IT DOESN'T.
WE WERE JUST LEAVING THE DESERT AFTER A WEEKEND TRIP WHEN THERE WAS A WEIRD NOISE FROM THE ENGINE AREA. AS I OPENED THE HOOD AND THE TRUCK DIED AND NEVER STARTED BACK UP. THE TRUCK WAS TOWED TO LOCAL DEALER WHICH IS 350 MILES FROM HOME WERE IT SAT FOR 7 DAYS UNTIL WE COULD MAKE IT BACK OUT THERE. MY TRAILER WAS ALSO TOWED AND I HAD TO USE A FRIENDS TRUCK TO GET IT. THEN STOPPED BY THE DEALER TO FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON. FUEL SYSTEM SHOT. 15,838 FOR REPAIR. NOW MY TRUCK IS A 2020 RAM 2500. PURCHASED IN AUGUST 2020. 4,900 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. HAVEN'T EVEN HAD MY FIRST OIL CHANGE YET. DEALERSHIP SAID THEY FOUND RED DYE DIESEL IN THE SYSTEM SO FCA DOES NOT WANT TO COVER THE CHARGES. I HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON THIS AND HAVE FOUND NOTHING HARMFUL ABOUT RED DIESEL. SO UNLESS THEY CHANGE THEIR MIND IT LOOKS LIKE A LAWYER IS NEXT.
ONE WEEK AFTER DRIVING OFF DEALERS LOT THE BACK WHEEL PRESSURE SENSOR WENT BAD, NOW ONE WEEK AFTER REPLACING THAT REAR PASSENGER SIDE SENSOR THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL SENSOR NOW HAS GONE BAD! I HAVE TO TEST AIR PRESSURE DAILY DUE TO NO SENSOR. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION EACH TIME SENSOR WENT BAD.*DT*JB*DT *TR

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
