Defect. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Lexus NX350, NX250, 2023-2026 RX350, and 2024-2026 TX350 vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the rearview camera software or replace the rearview camera, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 26LB02 and 26LA02.

Defect. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may cause the rearview camera to freeze or display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB13 and 25LB06. Subaru's number for this recall is WRE25.

Defect. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid, Lexus NX250, NX350, NX350 Hybrid, 2024-2025 Lexus RX350, RX350 Hybrid, and RX500 Hybrid vehicles. The second-row center seat belt webbing may be damaged. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

Risk. A damaged seat belt may not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect the seat belt webbing and replace the seat belt assembly if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 20, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TA03 and 25LA03.

Defect. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 Lexus RX 350, RX 350h, 2024-2025 NX 250, NX 350, and NX 350h vehicles. The head restraints on the driver and front passenger seats may be inadvertently removed without pressing the lock release button. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 202, "Head Restraints."

Risk. A head restraint that is inadvertently removed and not reinstalled can increase the risk of injury during a rear-end crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the driver and front passenger seat head rest assemblies, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 14, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24LB06 and 24LA06.

On October 16, 2026, the panoramic sunroof glass on my 2024 Lexus RX 500h shattered without any impact. The vehicle had about 78,000 miles. I was driving at roughly 70 mph on a highway when the glass burst with a loud bang. The glass blew upward and outward, not inward, and there was no road debris, no overhead object and no sign of anything striking the roof. No impact point or chip is visible on the remaining glass. No one was injured. The vehicle was out of the 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty. The Lexus dealer inspected it and is replacing the sunroof assembly. I am filing because the failure happened with no external cause and matches other reports of sunroof glass shattering on this model.

My 2024 Lexus RX 500h experiences an intermittent failure to respond when I press the accelerator pedal. During these episodes, pressing the pedal does not produce the expected acceleration, making the vehicle’s response unpredictable. Lexus service bulletin L-SB-0026-25 was performed on my vehicle to address the issue. However, the accelerator nonresponse continues after that repair. The issue remains unresolved. I am concerned that an unexpected inability to accelerate could leave my vehicle exposed to approaching traffic when entering a roadway or crossing an intersection. This is a safety concern because I cannot reliably count on the vehicle to accelerate when needed. I request that NHTSA review this recurring loss of accelerator response, including cases where the condition persists after the software update. The underlying cause of my vehicle’s continued problem has not been established.

Dangerous Vehicle Failure on Highway XXX —XXX On the morning of XXX, at approximately 9:00 a.m., I drove the vehicle from [XXX] to the [XXX]. It was raining during Hurricane ISAIAS, and traffic stopped because of an accident approximately 2,000 meters ahead. After waiting in traffic and rain for approximately 15 minutes, my vehicle suddenly displayed multiple warning messages, including hybrid-system and shift-system warnings. Within seconds, the vehicle became inoperable. My vehicle was left stranded in the middle of Highway 141 as traffic began moving again. Vehicles behind and beside me honked, and I was frightened because I could not restart the car or move it out of the traffic lane. Also, the vehicle's Lexus SOS function is not working that I try. I called the dealership's service department, but after being transferred to roadside assistance, I couldn't get help. I subsequently contacted [XXX] for help. An officer arrived on site and helped move the vehicle to the roadside in the storm. I continued trying to restart the vehicle. After approximately 10 minutes of repeated attempts, it finally started and became drivable again. I was advised by the officer that I could drive home or take it to a repair facility. Given the seriousness of the incident and the vehicle's history, I drove directly back to the Lexus dealership. This incident was extremely frightening. Cruise control engaged and going 70mph. Brakes engaged and brake light came on in dash indication crash braking. Brakes slammed on and car decelerates to 5 mph before getting operating control back. No cars within 200 ft no road obstacles. Acceleration did not respond and unable to gain control and prevent danger problem.

A 2024 Lexus RX 350 H 12 volt battery is discharging leaving owners stranded. AAA must be called to jump the battery. This has happened four times, each when opening car doors to clean the vehicle. From my understanding the battery discharges within 5 minutes leaving the auxiliary system without power and the inability to start the car. Not exactly sure what is causing the battery drain but vehicle becomes unable to move, open doors or move since drive train will not allow any movement. Owners have been stranded four times waiting on help. Dealer unsure of problem but exploring electrical issues, battery issues, software issues or unknown issues.

