Risk. A detached spoiler may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may state an incorrect weight value. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars.”
Risk. Incorrect weight information can allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect. Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The hydronic heating system wiring may be incorrectly connected to constant 12V power, which can cause the hydronic heating system to unintentionally activate.
Risk. Unintended activation of the hydronic heating system can produce harmful gas, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy. Dealers will repair the wiring, and disconnect the hydronic heating system from constant 12V power, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 20, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 626 RSB.
Defect. Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.
Risk. A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy. Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 622 RSB.
