The digital speedometer display stopped working, so no speed is displayed in the cluster while driving. When the vehicle is started the display never turns on so you can't see speed, odometer or any safety warnings.

Passenger exhaust manifold is leaking fumes into the cab. The leak started in January of 2024 as a slight ticking and has become worse. The truck has 47k miles.

Vehicle has 23,400 miles. When filling fuel tank, pump shuts off quickly without filling tank and spills gas back out. Dealer say valve in tank is problem and need to replace tank at cost of $3k. No check engine warning lights on dash.

I own a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie quad cab 4x2. In two different instances while accelerating from a stop or near stop the transmission dropped completely out of gear. The message "Return shifter to park(P) then shift to desired gear" has come up. On one of those occasions I was pulling out onto a main road. Luckily for me there was no traffic at that moment as I made it into the lane before the transmission dropped out. My truck just rolled 80K miles. This is a major life safety issue and has taken away my confidence in my vehicle.

In 2023 i replaced the electric power steering box after it seized up while I was driving. I have seen several recalls on this issue for every other year but 2019. The exact same issue exists in my truck. I spent $3500 to replace what should be a recall based on every other recall for this electric power steering that has occurred. The wheel locked in place and prevented me from even moving it from where it was. I was stranded in the middle of Tennessee on a road trip, while living in Arizona. Car went in limp mode then in full lock down. ABS control module failed After research a very common issue. Hundreds of Ram vehicles affected. Just escaped being hit as the truck went in limp mode. After Gear selector locked car in park, I was in the middle of the road with cars approaching. Had to stand behind the vehicle and wave, so no one would crash into me. Chrysler/ Dodge/Ram is aware of this issue. They are also not releasing ABS modules, due to being under engineer review, meaning they are unable to provide a safe part. Many trucks with super low mileage, and mine has 40K. I would feel very uncomfortable to go on a road trip, if it will ever get fixed. While driving at low speed in city street, the Sterring wheel became very hard, and error display showed failure, stoped at red ligth and turned truck of on, problema got worse, was not able to drive, with many errors called dealership as I was 2 blocks away, came and helped take truck to dealership and after eview they stated that the issue was battery and all programing lost. 2 months after problem happen again this time only the steering became hard, problem was on off for a pair of days, taken to deaershipl and they advised that the issue was the Pinon and rack assembly(gear) but stated that warranty was out, I find this irresponsible as there was a recall for same year but limited to 200 cars, recall 19V 812, the problem I have is the same, this is a risk since you lose direction control.with out any warning, Dodge should be responsible for this and actually assure that they have fixed the issue with this component, I do not feel secure and repair has a very high cost about 4k dolars

TRUCK WAS AT THE SHOP FOR A REPAIR, UPON THE TECHNICIAN DRIVING THE TRUCK WHEN HE TURNED INTO A PARKING LOT THE WHOLE TRUCK SHUT OFF, TOW TRUCK HAD TO BRING IT BACK TO THE SHOP, THIS IS A PROBLEM IN THIS TRUCK BUT THE VIN DOESNT HAVE RECALL ALTHOUGH 15 EPS SERIAL #'S ARE INCLUDED IN A POWER STEERING RECALL.

The power steering spontaneously failed today, 4/2/2024, without any warning. I then received a message, "power steering unavailable service required" and the corresponding warning light illuminated. I have called the dealership and explained the issue, but they have not returned my call. I later started the vehicle and everything "appeared" normal. After attempting to drive again, after a short way the power steering failed again. It becomes extremely difficult to turn the steering wheel when this happens. The spontaneous nature and lack of warning of this critical driving component has a high likelihood of causing an accident. It is impossible to properly maneuver the truck in this state. It takes great strength to even maneuver the steering wheel a small amount without the power steering. This can be detrimental if it occurs under the wrong circumstances. My truck is extremely well maintained and serviced regularly. I only have 41k miles on the vehicle.

There is a ticking noise I hear when the truck is first started and it is very obvious until the engine warms up and then it is less noticeable. I also noticed a decrease in fuel mileage. I had a mechanic look at it and he told me that the right side exhaust manifold was cracked. I ordered the right side manifold and new bolts and had the mechanic install them for me. Once it was installed when we started the truck the noise was still present but not as loud. I had him look at it again thinking that maybe the install was not done correctly and he said the left one was cracked as well. He showed me the crack. I got online and tried to order the left manifold but it was backordered. I told him that I couldn't find one and that I was on a waitlist at one of the dealerships for it. He told me I needed to try to get it ordered as soon as possible because further cracking could cause issues in the engine and cause a catastrophic event and ruin the engine. A year and a half later there are still no parts available. Upon further investigation I have found that this is a common event for these engines and has been for a very long time. The reason the parts are on backorder is because it is happening to most of the trucks with these engines. Also there is not a replacement part that fixes this issue so there are lots of posts online about it happening a second time after replacing the cracked manifold. The only alternative is to change the OEM manifolds out for shorty headers, which is