I have tried to get Stevenson Lexus in Lakewood Colorado to replace the head rests , they have not ever had the parts to complete the recall. I have been waiting for over a year. I called Lexus headquarters in Texas and was told that there is a remedy but Stevenson Lexus has never offered that to me.

While on a long road trip on a hot day, on the interstate, the car suddenly lost speed and would not accelerate. It was like the car had shifted into neutral. I was coasting on the interstate, steadily slowing, and was forced to pull over to the shoulder. I turned the car off and waited a couple of minutes then turned the car back on. No error messages were displaying at that time. About 5-10 minutes later, I pulled over for a planned stop. My husband assumed driving responsibilities when we got back into the car. Upon trying to get back on the interstate, the car would not accelerate, and multiple errors error messages appeared, including: ""System Malfunction/Visit Your Dealer," "Check Engine/Visit Your Dealer," "Drive-Start Control Malfunction/Visit Your Dealer," "Secondary Collision Brake System Malfunction/Visit Your Dealer," and "Traction Control Turned Off." He pulled into a nearby parking lot where we had to have the car towed to the dealership. It felt like the car was in neutral when this happened both times.

The sunroof exploded spontaneously while driving on major road at 65 MPH, nothing hit it and no other vehicle around. No abnormal weather conditions. No warning just a burst into air. Remaining glass fell into vehicle when I opened shade.

When in cruise, the car will merge itself into the next lane if you hold the turn signal partially. If you keep holding it or fully engage the turn signal (maybe you forgot to turn off you signal, or held it too long), the car will merge through the solid white line off the road into a ditch. This happened to me once, and I noticed it trying several other times.

Additionally, the door latches locked independently, and the contact and wife were locked inside the vehicle for several hours. The contact eventually remembered to pull the mechanical door latch and exited the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with battery failure. The contact was informed that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 17,500.

The contact owned a 2024 Lexus RX 350H. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and running, it unexpectedly turned off with the electronic malfunction error message displayed. The vehicle could not able to be restarted, and the contact was unable exit the vehicle due to the failure of the power locks. Roadside Assistance assisted with removing the contact from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with battery failure. The contact was informed that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and remained with the dealer. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer attempted to return the vehicle back to the residence. The contact was concerned about the issues with the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,624.

I was stopped at a red light with brake on, my vehicle leaped forward on its own three times, with the brake on, the force was so strong I thought someone rear-ended me. No warning lights, the acceleration was load.

I am reporting a recurring electrical and mechanical system failure on a 2024 Lexus RX 350h Luxury. On [XXX], the vehicle suffered a total power loss that rendered the electronic door latches unresponsive to all inputs. Because the occupants were a [XXX] and a [XXX] strapped into car seats, they were physically unable to reach the interior manual overrides. Critically, the mechanical backup key also failed to unlock the vehicle from the exterior, preventing immediate rescue. This created a life-threatening entrapment scenario. The doors only responded after multiple minutes of repeated manual attempts. Once entry was gained, the vehicle would not start and the headlights began blinking rapidly, indicating a total system communication failure. I had to use jumper cables to restore power. This is the second occurrence of this catastrophic failure, documented on Repair Order [XXX] at Lexus of Westminster. On Feb. 10th 2026 I was driving north I405 (Los Angeles). The car suddenly applied emergency breaks in the middle of the freeway, while there was no car in front of me, at least for 100m. I was lucky that the car behind me didn't hit me. It could be a serious multi-car collision.

My 2024 Lexus RX 350h experienced a catastrophic 12V battery collapse (2.00V), disabling the electronic 'e-Latch' door system and rendering interior handles non-functional for standard use. While a manual override exists, it is not intuitive for emergency egress. Additionally, the electronic parking brake and shift-by-wire systems remained physically locked, preventing the vehicle from being moved to a safe location during the power failure. I am reporting this as a failure of primary safety and fail-safe protocols. Dealer did not consider this a a problem because he said I “needed to read the manual before I ever drove the car”

The rear backup camera does not work when put into reverse

When coming from a stop, the car will not respond to the gas pedal being engaged OR it will begin to engage and then no response leaving the car rolling for a few seconds until a response is recieved and the car engages again. This has caused us to be put in harms way MANY times with oncoming traffic when making turns or in front of oncoming traffic in intersections. The dealer states this is not a known issue however it is all over the internet that hundreds of reports of this issue have been made. The dealer states no fix since they don't "have a problem". MAJOR safety issue. We have reported this many times to Lexus now with no resolve or help from them.

