TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 MERCEDES BENZ CLK. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE CONTACT DROVE OVER A POT HOLE AND WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A BODY REPAIR SHOP. THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER AND THE TECHNICIAN INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND ADVISED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE LOWER CONTROL ARM WAS SEVERALLY CORRODED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT PROVIDE ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE YEAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000.