The rear backlite leaks causing water to drip into the rear of the vehicle from the back of the cab or the headliner. The water leak caused the RF module to short out. This caused the vehicle to unexpectedly turn off while driving in the middle of the road. Luckily this happened in the evening hours on a suburban road, but it is a MAJOR safety risk should this occur on a highway. The Dealer has confirmed the leak and the shorted out RF module. Prior to the vehicle stopping in the middle of the road, the vehicle cycled through Off, ACC, and Run and the vehicle would not turn off when I tried to park it earlier the same day.

Oil Pan is Rusting and thin. Oil Pan gasket leaking warranty will not cover parts/labor. Oil pan holds vital lubrication for engine operation. Read tailgate handle does not operate properly. Must push closed to keep rear tailgate door from opening when vehicle is in motion

This truck has a serious safety issue that FCA is ignoring. The exhaust manifolds/bolts are faulty and leak exhaust gas into the cabin of the vehicle causing all passengers to be subjected to high levels of carbon monoxide and exhaust gases. This poses a serious safety hazard for bother drivers and passengers of all vehicles on the road. The company has been aware of the exhaust manifold issue affecting Ram trucks for years yet when this truck experienced a known problem the consumer (me) is still burdened with paying over 900 per side to get each manifold repaired and replaced. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially when both sides just fail like my truck did at the same time. I can’t sell it it’s not safe to drive. I can’t afford to fix it and it ain’t worth anything to trade in due to this known issue. Please help!!

I was in a car accident going over 25 plus miles an hour and non of my airbags deployed in my truck. I had to get my neck reconstructed because it broke. I believe if airbags would deployed it could of helped with less injuries.

This has happened twice now in the 3 months that I have owned the truck. I was driving at the speed limit, 55 mph, went down a hill and as I started to come back up the hill the gas pedal went to the floor and the rpms topped out at 4000, I shifted to neutral and managed to get into a driveway. I turned the truck off and back on 3 times and it immediately idled at 4000 rpms, in drive, neutral, reverse and park. This was on a curvy two lane highway and could have resulted in a very bad crash. The truck is currently at a shop. The floor mat was not stuck

This truck as well as multiple others I have seen complaints on multiple dodge ram forums where something is causing the battery to die then the stability control light comes on and the the truck will not change gears until the battery is completely disconnected to "reset" the computer and then it's like the battery never died. It works great with no issues for months then out of nowhere the exact same issue happens once again. We have spent thousands of dollars fixing this issue to no avail just keep replacing parts that apparently aren't the fix. So far we have replaced the torque converter, the battery as well as paying for multiple diagnostics to which they keep replacing the battery saying that is the issue but obviously it can't be the battery when it's getting replaced over and over SOMETHING is causing this draw making the battery die. I just bought my 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel mileage with 47,832 miles. My truck was stuck in park and it took me several minutes shutting my truck on and off and messing with the knob changing gears before I was finally able to get my truck in gear. Fast forward three days now I am getting a warning light to "service shifter". In doing research trying to find more information I have discovered several Ram truck owners are or have experienced the same issue. This is a safety issue for many reasons. As a female I am worried about getting stuck somewhere and being put in a unsafe situation. From all the complaints I read on line I feel strongly that this needs to be looked into.

I have a 2019 Dodge Ram Rebel I have owned since new. Two months after I got it it had the tick. I have noticed every dodge ram on the road has this tick I mean every ram. I have always bought dodge since I have purchased vehicles. Is the anything that you can do for me on this issue there is fumes coming in the cab of the truck and it’s unsafe since there is a problem with all vehicles in the brand. I’m hoping so because this is starting to turn a lot of heads and people do get an upset stomach because of the noises and this is not what a 80,000 dollar vehicle should have happen.

A properly secured/closed tailgate popped open causing damage to the tailgate and trailer.

Failure of electric power steering

The location of the shifter knob, in close proximity to the fan control knob, poses a danger while driving the vehicle. I was driving at 70mph on the freeway and went to turn down the fan when I accidentally turned the shifter and the truck went into neutral. As a result, I was nearly rear-ended as I wasn’t able to accelerate.

This incident has happened several times. As I back out of my garage, the brakes are violently slammed on and the truck bounces on the springs. It's stops so fast, it alarms me and my passangers. When it brakes, it also makes a loud long screeching noise. There is a TSB out for this issue: 08-076-18. As I back out of the garage, there is no obstacles in the path, I do hear the normal beeping noises as my garage has about 8 to 12 inches clearance on each side of the mirror. I feel like this shouldn't be a TSB, it should be a recall as this could be a safety issue.