When accelerating at slow speed, the engine or turbo turns off which causes the nose of the car to take a hard nose dive and then turns back on within 1 second but results in a big loud sound coming from engine/transmission. This issue almost caused on accident because it does a hard engine break where I was almost rear ended but from other drivers perspective, it might seem that I’m break checking them. Showed car to Lexus but they said it is normal but it not normal and should be investigated as it can cause harm to everyone involved if accident were to occur. Situation occurred 3 times this week and it is entirely random and can’t replicate at will.

I went to reverse the car. Suddenly, the car's automatic emergency breaking system engaged. This occurred on 2 separate occasions. The first time, was in a parking lot during a sunny day. There was definitely nothing behind me, not even a person, but the camera saw a leaf or something small, and engaged the automatic emergency brake. The second time, it was raining in the evening, the sky was dark. I went to reverse (to complete a u-turn in an empty lot). Suddenly the automatic emergency braking engaged. In both instances, if I was reversing (as part of a u-turn on a busy street, this would have been very dangerous. Please investigate this. It was very scary.

The car started showing multiple error messages on the dash and then shut off while in operation, it would not restart without a service call and battery boost. This has happened multiple times. Online research shows this is a common issue with the hybrid models - the 12v battery doesn't get adequately charged, voltage drops and car ceases to work - even while mid drive on the road, this is extremely scary and dangerous.

Battery has "sulfated" twice in 15 months of ownership. Lexus/dealer have replaced battery two times. Considered safety issue since battery could "die" at any time. Could be locked out of car with infant inside or if battery dies while driving, car could become immobile.

The contact owns a 2024 Lexus RX. The contact stated that while idle at a red stoplight, the entire vehicle began to violently jerk back and forth. No warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed with a software malfunction, and the failure was replicated. The vehicle was repaired. Medical attention was sought for severe depression, anxiety, PTSD, memory loss, concussion, head, neck, and back injuries. No police report was filed. In addition, the contact stated that after the injuries, she was no longer able to work or drive. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,790.

The moonroof spontaneously shattered while driving on the freeway at night. This limit the speed to less than 20 mph since the moonroof continued to shatter at a higher speed.

The contact owns a 2024 Lexus RX350H. The contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start as intended. The contact stated that the doors failed to unlatch, and the key fob failed to function as intended. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. Additionally, the failure had occurred while the contact and her husband were occupying the vehicle. The contact stated that luckily the weather was not cold, or a baby was not in the vehicle during the failure. AAA was contacted and provided a jumpstart to the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 16,342.

Heard clicking noise coming from steering wheel. Car shimmied when breaking off of freeway. Newish car, only 20,611 miles. Took into dealership before anything went awry. Dealership said never heard of the steering problem before. Turned out it was a tie rod going bad and repair was covered by warranty. Break issue was also covered by warranty.

Very poor quality front windshield, very fragile. Breaks and chips off very fast even with small rocks which impairs visibility even after repairs leading to replacement of front windshield due to poor visibility especially glare from the sun. Vehicle now has a lots of rock chip damage making to a position to costly repair from $3000 to $5000

Was pulling into parking spot when car went haywire and started accelerating on its own. It would not stop until it has hit 5 cars and crashed into a cement wall. The brakes did NOT stop the acceleration. This occurred at the exact same time there was an incoming call which was not answered. The airbags did NOT deploy. The car appears to be totaled and has been towed to a State Farm affiliated auto yard. There were no indicator lights that something was wrong BUT the Lexus app showed 5 warnings that came in to my text messages same day. These 5 alerts are indicative of exactly what occurred.

When we purchased this car in June 2024 it did not have an engine revving issue. The engine, electrical or transmission maybe all of them have SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES! When driving and you let off the gas pedal the engine starts revving very loudly, it scares the heck out of you because you don't know if you can stop! I have a serious mechanical background, there is always the possibility of the transmission not disengaging and forcing the car NOT to stop! This issue is VERY DANGEROUS AND SCARY! We get very nervous driving a car we paid almost 70K for! Yes reported to the dealer Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis, yes they have duplicated the issues. After keeping our car now on two different occasions for weeks at a time they went to Lexus engineers who are now trying to say its normal! if so, why didn't it start doing the revving until there were thousands of miles on the car! THIS IS A COVER UP! Not been inspected by the manufacturer yet, they only spoke with them. No reason for police or insurance yet. No, there has never been a check engine light appear. The only other thing the car did, after the first time of it revving like this it died when we were pulling out in traffic, it didn't die it actually shut off! This has only happened the one time, it shutting off, can it do it again you bet! These cars are dangerous, I hope nobody has to die to prove this!

