Defect. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2024 Jay Feather travel trailers. A14-inch spare tire was mistakenly installed when the tire placard information is based on a 15-inch tire. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Risk. Referring to the placard, the operator can inflate the tire to an incorrect pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the spare tire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 28, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901609.