Original owner of this Ram 1500, dealer bought. Around 60600 miles discovered rear passenger seat belt NOT attached or anchored to vehicle, under seat. . Did not appear to have ever been attached. Not bent or disfigured or worn as if torn off of anchor.

8.4in Uconnect Screen Delaminated causing there to be a bubble behind touch screen and glue is leaking down to the bottom of the console. Screen now twitches and is unresponsive in the top corners

I am reporting a safety issue that is not associated with my vehicle, rather it is in regards to many vehicles on the road with LED headlamps. These lights are blinding and most definitely a safety concern. Why are car manufacturers allowed to install these type of lights?

Gauge cluster stopped working, no speedometer, mileage, turn signal indicators etc. all black. Extreme safety risk. 4WD will not engage, possibly associated.

While driving at low speeds and turning normally left or right the dashboard flashes and makes a noise with the statement "power steering unavailable service required." Once the turn is stopped it goes back to normal but happens every time I make a turn. Steering locks up.

The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was unknown.

Vehicle makes a grinding noise every other start. I believe this si the rack and pinio might be failing. An even louder grinding noise when making a right turn. Showing sign of a defective Rack & Pinion with shake ride again at high speeds on the highway not constant lately but higher frequency has accured. I noticed there's a recall for the rack & Pinion but it shows that my vehicle is not affected. Please add my vehicle to that recall and or further investigate

Leak in third brake like that and/or from rear vents. MANY other complaints online of same issue. Allowing water in causes mold and possible breathing issues.

Rear Window seal and Fin on top of roof failed causing large amounts of water to enter the car cabin flooding the floor around electrical components under passenger seat area and elsewhere,Floor was sopping wet many times before I found out there was a rear window problem.I fear since I live in tropical Florida Mold may be growing under my carpet ,plus we had a bad smell like nasty old cigars in the cabin when we get in ,No one smokes in my family..I took it to the dealer for repair who stated yes we know about it ,it is a common problem and we can fix it but it is not covered under warranty,I paid $183.84 to have the dealer repair my leaks as I was concerned about a fire from electrical wires shorting out.After they fixed it there repair causes water to flow from the dirty roof down the back of my rear tinted window causing me a loss of visibility out my rear window unless i climb in the back of my truck bed and clean my rear window regularly. Which is very hard for a [XXX] man who has had a spinal fusion to do .Because this repair they made fills in the water channel that moves the water to the sides of the windows and off the truck sides ,it now flows like niagara falls over the back of my window from the top of the roof causing a constant dirty window that blocks my vision on a tinted window worse than a normal window and is a safety hazard .The window was designed to channel the water to the sides to prevent that problem and keep the window clean and clear. it is very ir

The 4wd has never worked in my 2019 Ram 1500. I bought the truck in November of the same year, I tried to engage the 4wd with the snow that year and it would not engage. Notification showed service 4wd, I took it to a ram dealer in South Carolina where I worked out of town they had it for two days and they informed me they didn't know what was wrong with it. I then took it to the dealer at home they kept it overnight and installed a new actuator. It engaged the first time and then back to service 4wd. This time was different it stayed in neutral, I turned the emergency brake on and turned the truck off. The dial tried to return to park but couldn't so with the truck off and Ebrake applied I had to have a tow service pick it up and take to the dealer. I then scheduled an appointment with the dealer I purchased it from and they said they updated the software and it was working. I tried to engage the 4wd in the parking lot and it still showed service light. They kept the truck for two days and said a gear in the transfer case was bad and I had to pay $1,000 to fix it. But the same year truck has a recall for the same issue I'm having. I declined the service due to an active recall. About a week later the power steering wasn't working right. When I was doing highway speed and would turn left it was like I had to fight it back into the lane, but only while turning left. Lifter and camshaft failure, Spark plug and coil issues.

The contact stated that the vehicle had seized in the middle of the road. The contact was able to safely get the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed rear suspension and a failed rear differential axle and that the rear suspension and rear differential axle needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear suspension axle seized again. The contact was able to move the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed with a failed rear differential axle and failed rear suspension, and it was determined that the rear differential axle and rear suspension needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle had been at the dealer for six months and the vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000.

The 8.4in screen made by Stellantis delaminating is a common issue for them and they refuse to put a recall out for it. Some screens including mine are delaminating to where it’s difficult to see the backup camera in the day time, making it a safety issue. It also makes the screen harder to read, causing more attention to be focused on the screen rather than the road.