Lexus RX Sunroof exploded on it's own. I just left my driveway and was the only vehicle on the road. There were no projectiles, the sunroof glass simply exploded and glass flew into the air. if I was driving at 60 MPH, the exploded glass would have become a projectile and could seriously hurt a bystander. They were no warnings. I filed a complaint with Lexus Reference # 250820001020 but their response was that this was not a mfg issue. I pointed out that they are two class action suits on Lexus, but they insist that this is not a recalled part. This is a safety issue with glass flying at 40 to 60 MPH in the open air.

While driving on the freeway the sun roof "exploded" shattering glass out onto the highway. The noise was loud and frightening. Upon pulling over I observed most of the sunroof was gone with fragments of glass remaining along the edges of the roof. I believe this to be a major safety issue. If the ceiling cover had been open, the passenger in the rear seat could have been seriously injured. No doubt flying glass is a danger to any cars following. The vehicle was inspected by the Lexus dealer who declined to cover the damage under warranty. My insurance (CSAA) agreed to pay the cost of replacement. The glass shop which did the work indicated this is a manufacturing defect and indicated they replace 5-6 sun roofs a week.

Gas gauge very inaccurate. manual calls for 'low fuel' at 2.6 gallons, actually comes on between 7 -8 gallons left in tank. Dealer accepts it is a problem but has no solution. attempting to get full range may leave car out of gas on highway, since gauge cannot be trusted.

We live on dirt road in Kansas, and must drive 2.5 miles to get to paved road. This RX 500h Sport does NOT have proper gaskets around the doors. We can actually see dust rolling into the front and back doors as we drive. We have had numerousLexus RXs,& GXs over the years and never experienced a dust problem at this level. Again, we can actually see dust clouds entering the car as we drive down our daily 2.5 dirt road trips.

I experienced a sudden release of toxic fumes from the vehicle between the steering column and instrument panel area on June 29, 2025, while driving. The fumes struck my face, caused immediate bitter chemical-like taste and made me feel physically ill and extremely concerned for my safety. The fumes were strong enough to leave a lingering taste described as “bitter and green” with initial symptoms of headache, lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting green substances, eye irritations, nose and throat irritations. The local auto dealership inspected the vehicle, no mechanical defect was identified, and they noted that they cannot reproduced the event that led to the release of the toxic fumes. However, the vehicle manufacturer took possession of the vehicle for 1 week to conduit further inspections

Brand new vehicle- 12volt battery failed after 5 weeks. Lexus initially stated battery fine. Then battery failed while in their possession- Lexus replaced battery. Few weeks later battery failed again. Lexus tested & replaced battery for second time - but battery kept draining & they were unable to repair after having vehicle at dealership for 3.5 months

This car is a hybrid. it is 15mos. old w/13500 miles. I've had two 12v battery failures which resulted in 1 time being locked out of car, and 1 time locked in.

From last month, I am receiving a lot of messages on my IPhone that multiple rear doors are open, please check the doors. Over night RX2024H draining the Battery and a lot of time it shows on screen red. Today again it showed only close to 20% charge left. I took the RX to Roseville Lexus and they perform 10K miles service and advise me that this RX350H has issues with the notices sending to owner's cell phones. They advised me to delete my account and logoff on my cell for Lexus App. Now I am driving on GUEST Mode and it still has the Battery issue it is draining over night or when parked in the garage. Chris Lawson at Roseville Lexus told me last month that RX350H has this issue and when battery is dead and car won't start and they called the Lexus service and they sent the AAA and AAA guy. Some of them got more issues and Lexus is not covering it under warranty. When, I called Chris that my batter shows RED on charge and he said, if I want them to check the car dealer will charge $219 for trouble shooting. Please look into it and Lexus should fix the issues in their cars or fix the issues in the applications. it is not safe for driving. The contact stated that this was a distraction while driving instead of a safety feature. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. I was trying to park behind a car. Slowed down the car. Just about 20 feet behind the car, the car suddenly started to accelerate. The speed was super fast. I had to step on the brake some hard to stop the car. Fortunately the car stopped just in time. No crash happened.

When I was parking my car 20 feet behind a car by the street , the car suddenly accelerated. I stepped hard on the brake and fortunately stopped the car about 3 feet from the car in the front. No crash happened

Battery completely dead. Unable to unlock doors, close windows during rain storms or start vehicle. No electrical power at all! Dissatisfied

The vehicle would not start. It is a known problem with this PHEV that if car is not used for a couple of days the 12v battery becomes depleted and the car cannot be started and all systems of the car are dead.

The vehicle was locked, parked in garage. 12V battery failed. Vehicle became a brick. Vehicle had to be towed to dealership. Battery changed under warranty.

I am writing to report a serious safety issue involving my Lexus RX350. While driving on the freeway with my [XXX] child, I suddenly heard a loud explosion-like sound coming from the roof. To my shock, I discovered that the sunroof glass had shattered into pieces. Fortunately, the sunroof cover was closed, preventing glass from entering the cabin and potentially causing severe injuries. When I contacted my Lexus dealership, they acknowledged that another GX had come in just the previous week with the exact same issue. They insisted that a rock was the cause. However, I find it extremely concerning that a small rock could cause such catastrophic failure, indicating that the glass material may be dangerously flimsy. This incident has left me deeply shaken, as it could have resulted in severe injury or even loss of control of the vehicle. I am afraid for my safety and that of my family, knowing that this could happen again. I urge NHTSA to investigate whether this is a defect in the sunroof design or material quality, as it poses a significant risk to drivers and passengers. Low voltage warning, vehicle purchased new 3 months ago. Vehicle failed to start

When I start to coast to come to a stop the engine will rev, even though the Energy Flow screen shows the gas engine is disengaged and running only on EV. The engine will rev, even with me using the brake. But the EV light is off and the rpms are rising. Eventually the EV light will come on and the gas engine will cut off and the vehicle will switch to EV mode. My mpg has dropped to 36.2, so something is not right. When I was at the dealer for my 10K service, they told me this was the car "shedding" the extra energy, but the battery was not fully charged, so I'm perplexed and frustrated.

Below is the email that I sent to both the manufacturer and the dealership: I hope your Christmas Eve was better than mine. My son and I were driving up to the Poconos [XXX] to go skiing and I noticed the sonar detection light come on. When we were driving back from the Poconos, the transmission would not catch around the second or third gear. The RPMs would shoot up. The dash / warning lights lit up. I pulled over to the side of the road and I called Lexus dealership, service center, and road side assistance. However, due to the fact that it was [XXX], the offices were closed. I managed to make it to my parent’s home, but it was a very dangerous ride on [XXX]. The odometer stated that we were going 50 mph, but we were crawling and the RPMs were 4000. The RPMs at rest were always over 1000. Additionally at times, the gear would not shift into second or third and/or bottom out. Obviously the transmission is beyond malfunctioning. Below are pictures including: 1.) check your engine: A malfunction in the electric control of the engine, throttle or automatic transmission has been detected... 2.) a malfunction in the Intelligent Clearance, Sonar System has been detected 3.) traction control turned off 4.) The car comes with proactive driver assist. The system when activated will cause the car to unexpectedly turn the wheel and lunge usually left if the system suspects you are going off of track. It works even on unmarked 2 lane country roads. Very disconcerting and dangerous. My wife was then subsequently in a serious accident on a slippery and snowy night that totaled the car. We are not convinced that the proactive driver assist system was the cause of the accident but can't help but think it may have been a contributing factor to the accident. Her car swerved into the oncoming lane on a unmarked (snow covered) highway.

My sunroof exploded while driving this morning shattering all over me and almost causing a life threatening crash.

While driving on a local highway recently, my forearm brushed the automatic shift knob while reaching to place my phone on the wireless charging pad. The transmission shifted into neutral, resulting in an unexpected loss of speed. It took me a few seconds to realize what had happened - I shifted back into Drive, and resumed my trip. No accident resulted from this, but it has happened twice in the month that I have owned the car. I reported the issue to the dealership thinking my car had a problem - they said that this is the way the car is designed to function. I found a section in the Owner's Manual which confirms this - shifting from Drive to Neutral while stationary requires the knob to be held to the left for a couple seconds; for some reason, doing this while moving requires only a tap (see attached photo of the owner's manual). This seems like a design issue - the unexpected loss of power from bumping the shift knob to the left (no forward or backward motion is needed) could easily result in an accident. I don't understand why they specifically created a system where a "push and hold" is not required to shift into neutral when the vehicle is moving. I reported this issue to corporate Lexus today. They said they will consider this feedback in subsequent model designs, but I wonder whether a recall is appropriate. That's why I'm reporting the issue to you, as well.

The material (most likely) plastic used as a trim on the vehicle is melted or started to melt. This is the trim (b-pilar) between the driver's door and the rear passenger's door. We believe the quality of the material used for the trim is defective and should be addressed by the manufacturer.
